Hello @ST Community @ST MICROCONTOLLER I have purchase NUCELO-H563ZI board.Purpose: I need to read and write pendrive sector using only pure HAL HCD driver (Baremetal Code only) (No FILEX, USBx, ThreadX, FreeRTOS)Following is my Hardware Connection: I am using external USB Type A Female Breakout board. Not using internal CN13 TypeC USB connector.PA11 : D-MinusPA12 : D-PLUSVCC : 5VGND : Board GroundI have attached file which can read and write the sector. While submitting request for “Get Descriptor” command. Code is stuck during USB_EnumerateMSC » USB_GetDescriptor » “USB_ControlTransfer” » “USB_SubmitTransfer” >> “HAL_HCD_HC_SubmitRequest”  stuck in “USB_WaitForURB>>HAL_HCD_HC_GetURBState” function.I can observe that while submitting “HAL_HCD_HC_SubmitRequest” request on channel 0 HAL Drive respond on channel 1 instead of channel 0. ch[0].urbState = USB_IDEL while ch[1].urbState = USB_DONE.Also i have also observe that “HCD_HC_OUT_IRQHandler(hhcd, (uint8_t)i);” API “uint8

Hi, I want to use SPI2 on the STM32H757AIIx, the UFBGA169 package. STM32CubeMX allocates PC2_C pin as SPI2_MISO, but the datasheet only shows ADC2_INN1, ADC3_INP0 as additional functions. SPI2_MISO is not defined on that pin (K13). Which one is correct ? Datasheet or STM32CubeMX ?

I am currently working with an ST25R300 reader IC and would like to increase the available RF power at the antenna in order to achieve a higher field strength/read range.I only need ISO/IEC 15693 modulation.I need about 5-8 watts of output power. Is it possible to drive a H bridge driver IC with the push pull output of the ST25R300? And what about deadtime etc.Are there any reference designs or application notes from ST showing an ST25R device combined with an external PA? Thank you in advance!

After creating the project from Workbench, I discovered that pins PA14 and PA13 in CubeMX were not working. I checked the Workbench settings again but couldn't find any parameters related to this issue. Without these pins, the motor cannot communicate. I also tried manually configuring them and the motor worked, but I think the Workbench setup would be better.Schematic of B-G431B-ESC1 discovery kitCube MX

Could you please share the detailed optical filter characteristics of the filter integrated in front of the VL53L9CX receiving sensor, including its spectral transmission/response characteristics? Also, I would like to understand the power supply noise sensitivity of the sensor. Could you please provide the acceptable input voltage deviation, ripple, and noise limits for the sensor's power supplies?

The official STM32U0 SVD version 1.0 files for STM32U031, STM32U073, andSTM32U083 specify:  <nvicPrioBits>4</nvicPrioBits>The manual (RM0503) documents four programmable interrupt priority levels implemented withtwo priority bits. ST's own current CMSIS device headers also specify thecorrect value:  stm32u031xx.h: #define __NVIC_PRIO_BITS 2  stm32u073xx.h: #define __NVIC_PRIO_BITS 2  stm32u083xx.h: #define __NVIC_PRIO_BITS 2The svd metadata files are used in the rust ecosystem as well as other third party tooling.SVD code generators exposing this value to software firmware.I’m using the rust RTIC framework along side stm32/stm32-rs crate which depend on the SVD for source oftruth configuring for various stm32 MCUs.The issue above manifests in the following bug in that framework:In stm32-rs/stm32-rs, svd2rust generated `NVIC_PRIO_BITS = 4` fromthe ST SVD. RTIC then converted logical priorities using four bits. Logicalpriorities 1, 2, 3, and 4 were written as 0xf0, 0xe0, 0xd0

Summary STM32CubeMX (STM32U5 targets; reproduced with 6.18.0-RC3 and 6.18.1-RC2) generates an incorrect clock-disable call in the LSE bring-up block of HAL_RTC_MspInit() in Core/Src/rtc.c. The restore path that is meant to switch the PWR peripheral clock back off passes an AHB3 peripheral mask to the APB1 disable function:/* Restore clock configuration if changed */if (pwrclkchanged == SET){LL_APB1_GRP1_DisableClock(LL_AHB3_GRP1_PERIPH_PWR); /* generated — wrong bus group */}The matching enable earlier in the same function is generated correctly:if (LL_AHB3_GRP1_IsEnabledClock (LL_AHB3_GRP1_PERIPH_PWR) != 1U){/* Enables the PWR Clock and Enables access to the backup domain */LL_AHB3_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB3_GRP1_PERIPH_PWR);pwrclkchanged = SET;} DiagnosisOn the STM32U5, the PWR peripheral clock lives on AHB3, and the two enable registers happen to use the same bit position:Register Bit 2 Reference RCC_AHB3ENR PWREN — PWR clock enable RM0456 Rev 5, §11.8.32, p. 558 RCC_APB1ENR

Hi All,im currently trying to get an UL approval for one of our products which uses the VL53L5CX sensor. Now, they require a full CB Test Report (not only a CB certificate). My question is: can ST provide this test report for their costumers? Also, since i can’t be the first person trying to achieve a UL approval for a porduct using a ST ToF sensor, i would be interested in your experiences regarding this matter.

Hi, I am currently working with the LPS25HB chip, which performs well overall. However, once integrated into my device, I observed a consistent offset in the pressure readings. To address this, I applied an offset correction, and the readings became accurate. During initial testing with 15 devices, each unit required an individual offset adjustment. After applying these corrections, all devices reported pressure values within a similar range. My device is enclosed in a circular case with a small opening positioned directly above the sensor. As I move toward mass production of over 1,000 boards, assigning offsets individually becomes a significant challenge. Based on my testing, it appears that offset calibration is mandatory. I would appreciate your guidance on how to streamline this process. Specifically:Recommended steps to assign offsets efficiently during mass productionAny soldering guidelines, such as temperature considerations, to minimize offset issuesSuggestions for alternative

Hello ST Community,I am working on an STM32N6 project where I need to implement a USB composite device containing three distinct classes: CDC ACM Instance 1 CDC ACM Instance 2 UVC (USB Video Class) Current Status & Setup:The dual CDC ACM implementation is fully stable and working properly. I generated the basic framework using STM32CubeMX (.ioc), which handles the initial USBX configuration, the first CDC instance, and sets up the composite device configuration. Following that, I manually added the second CDC ACM instance code to the project. On top of this working multi-CDC setup, I now want to integrate the Video Class layer. I have enabled the core video class inside the .ioc file and regenerated the code to expand the descriptor framework. The Challenge:To support high-bandwidth Isochronous (ISO) streaming for the Video class component, I integrated the uvcl (USB Video Class Library) middleware extracted from the ST Edge AI Getting Started exampleThe issue started exactly upo

Hi all,I’m trying to follow this guide here but when I try to run the model on target I always got an error failed to erase memory. Here is the log. Greetings.I'm a Linux user, I use Windows on a smaller notebook for tools like TouchGFX, but this is quite inconvenient. Is there any plan to release a Linux version of TouchGFX Designer?I saw in the documentation that there's a simulator and that it can even be used with Wine; I'll test it today, but it would be really good to have a native version.Link where I saw information about the simulator: https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/introduction/prerequisitesthanks

Hello ST team,I noticed what appears to be a documentation typo in the STM32MPU Wiki page “How to configure TSN switch”, section 3.1 – Run the PTP stack. The documentation states:“dePTP stack is started by default. To start it using via systemctl:”but the command shown immediately after that sentence is:systemctl stop deptpI believe the intended command is:systemctl start deptpThis is also consistent with the later “How to trace the PTP stack” section of the same page, where the documentation correctly uses:systemctl stop deptpto stop the service, and:systemctl start deptpto start it again. The Qbv section also states that gPTP synchronization should be started beforehand and thatdeptpis started by default.Could you please confirm and correct the command in section 3.1 if this is indeed a documentation typo?Thank you.

Hello,Is it possible to pull Vref- lower then Vss? For reverse voltage protrection I use a diode and a resistor to create GND1. GND1 is then connected to VSS of the µC.Scematic. All caps omittedCan I connect Vref- to GND? See Image.Datasheet stm32c542ccThe datasheet does not specify. If I connect Vref- to GND1 all values i measure with the ADC must be against GND1 otherwise the result is off by the offset of GND1 to GND.

Hi everyone!I get an error message when trying to create a support request. The same just like in this topic.I don't know who is my Salesforce admin is or how to contact them.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Team, I am using STM32N6,I am using about 50 GPIOs, all for SPI and I2C communications, and the VDD port supplies 200mA, Will the usage of all these pins consume less than 200mA, or do I have to widen the range of VDD? Also, what is the total max current consumed by the STM32N6 during its maximum processing, Please let me know.Thank you.

Having problem getting STM32C091FCP6 that is new (not otherwise programmed) to respond to STLINK device at power on.Details-Preparing to move a project from STM32C011J6M6 to STM32C091FCP6 to obtain larger pin count and larger memory capacity. On first attempt to attach STLINK V2 device to the target containing a new STM32C091FCP6 (SWDIO, SWCLK and GND to a device on 3.3V power), STLINK not starting as expected (power is being applied before STM32CubeProgrammer is commanded to “Connect.”To rule out PCB layout error on the (new) STM32CX091FCP6-based version of project, I attached another (also new from supplier) MCU to STLINK V2 device attaching only SWDIO, SWCLK and GND to STLINK, applied 3.3V power (all other pins open), and again STLINK not handling “Connect” command as expected. I am currently working with an STM32 MCU and facing an issue while trying to connect the board to my PC using an ST-LINK debugger. The board powers on normally and there does not appear to be any obvious hardware issue, but STM32CubeProgrammer is unable to detect the target device. The connection attempt either fails or reports that no target is found, so I am currently unable to program or debug the MCU.So far, I have checked the basic connections and setup:USB cable and ST-LINK connection Board power supply and voltage SWDIO and SWCLK connections STM32CubeProgrammer installation ST-LINK firmware and connection settingsI am not sure if the problem could be caused by the MCU configuration, SWD interface, boot mode, or some setting that may have been changed in the firmware. I would also like to know if there are any recommended STM32CubeProgrammer options or recovery procedures that should be tried when the target MCU is not detected.Has anyone experienced a similar issue with an STM32

I'm trying to get USBX Device MSC to work in Standalone mode (without RTOS).  I loosely followed @B.Montanari 's example in https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-implement-usbx-in-standalone-mode/ta-p/614435, and also referred to a CubeMX example for Device MSC which does use an RTOS (STM32Cube_FW_U5_V1.6.0\Projects\STM32U575I-EV\Applications\USBX\Ux_Device_MSC).  I'm running this on an STM32U5 dev kit. There are no errors, Windows recognizes the USB MSC device, and a drive shows up.  But something isn't working quite right, since Windows tells me to insert a disk, won't format the volume, and doesn't seem to recognize its size.I'm not quite sure yet where things are going wrong, but I thought I'd see if this configuration is expected to work or if I'm overlooking any other examples before digging further...

Hi,A bare-metal solution using the ST87M01-1301 modem (FW: v2.9.0) and a TCP connection to a remote server, with mbedTLS handling the TLS. We are experiencing an issue with one specific server (which is not under our management, making it very difficult to obtain server-side logs). The server does not respond to our TLS Client Hello at all. It does not send a TLS alert or close the connection; it simply leaves the socket open until our application timeout terminates the connection after 2 minutes. Here is what we have verified and tested so far:* The exact same Client Hello payload was copied and tested from a PC, and the server responds correctly with a Server Hello.* The exact same bare-metal implementation works with three other remote servers.* +CGCONTRDP reports an MTU of 1500. We have attempted to lower the "max_ip_frame_size" on the ST87M01 from 1600 down to 512 bytes, but it had no effect.* During PC test, if we transmit an invalid Client Hello, the server immediately terminates

I’m trying to implement USB mass storage class device standalone(no RTOS) on nucleo board STM32U575ZI-Q, using RAM for memory.I tried adapting these steps : but right now, in MX_USBX_Init(), inside  ux_device_stack_initialize  , at this point:#if UX_DEVICE_ENDPOINT_BUFFER_OWNER == 0 /* Obtain some memory. */ endpoints_pool -> ux_slave_endpoint_transfer_request.ux_slave_transfer_request_data_pointer = _ux_utility_memory_allocate(UX_NO_ALIGN, UX_CACHE_SAFE_MEMORY, UX_SLAVE_REQUEST_DATA_MAX_LENGTH); /* Ensure we could allocate memory. */ if (endpoints_pool -> ux_slave_endpoint_transfer_request.ux_slave_transfer_request_data_pointer == UX_NULL) { status = UX_MEMORY_INSUFFICIENT; break; }#endifit goes : status = UX_MEMORY_INSUFFICIENT;Because of that, ux_device_stack_initialize returns UX_ERROR;  witch i think causes Hard fa

Using STM32CubeIDE v1.17 (STM32CubeMX v6.13) to edit IOC file and generate code...Previously when working with STM32H563 I selected X-CUBE-FREERTOS under Middleware, added tasks, generated code, and saw expected code in app_freertos.c for tasks. Now starting to work with STM32G491. Under Middleware I see FREERTOS but no X-CUBE-FREERTOS. After adding a task and generating code, I see nothing in app_freertos.c for the task. What is the difference between FREERTOS and X-CUBE-FREERTOS?Why don’t I see X-CUBE-FREERTOS when working with STM32G491?
