In my project, I used the LIS3DH chip. Most of the time the processor sleeps. The processor wakes up on time and on exceeding the shock threshold. In case of awakening on shock threshold, I need to read the data from the FIFO buffer (32 measurements) that were before the wake-up signaland a series of measurements (600-32) after waking up.How could I do this? Now I am reading the measurements while waiting for the ZYXDA register ready bit STATUS_REG(27h) set. FIFO always enabled in Stream mode. But this metod may not work when reading the FIFO part of the measurements. Should I change the read algorithm when reading data from FIFO?I think this is the algorithm:1. Read FIFO 32 measurements on wakeup by observing the EMPTY bit of the FIFO_SRC_REG(2Fh) register2. Disable FIFO by resetting FIFO_EN register CTRL_REG5(24h)3. Read 600 - 32 measurements waiting for ZYXDA bit STATUS_REG(27h)Or is it possible somehow easier? In the DocID17530 Rev 2 and AN3308 documentation, I did not find an answer to

Hi, I'm developping an application for Android on VisualStudio with Xamarin.I implemented the ST sdk, interfaces and the « ST driver » Tagdiscovery. But at the execution, In the « PerformTagDiscovery » into TagDiscovery class, the line « tagInfo.nfcTag = new ST25DVTag(readerInterface, uid); » generate an exception : Java.Lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Failed resolution of: Lorg/apache/commons/lang3/BitField;I try to implement manually Commons-Lang from apache on VisualStudio, but not possible, there is many and many error ....Is that a solution ?

I configured 2 file storage devices on my STM32H745I-DISCO board.USB_OTG_FS and SDMMC1 (for built in eMMC).Both devices initialize properly without errors. The USB host detects the device, it correctly identifies it as media storage class device. It enters the state HOST_USER_CLASS_ACTIVE.Then I start the new RTOS task to mount the device. On STM32H747I-DISCO it worked (although via USB_OTG_HS external). On this board I get HARD_FAULT interrupt when the driver tries to read data. The HARD_FAULT occurs both when trying to read or write from USB disk or MMC.

Hi,I am using STM32L476. COMP1 and COMP2 are configured in window mode, and that is working great. I am also using TIM1 break function. Below is a summary of the problem that I am encountering:If I use COMP1, and only COMP1, as a source for BREAK or BREAK2, the break function works fine.If I use COMP2, and only COMP2, as a source for BREAK or BREAK2, the break function works fine.If I use COMP1 or COMP2 as an ADDITIONAL source for a BREAK or BREAK2 configuration which was previously working, the break function stops working.I don't know if that's because there is a problem with the break function not accepting multiple sources (that should not be the case, as the manual clearly says that multiple sources are possible and they are ORed), or if there is a problem when using COMP1 / COMP2 as a break source (maybe that's related to the window mode configuration). Therefore, I just wanted to know if anybody already managed to use COMP1 AND COMP2 as sources for BREAK or BREAK2.Thanks a lot fo

I have a LCD display working on a nucleo F412 using FSMC. I'm trying to move to a nucleo F746. I have moved the code and includes from the 412 to the 746 project and connected the display to the correct pins for the 746. The 746 pin out is a little different than the 412 for the default connections. I have the same clock speeds and settings. I compared the FMC init function line by line between the two and all the setting match, but I can't get the display to work using the 746. Using a logic analyzer and comparing the two boards running the same code I can see there are differences on the FMC A18,FMC_NE1,FMC_NWE and FMC_NOE pins. The logic analyzer is sampling at 24MHZ. I've moved the display jumpers for the display back to the F412 and it works, back to F746 making sure to adjust for the differences in the pins a few times now. Any idea's where or why the display works on the F412 but the same settings, clock speeds and code won't work on the F746? Thanks

Hello There,I am currently work on 6 - Step (Trapezoidal) Control and have developed my software with Nucleo - F302R8. I have a low inductance(23uH) bldc motor. When I've tested this motor with my software, current signal doesn't look right. Also, we have tested bldc motor with another motor driver and signal is same. What can be the reason of this signal?Yellow -> Dc_Bus - PhasePurple -> Phase CurrentPWM at 50% duty cycle PWM at 100% duty cycle

I have two STM32 devices and both are identical, send and receive messages in frame formats. They both have UART, DMA, NVIC etc. And I need a good strategy to setup a lossless communication between them. There is too much information online, but very little about which is good method. Also this project is configured with RTOS.What I found online:--> Interrupts is bad strategy.--> DMA is the good one, DMA with circular buffer is also a good one.--> byte format is not reliable, so use frame type.(identifier, address, data, crc)can someone help me here? I'm actually overwhelmed by these concepts.

Hello all, I am starting a new project based on the STM32F302 MCU and I am running into an interesting clock configuration timeout issue that results in a fault during most debug sessions. So far, all I have done is configure the clock tree and enabled the USB peripheral as a virtual COM port. I am using an external 16 MHz oscillator which feeds directly to the system clock. The USB peripheral clock is generated using the internal PLL x3 to 48 MHz.  The System Clock Config function generated is given below:void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInit = {0};   /** Initializes the RCC Oscillators according to the specified parameters * in the RCC_OscInitTypeDef structure. */ RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEState = RCC_HSE_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEPredivValue = RCC_HSE_PREDIV_DIV1; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSIState =

Hi Sir,I use sample code in STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.13.0\Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Applications\BLE\BLE_p2pServer and BLE_p2pClient. The BLE characteristic's property CHAR_PROP_WRITE_WITHOUT_RESP is used in the sample, I try to modified it as CHAR_PROP_WRITE, then client cannot control blue LED by pressing SW1 button. is there anywhere need to modify if I use CHAR_PROP_WRITE property? thank you.Best regards,C

Hi, can anyone explain to me about this FlexPWM driver? What is SM0 stand for? and how i can set the driver based on pin configuration? i did not understand about this setting.Let say i want to configure pin on PORT_E[5] which is PWM_0/A1_0. So, in this setting which one i need to tick to enable the driver?

Hi all,I have a question regarding the control of the UART interrupt on the STM32F4.First let me describe the application:int main(void) {   SystemInit();   //Stream out Data via Uart via DMA HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&huart2, (uint8_t *)UARTMessage_out, MSGLENGTH); //Enable UART Rx interrupt in order to receive messages over Terminal HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart2, dataRx, 1);   /* Infinite loop */ while (1) {   ADCRead(); Computations(); DACWrite(); //In this section the transmit Interrupt is allowed to fire HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(DMA1_Stream6_IRQn);   if(DMAReady == 1) { GenerateUARTMsg(); DMAReady=0; UART_DMA_Transmit() } //here the UART transmit interrupt again disabled HAL_NVIC_DisableIRQ(DMA1_Stream6_IRQn);   }   }   //Callback when MCUout/PCin Message is done //Here the time between two Messages is measured void HAL_UART_TxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) {   timer = __HAL_TIM_GetCounter(&htim2);

Hey Guys,I am trying to use the NFC Tap app to transfer data to an ST25DV device I have here, using the FTM mailbox feature.Mailbox is enabled. I get an error message from the App saying the send had failed.General question: When the App sends over the data to the device, do I have to read it in that moment or in fact, do I have to do anything at all or does the ST25 takes care of this for me and I just need to know when the transfer is over and read the mailbox's content? If there is someone here who is working with this and can shade some light on this for me it would be great. Thank you,Nir

Posted on November 05, 2015 at 08:39I only need to get the UID of a iClass card. According to the IS15693 specification, it is MANDATORY for the card to respond to the INVENTORY command. After the card is detected, I set the chip to this protocol format: 0x01 0x09 0x01 is ISO15693 protocol 0x09 is 26Kbps, Wait for SOF, 100% modulation, Single sub carrier, Append CRC. Then I send the INVENTORY command: 0x26 0x01 0x00        // ISO15693 spec, table 1,5 and 9 0x26 is the flags: Bit 1: Sub-carrier flag = 0 Bit 2: Data rate flag = 1 Bit 3: Inventory flag = 1 Bit 4: Protocol extension = 0 Bit 5:AFI flag = 0 Bit 6: Nb slots flag = 1 Bit 7: Options flag =0 Bit 8: 0 0x01 is the INVENTORY command 0x00 is the length of the mask, no mask used. I have another ISO15693 card, and it responds in the correct manner to this request. What needs to be different for the iClass card? Please help. #cr95hf-iclass-pico-iso15693

So I want to make a custom client with mu own service UUID and characteristics which is 128 bits but in cubeMX I can only choose client mode: custom p2p client.Everytime I generate code from MX it will delete my changes in the wpan code and use the p2p example code instead.I have not found a way to remove the code generation or choose my own services. Any help is appreciated.// Wallentin

We need to update CubeMx from 6.3.0 to the latest version. When updated before, we were told to completly remove CubeMx and start again. This caused all sorts of issues. There must be an easy way to update these days. We can't see any options on the CubeMx menu for updating CubeMx..

Dear Sir,When I read the document of X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1, I found that the IRQ pin is not connected to CN5. I wonder the demo sample provided inST25NFC_Embedded_Lib_ST25R3916_1.4.0\Projects\STM32L476RG-Nucleo\Applications\X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 do not use IRQ interrupt?best regardsDai Sai

Dear Sir,In order to check the RFAL functions with sample project in ST25NFC_Embedded_Lib_ST25R3916_1.4.0\Projects\STM32L476RG-Nucleo\Applications,I bought a X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1. I have a STM32F401RE nucleo board already, I wonderif the two board can be used for checking function without any modification of the sample code.If any modification is necessary, would you like to inform me the related information.best regardsDai Sai

I would like to communicate with FLASH using OCTSPI on nucleo l4r5zi.   I am creating a driver for OCTSPI for communication, but I have a question.I plan to use the regular command mode, INDIRECT_READ and INDIRECT_WRITE.The driver is designed to store the data to be sent in an internal buffer and send the data in the buffer via SPI on interrupt. The image is as follows.static uint8_t buf[256]; static uint8_t send_cnt; static uint8_t send_num;   /* interrput */ void interrupt(void){ if(check interrput status) DR register = buf[send_idx]; send_cnt--; send_idx++; if(send_cnt==0){ disable interrupt } } }   /* send function */ void send(uint8_t *data, uint8_t size){ send_cnt = size; send_idx = 0; /* IR,AR,DLR等?設定 */ ～ /* Set the datas to be sent to internal buffer */ for(i=0;i<size;i++){ buf[i] = data[i]; } enable interrupt }I understand that the number of data to be sent needs to be set in the DLR register when sending/receivin

Hello, I am implementing Card Emulation function with CR95HF Chip. There is no description of the card emulator function in the datasheet, so I'm not sure if it can be used or not.If possible, can you provide the material in code form?It is implemented with Arduino sketch program. I've asked the question a few times before, but I haven't been able to solve it. I would be very grateful if you could help me.

Hello,I have a high power consumption during deepstop. The goal is less than 5µA (announced less than 1 in the datasheet).I removed every other chips on my custom board to found the solution. It's a small board. When I enter in deepstop mode (without RTC, without any wake-up to test), the current starts at 2-3µA and slowly increases to +-50µA in around 20 seconds. Then the current is stable. We think that it's related with the temperature, if the board is "hot", the starting current is higher. If I freeze the board, the current change (increase or decrease, it's "random").I setup PWRC_PUCRx and PWRC_PDCRx according to my board.Do you know where this issue could come from?Thank you

There is gpio interrupts enabled on both cores, but for different pins. Both cores run mbed os 6.15Programs on th both cores are almost the same:void gpioInterruptHandler () { gpio_irq_disable (); someFlag = true; disableCounter++; }   void pollProcedure () // called every 1ms { if (someFlag) { /* do some processing */ someFlag = false; gpio_irq_enable (); enableCounter++; } }Actually, programs use InterruptIn from the mbed, but I omited it to make code more simple.gpio_irq_enable function is from the mbed targets/TARGET_STM/gpio_irq_api.cAt the beginning of the gpio_irq_disable function it disables trigger in the FTSR1 register. And at the end of the gpio_irq_enable function it enables trigger in the FTSR1 register.Problem: If both gpio inputs generate alot of interrupts, sometimes after the exit from the gpio_irq_enable function there is no trigger enabled in FTSR1, although it enables it at the end of the function.disableCounter and enableCounter are introduced for deb

I would like to be able to read the memory content from a mifare and/or Felica tag similar to how the NXP tag detector app on Android does. How would I go about doing that?I have implemented the demo polling example using nfc03a1 and a non st chip over SPI. When reading the Felica tag I get the UID and system code but I get "check block: FAIL". it seems this if statement is failing: checkRes[RFAL_NFCF_CHECKUPDATE_RES_ST1_POS] != RFAL_NFCF_STATUS_FLAG_SUCCESS in the rfalNfcfPollerCheck function. this is the output: Felica/NFC-F card found.
