Hi everyone,I am not sure what is the difference between GP and N version of the chip. What I can find in the datasheet is that N version has additional VDDIO2 and VSS pins. If that is the only difference, what changes do these pins bring? Thanks!

Is there any demo code for rfal_t4t library, i am trying to read data from mifare desfire card but don't know which library to use. Thanks, Khoa

Hi all,I have a piece of code that does DMA on a UART port. This DMA i read in an buffer and i reply in 1 msSometimes i dont get the incomming UART message. I wanted to confimr this with the debug mode and reading the buffer with "live expressions". But when i use debug mode with live expresions the error never occurs. The rest of the codde is the same. Is there a difference in timing with the DMA UART when debug is enabled?

I use STM32CubeIDE 1.13.0 to generate code for NUCLEO-L476RG.The generated SystemClock_Config() put flash latency configuration after the clock configuration. I don't know why it works for the first call, but if I call it after exiting stop mode, it make some weird error. If i put the flash latency configuration after the voltage configuration and before clock configuration, it works correctly. Is there a reason to put the flash latency configuration after the clock configuration ?Would it be better to generate code that put the flash latency configuration before the clock configuration so we can use the same function for exiting stop mode ?

Hi,what's the state of the S24_LE format support on the STM32MP1 line of boards? It seems that S16_LE and S32_LE formats are supported on the I2S dai, however S24_LE is rather unavailable. Is there a way to somehow enable it (maybe through Cube MX) or is it completely unsupported? When running alsa speaker-test utility with hardware devices (not default) the S24_LE format is being rejected. Thanks!

I am trying to configure MPU of stm32f407g-disc1 board for FreeRTOS. But i am not able to get any reference or any documentation related to it. Can anybody please help me?

I am succeded connect and initialize the flash with UDE STK 5.2, but when I try to program the flash with memtool, the program button is unclickable.where's the step I am missing?

I'm completely new to embedded system development. Bought an evaluation board from Amazon. I tried to convert the ST-Link to J-Link by following these instructions: https://www.segger.com/products/debug-probes/j-link/models/other-j-links/st-link-on-board/. But in  SEGGER STLinkReflash, when I choose [1] Upgrade to J-Link, it showed ST-Link not found. I used a micro USB B to USB A cable to connect the board to the PC. LED for power was staying on. LED3 was blinking quickly. LED4 was blinking slowly. Button1 was functional. It could choose which LED from LED1-LED3 to blink. I have tried the connect the board to three Windows devices(a desktop, a laptop, and a surface). All the results were the same. I suspect ST-Link driver was not functioning well. But I can't tell.

Hi everyone, reading the official TouchGFX documentation, in the section "Backend Communication->example",ST people say that there are examples for STM32F746G Discovery Kit that explains in detailshow to interact between TouchGFX thread and other threads via intertask communication.I installed the latest TouchGFX Designer package (4.22.0) where they say that the mentionedexample can be found into folder Demos -> Board Specific Demo, but I have not found it.Can someone tell me the packages or the tools where I can find those examples? Thanks in advance to everyone will help me.

For learning (and suffering) purposes I am trying to write my own USB Driver in device mode. Right now I am just trying to successfully enumerate the device. So far I am able to read SETUP packets but when writing to EP0 (IN transfer) the requests seem to timeout at 5 seconds (seeing this through Wireshark). I am using a STM32F401CCU6 chip. For example, this is what happens when a GET_DESCRIPTOR request is made: USB URB [Source: host] [Destination: 3.0.0] URB id: 0xffff9d142a6f8900 URB type: URB_SUBMIT ('S') URB transfer type: URB_CONTROL (0x02) Endpoint: 0x80, Direction: IN Device: 0 URB bus id: 3 Device setup request: relevant ('\0') Data: not present ('<') URB sec: 1688842172 URB usec: 857980 URB status: Operation now in progress (-EINPROGRESS) (-115) URB length [bytes]: 64 Data length [bytes]: 0 [Response in: 58] Interval: 0 Start frame: 0 Copy of Transfer Flags: 0x00000200, Dir IN Number of ISO descriptors: 0 Setup Data bmRequestType: 0x80 bRequest: GE

dfu-util is an open source DFU memory reader/writer.I ported the source to Windows 10 x64.Worked fine, downloading firmware, to STM32H7B3I DISCOVERY board.Fails with STM32H7B3I EVAL board, apparently because the EVAL board identifies itself as three separate DFU devices, unfortunately with identical serial numbers:Found DFU: [0483:df11] ver=0200, devnum=62, cfg=1, intf=0, path="1-6", alt=2, name="@OTP Memory  /0x1FF7000/01*1024 e", serial="FFFFFFFEFFFF"Found DFU: [0483:df11] ver=0200, devnum=62, cfg=1, intf=0, path="1-6", alt=1, name="@Option Bytes  /0x1FF8000/01*128 e", serial="FFFFFFFEFFFF"Found DFU: [0483:df11] ver=0200, devnum=62, cfg=1, intf=0, path="1-6", alt=0, name="@Internal Flash  /0x08000000/256*02Kg", serial="FFFFFFFEFFFF"Any easy way to resolve this with dfu-util?Or do I need to "educate" dfu-util in the matter of "alt", which varies with memory region?

I need to copy text from internet to Cube IDE main.c file.I copied the text from the internet, I click in the Cube IDE context menu "paste". And nothing happens. If I copy text from Cube IDE and paste that text into Cube IDE, then the text is pasted. I tried to copy text from the Internet first to a text editor, and then to Cube IDE, but still no text is pasted. Cube IDE restarted. If I create a new Source File C and try to insert into it, then nothing is inserted into it. (If I copy something from the Internet to this Source File.) What's the matter?Nothing can be copied from Cube IDE either. I'm trying to copy text from Cube IDE and paste this text into notepad. It won't work.

Dear ST Engineers,I am planning to port this device driver to another 8 bit MCU:https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-img023.htmlMy 8 bit MCU has I2C slave address range from 0x00 to 0x7F.However, hint of that ST driver code insists on using uint16_t as I2C address, for example, typedef struct { /* To be filled with customer's platform. At least an I2C address/descriptor * needs to be added */ /* Example for most standard platform : I2C address of sensor */ uint16_t address; } VL53L5CX_Platform; How do I reconcile this conflict?  Or do I misunderstand something about ARM 32 bit architect? Please give your valuable opinions.  :cowboy_hat_face:

Hellofriends, I am trying to make a dual core example on the Wio-E5 STM32WLE5JC Module. I made all the settings as in this video.  However, only CM4 works when debugging. CM0PLUS is not working and I am getting this error Target unknown error 32Error in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: Unknown. Please check power and cabling to target. I tried this on STM32Cube ide 1.7.0 and 1.8.0.

I'm using a NUCLEO-H563ZI board with the onboard st-link, Cube IDE 1.12, on an intel mac running macos 13.4.1. What I'm observing is that when I start a debug session is that if I set a breakpoint and hit continue i'll hit the breakpoint almost instantly, but if I click step-over it can take 10 or more seconds to hit the next line of code. I launched the st-link_gdbserver from the command line and used command line arm-none-eabi-gdb and had the same behavior. If I did `b main.c:80` and then continue i'd hit the line instantly, but if I hit `u` in gdb it could take 10 or more seconds to get to the next source line. It isn't always the same source lines, sometimes a line that took 10 seconds will be instantaneous the next time you try it.I have a few coworkers reporting similar behavior.  Any Ideas? The st-link reports a 8000KHz link speed. I'm not sure where the issue is in the chain. I attached a video demonstrating the issue, sorry for the low quality I had to fit in th

Hello, I am using CUBEMX V6.9.0. However, still encountering problem that occurs during initialization from CUBEMX. Is there another solution beyond updating CubeMx or commenting those lines?

Hello,I need to map two different programs (a custom bootloader and the application) in the memory space of my STM32G0, as described in figure. The bootloader should start at power-up, then check the application CRC and eventually jump to it.Both in the bootloder and in the application, I need to remap the interrupt vector table.Where can I find some documentation to do this, in the correct way?Thank you,Carlo

The subject says it all. Am I missing something obvious? Is there a link to "My Posts".Sid

hiI am currently working on a project that utilizes the STM32H753 to acquire images through an image sensor called AR1034.However, the size of the image I am acquiring is 1280*960. Due to the large size, it is not possible to store it inside the MCU, so I want to add an external PSRAM and store it in that memory.I have completed the basic functional test of the basic image acquisition method and memory storage through DCMI, but when I put these parts together, it does not work properly when I try to save the full size of the image I want to acquire. When I researched the data, I found that the size that can be acquired at a time in DCMI is set to 65535, so the image must be divided into data, and it is said that SRAM storage is not possible at the same time, so Double Buffer must be utilized...However, I couldn't find the exact method even after searching, so I'm asking a question. If you have an example or method for this method, please answer.

All, I would like to first begin with saying thank you for your time in attempting to assist me.Library used: NFC st25r3911b LibraryI am attempting to read and write from/to a tag; more specifically a Type-2 and Type-4. I have been looking through example code which uses the same library as me and stumbled across the following code, shown in nfcDataExchange.png. I have been using the code to try and read/write from/to a tag, but I haven't had much success. Google doesn't seem to be useful for this either, since I only stumble across posts explaining the structure of a NFC Data Exchange Frame (NDEF), but from what I know T2T and T4T tags require different payload structures. So my question is, are there documents available that show how to read/write to a tag and also how to structure the tx buffer depending on the tag type? or is someone willing to explain this to me? or can someone point me in the right direction? Also, given that the example code I looked at had the code shown in the p

Hi,i want to clone my project. I did the following steps:1) Edit > Copy.2) Edit > Paste.3) Rename the ioc files.4) Delete the Debug.launch file.5) Project > Clean.the next step is to generate the CubeMX. But when I try to open the .ioc file this error message occurs:Invalid Input: Must be project's active .ioc file.can anybody help me please?
