I'm pretty sure that this is not implemented yet, but it would be extremely helpful to do so. I want to write the variables through the live expressions tab in the debugging mode, like I'm used to do in the IAR EW.If this option is already available and functioning let me know.

Hello everyone!I use the Quad SPI flash of stm32 h750. I write data at a certain address through commands, such as address 0. But after configuring the memory mapping mode, I check that the data at address 0x90000000 is 0x88, while my data is at 0x90000001.more info:Use Keil MDK software My operation:1.Config Quad SPI2.Write data (0xAB) to address 03.Read data in addre 0 (success)4.Set memory mapped mode5.Read data in 0x90000000, data is 0x88(error)I have two questions：1.After I write data to  address, in the memory mapping mode, the data is at address +1（byte）, is this normal?2.Why can't the operation reach address 0？Seems to be caused by problem 1Thanks!My code: void QUADSPI_Init(void) { /* QUADSPI parameter configuration*/ stQSpi.Instance = QUADSPI; stQSpi.Init.ClockPrescaler = 1; stQSpi.Init.FifoThreshold = 4; stQSpi.Init.SampleShifting = QSPI_SAMPLE_SHIFTING_HALFCYCLE; stQSpi.Init.FlashSize = POSITION_VAL(0X100000)-1; stQSpi.Init.ChipSelectHighTime = QSPI

Hello, I have some doubt on part number L9942XP1TR. What the meaning for letter "RR" on top mark. Can you provide some parts mark information? Thanks Man

Dear everyone,I'm trying to manage a DC motor with IC controller in PWM.My frequency have been calculated for have 12bits resolutions (Fclk :72Mhz > Fpwm17.5Khz). TIM2->CCR1 = 30; HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim2, TIM_CHANNEL_1); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, MA_SENS_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, MA_SLEEP_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); The desired frequency is good, but i'm not able to have the resolution.I thinks, my DutyCycle command is not right but no idea to do different.Do you have an idea ?

Hello,I am having issues with my acceleration data being output from my LSM303AHTR. I have configured it for 2G Full scale making the "sensitivity" 0.061mg/lsb.I have tested two LSM303AH chips on two of our custom PCBs. I am getting similar results on both chips, but I am not getting the same exact values on both chips.I evaluated all axis at +Gravity, -Gravity, and 0 Gravity. All of the expected 0 Gravity values are being seen, however, I am getting less than 90 degrees for positive and negative 1G positions.My method for obtaining degrees from counts follows. I believe it is correct because it works for other projects' accelerometers:Register Value * Sensitivity = mgG = mg*1000arcsin(G)We can abstract out my method for obtaining degrees and just focus on counts. The issue still remains. When I am reading an axis that has full gravity exposure, I should be getting +/- 16,383 counts.For X +1G I am getting -16,900 counts, which converts to 90 degrees, but this is slightly off scale.For

Hi amazing community.. I am working with stm32f429 and hal.I have to generate a clock signal of 800 khz and duty cycle of 50% in a specific pin PC2I cannot change pin since the hw is blocked and fixed.. The only way is to create it by using a delay ? Is it correct in this way ?  #include "stm32f4xx_hal.h" GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct; void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); void delay_us(uint32_t us); int main(void) { HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); while (1) { // Toggle PC2 HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOC, GPIO_PIN_2); // Delay to approximate the desired frequency delay_us(625); } } void SystemClock_Config(void) { // Same as before, no changes required } static void MX_GPIO_Init(void) { __HAL_RCC_GPIOC_CLK_ENABLE(); GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_2; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_LOW; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOC,

Hi all,I am using a Nucleo  F334R8 STM32Cube FW_F3  V1.11.4I am trying to configure it as a slave device using interrupts , I am using HAL_I2C_AddrCallback()then it checks if dirrection == I2C_DIRECTION_TRANSMIT and HAL_I2C_Slave_Seq_Receive_IT() works fine.Problem comes when other direction is triggered , for some reason the first byte when using HAL_I2C_Slave_Seq_Transmit_IT() is always 0xFF ,which does not happen when using the drivers in polling mode. I tried passing different values to XferOptions parameter with same result. thanks in advance for your help. I am attaching code and  logic analyzer captures.

Hi, I have been working on a project where i use st25r3918. However, I could not make it work. I have checked my hardware by using other boards and it looks like it is working. For sorftware, I have tried using st25r3911's library and have changes accordingly. I have also tried to make my own library and both did not work. I have also tried to check what is wrong with locig analizor and oscillator. I cannot even read id registor (with or without declaring some registors first). What can be the problem with stm32g0 and st25r3918 communicating?

Hi FolksI have few question about HTTP server  if someone here in the started playing with it.As i have plenty of flash on the MCU i opted to store a simple html page directly on the mcu flash memory (like done with mkfsdata.exe on LWIP).Streaming out the payload is not a problem however seems i can't generate the correct http headers.For streaming out data i do :   if ( strcmp( resource , "/jquery_3.6.0.min.js") == 0 ) { size_t i = 0; size_t size_html = sizeof(data__jquery_3_6_0_min_js); size_t send_size = 0 ; while ( size_html != 0) { if ( size_html < 512 ) send_size = size_html; else send_size = 512; nx_web_http_server_callback_data_send(server_ptr, (void*)&data__jquery_3_6_0_min_js[i], send_size ); size_html -= send_size; i+=send_size; } return(NX_WEB_HTTP_CALLBACK_COMPLETED);  I tried the approach of sending the payload by calling the _nxe_packet_data_append and then the nx_web_http_server_callback_packet_send&nb

Hi I am looking for a schematic of the NUCLEO L053R8 board. Where can I find it?

STM32L476JGY6TR enters to Bootloader during -40°C Temperature test, once the temperature decreases to -25°C the MCU operation is normal. I have even added PD to Boot0 pin, even the results are same. I don't find any problem during positive temperature tests, the MCU operation is normal.

I am developing a BLE product using the stm32wb and have it working as a peripheral/server.  I need to add the ability to work as a central also and am following the BLE_p2pRouteur example in STM32CubeWB/Projects/P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo/Applications/BLE/BLE_p2pRouteur.   The device I want to connect to as a central is another of our products in development and uses a different MCU/BLE stack.   This device is also working as a peripheral and can connect and pair using Windows, macOS, iOS, and linux.After connecting to the peripheral, querying the services, and querying the characteristics of the services to get all the handles needed, I try to enable notifications on the characteristic normally used for commands using aci_gatt_write_char_desc() with a 2-byte attribute value set to 0x0001.   The stm32wb BLE stack is returning ACI_GATT_ERROR_RESP_VSEVT_CODE with Req_Opcode set to 0x12 and Error_Code set to 0x0e (unlikely error).  I am certain that

Hi guys, I'm hoping to find a wizard at FatFS who can help me. So my current set up is, stm32f446re microcontroller, with this micro SD card adapter, I have two SD cards at my disposal, a 2GB Sandisk card and a 16GB Samsung SDHC card. Both cards have been formatted to FAT/FAT32. Communication through SPI.I have followed this tutorial by controllerstech, however the tutorial uses FatFs version R0.11 whereas my version of STM32CubeIde has version R0.12c.So after adding the file "fatfs_sd.c" to my source folder (as the tutorial requires), and modifying the Chip Select pin to match my project, I added the sample code to test reading/writing a simple text file. However, the first instruction is to mount the drive, modifying the sample code to this:<< fresult = f_mount(&fs, "", 1); >>I get the result FR_NO_FILESYSTEM stored in fresult. After debugging, the initialisation works correctly, but when find_volume() function gets called, which in turn calls check_fs() function (loa

On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, I attended the "STM32C0: Your next generation 8-bit MCU is a 32-bit" workshop where we were told we would be sent the slides and a voucher to order the STM32C0 nucleo board for free, but I have not yet received any email containing this information.

Hello all,We are trying to connect STM32WB with phone using BLE. We have based our code on the Hearth rate example given by ST. We have installed LightBlue on smartphone and now we try to connect with the device. On LightBlue, we can see that the device becomes connected and then disconnect immediately. The pairing status return Failed with reason AUTH_REQ_CANNOT_BE_MET. We have already tried to remove all bonding devices, and call aci_gap_clear_security_db() before connecting. The authentification requirement are as following :Bonding_Mode : 1MITM_Mode : 0SC_Support : 2KeyPress_Notification_Support : 0Min_Encryption_Key_Size : 1Max_Encryption_Key_Size : 16Use_Fixed_Pin : 0Fixed_Pin : 111111Identity_Address_Type : 0What about this authentification error ? What does it mean exactly ?Best regards,Audrey

Apparently in v2.8 TF-A the RCC device tree block changed significantly for the STM32MP157CAAx board as this commit shows:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/arm-trusted-firmware/commit/3cf2edd6b87ca5c131108c533761d26cb0539d5eSo old device trees from v2.6 will not work anymore. We need to be able to generate device trees for v2.8, when will STM32CubeMX be able to generate those? Can you help us @Olivier GALLIEN ?

Hello,does it exist a compiler and a linker manual for STM32, where I can find, for example, a clear description of the usage of the __attribute__() keyword, or instructions to modify the linker script file?Thank you,Carlo

I have a simple question. How to "attach" external interrupt to pin "selected" as Alternate Function of some peripheral in CubeMX. For example:I set PA8 as TIM4_ETR signal. Then i want to add external interrupt on the same pin. How to do that in CubeMX ? Thanks.

Hi, Lot of people had this issue, nothing worked for me and I think it might be a newbie mistake. I'm trying to communicate in USB between my PC (host) and a stm32f429ZI board (device). The size of the heap shouldn't be an issue as it seem like the memory allocation for the header is static. But I still tried to increase it to 0x2000. I also tried to change the PC and the stm32f429zi board. No success.Here are the schematics for the USB pins of this board.  I measured:VCC 5.1VD- 0VD+ 2.9VID 0VGND 0VI tried to activate the VBUS as well even if my power source is from the PC and that I get the 5V on VCC, no improvement My STMcube settings and clock:Usb device is activated and set to Communication device classMy windows driver is this one:  The MX_USB_DEVICE_Init() function runs with no problemAny lead?Thanks

Hi all,I'm new in programming STM32U585AI.Bought the STEVAL-WINBOX1 and as first step tried to have working USB CDC.Since didn't find code example in STM32CubeIDE for this specific dev kit, create a new new project based on example Ux_Device_CDC_ACM for board NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q.Code is running successful in WINBOX1 however, PC doesn't recognised CDC device.All project is in https://github.com/adeuga/stm_USB Thank you for any help.

Hi all,I probably found a bug in the Control Stage - Analog Input and Protection.Choosing a gain higher than 16 doesn't change the gain (32 and 64). The gain changes properly if a gain between 2 and 16 is selected.Best,Alessandro

I am 100% sure I replied to this thread:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcu-products/do-not-use-hal-spi-transmit-for-high-performance-dma-may-not-be/m-p/570578#M217483As evidence, I am "subscribed" to it and get notified of new posts, which happens only if you reply, or if you click the subscribe button which I never do.However, when I go to that page, I don't see my contribution anywhere in that thread. Am I missing something? Do replies get eaten occasionally?@waclawek.jan Any ideas or similar experiences?

Hello all,I am using LIS2DW12 accelerometer for single-tap and double-tap detection. I also want to use the wake-up interrupt simultaneously, but when both these interrupts are enabled, double-tap and single-tap are occasionally missed because both the wake-up interrupt and tap interrupts are routed to the same pin(INT1) and the wake-up threshold is low.Is  there any way in which I can route either the tap interrupt or the wake up interrupt to INT2 pin ?I am aware that we can route INT2 interrupts to INT1 but can it be done the other way around?Thank You

HelloI attended the online "STM32H5: Ultimate combination of performance, integration and affordability" workshop on Tuesday 20th June. I've not received any email with the links to the workshop, slides and so on. Also was told to receive a free dev board STM32H563ZIT6 but nothing yet. Please, could this be checked? Thanks in advance.
