Solved

I'm looking for M7 core in UFBGA169 Package with 3 ADC units.According to "Analog" part of table devices like H747AI, H753AI, H757AI have no ADC!The same problem exists in Cube Target selector: when I move "ADC Total (converters) to "1" or more, then STM757AI disappears from results.According to Reference Manual RM0399 Rev 3, there are 3 ADC instances.My dear ST, dont you want to sell them?

I'm testing i2c4 on STM32H750B-DK board with DS3231 but I think that i2c4 peripheral is not worked as i expected.1. CubeMX settings - Only set SYS, RCC(HSE-Crsystal/Ceramic Resonator), USART3(115200 bps), I2C4(PD12: I2C4_SCL, PD13: I2C4_SDA)) after clear pinouts2. CubeIDE- After generating project from CubeMX, I worte below test code in main.cuint8_t data; uint16_t addr; HAL_StatusTypeDef err; printf("I2C bus Scanning...\r\n"); printf("==========================================================================\r\n"); for(addr = 0; addr < 0x80; addr++) { printf("%02X", addr); err = HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(&hi2c4, addr, 3, 100); if(err == HAL_OK) { printf(":found", addr); }else { printf(":%d", err); } printf( (addr%8)==7 ? "\r\n":" "); }the result looks like abonamal. because DS3231 slave address is 0x57 but not found. and too many devices are detected. As i know Only 2 devices used i2c interface on this board.==============================================

I am working to get one F767ZI board (master) to send 1 byte to a second F767ZI (slave).  I'm using 4k external pull-up resistors on SDA and SCL.  I am trapping errors in the master and they are:After the following code on the master I get "Error 32".ret = HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(&hi2c1, 30,1, 1000);if ( ret != HAL_OK) {  uint32_t error_code = HAL_I2C_GetError(&hi2c1);   printf("Error %d\r\n", error_code);  }  Then, after the following code on the master I get "Error 4".ret = HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, 30, TX_Buffer, 1, 1000); //up to 1 second to try and sendif ( ret != HAL_OK) { uint32_t error_code = HAL_I2C_GetError(&hi2c1);  printf("Error %d\r\n", error_code); }Since this is my first time ever trying I2C, I'm sure I'm addressing something wrong or some other simple error.I can't find anything in the HAL/LL reference to tell me what those error codes mean.thank you, russp.s.  My master F767 spits prin

HelloI am using NUCLEO-F746ZG. SPI1 and ETH are set with CubeMX and programmed with EWARM.SPI1 will not work if there is an ETH setting ”MX_ETH_Init();”. Do you know the reason?

Is there a way to view only posts which have no replies?The old site allowed this. The functionality is helpful to prevent posts falling through the cracks. Currently, if a post is 2 days old and is unanswered, it's really hard to find it. Right now, I know there is a post I want to reply to, but it's quite a chore to go back and find it given the sparse layout, so I just gave up.If I'm gone for a few days or months, I pretty much ignore posts which have already been replied to, but will look through unanswered ones.Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see it in the options anywhere.

Hello there.In my project, I am using LWIP with FreeRTOS at CMSISv1 and static memory allocation (configSUPPORT_STATIC_ALLOCATION = 1, configSUPPORT_DYNAMIC_ALLOCATION = 0). Is this a supported configuration? When I generate code, LWIP/Target/ethernetif.c:low_level_init contains calls to xSemaphoreCreateBinary(), which is defined only when dynamic allocation is enabled. Is this a known bug? If so, what is a workaround that I can use? Buildable code would have calls to xSemaphoreCreateBinaryStatic() instead. Right now, I am unable to fix the code in such a way that the changes will not be wiped out by the next CubeMX code generation, as the code is not within a USER CODE section. For reference, I am using a STM32H743BITx MCU, V1.10 firmware package and STM32CubeMX version 6.6.1. If this is an issue that has been resolved in a higher version, please let me know.Thank you!

HiDoes the STM32F411ceu6 include an FSMC controller?Thanks

I am attempting to demodulate fm0 modulated signal which is received via gpio on stm32f401re.What should be the approach to this demodulation? please enumerate the steps i can follow. (ps. ~ the symbol period of fm0 modulated data is 4us)Some insights to this problem would be much appreciated...:smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:

On Windows 10, I just updated (again) to the 1.4.2 version, hoping to solve this issue, yet nothing changed.Already tried a clean install (again) and re-installed the latest STM32CubeProgrammer: nothing changed.Will ST handle this sooner or later please? Or at least give some help in diagnosing the problem? Thanks

Hi   How to calculate k factor in VND7050AJ High side driver for current measurement?Regards,Nandish Jasani.

Hello Community,We are designing a simply cost sensitive Temperature sensing solution using low-cost Linear Thermistors TMP61Q1 from TI, and wish to use the internal ADCs on STM32G474RCT3 MCUs, this is an LQFP64 package with a dedicated VREF Buffer Pin which can drive output loads at 2.048V, 2.5V, 2.9V with 6.5mA.We wish to understand in detail, can we use this VREF BUFF pin and add an external voltage reference of say 1V & then reduce the ADC input voltage swing to 0-1V for the entire 12-bit dynamic range?Or can we set the VREF Buffer to 2.048V & use the ADC with VREF Internal channel such that the ADC Voltage swing becomes 0 to 2.048V for entire 12-bit range?Or can we simply supply VDDA 1V & keep the ADC maximum voltage swing between 0 to 1V for the entire 12-bit resolution? Kindly guide us with this use case, as the sensor output has a limited voltage swing & using a non-inverting amplifier is not a feasible option cost-wise.Both I & my team are fairly new t

Hi.I am using STM32G070RB.I need to sequentially receive values from 5 channels using ADC DMA.If normal circumstances, the ADC data of PA0 should be stored in Array[0] and the ADC data of PA1 should be stored in Array[1].However, currently experiencing a bug where PB0's ADC data is stored in Array[0], and PA0's ADC data is stored in Array[1].PB0's ADC data is a variable value, and the ADC data of other pins is a fixed value.PB0's ADC data should come out with continuously changing values in the array[4].Can you give me some advice where i made a mistake? main.c void ADC_DMA_TC_Callback() { asm("nop"); } int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN

Greetings,I am writing here because I am out of solution for making the F401CC RTC use the reference clock detection feature to correct its timing. Everything in the RTC is working fine in my application, except for that feature. I use a STM32F401CCU6 (UQFN48 package) on a Black Pill board.To verify whether the RTC is syncing off the external reference, I compare the RTC 1 Hz calibration output (pin PC13) to the 60 Hz (pin PB15) on an oscilloscope triggered by the 1 Hz. I cannot see any alignment effort whatsoever between the two signals. All I see is the frequency offset between the 32KHz resonator (LSE clock) and the 60 Hz reference, a slow drift of the 60 Hz signal on the screen. BTW, I use a lab-grade function generator to provide the 60 Hz (HP 33120A).I use the STM32RTC library to get going, but then apply changes directly into the RTC registers to setup for, and enable the RTC reference clock detection, a feature not covered in the library. Here is the part of my Arduino code tha

Hello everyone,I use CubeIDE. I have a question about this IDE on the example of STM32F103xx.File "stm32f1xx.h" contains macros: SET_BIT, CLEAR_BIT, READ_BIT, MODIFY_REG and others.Why doesn't the CubeIDE provide hints when using macros?For example: GPIOC-> (dropdown list will open BRR, BSRR, CRL, CRH and others).But if you use the macros, for example: SET_BIT(GPIOC-> hints and suggestions not working).Tell me, please, how to fix this?Best Regards.Symeon Zapsis

Hello, I would like to know what possibilities the STEVAL-MKI109V3 has for connecting to other motherboards. From what I understand, this board (STEVAL-MKI109V3) is used a bridge between a sensor, for example, the LSM6DSOX, and a PC, but I would like to know if it can also be used as a bridge between the sensor and another motherboard in order to develop, for example, a solution involving IoT.

Hi,I was wondering what is the purpose of the API HAL_FLASH_Program_IT(..) provided by CubeMX (based on NUCLEO-F746ZG but seems to be widely the same for other MCU references..).As it allows to write a single value at a time it seems useless to attempt writing data by interruption; Prefer polling API HAL_FLASH_Program(..) instead.Also I expected to use interruption callback to chain multiple value writing, But the current logic from CubeMX code is not able to work like this (erroneous logic to unlock next write directly inside the interruption callback HAL_FLASH_EndOfOperationCallback(..) ).Specially, I know that some of STM32 MCUs embed a dual bank memory to avoid blocking an application, and it could be particularly useful to let writing some flash data by interruption while the application is still running...So I was wondering what is the real purpose of this interrupt API? Because I currently don't imagine another way to use it...Note: erasing flash memory APIs offer possibility to

      In the block diagram of SPI ,There were 2 FIFOs (Rx and Tx) but only one shift register . In case of Full- duplex communication simultaneous transmission and reception will happen. How one shift register handles both transmitting and recieving??

I am using STM32C031C6 for I2C verification.I tried to communicate 2050 bytes of data using the HAL driver.However, it did not receive the correct data.To be precise, the data at 512,1024,1344,1346,1538,18561 and 1858 bytes were different.The settings are as follows.hi2c1.Instance = I2C1;hi2c1.Init.Timing = 0x0090194B;hi2c1.Init.OwnAddress1 = 0x10;hi2c1.Init.AddressingMode = I2C_ADDRESSINGMODE_7BIT;hi2c1.Init.DualAddressMode = I2C_DUALADDRESS_DISABLE;hi2c1.Init.OwnAddress2 = 0;hi2c1.Init.OwnAddress2Masks = I2C_OA2_NOMASK;hi2c1.Init.GeneralCallMode = I2C_GENERALCALL_DISABLE;hi2c1.Init.NoStretchMode = I2C_NOSTRETCH_DISABLE;Executed with the following description."HAL_I2C_Master_Receive(&hi2c1, dev_addr, i2c_read, 2050, 1000);"Please let me know how I can receive 2050 bytes of data correctly.

Hello,I want to read the BORRSTF value to detect the previous reset situation during the start process. but BORRSTF always reports '1'.BORRSTF can be clear with RMVF, but there is a problem that makes it impossible to tell whether it is an initial start or a after brown out reset.I tried the following:Check ramp-up time problem of power supply. - but I didn't find anything strange.Increase capacitance of the reset pin for the longer reset delay. - I've increased it from 0.1 uf to 4.7 uF, but problem is not solved.I looked for similar cases, but I couldn't find the same one... Is there a problem with my design?Attached power and reset circuit diagram I designed. thanks.p.s I've found the same thing on STM32F407VGT-based PCB before year. I didn't take it seriously then, but now I want to know why.

Hello,I am currently utilizing the LSM6DSV16x kit alongside an MKI109V3 evaluation board and UNICO-GUI. I am wondering if there is a way to use UNICO-GUI with wireless communication, as I need to gather data. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have Nucleo-H563ZI board and I'm trying to power it through external 5V source (E5V). When I connect the 5V power source and set PWR SEL jumper (JP2) to E5V, I can see the power LED (LD5) light up and even the ethernet controller seems to be active. But the firmware on MCU does not seem to start until I power on the on-board ST-Link through USB. After that, I can disconnect the USB and it still works.

Hello,It's my first question i'm new to STM32.I use Win 11 and a Nucleo F303ZE (and a Nucleo F303RE, same problem), and y i need to use the virtual com port on the STM32 F303.So, I try to enable the Virtual com port on the Nucleo F303ZE on th 2nd USB port (CN13) which is connect to PA11 and PA12.the USB_DEVICE config on STM32Cube IDE:The USB setting:Normally, it's ok. But, if i plug a (tested) USB cable on CN13 (which is plug to PA11 & PA12), or not, nothing happend on window. I see a Virtual Port COm, but it's the ST LINK. I do something wrong?I see the video :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9T0RTu9Muc&list=PLnMKNibPkDnFFRBVD206EfnnHhQZI4Hxa&index=11But it doesn't help me.Thanks in advance,Guillaume

When looking at a chart of integrated single-axis gyro data with a completely stationary sensor, I noticed that there are fairly large jumps once in a while.Since this doesn't look like brownian motion with normally distributed steps, I plotted a histogram of the raw gyro data and got the following:In the center seems to be an expected almost-normal distribution of sensor noise with a bias in the expected range. However, there are strange secondary peaks at around ±220. What could be the cause of such a strange noise distribution?PS: The gyro was run at FS=±250dps / 8.75dps/lsb and 1666Hz

In the System View Description file STM32WLE5_CM4.svd it says; <fpuPresent>true</fpuPresent> But the datasheet doesn't mention any FPU, the MCU Selector on st.com has a dash "-" for FPU column , and ARM docs about Cortex-M4 says that FPU is optional.So, is there an FPU or not in STM32WLE5 (and STM32WL55, as there the SVD says the M4 has an FPU but the M0 doesn't)?

Hi everyonei worked fine with MB116-A03 display and now i have the same problem with A09 display. I made the changes available on github:- created the new component nt35510 with the three files (.h .c .html)- and made changes to 4 files: stm32f769i_discovery_lcd (.c and .h) stm32f769i_discovery (.c and .h).However the display still does not work. But are there other changes to be made? It says to enable the correct hardware target, but where can I do that?In the stm32f769i_discovery.h file I have already reported the lines:#if !defined(USE_STM32F769I_DISCO) && \!defined(USE_STM32F769I_DISCO_REVB03)#define USE_STM32F769I_DISCOThanks to anyone who can give me directions.
