With the ST25R3916, how can filtering of the 3rd harmonic (40.5 MHz) be improved? Following the procedure outlined in AN5276, a matching network was made. Performance of the device was verified, and emissions in the 13.56 MHz band are within FCC limits. However, the 3rd harmonic is above acceptable levels. Measurements with a near field probe on the tag show similar levels of the 3rd harmonic in the device I am using and the NUCLEO-NFC06A1 test board.Changes that have attempted but did result in changes to the measured field on a near field probe:Changing the cutoff frequency of the EMC filter (11 MHz, 13.8MHz, 15.5 MHz)Changing the damping resistorChanging the driver resistanceChanging regulator voltageAre there other recommended approaches to reduce this harmonic?

1.  If in RDP Level 1, can the SRAM be read?2.  If starting in RDP Level 1 and transitioning to RDP Level 0, is the SRAM erased?3.  Can the contents of SRAM be readout after the transition from RDP Level 1 to RDP Level 0? Thanks.

I am using STM32G050 and I also tried with STM32L476. I am transmitting data as an I2C Slave using STM-HAL. However, when I use HAL_I2C_EnableListen_IT, the transmission is an error. I can't read values and see the logic analyzer. HAL_I2C_DisableListen_IT allows successful data transmission. I am trying to understand the underlying reasons for this behavior. Why I can't transmit values?uint8_t packed1[10] = { 0xAA, 0x01, 0x07, 0x01, 0x12, 0x55, 0x12, 0x01, 0xAA, 0x2B };uint8_t packed2[10] = { 0xBB, 0x01, 0x07, 0x01, 0x12, 0x55, 0x12, 0x01, 0xAA, 0x2B };HAL_I2C_EnableListen_IT(&hi2c2);HAL_I2C_Slave_Transmit(&hi2c2, packed1, 10, HAL_MAX_DELAY);HAL_Delay(300);HAL_I2C_DisableListen_IT(&hi2c2);HAL_I2C_Slave_Transmit(&hi2c2, packed2, 10, HAL_MAX_DELAY);HAL_Delay(300);

Answers to other ones posts are placed directly under the posts. This is unusual to most other forums. I dont know if i like it or not. But at least should be clearly(!) visible, that this is an answer. Use an indentation? Also its kinda confusing to have a solution to appear twice in the thread.There are so many things a developer has to read through. Please dont make it harder with a confusing forum.

I open project which was created with CubeMX in version 6.8.0 and get pop-up window:I click continue and project opens but when I just save project even without changing anyting Cube version for the project changes to 6.10.0.I can see the change in .ioc file immediately:How can prevent CubeMX from changing version?

Hi, I am using MKI109V3 as motherboard and MKI239A as IMU adapter. My Unico version is 9.16. Following UM2116, I tried everything in Windows 10, including firmware upgrade to 3.58.2 (latest), and all data display works fine in Unico.After that, I wanted to check if Unico also works in Linux as suggested in UM1049. I installed it in Ubuntu 18.04 and used "sudo chmod 666 /dev/ttyACM0" to open the serial port. I double checked and am sure that ttyACM0 is the relevant one for USB connection of motherboard.However, after opening the port in terminal and choosing MKI239A in Unico GUI, another error message shows that "COMMUNICATION ERROR! Please reconnect the board and click 'OK'". I am confused and was wondering what I should do for troubleshooting... Maybe I missed some settings?Thanks!

Hello dearIt would be very nice to give us a simple example to explain all your codes to order to change a widget on a screen.You tellus to use "TouchGFX HAL Development" in your example gpio https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/board-bring-up/example-gpio/ but where is it possible to put it?Thank you for you aid.Roger

 In the STM32H573-DK BOARD,How to store the public and private key in secure part ?

Please let me know if normal USB cable can be used to connect to STM32F769I-EVAL board, load and debug the code or do we need to connect any other cable only for debugging purpose. Please reply with details.Thanks,

Hi,   I have a firmware runing on STM32F405RGT6 whith is reloacted at 0x800C000 and is called by a bootloader. The problem is if I enable UART DMA, the program will be interrupted by non stopping DMA interrupt immediately. However, there is no stream data in the UART port.  The same code work well if it run without a bootloader, ie start 0x8000000.   This is weird , it seems the UART DMA HAL driver is not relocation compatible. Could anyone know me why or provide some possible cause ? Thanks.  Martin

For starting with development on SPC56ELxx what I need is:the discovery board : https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/evaluation-tools/product-evaluation-tools/mcu-mpu-eval-tools/spc5-automotive-mcu-eval-tools/spc56l-discovery.htmlSPC5 Studiohttps://www.digikey.com/products/en?WT.z_cid=sp_497_0928_buynow&Enterprise=44&lang=en&Vendor=497&mpart=SPC5-UDEDEBGhttps://www.digikey.com/products/en?WT.z_cid=sp_497_0928_buynow&Enterprise=44&lang=en&Vendor=497&mpart=SPC5-UDESTK-PLUSBetween 3 and 4 is not clear for me if one is the hardware debugger and one is the license, so I have to buy both, or one of the two is sufficient. Thanx

Hello,I'm using STM32F410 for ADC in which i have configured two channels means two conversions.For IN7 channel the input voltage is 1.89V and for IN8 input voltage is 2.0v(This channel we have connected trimpot voltage can varied ) Please  check the configuration snap attached. when we configure  IN8 channel alone the conversion is happening properly  as per the input voltage(single conversion).the problem is when we configure both channel at a time for both channel conversion if EOC Is set for single conversion means both channel value are coming same with same configuration if we set the EOC after all channel conversion both channel values are drifting drastically.please guide me what is problem and what are parameter to consider while using multi channel Please  check the configuration snap attached. 12bit ADC clock freq = 6.25MHZThis is program please check and correct where i'm doing wrong

I have an application that requires 3 BLDC motors and I was wondering if I could use a single STM32 micro to run all three motors using the MC software library to interface to the hardware drivers of each motor.

Hello Experts, I designed my custom board with reference to AN5419 application note (Getting started with STM32H723/733, STM32H725/735 and STM32H730 Value Line hardware development). but it doesn't work.When i apply to power to the board and connect it to ST-Link utility, Program is displayed "can not connect to target". I'm a newbie about circuit design. so i referenced the application notes but I am not sure if it's designed properly.I simply want to use GPIO port and communications.Please let me know what i can check. Sincerely,SH.

The Issue When my bootloader jumps to the application all `AES_ECB_Encrypt_XXX` incorrectly encrypt/decrypt the data. Once the application fails to initialize too many times it will reboot due to watchdog and the ncrypt/decrypt will continue to fail in the bootloader although it was working before it jumped to the application.BackgroundI am using the STMCryptoLib_V4.1.0 in my bootloader and application.I am using the legacy_v3 APIs. As our code was originally written with the V3 library.The module in question is `AES_ECB_Encrypt_xxx`.The bootloader uses the modules successfully but after it jumps to the application it fails to encrypt/decrypt.The CRC clock is not disable prior to the bootloader jumping to the application.The CRC clock is enable on board bring up for each applications as follows..  __HAL_RCC_CRC_FORCE_RESET(); __HAL_RCC_CRC_RELEASE_RESET(); __HAL_RCC_CRC_CLK_ENABLE();   The library is not failing it's just not encrypt/de

I've set up the development environment for an STM32MP157F-DK2 kit including STM32CubeIDE. I'm following instructions to create a new application to run on the A7 under Linux, and CubeIDE cannot find the OpenSTLinux plugin. So I followed the instructions on the 'How to Install the Yocto Project SDK in STM32CubeIDE' wiki page  (https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_install_the_Yocto_Project_SDK_in_STM32CubeIDE), but it never finds the default OpenSTLinux:Unable to locate OpenSTLinux version 'openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23.06.21', choose continue to point to an existing SDK location and install sources plugin?Would someone please point me in the right direction? Did I forget to install something?Bryan

Hii, I installed the new version of the IDE 14.1.0, my operating system is macOS Sanoma 14.3. It installed normally, it created a new workspace for me, but when I want to import my projects the program closes, a summary of the system appears to send to Apple and it starts again. I tried using the workspace I had and when I want to open a project or generate a new project it does the same thing again. Does anyone know what the problem could be and its solution. Thank you.Best Regards

Hi all,My aim is to develop an iPhone app with UIKit inXcode using CoreNFC to communicate to a ISO/IEC 15693tag. In particular, to communicate to a ST25DV64K type 5 tag.The data exchange between iPhone and tag is done by usingST25DV64K its fast transfer mode mailbox.In RF, mailbox is read and written via a dedicated (Fast) Read/Write Message commands.Infrastructure:MacBook Air M1 2020 macOS Sonoma 14.0iPhone 14 Pro Max iOs 17.0.3Xcode 15.0 Under UIKit I am able to use the CoreNFC framework and thecustomCommand() function to read and write the ST25 tag - itsworking well. But I have two basic questions:1)I try to establish a handshake procedure to exchange databetween the iPhone and the NFC tag.This procedure is well described in ST-AN4910:1. RF put message2. Host detect event3. Host get message4. RF poll for message being read by host5. Repeat from step 1 until all data are transmitted1, 2 and 3 are easy done and are already implementedsuccessful. Currently I struggle with 4,

Hi, I'm programming an STM32F030C8T6 MCU. When I attempt to upload my code, it gives me an error: "Could not halt device (19)". I noticed that this only happens when ADC is enabled from CubeMX. When I disable it, everything works fine. The code doesn't even use it. It is only when I have enabled ADC in the .ioc file in my project directory in STM32CubeIDE. I need ADC for my project. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?Thanks.

Hello,I wonder if someone has knowledge about any difference in how variables are initialized and handled when launching an application from CubeIde vs starting up the MCU.My case: I use a STM32H7 and the application runs regularly when I launch it from CubeIde, no matter whether it is normal or debug mode. I can even reset the MCU, it restarts regularly.However, after I power cycle it, the application gets stuck somewhere and don't know how to debug that because obviously connection to debugger is lost. Resetting doesn't help. I suspect a memory leakage or incorrect use of uninitialized variable.Any suggestion? Thanks!

Hi all,I'm encountering a strange behaviour of STM32CubeMX: from some point on, every time I update the IOC file the generated code is missing the FDCAN function name HAL_FDCAN_GetRxMessage.Obviously this results in a build error; the function declaration in driver file stm32g4xx_hal_fdcan.h is correct:HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_FDCAN_GetRxMessage(FDCAN_HandleTypeDef *hfdcan, uint32_t RxLocation, FDCAN_RxHeaderTypeDef *pRxHeader, uint8_t *pRxData);While in stm32g4xx_hal_fdcan.c function name is missing:HAL_StatusTypeDef (FDCAN_HandleTypeDef *hfdcan, uint32_t RxLocation, FDCAN_RxHeaderTypeDef *pRxHeader, uint8_t *pRxData){ uint32_t *RxAddress; uint8_t *pData; uint32_t ByteCounter; uint32_t GetIndex; HAL_FDCAN_StateTypeDef state = hfdcan->State; //... other code}So I add manually the function name in .c file and everything works, but the next time I generate the code the function name will be deleted again.Is there a way to avoid this or maybe can it be a CubeMX bug?I'm usin

Hi, need support. send_msg() is a secure area message of TF-M and I am calling it in non secure area via secure_nsc API.What I am observing here is that I am not able to call this function in _tx_initialize_kernel_enter() function after the call to TX_PORT_SPECIFIC_PRE_INITIALIZATION. Just to mention this experiment is happening from STM32U585 board. Below is the code snippet for this.   VOID _tx_initialize_kernel_enter(VOID){ /* Determine if the compiler has pre-initialized ThreadX. */if (_tx_thread_system_state != TX_INITIALIZE_ALMOST_DONE){/* No, the initialization still needs to take place. */ /* Ensure that the system state variable is set to indicateinitialization is in progress. Note that this variable islater used to represent interrupt nesting. */_tx_thread_system_state = TX_INITIALIZE_IN_PROGRESS;/* Call any port specific preprocessing. */TX_PORT_SPECIFIC_PRE_INITIALIZATIONsend_msg();.....}

Hello, I have a set of extended CAN ID's I need to pas the bxCAN filter. I looked at some examples where one ID is passed the filter, but could not figure out how to allow a set of ID's. If my understanding is correct the mask is used to determine which bits of the ID are important. How can I configure the filter so that I can pass a set of different ID's?These are the ID's:// 0x0CF00400 // 0x0CFD9200 // 0x18FEE500 // 0x18FEEE00 // 0x18FEEF00 // 0x18FEF200 // 0x18FEF700 // 0x18FEFC00 This is what my filter config looks like: can_fil.FilterBank = 0; can_fil.FilterMode = CAN_FILTERMODE_IDLIST; can_fil.FilterFIFOAssignment = CAN_RX_FIFO0; can_fil.FilterIdHigh = 0; can_fil.FilterIdLow = 0; can_fil.FilterMaskIdHigh = 0; can_fil.FilterMaskIdLow = 0; can_fil.FilterScale = CAN_FILTERSCALE_32BIT; can_fil.FilterActivation = ENABLE; can_fil.SlaveStartFilterBank = 13;

I am looking forward to making a flight controller using STM32H7ZGT6. But I am in confusion that can I use FTDI FT232RL to program the H7 board which is a USB to Serial Converter. Please help me out, Can I use FT232RL.Thanks.

The eval board for the VL53L5 has a GUI that displays all of the zones. Is there a similar GUI for the 53L8 eval board? I don't see one listed on the Tools and Software tab for the eval board. Or is there a way to make the L5
