Hi all,I have a project on a STM32F7 target and I work on STM32CubeIDE.How can I generate the binaries from the code ? And how can I flash the binaries in the STM32F7 (in NUCLEO-STM32F7ZG board) ?I don't want to use the "flash" button of the app, as if I was a client with only binaries of the code.Thank you for your help.Best regards

When I start uboot it says MMC: STM32 MMC: SD/MMC:0 and STM32 SD MMC: 1 but then it won't boot linux saying "No block device".  I have looked at the eval board DTS and tried to include as much relevant items as I could but am not getting any signs of life. The mmcinfo and mmc commands show nothing except the list command which just shows the same STM32 MMC: SD/MMC:0 and STM32 SD MMC: 1.    I have added cd-gpios to the sdmmc1 with the gpio active low and confirmed with the gpio command that the cd pin is low when a card is present.  Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Hi, I added TIM7 to application and configured it the same way TIM6 was. I need to use two timers for my app, code contains all the same setups for TIM6 and TIM7, except for the timer expiration counters, and I observe that the callback  void HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim)   never enters in the conditional block it contains: if ( htim == &htim7 ) { /* code block */ } the callback above is invoked when htim == &tim6. The timers setup are: Please help, I double checked all I could without finding a solution

Hello,I want to be able to perform OTA updates of nodes in a bluetooth mesh network. Therefore I want to add a service and a characteristic to the existing BLE connection between a proxy node and a smartphone/PC. Currently, only the mesh provisioning service (UUID 0x1827) is present on the STM32WB using the example program BLE_MeshLightingPRFNode for the STM32WB55.Could you please provide some guidance on how to add an additional characteristic to a BLE connection of a mesh node?I've tried to add an additional service using the functions aci_gatt_add_service(...) and aci_gatt_add_char(...) to add a characteristic. I've tested calling these functions from different places in the program flow. Calling these functions before MESH_Init(...) in Middlewares/.../mesh.c or after MESH_Init(...) both didn't work. If someone has a suggestion how to do it, I would be very grateful. Thanks

I have been working on getting my Arduino based code running using an Arduino UNO SMD and the X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 with the ST25R95.I have good communication and can enable the ISO15693 protocol. My next step is to read a tag and have implemented a SendRecv sequence of 0x0403260100. After sending the last data byte of that sequence, the processor reboots and loops this reboot every time it gets to the last data byte. I tried the example from the datasheet of 0x0403022000 and the same thing happens.I checked power and found multiple issues.  First, I noticed that the X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 board isn't completely compatible with the Arduino UNO because the 3.3V supply is tied to the IOREF pin.  On my UNO SMD, the IOREF pin is 5V and was back feeding 5V into the 3.3V regulator and pulling the whole 3.3V supply to 5V.  Thankfully the ST25R95 5V tolerant, so nothing is broken. After bending back the IOREF pin so the NFC03A1 board doesn't see it, I found out that the 3.3V supply is o

Hi all,I have a problem on my current design. My setup... .I have a mqtt client connected to a broker. I use the lwip library together with freertos STMCube provides. So it's mainly default. I have one task for sending and receiving. Now all works for a long time. No problem. But for any reason it stalls after a while unpredictably and do not come back as usual. My task is in blocking mode and my work around for now is i placed a watchdog in that task which gets invoked. But that is not they way it should be. I need some hints where to look up in code or has any one a idee?

I am currently using the STM32U575I-EV; I was able to flash the DCMI example project's code from STM32CubeU5 (Projects\STM32U575I-EV\Examples\DCMI\DCMI_ContinousCap_EmbeddedSynchMode) and I see the onboard camera's feed displaying on the LCD as expected.I wanted to measure the frame rate. To do this, I modified the behavior of LED5 (labelled LD5 on the eval kit; corresponding GPIO pin at PB7 in the CN14 header) such that each toggle represents a frame that got captured; with a logic analyzer, I count the number of edges within 1 sec and get the approx. frame rate. In the code, I comment out the main.c, BSP_LED_Off() function call, like so: int main(void) { /* init code ... */ while (1) { /* LCD and suspend/resume code ...*/ if(frame_captured != 0) { frame_captured = 0; BSP_LED_Toggle(LED5); } // else // { // BSP_LED_Off(LED5); // } } }  After doing this, the logic analyzer output showed about 7.5fps. This seems somewhat low, since the OV5640 camera's

Hello,The latest STM32CubeProgrammer (V 2.15.0) appears to be unable to program an STM32L471 microcontroller. It communicates successfully but fails with error:    Error: Operation exceeds memory limits    Error: failed to erase memoryThe hex file memory size is 781.64 KB, the micro's flash size is 1 MB.This file programs without issue with an older version of STM32CubeProgrammer (v 2.4.0).

Hello folks, I am trying to adapt my product to use the new VL53L4CD sensor, replacing another SPI distance sensor that is in use. However, I only have one I2C bus available and it is already shared with other sensors and devices, such as a FRAM. The problem arises when I modify my project in STMCubeMX, it removes the I2C HAL files, creating new instances that control the I2C peripheral. I am unsure how to address this issue, I have already implemented a good amount of code using the I2C HAL libraries and would like to maintain these implementations. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Title: Seeking Community Assistance: WiFi Initialization Issues on STM32H7B3I-DK with TouchGFX and FreeRTOS Introduction:I am currently facing challenges with initializing WiFi on the STM32H7B3I-DK board following the clock and weather example provided by STMicroelectronics. The main issue arises when attempting to initialize WiFi WIFI_Init() before starting the FreeRTOS kernel (`osKernelStart()`). This results in the program getting stuck in an infinite loop, possibly due to a semaphore-related function `wait_spi_tx_event()` defined in the `net_conf_es_wifi_spi` file. Furthermore, when trying to initialize WiFi within a task, I encounter `NET_ERROR_NO_MEMORY` errors during memory allocation (`malloc()`), even after increasing the heap size. Problem Analysis:1. Infinite Loop Issue: The program gets stuck in an infinite loop, likely due to WiFi initialization occurring before starting the TouchGFX task. This situation leads to problems with the semaphore related to SPI transmission (`sp

Hi everyone,I have an odd behaviour here. I got a STM32L496 with FreeRTOS on it. The CPU is very busy (15 task running, flash size is almost 1MB). I am using the latest STM32CubeIDE 1.14.1.Now I'd like to remove something from a std::vector, so I do the following: bool NotifierStillVal(Notification *n) { return n->stillValid() == false; } //... auto newEnd = std::remove_if(notifications.begin(), notifications.end(), NotifierStillVal); I already removed the lambda to minimise the stuff that could go wrong. Now, I obviously know that remove_if() does only resort the vector and does not actually delete something. This is why I do this afterwards: for (auto it = newEnd; it != notifications.end(); ++it) delete *it; notifications.erase(newEnd, notifications.end());  Now here is my debug test:  volatile uint16_t s1 = notifications.size(); volatile Notification *pre0 = s1 > 0 ? notifications[0] : nullptr; volatile Notification *pre1 = s1 > 1 ? notifica

Hi Community, I am encountering an unexpected white blank screen issue in my TouchGFX application after configuring the GPIO pins for OCTOSPI1 peripherals. The application was previously functioning correctly, but the problem arose after making changes related to OCTOSPI1 GPIO configuration. I am reaching out to the community to seek assistance in diagnosing and resolving this issue. Following the configuration of GPIO pins for the OCTOSPI1 peripherals, my TouchGFX application now displays a white blank screen upon starting the FreeRTOS kernel (`osKernelStart()`). This unexpected behavior indicates a problem with display initialization or rendering, potentially caused by the recent GPIO configuration changes.I am using the STM32H7B3I-DK development board and have developed a TouchGFX application with FreeRTOS. The application was functioning correctly before the OCTOSPI1 GPIO configuration changes were made.  Task Entry Code Function:```cvoid TouchGFXHAL::taskEntry(){ena

Hello, I am searching for transistor particularly MOSFETs SCTW70N120G2V spice model. Where can I find it?Thanks

Hi,I have my own hardware and would like to verify if the ST25R3916B is responding.I'm attempting to read the address 3F for the IC identity, which becomes 7F including the read mode. However, I'm not receiving any response on the MISO line. The IRQ pin is pulled up, and the SPI frequency is set to 1MHz.What could be the issue? Is there something else I should check for?Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,my goal is a bidirectional communication between two S25B3911 with active P2P mode.Currently I use two bluepill boards for the SPI connection. The final platform was not decided yet. But it is not wished to integrate a large library into the final product. The result should be a lean code.Which registers must be set with wich values to activate?Which commands must be sent?Which interrups need to be monitored?Which registers must be read for a proper timing?Does an order have to be followed for setting the registers and sending the commands?RegardsChristiane

Hello,I am a university student working for the first time with anything NFC.  I have an X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 board on a NUCLEO-L476RG, and the X-CUBE-NFC6 demo applications work fine for me.I am just getting into the RFAL, and had a question about some custom commands that are implemented on the NTP5332 from NXP (the OM2NTP5332 dev board, to be precise). The datasheet for the NTP5332 uses the custom commands WRITE_CONFIGURATION (code 0xC1) and READ_CONFIGURATION (code 0xC0) to set up the device's GPIO pins and other things, instead of the mandatory T5T commands READ SINGLE BLOCK and WRITE SINGLE BLOCK. (or their MULTIPLE block counterparts).  The datasheet section for READ CONFIGURATION is below.I am following along with NXP's application note AN11203 which goes over setting GPIOs as inputs/outputs and reading their status from the RF perspective.  I had success writing to and reading from user EEPROM using the RFAL functions rfalNfcvPollerReadSingleBlock() and rfa

Hi,I am a newbie to CubeIDE and STM32 Mcus, and have spent hours trying to make interrupt callback work on a Nucleo-STM32G070 board.First, I tried HAL_UART_TxCpltCallback for USART2, this function is not called, then I downloaded an example project TIM_TimeBase which works, but when I added the timer 3 into my test project with the same configuration as in the example project, it does not work.I must have missed something in configuration in my project. the Priority is not configurable again, the Priority is not configurable As for the Timer 3, I am a bit confused by the calculation of the prescaler in the example project, could someone clarify it to me:Actually, in system_stm32g0xx.c, it is defined as follow:uint32_t SystemCoreClock = 16000000U; RegardsChao

Curious regarding using ACI_GAP_SET_AUTHENTICATION_REQUIREMENT to change the fixed pin after already using a different pin key for a previous connection. Would that work? Any bad consequences?

Hi, I am new about dual core mcu. I have stm32h745 mcu.  I am working about inter core comminication, Firstly setting some setting on CubeMx. When I create project codes, CubeMx creat 2 openamp library for each mcu(m4/m7). After that I am trying build, and getting error like this.  Error: L6200E: Symbol OPENAMP_init_ept multiply defined (by openamp_1.o and openamp.o).  16 times geting similar error like this.  Why CubeMx create wrong library.  CubeIde working properly. (create only 1 library set)

Hello,I tried to change the board in my project from STM32G474CC to STM32G473CC. Both should be pin compatible. I've read different solutions for this in the forum but non of them work. Also the description in UM1718 chapter 11.9. When I follow the steps which are descript in this user manual I can not find the "File --> Import Project" option. I can only import from an existing project but then this project ends up in my workspace with the same mcu settings as it has in the original project. Is there an easy solution for changing pin compatible MCUs in the project?I use STM32CubeIDE version 1.5.1Best Regards,Dominic

I am developing a device that uses the ST25R95.  The end processor will be an ATTINY88 but for development purposes I am using an Arduino UNO and the X-NUCLEO development board.  I am developing the code in Arduino.  The main goal is to use the device in ISO15693 mode and read the value off of a tag.  In the future, I would like to try different protocols. I have good communication because I am able to get a good response from the Echo command and I can retrieve the IDN.However, I am not able to read the information from a tag. On boot up, I run the ECHO command to make sure I have communication, read the IDN, setup the tag protocol, then start trying to read from a tag.To set the tag protocol, I send 000202010D.Is there some way to confirm what protocol the IC is using to make sure I set it correctly? To try and read a tag, I send 000403260100.  If i don't send the first 00, I get a response of 136 which the datasheet tells me is a start of frame erro

Hi there,We are testing the ASM330LHH with the motherboard STEVAL-MKI193V1 and use Unico-GUI to collect data.  ODR was set to be 6667 Hz and easy configuration was used. The excitation was a 1kHz sin wave but the data saved using Unico-GUI showed a frequency of ~967 Hz. would really appreciate any help to trouble shoot?  Thanks
