I installed the Teseo-VIC3DA Evaluation Kit to my car and drove for about half an hour. The "sr" field of PSTMDR2 showed "system ready". Then I disconnected the antenna to test the DR mode. The accuracy of the DR seemed not good (the error was around 50 to 100 meters, and sometimes even worse). What is the typical accuracy of DR mode? Do you have a video that demonstrate the DR performance?

When I run the below code snippet, it just runs for once, however when I added semicolon as in latter code piece, it runs as expected, continously. Could you please tell me why is the difference? /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ while(!(TIM6->SR & TIM_SR_UIF)) TIM6->SR = 0; HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOD, green_Pin); *************************THE SECOND CODE PIECE IS BELOW************************************** } /* USER CODE END 3 */ } /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ while(!(TIM6->SR & TIM_SR_UIF)); TIM6->SR = 0; HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOD, green_Pin); } /* USER CODE END 3 */ }

Hey team,I wanted to check if there is any bridge IC  that can convert parallel camera interface data to USB 3?And/orDo we have anything that can convert MIPI CSI-2 to USB 3? - again for a camera IC.Thank you for your help!

I just got a new stm32f103zgt6. Following the steps on how to use stm32 cube ide with the board, when I tried debugging, it says no St-link connected. I would like to know how to go about this and also how to use jtag instead of stlink as well

Running into a strange problem . We're working on a safety project and using the ST-provided STL library on an STM32H743. Failing the Flash test when attempting to get 100% test coverage. Mode details in section below. The STL library is configured to test a multiple of sectors at a time (128kByte each). Our usage model is closely derived from the Nucleo reference project that ST provides as an aid to integrate the STL library; and we're using the IAR project in that package. As of today our code utilizes 3 sectors (2 complete and one partial). The Flash test (via STL_SCH_RunFlashTM API) works well on the first 2 sectors, but always fails the 3rd.Turns out, this is because the ST-provided CRC table generator utility (STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe called with option -sl) does not generate CRCs past the last byte of in-use memory inside the 3rd sector. As an attempt to remedy the problem I'm using the memory fill option built into the IAR IDE, to force a fill to a known pattern, different from 0xF

For the SPV1050, what is the charge current to the battery? Can I set the current? Also, I would like to verify that when there is no voltage input to the SPV1050 that the two LDOs are off or not operating.

i need help in doing this i am new for this stl need some respureces ahelp would be aprricited

Hello, Can you tell me the differences between two files linker script STM32... FLASH.id and STM32...RAM.id Regards,

Hello st community,I work on stm32h7, and I use with RTC output alarmA, when the MCU power supple turned off, and RTC work with VBATT to wakeup some component with this signal, but this component needs any pules to wakeup and not woke up with first event ('0' to '1' or '1' to '0' )  he needs '0' to '1' and after this to go down '1' to '0' , so i have just the half way by config the alarm polarity to high,  but the SW not working yet to clear this signal, is there any way(some configuration of RTC output alarm) to auto clear RTC_SR_ALRAF flag for the output to go down without the SW?

I'am currently engaged in developing an application utilizing TouchGFX on an STM32F429I microcontroller. The initial setup, including LCD initialization, SDRAM configuration, FreeRTOS integration, and the assignment of the primary TouchGFX task, has been successfully completed with the frame buffer start address designated at 0xD0000000 in the SDRAM, resulting in satisfactory operation.I am contemplating migrating the allocation of the TouchGFX frame buffer from the SDRAM to the internal RAM of the STM32F429I. Could you advise on the procedure to reallocate the frame buffer to the internal RAM? Additionally, considering the internal RAM may already be partially utilized, how might I determine an appropriate start address for the frame buffer in this scenario?

STM32G4 reference manual description offers only monitoring "Busy flag (BSY)" to check if SPI transfer is complete. In order to make sure the transfer is over I have to do polling of this bit. It is waste of time and resources. Is there any other reasonable way to detect the end of transfer with interrupt event generation? If I have both TX and RX, I can see the RXed data amount to know the TX is over. But in case of TX only I cannot do anything else, but polling.I believe there should be a solution, but somehow I cannot find it.Please, help.

Hi,I am using examples from the github repo to test accelerometer. I can read device id from both accel and magnetometer. Also I can read back the registers I set.  However, when it comes to read accelerometer, I read same values from all axis of the accelerometer such as A0A0A0 or 808080 and so on. Another behavior I observed is sometimes, boot register stuck as 1 after I use to BOOT bit from CTRL_REG5_A.Also I read very low values from magnetometer and 0 from temperature sensor. Is there any idea what is going wrong? Thanks.

Hi Everyone, in my previous posts i pretty much beat the bush around this subject and i did get some good supportbut i keep getting stuck with this issue.im using STM32H743ZI2 Evaluation board set to 32Mhzthe ADC is 16 bits and running on "fast channel" so therefore should be 1.2Mhz according to AN5354What i need to accomplish is to sample a large ammount of data (around 1MB, but i can settle for 100kb at this point)at a speed of atleast 1MSPSand store it reliably in internal RAM or some other external Memory device via DMAmy issues are:* RAM is limited and even though im supposed to have 1MB to my disposal i'm only managing to build the code for an array of about 220k half wordsuint16_t adc_buffer[220000]* now even when im using this "small" buffer when using DMA with it im only filling the first 65535 values.and the rest are set to 0, according to the DMA Documentation im limited to 65535 requests.* also i forgot to mention, i tested my sampling rate and it doesnt seem to be going ab

I'm attempting to use the LIS2DE12 in perhaps the simplest configuration: To directly poll the X,Y,Z registers as needed. I'm using the I2C bus. At this point, I've added some debug checks, so the current process looks like this: 1. On wakeup, I read the WHO_AM_I register to verify I'm talking to the correct device. I am.2. (debug) I read all the read/writeable registers so I can see what they are. All of them match the documentation's default values except CTRL_REG1 (0x20). Instead of the expected response of 0x07, I get 0x01. 3. I write to CTRL_REG1 (0x20) the value 0x5F. According to the docs, this should enable X, Y, Z, enable the device, and set the rate to 100Hz4. (debug) I read all the readable values. All other writeable registers are still defaults, but the CTRL_REG1 register has changed... but it doesn't contain 0x5F... it contains 0x02 !? Also interesting is the X, Y, and Z all contain non-zero values at this point, but the STATUS register reads 0x00 (no data, no o

There is an inconsistency in RTC shadow register update frequency description. Some places in text mentions that shadow register update happens once every RTCCLK period:34.3.5, 36.3.4: "Every RTCCLK periods, the current calendar value is copied into the shadow registers..."34.3.10, 36.3.8: "The copy is performed every RTCCLK cycle."And other place say that it actually happens every other RTCCLK cycle:34.6.7, 36.6.3: "Calendar values (when reading from RTC_SSR, RTC_TR, and RTC_DR) are taken from the shadow registers, which are updated once every two RTCCLK cycles."I assume that "every two RTCCLK cycles" is correct, because some other Reference Manuals state this consistently.

Hello I just tried tu run Nx_Iperf_A7 demoAs in readme I fellow-up all steps1) DDR_Init_A7 done (blue LED blinks)2) Nx_Iperf_A7 demo - compiled, and stared debug... and running codeIn terminal I got only "Nx Iperf application started.." but no info about IP address, etc. no more logs... Is it normal ? Must I to set something more to view them ?I setup with static IP address 192.168.0.2 instead of using DHCPIn terminal I got only "Nx Iperf application started.." but no info about IP address, etc. no more logs... Is it normal ? Must I to set something more to view them ?and I can only test UDP server mode (IPERF mode client)  show on picture:All others variants end with connection errors...I also read suggested IPERT documentation and setup as suggested in application readme.html at end of text. "Run the [iperf tool] by following steps described in this link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/rtos/netx-duo/netx-duo-iperf/chapter3" But it did not helped me...What could be wr

I'm trying to create a composite HID device, mouse+joystick. I'm using the HID mouse profile as a starting point and then add a second interface. I also used an already existing example as a guide: the Arduino core based on the HAL is maintained by ST, and implements a composite HID device mouse+keyboard, which is then used by the Arduino Mouse and Keyboard libraries https://github.com/stm32duino. For what is worth, I modified that code to implement a mouse+joystick device, and everything works as expected in Arduino. Unfortunately that code is not based on the latest HAL, so I cannot simply swap it. I then tried to use the same USB description and init function to create my device in a standard STM32CubeIDE project (below). I can see that the device initializes properly, Windows recognizes it as a composite HID device with the right characteristics, and the mouse interface works perfectly. If on the other hand I try to send data via the joystick interface, it stops transmitting. I use

Hello, i have a problem with my spi communication i don't recieve the information from the slave to the master Master configuration :Slave configuration : I want to receive how many time my led blink and i want to write it on my lcd screen. But everytime is printing 0.

Hi, I use the STM32F429I-DISC1 board with STM32CubeIDE 1.7.0.I can compile the project. But I upgraded the IDE to Rev 1.14.1.I cannot compile the project. It occurred a lot of error. What are different between STM32CubeIDE Rev 1.7.0 and Rev 1.14.1?Must I setup something before using STM32CubeIDE Rev 1.14.1? Thank you

Hi,Can somebody please explain what the "Flash memory endurance" value in the datasheet means? The max number of overall writes to the flash page or the max number of writes in the particular "cell" inside the page?Simple context:Let's say that the MCU has a page size of 2kB, a write granularity of 8bytes (64 bits, the "cell" - 256 of them in the page), and endurance in the datasheet 10k.The application writes from the beginning of the page toward the end. Reaching the end, rollover happens, the page is erased, and the same cycle repeats. How many application cycles are needed to reach the endurance value from the datasheet, 10k or 10k/256?Best Regards,Krunoslav

I migrated a project from STM32CubeMX 6.3.0 to STM32CubeMX 6.10.0.  It didn't boot anymore.There was this interesting diff to the linker script: ** Abstract : Linker script for STM32L452VCIx series -** 256Kbytes FLASH and 160Kbytes RAM +** 256Kbytes FLASH and 192Kbytes RAM MEMORY { -RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128K +RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 160K RAM2 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x10000000, LENGTH = 32K FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8000000, LENGTH = 256K }When did the STM32L452 get 192kB of SRAM?  This is wrong.  It's 160 kB.  The RAM region should just be 128K.  This puts the stack past the end of the real memory.

HiI m currently implementing a project using  MC Workbench software. There is a DAC Functionality subblock in the COntrol Unit block.  Can you tell me what is this block and why it uses two mcu pins as DAC ? For users which designing a custom board,  what should they do with these pins ?Thank you

Hi, I am having some problems with my inplementation. Here is my scenary: + I am using a STEVAL-SAMARTAG1 with one shot mode example code, as my T5T tag. + I am using a NUCLEO-F722ZE board with x-nucleo-nfc03a1 as my NFC reader. My first problem is that when I ask x-nucleo-nfc03a1 which is it chip ID, I always get the string ‘NFC FS2JAST4’ with some characters wrong, for example 'N#C FS'.Then I try to detect the tag, and I get as an aswer: 0x0E 0x83 0x80 or 0x0E 0x87.I know 0x87 is invalid protocol, but I think I am initializing the reader correctly.

void StartDefaultTask(void const * argument) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 5 */ /* Infinite loop */ for(;;) { printf("Hello world!"); //HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_0); //HAL_Delay(1000); //osDelay(1); } /* USER CODE END 5 */ } Greetings! this is the code for printing hello world on the console of RTOS in stm32 cube IDE but I'm not able to see the results on the console is anything wrong here?? I have created a task to print hello world on the console

helloI used ST link to connect to stm32H743 and reported an error during the Programmer download process:"Error:ST-LINK error(DEV_TARGET_CMD_ERR)“.But,I used j-link to connect to stm32H743 and there were no errors during the stm32IDE download process. Can you provide some suggestions, thanks
