Solved

Good morning , sorry if i'm not posting in the right place but i'm still learning. I have a problem with an example i saw in the tutorial where you bild an iterface to adjust the hour and minutes . In the tutorial where i built the interface it says to copy the code and put it in two files .... i tired but when i press the buttons mothing happens and in the two text areas thereare two question marks. Could someone kindly help me? Thank you so much.

Hello,  I'm experiencing a problem with PB6 pin on STM32G474 MCU when any type of reset occurs. The pin goes low for the whole duration of the reset pin being low, and stays low to around when the FDCAN is initalized. This is a significant issue, as it causes error frames to be sent whenever such device is restarted while connected to a working CAN bus.  I thought it might be linked to the UCPD Dead battery feature (UCPD1_CC1) - indeed a fresh project without the HAL_PWREx_DisableUCPDDeadBattery(); does not pull the PB6 pin low, however adding this call causes the low state to occur while under reset. The same goes when a FDCAN init is used. It looks as if whatever peripheral touched the PB6 the problem shows up.  Did anyone experienced anything like this?

Hi,I have question, I wanted to check whether a condition has reached below threshold level. How many check do I need to do whether it has reached the level below. Does it need to be three check or do a 20 check and average out to see if it below that level. Is there better way of doing ? alogortihm perhaps.

Hello,I am developing an application on STM32H563 MCU and NUCLEO board.I have the following problem when trying to configure USART2 RXFIFO threshold. In particular, on a transmission completed event, inside the ISR, I need to configure the RXFIFO threshold based on the expected number of bytes to receive.I try to do this, using the LL_USART_SetRXFIFOThreshold(), but I see that it doesn't have effect on the RXFTCFG bits of register CR3, that remains stuck at 0.What am I doing worng?Regards,Carlo

I encounter the following error when connecting STM32WB15 to ST-Link V2.Error: No STM32 target found! If your product embeds Debug Authentication, please perform a discovery using Debug Authenticationonly VDD,GND, and SWIO and SWCLK pins connected..package is ..UFQFPN48what is problem..?

Hi!I'm using STM32H745 dual core. The reason behind it is as I have to do very fast measurement on one core (M7) and the rest of the slower things on the M4. The M4 is mostly used for communicating with the external world. I have setup SPI3 and SPI4. SPI3 is on the M7 and the SPI4 is on the M4. SPI3 is the slave. SPI4 is the master. I have used this example to get the cores to communicate, which works! What I'm trying to achieve is for the M4 (master) to use the transmitreceive function (it can be in any mode - polling, it or dma) to send config data and receive measurement data from the M7. For now I can use the given example. What I'm trying to do is to move the SPI receiving, packing the data and sending it back to the master in an interrupt routine on the M7. Is that possible to do? Or is it done by setting a flag and computing it in the main while loop? Thanks!

I have timestamp counter enabled and batching to FIFO with decimation=1. I can see the timestamp values are interleaved with the accelerometer values, but the timestamp values are always 0 like this (this is SPI trace):22 00 00 00 00 00 0A12 32 F7 2F FC 9A 4124 00 00 00 00 00 0A14 DE F6 AE FC 94 4327 00 00 00 00 00 0A17 9B F6 3E FC 23 4021 00 00 00 00 00 0A11 EE F6 46 FC A6 4222 00 00 00 00 00 0A12 49 F7 54 FC 69 42The last byte 0A contains I guess the BDL (1010), and tag sensor is 0x4 so it should be timestamp value but why does it contain only zeroes ?

Hi,We notice that LIS3DH accelerometer has multiple mode which can be utilized to be used on low power mode for single/double tap detection. Does single/double tap detection increase the current consumption stated on the data sheet/design tip?https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/lis3dh.pdfhttps://my.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/design_tip/group0/d6/1d/5f/b0/3c/6e/47/27/DM00564061/files/DM00564061.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00564061.pdfThank You

Hi,I am currently working on my Final Year Project, which involves implementing a plant disease detection model on the STM32H747i-Disco board. My project is inspired by an image classification example from the model zoo.Back in October 2023, I successfully deployed the sample model (specifically, the provided flower model) on the STM32H747i-Disco board, using the B-CAMS-OMV camera. However, I have recently encountered an issue where I am unable to replicate this deployment.Although the CMD window indicates that the model is deployed successfully (figure 1), the LCD screen on the board remains blank (figure 2). This issue persists despite the fact that there are no error warnings in the CMD window.I am aware that there have been updates to the LCD screen of the board. My LCD screen is the A03 model, which, to my understanding, should not be affected by these updates. In an effort to troubleshoot, I followed the steps provided in a helpful guide by KDJEM.1. This guidance allowed me

Greetings, I have a problem with LWIP when the D-Cache is enabled. My test program:int main(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */  /* USER CODE END 1 *//* USER CODE BEGIN Boot_Mode_Sequence_0 */  int32_t timeout;/* USER CODE END Boot_Mode_Sequence_0 *//* Enable the CPU Cache */  /* Enable I-Cache---------------------------------------------------------*/  SCB_EnableICache();  /* Enable D-Cache---------------------------------------------------------*/  SCB_EnableDCache();/* USER CODE BEGIN Boot_Mode_Sequence_1 */  /* Wait until CPU2 boots and enters in stop mode or timeout*/  timeout = 0xFFFF;  while((__HAL_RCC_GET_FLAG(RCC_FLAG_D2CKRDY) != RESET) && (timeout-- > 0));  if ( timeout < 0 )  {  Error_Handler();  }/* USER CODE END Boot_Mode_Sequence_1 */  /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/  /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and t

DearsI can only start this example in Debug mode, the BLUE led start blinking... So it works OK.But If I try to use RUN command (using icon, or right mouse click on project file) than it seems not work (RED leds blinks only ONE and is OFF, Blue LED is also OFF)in project readme.txt is written only:"In order to make the program work, you must do the following :- Open your preferred toolchain- Rebuild all files and load your image into target memory- Run the example"Can anyone help me what I am doing wrong ?Best RegardsRadim

I'm looking at https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an4187-using-the-crc-peripheral-on-stm32-microcontrollers-stmicroelectronics.pdf. It says:Two examples are described, with the measurement of execution time:• CRC_usage example: how to configure the CRC using the CPU as data transfercontroller.• CRC_DMA example: how to use the DMA as CRC data transfer controller.Where can I find that CRC_DMA example?

Hi, We are using an SPC5 microcontroller for a motor controller application. All of a sudden, we weren't able to connect with our motor controller board, which runs on the SPC5 controller, and we also found that it was getting heated up to 36 °C. and while checking, we found something short in the "VDD_HV_IO0" pin, and we have checked by removing all the decoupling capacitors too. Now, should I consider that the controller went off, or are there any other ways to fix or debug this issue?

Hi Team.I'm trying to connect STEVAL-GMBL02V1 board with STSW-GMBL02V1 control application. The cursor icon becomes a standby animation, but I cannot connect.I connected using the following steps:supply 8V of power to the STEVAL-GMBL02V1 board.connect the USB.start up the STSW-GMBL02V1 application.Condition:Motor is not connected yet.The thing to be concerned about is that when you connect USB, the current value decreases.I am using a power supply that can only display up to two decimal places, but 40mA is displayed as 0A. I would like to know if the board is defective or if there is a problem with the procedure.Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

Please refer to screen shot cube Monitor overall. It all works except that the text does not display. I am expecting the numerical data displayed on the gauge would also be displayed in the Text on the dashboard but it doesn't work. Both of the single value nodes are set up the same and the Text node is set up as in the "screenshot text node".I thought that the Text node and gauge node would operate the same way on data but that seems not to be the case.  Could someone please explain what I am doing wrong. Thanks

Greetings,This is a revival of this question but refocused on the actual line of code iteself. Also, I thought that I may have better luck on this board instead. We have a problem where a certain call of memcpy overwrites/corrupts memory elsewhere, but this seems to not be a simple case of overflow since the place that gets corrupted is before the destination, i.e. the address's value is lower, i.e. 'behind' instead of 'ahead'. Furthermore, when I look at the values of all the relevant parameters and even the registers at the assembly-level, everything seems to be within bounds and in order. The context of the memcpy is that we are copying bytes of a custom protobuf packets from the USB RX-buffer in CDC_Receive_HS callback to our own FIFO ring-buffer.What happens is that the memory at 0x2400162c, which happens to be hUsbDeviceHS.ep_out[1].rem_length, begins to get corrupted and keeps corrupting all the memory from then onwards, right down to some important variables in rx_

Hi community, since I cannot find a suitable LL-driver for reading register with 16bits address, here is my experiment.the nfc tag init function: the ReadID funciton is called, in background is GetICREF function.in low level the BSP_I2C2_Read16 function is called:console output:but the logic analyser only captures these values:*******************************************************************************************************************my questions:1. is my BSP_I2C2_Read16 funciton ok?2. the device address is 0xae, where does the value 0x57 come from?3. the register address is 0x0017, why is only the LSB 0x17 captured?Any other suggestions are willcome! thanks a lot.

Hello, we are a manufacturer company that uses STM products. We developed a device using stm32f410 and stm32f446 products 2 years ago. We have a few processors from this old series, stm32f410 and stm32f446, and they work without any problems. However, the new stm32f410 and stm32f446 processors we bought do not work on the same card we developed 2 years ago. Periodically, the processor enters an endless reset loop. When we look at the CUB IDE debugger, we see that PADRST is active in the CSR area. But the reset input is not active. We have 200 new stm32f410 products. We cannot solve the problem. Please can you help?Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi,maybe I don't know how/where to look, but I can't find any info why in datasheet for STM32G473 there is the max value for T_trig (external trigger period) in ADC timing characteristics (see the attached image). I several datasheets for several other families and there was maximal value for f_trig instead, which seems perfectly natural to me.Could anyone point me in the right direction?Thx

Hello everyone,  I have a bunch of questions concerning the environmental impact of manufacturing a STM32  I'd like to see the impact according to as many criteria as possible from the following:  Contribution to the greenhouse effect  Particulate matter and respiratory effects of inorganic substances  Air acidification  Photochemical ozone formation  Ionizing radiation potential  Use of mineral and metal resources  Use of fossil resources  Ecotoxicity Do you know where I could find these

I am trying to find schematic diagram for Nucleo board to know, where button is connected but there are many unnecessary files but where is Schematic? This is so annoying when press Ctrl+V and your text inserted in *** block in this form, how can I insert it as plane text? Thanks

Hello everyone,I am new to hardware programming so please excuse my basic question. Can someone please point me to the right resource to obtain data from an external pdm microphone (https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-pdm-microphone-breakout?view=all) from STM32H7 using arduino? Is that possible? I could not find good tutorials for this. Is learning Cube to be able to implement SAI- PDM the only option for this project? I did find the following discussion on arduino forum: https://forum.arduino.cc/t/audio-input-pdm-portenta-vision-shield/1084627 but I wanted to clarify.

Hi! :waving_hand:I have programmed a STM32WB5MMG with the SBSFU + OTA + User app. The SBSFU is able to start the user app with no problem, and the user app is able to start the OTA app.The problem comes when starting the update process. With STM32CubeMonitorRF there is no problem: the device is updated to the new version of the user app. However, when the operation is performed with the ST BLE Sensor app (iOS), the image is sent (100%), but the OTA does not restart to install the new user app and the 100% message does not disappear from the mobile app. With the normal OTA (without SBSU) I have been able to update the versions of the user app with the mobile application. My question is if STM32CubeMonitorRF and the mobile application ST BLE Sensor manage differently the OTA procedure (if so, to know these differences to be able to implement them in our mobile application where the updates will be done in production), or if it is a bug of the mobile app when managing sfb files.Best regards

Hi,I’m using the latest X-CUBECELLULAR version v7.1.0 on the BL462E-CELL1.However, the modem factory FW version (RK_03_00_00_00_11851_001) isn’t compliant with the X-CUBECELLULAR v7.1.0. From the release notes, the X-CUBECELLULAR v7.1.0 requires RK_03_00_00_00_04121_001.However, I don’t know how and where to download the RK_03_00_00_00_04121_001 modem firmware version.Your help is much appreciated.Kind regards.
