Hello, i have a STM32WBA52CG with a NUCLEO 64 board.I want to utilize the new BLE in speakers. I want a Client phone to broadcast audio to servers -> STM32WBA52CG.First question, does an example sketch exist for this application? Is there some available code that i can look at to get started with BLE and its new features like an audio server?Second question, can i use the internal DAC for audio purposes? Then the left and right channel go though the DAC and out to GPIO, so i can connect it to amplifier?Third question, can i use the buildin DSP for doing equalizer operations on the left and right audio channel?Fourth question, I was at a ST workshop in Denmark -> Aarhus, they showcased a video with some audio applications where the boards were used for audio broadcasting. In the video the server side could switch between two audio channels and there was two audio boards that each had a channel that were broadcasting audio. Im looking for this video, i cant find it, also looki

I am using CAN peripheral and for debugging I am using USB-CDC to receive the status of the CAN transfers and Reception. The issue I am facing is The USB was recognized as Virtual Port when Only USB was initialized and used but when Implemented with CAN the Virtual port had failed to get recognized. Is there a way to overcome this problem?

I have I2C working properly, but can't seem to figure out how to recover the bus and get it to working again if I test for the presence of a device that is not on the bus and therefore I2C_Mem_Read() returns HAL_ERROR.  There are other devices on the bus, but HAL_ERROR seems to be latched and calling MX_I2C4_Init() again doesn't undo it and allow a retry.  The project is built with EWARM 9.30.1 and STMCubeMX 6.11.0.Suggestions?  Background:  I know this is working and checked it against an oscilloscope/protocol analyzer; what's happened is that one of my 2 I2C devices is unplugged and I want to recover from the error.I2CResult = HAL_I2C_Mem_Write(&hi2c4, (0x22<<1)|0x01, 0x0C, 1, ExpanderConfig, 1, 100);(device is on I2C4 pins, i2c address is 0x22, register address is 0x0C, address size is 1, we are writing 1 byte of ExpanderConfig, an array, and waiting 100ms for timeout)I2CResult = HAL_I2C_Mem_Read(&hi2c4, 0x47<<1, 0x08, 1, BufConfig,3,100)

Hi I am trying to run FREERTOS enabled USB CDC Host on my device having STM32F756 MCU.My firmware package version is v1.17.1 which I think is the latest version for the F7 series. For this what is the latest version USB CDC Host Drivers which is supported? The automatically generated one via cubeIDE always shows v1.0.0I can see that the latest version out there on Git is v3.5.2 whereas in the notes states that update to support v3.4.1

Hi guys,             I was trying to implement CAN in STM32F429I-DISC1. In that board when using PB5 and PB6 for CAN2  it is working but when using CAN2 with PB12 and PB13 it is not working and it shows bit dominant error. if any of you faced this error, help me to rectify it.

I am trying to get the spice model for STW3N170  MOSFET, it does not seem to be with the other info for the devive.Any help appreciated. Paul

Helllo Frends,I am workin on FreeRTOS with STM32f411CEU6 Blackpill. In this I am facing issue with using sleep mode because there is no pin LPTIM1 in the section of TIMERS.I tryed bothe of them CMSIS_V1 and CMSIS_V2. Is there aany Way to use SLEEP MODE

Hello all, I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to seek urgent assistance regarding a recent issue I encountered with my SPC5 Studio. Recently, I updated my SPC5 Studio, only to find that it began malfunctioning. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the software. However, as a newcomer to SPC5 Studio, I was unaware that this action might result in the removal of my projects from the workspace. Upon reinstalling the software, to my dismay, I discovered that my project was nowhere to be found. This has left me in a state of shock and distress, as the project contained months of diligent effort. I'm reaching out to this community in the hopes that someone might be able to offer guidance or assistance in recovering my project. Any help or advice would be immensely appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards, Lucifer

Good morning, I am looking to write data in csv format to my SD card with an SD shield. So I activate the SDMMC1 port and the FATFS driver for my SDMMC1 port, when I generate I then have 300 errors on my HAL header. Do you have any idea what the problem is, and how to solve it, please? THANKS.Best regards,

While testing drivers using example BSP from STM32H747-DISCO, everything works fine, but the camera example triggered with a camera init error. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Dear Community Members,I was exploring AEK-COM-ISOSPI1, SPI to isoSPI dongle, based on L9963T transceiver for one of my new project. I wanted to make use of this interface product for a simulating software that runs on a Teensy 4.0 microcontroller. I have verified that the SPI data is received to the board, but unfortunately no signal was available on the isoSPI end. The setup and scenario is as below:Teensy 4.0 (at 2MHz, SPI Mode0) acts as Master and I need this board to be on slave mode. Hence, I kept the jumper NSLAVE at JP1=0. The signals at SCK (TP6), SDI (TP7) and NCS (TP8) looks good as expected which was sent from the Teensy microcontroller. VDD and VIO was set to 5V. The other jumper connections are not quite clear to me however I tried few combinations and none of them seems to give me the isoSPI signals. For example, I tried TXAmp =0, TXEN =1, ISOFreq=1, BNE=0 and DIS=0 (JP2-JP6 respectively). I have also measured the signals at the L9963T pins input and all looks good. It s

Hello,I'm trying to communicate with the USB FS CDC on my NUCLEO-H723ZG while using FreeRTOS and the device doesn't enumerate properly. I am using the current up-to-date software pack for STM32H7 -> 1.11.2I use the CubeMX starting project with the NUCLEO-H723ZG and I only add the USB_OTG_HS as a Full Speed Device. Then I add the middleware for the CDC using all default parameters. If I use the project at this point, the USB communication with the virtual comm port works flawlessly. However, it stops working when I add the middleware FreeRTOS with its default parametersIn Windows 11 Device Manager, I am getting the error were the USB descriptor failed (Code 43)Is there a configuration I am missing ? I would have expected the USB CDC driver to work right out of the box with FreeRTOS at this point...I have added the .ioc used to generate the projet as well as the main with the code to send an Hello_world message to the virtual com port. The only hardware required is the NUCLEO-H723ZG wit

Hi Team, I am looking for an I2C EEPROM (or any I2C slave device) that supports 10-bit addressing scheme. Can anyone suggest any device? Thanks,

Hi,I have a C project, it compiles perfectly.I changed the extension of main from main.c to main.cpp.I use the function "Convert to C++", I did "Clean project"but when I compile the project, I have a bulk of compiling error of this type:C:/myproject/Debug/../Src/filex.c:62: multiple definition of `Function1'; ./Src/app_filex.o:C:/myproject/Debug/../Src/filex.c:62: first defined here and this for every functions, I suppose.Any suggestion?thank you

Hi everybody, In my custom board I discover a strange effect when I interact with widget. The latest widget redraw has always a lots of wrong pixels while the previous one is redrawed correctly.I'm using an STM32H743VIT6, with touchGFX 4.23.2 and Stm32cube ide 1.15.0.Assets are load from an external QSPI memoryThis is the first time I see this strange behaviour and I would like to understand the cause.Does some has an idea? IS it software or should be hardware? Some suggestion? At the following link, I upload a small video to show you the effect (link is available until April 16, 2024):https://fex.net/s/rveymxr  thanks in advance

Hello everyoneI'll receive soon a custom board based on an STM32 microcontroller (still not sure about the specific part number) and I'll have to flash FW updates on it. A few questions about it:1) There's a 4 pin header connector on the board (VCC, SWCLK, GND, SWO) and I have two STLink programmers (STLink V2 and V2/ISOL). Is this connection scheme correct? (Left header connector, right STLink 20 pin connector).VCC -> 1SWCLK -> 9GND -> 3SWO -> 132) Will this work fine even if I have no SWDIO pin on the header connector? Thank you very much in advancedNick

Hi, for our development we have selected "STM32F207ZG". The eval board which I see for MCU is "NUCLEO-F207ZG", which has pin-outs but not the required hardware interfaces on-board (usb-c fs, micro-sd, lcd, fsmc). The dev board "32F469IDISCOVERY" has some on-board interfaces but based on M4.Questions:1. Can M4 program be directly reused for M3. Any changes in compilation, as M4 has DSP hardware?2. Suggestions for dev board for above requirement.3. Does FreeRTOS have support for M3, M4 and necessary interfaces4. Can the interfaces be done without FreeRTOS libraries.Request to look into above queries.

When i moved to new version of CubeMX and regenerate code for my H7 USB project i got compiler warning about some variables. Here is difference between old and new generated usbd_desc.c file;Old file:static void Get_SerialNum(void) { uint32_t deviceserial0; uint32_t deviceserial1; uint32_t deviceserial2; deviceserial0 = *(uint32_t *) DEVICE_ID1; deviceserial1 = *(uint32_t *) DEVICE_ID2; deviceserial2 = *(uint32_t *) DEVICE_ID3; deviceserial0 += deviceserial2; if (deviceserial0 != 0) { IntToUnicode(deviceserial0, &USBD_StringSerial[2], 8); IntToUnicode(deviceserial1, &USBD_StringSerial[18], 4); } } New file:static void Get_SerialNum(void) { uint32_t deviceserial0; uint32_t deviceserial1; uint32_t deviceserial2; deviceserial0 += deviceserial2; if (deviceserial0 != 0) { IntToUnicode(deviceserial0, &USBD_StringSerial[2], 8); IntToUnicode(deviceserial1, &USBD_StringSerial[18], 4); } } As you can see deviceserial0, deviceserial1 and devices

Hey everyone, I have a problem in understanding the X-CUBE-EEPROM when using it with the STM32G0B1xx. 1. What is meant by kcycles? Does it mean 1000 cycles? The documentation (https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an4894-how-to-use-eeprom-emulation-on-stm32-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf) says i have 10kycles per page. One page saves up to 252 elements. Does it mean I can write a 32bit (4 byte) variable 252 * 10000 times? What happens after that?2. I am thinking of implementing my own smaller version of the emulated eeprom. I have 2 variables (8 bytes) which I continuously need to write to the flash. So I could write each variable at a fix memory address, lets say 0x08080000 and 0x08080004. Of course I would loose all the benefits of having data retention, etc. but how often could I write a new value to these addresses? Over the lifetime of my use case (a battery) the variable could be written 300.000 times, at always the same address, is this feasi

Hi,When I save modifications into Device Configuration Tool, the IDE do an update. It can't get the file stm32cube_fw_f7_v1161.zip, timeout. It's probably linked to my professional proxy configuration, but I can't resolved it currentlySomeone can help me ?Where can I found and download this file ? Thanks in advance.

I have a working code generated with STM32CUBEMX and TouchGFX 4.17, which I compiled with Keil using ARM compiler version 5. Now, we have updated the setup, and while trying to compile the code with ARM compiler version 6, Keil throws an error saying 'error: use of undeclared identifier 'assert''. This error occurs in more than 2000+ files related to TouchGFX. I checked the files where it is throwing errors, and each file has a header #include <touchgfx/hal/Types.hpp>. In the file Types.hpp, the following headers are included:     #include <assert.h> #include <stdint.h> #include <touchgfx/hal/Config.hpp>     I went through the following articles, but the error still persists. How can I resolve this issue? https://developer.arm.com/documentation/ka004216/latest/ https://developer.arm.com/documentation/100073/0618/The-Arm-C-and-C---Libraries/Tailoring-the-C-library-to-a-new-execution-environment/Program-exit-and-the-assert-macro

Hello Everyone, For a project, I'm using a NUCLEO-L432KC board and it is connected to external sensors, Tx, and Rx (which work with 4-5 V). I want to use an X-Nucleo-LPM01A to measure its power consumption. Based on the NUCLEO-L432KC documents, I have to open SB9 and SB14, then NUCLEO-L432KC can be powered on by X-Nucleo-LPM01A then we can measure the board power consumption. But there is a problem.  if I use this method I can't use ST-LINK and USB to program the NUCLEO-L432KC board and I can't change some parts of the code. Each time, I have to solder them again, program the board, and then open the solder bridges SB14 and SB9.Now the question is, is there any alternative solution?I really appreciate your help

hello everyone!from the link Solved: STM32U5 Can't exit STOP2 mode with LPTIM - STMicroelectronics Communityit is possible to make LPTIM work in stop2and there is a macro，__HAL_RCC_LPTIMx_CLKAM_ENABLE(), where x can be 1, 3, or 4. but in my project，(STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.19.0)，I can't find this macrois there anyone who can help me, how to make lptim work and wakeup from stop2thanks for your help!
