Solved

Good evening,Could you help me install the x-cube-cryptolib library in STM32CubeIDE? I have tried everything and I still can't install it correctly. I would greatly appreciate your help.

Hello everyone,I'm getting yocto build for STM32MP1 mickledore. There is no problem with compilation. The images were produced without any problems. The system is up but I get the following error while generating the SDK.   ERROR: core-image-minimal-1.0-r0 do_populate_sdk: Could not invoke dnf. Hi,I purchased this STM32H723 mini core board that has 20 pin fpc connector for camera module and 10 pin fpc connector for LCD module.https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005852859518.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.10.d0bd7385STni3J&gatewayAdapt=glo2ara I contacted the seller on Aliexpress and they told me this board works with OV2640/OV5640 modules, but they eventually told me that they don't have the items available.I purchased OV2640, but it turned out to have 24 pin cable.    I have 3 questions:Is there an adapter solution for this ?What camera module will fit this board, please provide Aliexpress product link if possible. What LCD module I can connect to this board ?

I want to read the serial output from the STM32 F405 Feather using the SWV on Cube Programmer, but I do not receive Serial output from the board. I am running the .hex file from this Arduino sketch on the board: #include <SWOStream.h> SWOStream s(2000000, SWO_Async, 0, false); //swoEnable = false void setup() { delay(150); } void loop() { s.print("Serial is alive!"); delay(500); } I have searched through the board documentation over and over and I can't find what clock frequency to use in my program and in the SWV terminal on Cube Programmer, so if anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated!

Hello everyone, I am using TouchGFX 4.23.1 on STM32H750xx and I am experiencing this behaviour.  I have a screen with multilple flexbuttons and each one of them has a callback setted when it is pressed. Everything works fine except I've noticed that the callback is called only after I release the button. So after reading TouchGFX's guidelines, I have tried the handleClickEvent method but then button's flexButtonCallbackHandler is not called. So those are the two methods: 1) void MyScreen::flexButtonCallbackHandler(const touchgfx::AbstractButtonContainer &flexButton) -> It works fine but it is called only after I release the button; 2)  void MyScreen::flexButtonCallbackHandler(const touchgfx::AbstractButtonContainer &flexButton) + void MyScreen::handleClickEvent(const ClickEvent& evt) -> My application can sense immediately the touch in handleClickEvent but then flexButtonCallbackHandler is not called. So I am able to differentiate PR

I've compiled my first program and I can't find a way to upload to the board. When I plug the USB, the onboard LED is lit, but my PC does not detect anything - I don't hear any "plug" sound, and I can't find any device in Device Manager (recognized nor not recognized).I've tried different cables, different USB ports, and a different PC. Is the board damaged? The default program is fine, I can use user button to switch LEDs.This is my first STM32 :(

Hello,I have NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q ST Board. To initialize the board, I used the STM32CubeMX initialization code generator ("Start My project from ST Board").The Debug in this initialization is set to "Disable" (i.e., no Serial Wire or JTAG is active). How the onboard embedded ST-Link operates with debug disabled setup?BR, Chaim

Hi there,I've been using the NXP Kinetis MKL03Z32VFK4 Ultra-Low Power Cortex-M0+ MCU in our products, and it's been working well, but due to a major redesign, I'm looking for alternatives, and ST MCUs are promising.Specifically, I'm concerned about long-term availability. NXP has been offering its LPC product line for ages. Then, they purchased Freescale, inheriting their Kinetis series. Now, they offer the MCX series, too. Given their multiple competing product lines, I'm worried they'll discontinue the MKL03Z32VFK4 after its 2035-06 longevity date.I'm considering using the STM32L011F4U or STM32C011F6U instead of the MKL03Z32VFK4. Even though their availability is only guaranteed until 2034-01, I'd expect ST to extend their availability further than NXP. I believe this because, to my knowledge, ST is the most popular Cortex-M supplier, and it only has a single product portfolio. Can some of you provide more insight on the above?

I installed cubeide (under linux ver 1.15.1) and started it by creating a workspace.I created a new project (STM32 project), the 'Target selector' appeared and I selected the nucleo-g474re board.I gave the project a name, I answered yes to the question 'Initialize all peripher.....".The "Device Configuration Tool editor is associated ..." window appeared and I answered yes again. The bar under "Perform Project Creation. Please wait..." moves ...After several minutes (10) I launch top and see that a 'Spawner Reaper' process is active and uses 100% CPU and 11% memory. If I give the command 'strace -p PID' the result is "close(510686161) = -1 EBADF (Bad File Descriptor)"Where can I see the output of 'Spawner Reaper'?How can I find out what he's doing?Suggestions?Thank you

Good morning,In regards to the current limit placed on the PC13-PC15 pins of the STM32G431VBx3 that is used as the basis of the STSPIN32G4 (and whose datasheet is referred to multiple times in the STSPIN's), the '431 datasheet has the usual low-power domain caveat of "Since the switch only sinks a limited amount of current (3 mA) [...] These GPIOs must not be used as current sources (for instance to drive an LED)" (DS12589 Rev 6, pg. 60). The "Must Not" language seems rather definitive, and yet both of the demonstration boards go ahead and use at least one of the pins for an LED.The EVLSPIN32G4-ACT schematic (as partially shown below) uses PC13 and PC14 with LEDs. The EVSPIN32G4 board implements the same circuit on PC13 but not PC14.The yellow LED is listed in both BOMs as Wurth 150060YS75000, with 20mA test current and 2V typical forward voltage. The green LED is listed as Wurth 150060GS75000 at 20mA and 3.2V (typ). With the 320Ω worth of resistors in place, the yellow

Hi AllMaximum input voltage for this series of MCU per Table II of the datasheet is specified to be 4.0 VDC for all pins other than five-volt tolerant. Table 12 specifies the maximum injected current for all pins other than five-volt tolerant to be +/- 5 mA.Given the above specifications would it be permissible to exceed the maximum input voltage if the injected current is limited to lets say 0.1 mA by a resistor in series with the non five-volt tolerant I/O pin? If not what would be the reason?Regardsik

Hi,I have two MCU communicating with each other via RS485. It's a very simple code one MCU send a data to other and the other is trying to receive this. With MCU2 code everything is fine. It sends data like it should be.Problem is with MCU1 code. When I delete #65 line in code (that one with HAL_UART_Transmit...) it works great. It receive data from MCU2 and starts engine and horn. But when I add this line it stop working. I dont understand why this is happening. When the MCU2 works as a receiver everything is ok, but when I try to send something from it suddenly the whole uart stops working MCU1 code:/* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */ uint8_t buffer[2]; uint8_t ZERO[2]={0x00,0x00}; uint8_t AA[2]={0xAA,0xAA}; uint8_t BB[2]={0xBB,0xBB}; void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { if(buffer[0]==0xCC && buffer[1]==0xCC) { Engine(ON); } if(buffer[0]==0xDD && buffer[1]==0xDD) { Horn(ON); } HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart2, buffer, 2); } /* USER CODE EN

Hi,I'm willing to use the MXCHIP EMW3080B wireless module on the B-U585I-IOT02A in a project with TrustZone enabled. As there is no tutorial for that, I copied files from the Nx_Network_Basics example.Unfortunately I get the following error when building the Non-Secure project: unknown type name 'noos_queue_t'Your help will be much appreciated, thanks!@Benjamin BARATTE @STea

Hello,I have a scenario where RFID tags may be presented to a ST25R3911 reader at any orientation.Tags do not read If the plane of the tag antenna is not properly aligned enough with the plane of the reader antenna. To work around this, I was thinking of using two ST25R3911's with antennas perpendicular or at some angle to each other with the idea that at least one reader antenna will pick up the tag.The questions I have are:1. Is this a feasible solution ?2. Can the two readers be active at the same time or should only one reader be active at a time ?3. I understand that the ST25R3911 can have two antennas, would this be a better solution than having two ST25R3911's ?4. Is there a better solution ?Thanks for any suggestions, I am new to RFID.-Randy

I am using stm32h743 mcu and initialized cdc usb fs with cube mx for device only. After that i changed  descriptors of cdc with uvc descriptors now the device is recognized as usb composite device on device manager but i am not able to transmit any data over it as i tried to send dummy data but no packets were sent as i monitored them on wireshark.

Hello,I am trying to bring up my custom board with STM32MP157F largely inspired by STM32MP157F-DK2 board but with a dual RAM configuration.I am having a Panic error after ROM boot which states in the line before an error related to "fdt_counter_get", a function that I have no idea what it does and I cannot seem to find where it comes from, anywhere on internet or in my files.I have looked at the usual troobleshooting guidelines and I have no difference with discovery kit devictree configuration regarding HSE (oscillator bypass), I2C4 and PMIC (although I removed some unused configuration for HDMI or audio which I do not have in my board). Here are the logs I get on UART console during boot. Hi,While configuring STM32F446RE on CubeIDE for writing and reading on SD Card using SDIO mode (1 bit mode), when I'm generating code I get this error message :   - Main Config: These peripherals still have some not configured or wrong parameter values: [FATFS, Verify the Platform Settings Tab , Clock] I cannot find a way to resolve this error. I click on generate the code anyway.Kindly help

hello, I have a display configured for FMC but I would like to add a framebuffer to the RAM memory, unfortunately the MCU memory is not enough (the display resolution is 480x800) so I have to add external RAM. My question is how to do it since I am already using FMC for the display. Can I connect RAM to the same pins?

I'm working on stm32wl55 Nucleo-64.I have doubts regarding the mechanism by which the duty cycle control is implemented in the project.I am sending a test LoRa message with a payload of 231 Bytes, using DR5 and SF7 every 10 seconds (whereas a 1% duty cycle should enforce a retransmission approximately every 36 seconds).What happens is highlighted by the log below:###### ========== MCPS-Confirm =============###### U/L FRAME:0042 | PORT:10 | DR:5 | PWR:7 | MSG TYPE:UNCONFIRMED450s717:TX on freq 868100000 Hz at DR 5450s725:SEND REQUEST451s109:MAC txDone451s110:RX_C on freq 869525000 Hz at DR 0456s086:RX_1 on freq 868100000 Hz at DR 5456s133:IRQ_RX_TX_TIMEOUT456s133:MAC rxTimeOut456s133:RX_C on freq 869525000 Hz at DR 0457s137:RX_2 on freq 869525000 Hz at DR 0457s335:IRQ_RX_TX_TIMEOUT457s335:MAC rxTimeOut457s335:RX_C on freq 869525000 Hz at DR 0###### ========== MCPS-Confirm =============###### U/L FRAME:0043 | PORT:10 | DR:5 | PWR:7 | MSG TYPE:UNCONFIRMED460s725:TX on freq 868500000 Hz at

Hello everyone, I am a student who is fairly new to these concepts so I wanted to pick your brains for a bit if you'll allow me to. I have done some research and found that STM32F4 is compatible with AT commands if we use external hardware. However, I am stuck on what to use. ESP8266 and ESP32 seem like fairly popular choices. I also researched and found that good alternatives for those are: nRF52840, C3200, CC3220. Then I found out about SoCs (system on chip) but I think that is a bit too advanced for a beginner, I'll try those out when I have grown more familiar with this. Thank you for any and all of your help, as well as for your time!

Recently I brought FEIG CPR30Pro to automate our ST25 NFC testing process. But after installing STSW-ST25PC001 & STSW-ST25PC002 application from below linkhttps://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-st25pc001.html#overviewnot able to connect FEIG CPR30pro reader. Pop up displayed as It support FEIG CPR30 and FEIG CPR30+ models but not FEIGCPR30pro.Can you please suggest me how can I use it over PC for testing ST25 NFC Tags using FEIGCPR30pro?

Hello:I am looking for a fast way to add an array of data to a static graph without adding them one point at a time using addDataPoint(). I also don't care about the x values. They are just sequential. I want to update the entire graph at once and then refresh the display. Is there a way to do this? Thanks,Dan

Following the instructions on the wiki page for getting started, the board does not appear over USB and cannot be recognised by STM32CubeProgrammer. Green power LED is on. Switches are in correct position. STLink is red light is blinking. Power rails seem fine, although DDR is 0 volts. I have tried two different computers, one Linux, one macOS and neither can detect the USB device or connect to it from STM32CubeProgrammer. I have also tried different cables.

Hello,I have installed STM32CubeProgrammer (version 2.14.0) on a Linux machine. I have connected my NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q microcontroller to the machine, but the CubeProgrammer does not detect it (the machine does). I received this message on the CubeProgrammer:ST-LINK error (DEV_CONNECT_ERR)I tried the same setup on a Windows PC and it worked perfectly (with the same version of CubeProgrammer). What could be the possible solution?Best regards,
