Hi all, I'm trying to write to the QSPI memory but I'm getting two different results... in the first case, if I write all the functions before the call to the osKernelStart() function, I am able to write and read from the QSPI memory. However, in the case where I want to write a value using the CSP_QSPI_Write function, I get a value of 2, which means I can't enable the write function... how to solve all this?   In attachment there is a sample where I can show what I do with code.....   I hope it is clear.....

Hello,i have running an web applikation with netXduo on an STM32H735 and i try to open a TCP connection.Driver, initialization, communication and stuff is working, but for testing purpose i tried to let the netXduo API-calls to run into timout by setting the waitOpt to a very low time.But nothing happened, e.g. with nx_tcp_socket_receive with a timeout of only a few ticks, the stack waits till the next packet is received. The function doesn't return on timeout.I have also tried nxd_tcp_client_socket_connect, also this function does not timeout. It stucks infinitely if it can't establish the connection, although timeout is configured. Can anyone give me a hint, why these functions (and probably others too) will not return by timeout? best regards

   I can't get my L9663 SPI working. My understanding is that any 32-bit data I send to MOSI will return a 32-bit data from MISO. However, I am not getting any response; MISO remains low the entire time.    I am now using a QFP32 general adapter board to solder the L9663, so I want to use the minimum connections to get the SPI on the L9663 to work. According to the manual, only VB and VDD power supplies are needed to make the SPI work. Are there any other connections that could affect SPI communication?  Now I am planning layout a PCB to solder and include some filter capacitors. Here's my plan. Can anyone help to check if it's complete design (at least the SPI will working well).   VB=VAS=12V,VDD=5V GND1-GND2-DGND connect togetherTM,CLKIN tied to GNDVASSUP tied to GNDBH1,BH2 tied to VB100 nf capactor between VINTD and DGND100nf capacitor between VDD and DGND2.2uf//100nf between VB and GND1

Hi,For my project, I am using an M24M01E-F I2C EEPROM. My application requires writing and reading data page-wise. According to the datasheet, the EEPROM has a capacity of 1 Mbit (128 KB). I need clarification on how many pages I can able  write to using this EEPROM." To clarify, the M24M01E-F EEPROM has a total of 512 pages, with each page being 256 bytes

Hello,I want to change booting logo image on STM32MP135F-DK.1. I checked first boot image.(/boot/splash_landscape.bmp) 2. I want to change second boot image. 3. I checked after booting, backgroud image.(/usr/share/weston/backgrounds/OpenSTLinux_background_1024x600.png)thanks, reply.

Hi, today I found an pretty unusual bug while doing some projects with the USB CDC, my code, out of the blue, showed hundreds of errors, after some diggins, me and a friend, found out that in the usbd_def.h, the TypeDef of "USBD_StatusTypeDef" was changed with an "q", I think it must have been some mistake while updating the libraries. Anyway, just change the letter "q" in the line 209 to "USBD_StatusTypeDef" of the usbd_def.h folder and the errors should disappear.

Hello,I'm trying to start new project which is AVAS PRJ with SPC582B. So, I'm studying it with ST EVK like below.Anyway, When I check pin mode in AutoDevKitStudio, I don't understand exaclty the meaning of pin modes(MODE_IO/MODE_GPI/MODE_OUTPUT/MODE_INPUT/MODE_PI/MODE_EIRQ) like below red circle. Could you let me know about the pin modes??Thanks,

Hi,We have a STM32L031F6 which is used as an RTC. A weird phenomenon is occurring: when the controller goes to sleep, it only uses 2µA, but after 2 minutes and 40 seconds, it starts consuming 50 to 100µA, depending on the hardware board used. There is no external trigger at that moment, so we expect the controller to stay in sleep mode until the next external trigger. However, this consumption is also not enough for the run state of the controller, which consumes +500µA in run mode.As a test, I set up an EXTI input to output mode and toggled the pin when the chip is out of sleep mode. When the power consumption is 2µA, this output is not active. When the consumption is 50-100µA, the output is not active. When the consumption is +500µA, the output toggles as expected.What can cause this behavior? Could there be a problem with the chip itself? We only use the ADC, RTC, I2C, and TIM2 modules.   void ExitStopMode(){ SystemClock_Config(); HAL_ResumeTick(); } void ExitSto

After debugging Window Covering with STM32CubeExpansion_MATTER_V1.0.3, after commissioning with Apple's HomePod, it shows "no response" on the iPhone and cannot be controlled.I debugged that it is calling CHIP_ERROR WiFiDiagosticsAttrAccess::ReadWiFiRssi(AttributeValueEncoder & aEncoder) in wifi-network-diagnostics-server.cpp. Why is it calling this function when it is a threaded device?

I encountered a problem when trying to send more than 5 bytes of data using the FMC. // impossible example -- #define SD_DATA (*(volatile unsigned char *)0x60000001) SD_DATA = 0x01; SD_DATA = 0x02; SD_DATA = 0x03;   Using this method, data is not transmitted to the same address without a delay. However, it is possible to write data to the FMC if I change the address each time I transmit or use a delay.   // possible example -- 1 #define SD_DATA (*(volatile unsigned char *)0x60000001) SD_DATA = 0x01; HAL_Delay(1); SD_DATA = 0x02; HAL_Delay(1); SD_DATA = 0x03; // possible example -- 2 #define SD_DATA1 (*(volatile unsigned char *)0x60000001) #define SD_DATA2 (*(volatile unsigned char *)0x60000002) #define SD_DATA3 (*(volatile unsigned char *)0x60000003) SD_DATA1 = 0x01; SD_DATA2 = 0x02; SD_DATA3 = 0x03;   What could be the problem?   We used the STM32F756, and the following is the FMC initialization. static void MX_FMC_Init(void) { FMC_NORSRAM_TimingTypeDef Ti

Hi to allI got interested on STM32WB55CGU6 which is recently available as a development board found online and in its reference manual I kind of notice that there is no detailed explanation or rather configuration for the Radio CTRL register and BLE Cntrl. Are these suppose to be like this? Any help with you guys. Best regards.

After I updated ST-Link to firmware version V2J43S7 through STM32 Cube Programmer, I can't connect it to my laptop and program my STM32 F405 Feather board. I have attached the error message to this post.

Why isn't VREFBUF enable available in CubeMX for the STM32L432 series? I believe the reference manual says this series has control over the VREFBUF. It also seems there's no struct for VREFBUF control in the stm32l432xx.h file.

Hellois it possible for the microcontroller with USB OTG to download the program memory from the USB stick itself?In other words, change the firmware simply by connecting a USB stick with a .bin file and perhaps by resetting the component.So far I have solved it using two MCUs. One only reads the .bin file from the USB and then uploads it to the target device via the usart bootloader, but this seems too impractical to me.

Hello, I m trying to establish a CANFD communication with an FPGA and an STM32 NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q. I just want the stm32 to transmit data to the FPGA. My colleague did the code for the STM32 and for standard CAN, everything works. I can receive the data and my CRC calculation is the same as the one that i had sent to me.    For the CANFD, the trame is all good until the CRC. He just sends me 1 byte data and the CRC that i can observe is to big for an FDCAN (supposed to be 17 and 21 for more than 16 bytes).  Here is the frame that he sent me: ID : 00000010001 RTR : 0 IDE : 0 CONTROL: 10000001 DATA : 01001000 All the frame : 00000010001001000000101001000 Here is an image of what i can observe : The frame that we can observe is (Start bit in black, stuff_bit :( 0000010010001001000001010100100010110111110111010100110001011111111111111111 If i remove bitstuffing, the begining is the same 00000010001001000000101001000 (frame)    10110111111110101001100010

Hello,I'm using a newly installed STM32CubeIDE on GNU/Linux (Debian/sid, from the .deb provided by ST), without any modification.I create a new STM32 project in an empty workspace. Project creation : Very slow, then unlockTo create this new project it takes 16 minutes. During this time, the UI is stuck in the dialog "Perform Project Creation. Please Wait For Completion ...", and one of the Eclipse processes has the CPU at 100%, and memory close to 2GB (I extended the default max to -Xmx2048m in stm32cubeide.ini), then after ~16 minutes, some things unlock, and the rest of the project creation is completed at expected speed. Build : Very slow, then unlockThen to build that empty project, it takes 4 minutes : Eclipse seems to hang just after calling make, but before make does anything (I added the --trace option to make to check its progress, and it has not yet reached its first step). Then, again, at once something unlocks, and the the build actually take place in the expected

Hello Community... We are working on a project for the automotive area and one of the requirements is that the circuit is powered by a voltage of 5V. We will also have analog inputs that should read values between 0 and 5V. Reading the Reference Manual, we found the "CFlash Nonvolatile User Options register (NVUSRO)" which, according to our understanding, should have its PAD3V5V field written as 0, but we don't know exactly how to change/program the value of this register.On our board the VDD_HV and VDD_HV_ADCx voltages are supplied by 5 volts.All the board's peripherals (CAN/UART/Digital I/O, etc.) are working properly, however, when we put a voltage of 5 V on the pin used as ADC (PF[0],PD[13],PD[14] or PD[15]) it is crimped at a maximum value of 3.4V.Could anyone help us better understand the reason for this maximum voltage at the ADC input and also the procedure for writing to NVUSRO? Thanks in advance.

Hello ST expert,I'd like to control 4 300W motors with the BLDC L6234 and my STM32F401, but the problem is that I can't use 12 TIMERS and 12 GPIOs just for that, I need to interface other modules.Can I just use PWM/BLDC, and interface the two like that?   STM32F401 L6234PD | | | PA6 (PWM) ----------> | EN1 (3) | PA6 (PWM) ----------> | EN2 (6) | PA6 (PWM) ----------> | EN3 (11) | PB0 ----------------> | IN1 (17) | PB1 ----------------> | IN2 (18) | PB2 ----------------> | IN3 (19) | | | | | 11V ----------------| VS (10) | | GND ---------------| GND (1, 2, 7, 16) ----+ | | | | OUT1 (4, 5) -------> Phase U of Motor | | OUT2 (8, 9) -------> Phase V of Motor | | OUT3 (14, 15) -----> Phase W of Motor   Best regard.

Hello, I am writing FDCAN driver filtering function for the open source ChibiOS RTOS, both for FdCanV2(H7) and FdCanV1(G4) For the H7 side, all went easy, and the driver works as intended. On the G4 side,  FdCanV1 is a bit simpler (the ram buffer is not shared between interfaces, and  sections size are fixed) so it should be even easier, but that's not the case and I am unable to filter. What I do to enable filtering is : ° enable configuration change :  setting FDCAN_CCCR_CCE | FDCAN_CCCR_INIT in CCCR register ° setting fields in RXGFC register : reject non filtered frame, and setting number of filters ° setting filters in the ram buffer at the SRAMCAN_FLESA position, in my case for FDCAN1 interface, it is 0x4000a5c0 for extended filters ° removing FDCAN_CCCR_INIT in CCCR register ° using debugger, I tested that RXGFC has the expected value, and that ram buffer contains the expected filters ° XIDAM global mask is left at init value (no global masking done) Without
