1. Regarding the development board: Does EV-L99LDLH32GEN require an external driver to work? Or does the development board come with its own driver chip? 2. In addition to driving LEDs, can it also drive other loads?   This post has been translated from Chinese to comply with the ST Community guidelines.

I am trying to use google test on a project in the cube IDE. I am using a sample "hello world" project. I have referenced various tutorials and instructions and here are my settings. My google test library is downloaded via msys2 and I am running a PC build with the latest installed cubeIDE, msys2 etc. C++ and C compilers. C++ linker:However, I am getting the following errors:It seems to me that the C++ standard is the cause. But I have change the compiler to use various C++ standards and I still get this error. Would appreciate if I can get some help on this. I will provide additional detail if needed. Thank you.

Hello, everyone. I need to generate a stable 12V to supply my cooling fan (current consumption not over 200-300mA). The input voltage is in the range of 10V to 26V. Consequently, some buck/boost topology will be needed. I came across the MCP34063 module. It is clear from the datasheet that it can work in the following topologies:Step-up Step-downVoltage invertingI wonder if there is a possibility to configure MCP3406 to work in both step-up and step-down modes and generate stable 12V at the output for the input voltages in a range from 10V to 26V?Thank you very much guys for your time and efforts. Your help is really appreciated. Looking forward to reading from you. Sincerely,Bojan.

I've successfully implemented a small machine learning model on the STM32F303ZE, and it's working well so far. However, I’m curious about the maximum size of the model that this microcontroller can handle. Has anyone experimented with larger models on the STM32F303ZE? What are the limitations in terms of model size, and at what point should I consider switching to another board?

After I installed the CubeIDE (STM32CubeIDE-Mac) on my mac with the delivered iinstaller, I cannot find the CubeIDE what is the name of the application? in which folder it is installed?

Hi,Master:platform: STM32G070CBphenomenon:When the MCU is empty (without any program), connect an external pull-up resistor 10K to the adjustable voltage source on the PA4 pin, adjust the voltage in the range of 4~18V, and find that the maximum clamp of the PA4 pin is about 5V, and then test that the pin is not damaged     I suspect that this phenomenon was formed by the TVS tubes connected in parallel at the time.My questions are:Q1. Is there a TVS tube inside to the ground ？Q2. What are the breakdown and recovery voltages for the TT_x and FT_x type pins?Q3. The external voltage passes through the resistor to the pin, no matter how large the external voltage is, just make sure that the pin voltage is within the maximum range (the table below) when designing, right? For example, if 20V passes through a 33K resistor to a FT_a type pin, this pin is configured to open the drain, and the test is tested as long as the voltage on the pin is < VDD + 4.0 &n

I have the STEVAL-56G3MAI1 evaluation kit for the VD56G3 image sensor and the STEVAL-EVK-U0I1 to connect and take snapshots from the sensor.  I have been looking into script generation and register setting and I would like to set the exposure time to be a known duration in microseconds.  I referenced UM2602 titled "How to integrate and configure the VD56G3, VD66GY, and VD16GZ devices from a hardware and software perspective", which contains all the register configuration information for this sensor.  Section 14.7.2 of UM2602 is for configuring the manual exposure and it talks about a register called "MANUAL_COARSE_EXPOSURE".  The description of the "MANUAL_COARSE_EXPOSURE" register is "Integration time is controlled by the MANUAL_COARSE_EXPOSURE register. The value is expressed in line equivalent".  The manual also states that the value is a 16-bit unsigned integer. However, there is no information in the manual for how to configure this value to set the manual

Hello @STTwo-32 , @Remi QUINTIN  A quick question regarding the development for our Bluetooth product, we have gone through your product portfolio of the STM32WB series which has several options to choose. We have the analyzed the following scenario The First one we choose is STM32WB55 MCU, which is a dual core with M4 and MO cores for application development of the BLE. The Second option, we have is STM32WB0 MCU, which contains only MO core, which needs to be controlled via an external MCU such as STM32H series with some common communication interfaces such as SPI or UART. Can you suggest us, which one to choose in order to be more flexible in Hardware design, programming and certification for the Bluetooth product?

Hello, is there any simple example for (STM32G0B1CBT6) or similar where I can simply filter int genration for eg. only for 0x505 id in standart mode. Hello Team,We have been using the STM8 series for the low level Application projects. Due to Obsolete of the STM8, we have been moved to STM32C0 chips. But we are facing a problem with the program memory which the code generator occupies more space only for the Simple ADC, GPIO, Timer Initializations. We used 8KB chips in STM8 series for the same application. Now we changed to STM32C011F4P6 chip 16KB chip. This STM32 Cube IDE code generator itself takes the 75% of the memory for simple Initialization. Please help me out of this problem and provide a solution to it.  Kind Regards,Nishanth M

Hey everyone,I have been sitting on this problem for a couple of days where I have been trying to use f_mount on a 8GB SD card (I formatted it to FAT32 and to a sector size of 4096.) I am also copying a very popular library by eziya: https://blog.naver.com/eziya76/221188701172. The chip I am using on my NUCLEO board is a STM32F103RB.Although the program is very simple, no matter what I do, the SD card never gets mounted. When trying to read the available space and the total space, it always returns 0.Here is my code for the main loop: FATFS fs; FIL fil; FRESULT fresult; char buffer[1024]; UINT br, bw; FATFS *pfs; DWORD fre_clust; uint32_t total, free_space;fresult = f_mount(&fs, "", 1); printf("%d \n", fresult); if (fresult != FR_OK) printf("Unsuccessful again\n"); else printf("Mounted successfully! \n"); f_getfree("", &fre_clust, &pfs); total = (uint32_t)((pfs->n_fatent - 2) * pfs->csize * 0.5); printf("Total size: \t%lu\n",total); free_space = (uint32_t

Hi ST, I have just discovered, that the STM32CubeProgrammer will suggest a firmware update. When running "Help Button | Software Update" it appears... For my understanding it's a downgrade, that will be introduced Think this is bug. Best regards, Chrstian

Hi :)I have a custom board where I need to use the ethernet interface. Starting with a NUCLEO-H563ZI I ported the NetXDuo TCP Server Echo example to my board. When I'm using the example as expected with a DHCP server connected (e.g. ethernet connection to a router or switch) then everything works. I can use the board in debug mode or in release mode. My goal is to connect the board directly to my Mac (or any other laptop) and assign a fixed IP address to the MCU. This works fine when I'm in a debugging session. In release mode I cannot establish a connection as a TCP client.Does anybody has an idea how to find the problem? As you can see in the following code of app_netxduo.c I just removed the DHCP things in the CubeMX configuration and added the IP address and net mask."app_netxduo.h" /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file app_netxduo.h * @author MCD Application Team * @brief NetXDuo applicat

Hello，I am using the STM32MP135DAF7 chip for bare metal development, and now I have encountered a problem. Specifically, I have transplanted the FreeRTOS system on this chip, and in the boot_develop mode, I can run FreeRTOS normally, that is, ddr_init->FreeRTOS_app, but I burned the .stm32 file (bin signature file) of FreeRTOS_app into EMMC and used it as boot_EMMC startup. After the program is powered on, FreeRTOS_app did not run successfully; I used the FSBLA_EMMC program to debug and found that the FSBLA_EMMC program has run successfully and copied the second-stage app code to DDR, but the subsequent second-stage FreeRTOS_app still did not run successfully. Can anyone help me analyze what the problem is? If it is not FreeRTOS, but other app codes, such as lighting, they can be started normally.

Hello,I’m using two STM32 F4 boards to continuously send and receive data over SPI communication. The first board is configured as the Master and only transfers data, while the second board is configured as the Slave and only receives data.I have already manually checked my data using an oscilloscope and debug tools, and I receive exactly the data I transmit. Now, I use a checksum to verify the integrity of my data. I have two problems:On Master Side: The sprintf() function alters my data. When I use sprintf() on the Master side, I get different checksum values even if I transfer the same data. I resolved this problem by using memcpy(), but this complicates things when adding several parameter values into the buffer. Do you know a better solution if I want to do something like sprintf((char *)data_tx.msg, "IdFrame%d", IdFrame) where I can easily load the buffer with several parameters without altering it?On Slave Side: I compute the checksums directly f
