I am looking for an evaluation board for Smart Key/Digital Key application development. Specifically, I need a board that supports NFC, UWB, and BLE with library support. Expecting support to finalize hardware platform

Hi, I am developing SPC58EG in SPC5 Studio.I want to use I2C communication with a RTC device.However, I cannot find any example for I2C in the IDE.How do I get the reference to develop I2C?Thank you.

Hi,I am attempting to get two B-WB1M-WPAN1 boards to connect to each other, one acting as a server and one acting as a client. I am fairly new to ST programming and thus I rely heavily on the examples and documentation to guide me. I have found an example p2p server project using the cube IDE which works well, I am also able to connect to my phone and communicate with this server.My problem lies in attempting to create a client project for my WPAN1 board which can connect to the server WPAN1. I cannot find any examples or documentation for this? I have seen similar examples for other MCUs but I have struggled to emulate this on a WPAN1. Is there any example client projects out there worth looking at or perhaps some good documentation for this?I have also tried using the template for WPAN1 BLE using the MX configurator following this tutorial:STM32WB Getting Started Series: Part 12b, Lab. Receiving data from the phone (youtube.com)This appears to make a template project capable of conne

Hi,I designed a sw on STM32F746 with STM32CubeIDE.Some functions work fine when I use the debugger (ST-LINK) but this same functions halts when I don't use the debugger !I play se sequence hereafter : - run the sw using debugger : execution ok- exit de debugger session into the STM32CubeIDE, the sw still running well- disconnect physically the ST-LINK, the sw still running well- reset my board, the functions halt before end execution !!! (others functions work fine) Someone can help me, please ?

I am having  trouble with my new board , in device manager I see my board as undefined USB device and error code number:10 after downgrade onboard STlink I have this issue (current version: stlink-V2.J21.S4.).Not all STM32 drivers are installed because I can't download any kind of software from ST.com (I don't know why) .

Hello! I've been trying to use lwIP library with my STM32F769I-DISCO development board to assign IP address to the microcontroller. While in debug mode everything works fine, in normal mode, however, it doesn't. I had to add two 1s delays before MX_GPIO_Init();MX_LWIP_Init() instructions and SystemClock_Config() instruction to make my program work outside of debug mode (they can be replaced with one 2s delay before GPIO and LWIP init functions).The code is presented below:<code>/* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/#include "main.h"#include "lwip.h"/* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*//* USER CODE BEGIN PV */extern ETH_HandleTypeDef heth;extern struct netif gnetif;/* USER CODE END PV *//* Private function prototypes -----------------------------------------------*/void SystemClock_Config(void);static void MPU_Config(void);static void MX_GPIO_Init(void);int main(void){  /* MPU Configuration--

Hi everyone, I'm trying to create an example following this article. I'm using the STM32F429I-DISC1 evaluation board and using X-CUBE-AZRTOS-F4.1.0.0 software package. https://community.st.com/s/article/how-to-create-a-thread-using-azurertos-and-stm32cubeideI have one problem that the thread gets suspended forever when calling the tx_thread_sleep(ULONG timer_ticks) function. My source code and configuration is basically the same as that in the article. Do you guys have any idea what's the problem is? For your information, I create a TX_TIMER in parallel to interrupt every 10 ticks to check if the system tick timer is running. The timer is created successfully (return TX_SUCCESS), but unfortunately it doesn't run either. When I delete tx_thread_sleep(), everything, including the timer, works normally. I also try to create two threads A and B. Both can only run once and get suspended forever. And it works when I delete the tx_thread_sleep(). VOID my_thread_entry(ULONG initial_input) { T

I'm trying to acquire data from 3 sensor simultaneously using Triple Mode. Im using TIM 2 TRGO as a trigger for starting ADC. my data are getting correctly generated in the respective DR registers of ADCs but not in Common register ADC->CDR where it is supposed to have the data void adc_init(void){ // Enable clock RCC -> AHB1ENR |= (1U << 0); //Clock For GPIOA RCC -> AHB1ENR |= (1U << 22); //Clock for DMA2 RCC -> APB2ENR |= (1U << 8); //Clock for ADC1 RCC -> APB2ENR |= (1U << 9); //Clock for ADC2 RCC -> APB2ENR |= (1U << 10); //Clock for ADC3 //Config GPIO GPIOA -> MODER |= (1U << 2) | (1U <<3); //Analog mode PA1 GPIOA -> MODER |= (1U << 4) | (1U <<5); //Analog mode PA2 GPIOA -> MODER |= (1U << 6) | (1U << 7); //Analog mode PA3 //Triple Mode ADC1, ADC2, ADC3 ADC->CCR |= (0x0016); // Triple Regular Simultaneous Mode //ADC1 Config //Select channel ADC1 -> SQR3 &= ~(

Simple question, I'm trying to locate a user manual for STM32U5xx HAL library but can't find it. The official STM32U5 ST page doesn't provide it. And neither does the STM32CubeU5. Does this mean it doesn't exit yet? But if code is there, then it should since HAL libraries usually use Doxygen generated docs.On the other hand can I just use STM32L5xx HAL documentation or like? How different from STM32U5xx HAL is STM32L5 HAL?

This is a question about automatically generated code.When we change the ioc file in STM32CubeIDE, there is some code that We don't want to be overwritten by the automatic generation. How can we avoid this?Specifically, We have changed the value of HAL_StatusTypeDef in stm32f4xx_hal_def.h as follows. We don't want this to be overwritten.   typedef enum { HAL_OK = 0x01U, HAL_ERROR = 0x02U, HAL_BUSY = 0x04U, HAL_TIMEOUT = 0x08U } HAL_StatusTypeDef;

CubeMX does not provide the option to choose whether GPIO pins should be initialized from the CM0+ or CM4 core. As a result, the generated code lacks GPIO clock definitions, GPIO ports, and pins. This prevents further progress and requires manual description of GPIO port initialization for each of the cores.If for each STM32 core, CubeMX generated at least a list of ports and assigned pins as definitions, GPIO initialization according to requirements would be faster.

Hello all, I have a fundamental question, I hope it is easy for somebody who has done this before.I started a brand new project for a STM32H7A3VITxQ on Firmware package FW_H7 V1.11.2STM32CubeIDEVersion: 1.16.0Build: 21983_20240628_1741 (UTC)Updated the clock to 280 Mhz (max allowed), and tried to enable OCTOSPI2 for HyperBus (or Octo SPI) but these options are not enabled.Is there something that I'm missing to be able to enable OctoSpi or Hyperbus?

Hi,I would like to use the STM32WBA55 controller and forward the clock of the HSE to the MCO pin. The data sheet states that this is only possible for internal clocks:Clock-out capability:– MCO (microcontroller clock output): outputs one of the internal clocks for externaluse by the application. (only available in Run, Sleep and Stop mode)– LSCO (low-speed clock output): outputs LSI or LSE in all operating modes.According to the block diagram (see attachment), however, this should be possible.

Hi, we are working with a STM32F217 and the RMII bus.In the two documents reported I see an inconsistency on the diagrams (on the one hand rising edge sampling, on the other falling edge). Which one is correct for my chip?RM0033 Figure 328 Reference Manual (01 Mar 2021) DS6697 Figure 48Product Specification (05 Sep 2016)  BRStefano

Dear allI'm starting a design with the  STM32L412R8I (or  maybe STM32L412RBI6) and I cannot find the VBUS dedicated pin in the datasheet nor in the manual. In this design the USB will be always device (no OTG)Is it enough to have VDDUSB powered to detect a bus connection? Additionally, the design is going to be battery powered and be disconnected from the USB bus most of the time. Can I have the microcontroller powered by its regular power pins (VBAT, VDD, VDDA) and power VDDUSB only when the device gets attached to an USB bus? Thanks in advanceIgnacio

Hi,I am using board STM32MP157F-DK2. The TZC controller used here is TZC-400. Does this works only for DDR addresses, i.e. 0xC000 0000 - 0xEFFF FFFF? Or I can set other addresses outside the DDR range? Can you please help with more details. Regards,debashis

Hi:I am trying to use en.STSW-IMG037 (VL53L7CX_GUI_v2.2.29009) software to evaluate the VL53L7CX ToF sensor. I implemented firmware on the NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q board with VL53L7CX sensor from Pololu based on the firmware example in the "en.X-CUBE-TOF1\Projects\NUCLEO-F401RE\Examples\CUSTOM\VL53L7CX_SimpleRanging. I initialized the UART with 460800 baud and sensor is dumping the data on a terminal software. The next step, I would like to use the GUI software installed in the en.STSW-IMG037 to evaluate the sensor. I launched the software, and it detect the ST-LINK. However, the "Connect" button is still graded out. Do you have any guideline how to format the serial data? Can I use the software with the board other than NUCLEO-F401RE and NUCLEO-L476RG boards?Please let me know if anyone has success on the software. Thanks!

We are working on a product on the STM32WB55 that is hard faulting when trying to modify AES2 peripheral registers while actively bonded to a Windows PC over BLE.What we discovered is that we can use AES2 to encrypt and decrypt just fine, but the moment I bond to a Windows PC and attempt the same encryption/descryption we bus fault, the bus fault is trying to write a 0 to the control register 0x58001800.  My assumption is that when the CPU2 is bonded with the Windows PC it blocks access to the AES2 registers from CPU1 as a security measure.  I cannot find confirmation of this in any of the reference documentations.I confirmed that when I remove the bond on the Windows PC then perform the encryption using AES2 it works, and when I bond with the Windows PC the AES bus faults trying to access the registers.Does the STM32WB55 CPU2 restrict AES2 peripheral access to CPU1 when the CPU2 establishes a bonded connection over BLE?

Hello, my problem, that uIP-Stack has TCP-Retransmissions with HTTP-trafic. That was observed with Wireshark. The same uIP-Stack works at STM32F7 properly. I'm not sure about Settings in CubeMX with Descriptor Address and Size. My settings are like follows:  with this setting I have followed Error inside uVision5 (compiler version 5):Spoiler (Highlight to read)Error: L6984E: AT section main.o(.ARM.__AT_0x2400060F) has required base address 0x2400060f which is not aligned to section alignment 0x00000004.Error: L6984E: AT section main.o(.ARM.__AT_0x2400060F) has required base address 0x2400060f which is not aligned to section alignment 0x00000004.Could someone explain how to set Descriptors inside CubeMX properly and get Ethernet work reliable for HTTP trafic?

Hey !!I'm new to the world of NFC, and I'm currently developing an application to communicate with a product (connected padlock) as part of my work. I know that we use mailBox for our orders. In practice, to unlock the padlock the command: 35FF1234EEEEEEEE40FFFFFFFF0000 is used. I can read the basic info: 022B, I can also read the FTM value: 02A0020D, but I can't send my order. I tried with the AA command. But nothing works, can someone help me?Thanks in advance

I'm using ADC1 to measure the Temperature Sensor channel and the Vrefint channel. I expect those to vary very slowly and I am in not in a hurry so I am maximizing the sampling time. These are my settings in STM32CubeIDE:It generates the following in main.c:   static void MX_ADC1_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 0 */ LL_ADC_InitTypeDef ADC_InitStruct = {0}; LL_ADC_REG_InitTypeDef ADC_REG_InitStruct = {0}; LL_ADC_CommonInitTypeDef ADC_CommonInitStruct = {0}; /* Peripheral clock enable */ LL_AHB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB2_GRP1_PERIPH_ADC); /* ADC1 DMA Init */ /* ADC1 Init */ LL_DMA_SetPeriphRequest(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1, LL_DMA_REQUEST_0); LL_DMA_SetDataTransferDirection(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1, LL_DMA_DIRECTION_PERIPH_TO_MEMORY); LL_DMA_SetChannelPriorityLevel(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1, LL_DMA_PRIORITY_MEDIUM); LL_DMA_SetMode(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1, LL_DMA_MODE_CIRCULAR); LL_DMA_SetPeriphIncMode(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHAN

Hello, I have a question: Is the NFC technology in the iPhone always active, even if the Wallet app is not in use? I mean, is it always emitting RF radiation to read/write?
