Datasheet says these readers support ISO/IEC 15693 standard for vicinity cards. I need a system with high reliability (99%) read for distances up to 1 meter (0.5-0.7 m as the most probable range). Can I use this IC for building such reader alone, or I need additional RF components? What size the antenna should be?Also, what kind of tags will work best? I can make powered tag as well, but I need min 6 month battery life on something like CR2032.

1 The code was generated by STMCube and the MCU is stm32f030k6t62 I use 8M HSI RC as clock source .3 If I set SYSCLK to 8M (use HSI RC directly), the code can work on the board correctly 4 if I set SYSCLK to 48M (use PLLMUL). the code didn't work at all . 5 I just toggle a LED based on the generated code . 6 why did we can't use PLLMUL with STMCube?

Hello,I enter the shutdown mode with the following code statementHAL_PWR_EnableWakeUpPin( PWR_WAKEUP_PIN1_LOW ); HAL_PWR_DisableWakeUpPin( PWR_WAKEUP_PIN2 ); HAL_PWR_DisableWakeUpPin( PWR_WAKEUP_PIN3 ); HAL_PWR_DisableWakeUpPin( PWR_WAKEUP_PIN4 ); HAL_PWR_DisableWakeUpPin( PWR_WAKEUP_PIN5 );   __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF1); __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF2); __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF3); __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF4); __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF5); HAL_PWREx_DisableInternalWakeUpLine();   HAL_PWREx_EnterSHUTDOWNMode( );If I wake up the system with PWR_WAKEUP_PIN1, I set the GPIO15 from PORTH to high.I initialized the PORT and GPIO (CubeMX generates the code). The result is that the system is hanging. If I reset the GPIO to low before entering the shutdown mode, everything is working fine.Am I missing something? Maybe someone can explain me if I doing something wrong. Is there any bug know that happens when using shutdownMode on STM32L4+ series? Thanks.

Hey everyone,I have an stm32f722ze, The sdcard driver seems to be working well although I have a weird issue.I have a secondary mcu that also needs to access the sdcard. The secondary mcu can succesfully mount and unmount the sdcard multiple times, although as soon as the stm mounts the sdcard, the secondary mcu can not mount the sdcard at all. I do close the file, unmount and unlink the driver, but it doesn't seem to work. As soon as I erase the flash of the stm, the secondary mcu access the sdcard without issue. How could I resolve this? Here's an example of a test snippet, after this executes, I'm assuming that the stm has left the sdcard, although it seems the stm seems to hold onto it.void SDcard(void) { FATFS_UnLinkDriver(SDPath); FATFS_LinkDriver(&SD_Driver, SDPath); mount_ret = f_mount(&SDFatFS, SDPath, 1); if (mount_ret == FR_OK) { open_ret = f_open(&SDFile, "test.txt", FA_CREATE_ALWAYS | FA_WRITE); f_close(&SDFile); umount_ret = f_mount(&SDFatFS, S

Hi all,I have a custom board I have designed with an STM32F070CBT6 on it. Currently it is only populated with the power regulator, one led hooked up to pin PA1 and the debug header.I've used STM32CubeMX to generate a simple test project that initialises the SysTick timebase source, and GPIO on pin PA1. It is clocked using the internal HSI RC oscillator at 8Mhz.When I build and debug the project using SW4STM32 the debugger steps over HAL_Init(), SystemClock_Config(), and MX_GPIO_Init() successfully, but hangs shortly after that. E.g. if I put the following in the main() while loop: while (1) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(STATUS_LED_GPIO_Port, STATUS_LED_Pin); HAL_Delay(500); }It will step over the call to HAL_GPIO_TogglePin succesfully turning on the LED, but then hangs at HAL_Delay(500);If I put a breakpoint in the SysTick_Handler(void) function in stm32f0xx_it.c it never gets hit. It appears like the interrupts aren't firing.I've attached my CubeMX project file in case that is of hel

In all of my projects I have my own bootloader which is located at 0x8000000 and is specially designed to communicate with my own Windows universal Flasher-Tool. My bootloader initializes necessary components for the needed communication ports (e.g. USB) and looks into a defined flash address (0x08020000) for a start address of the final application. This is flashed by the bootloader after the final application has been loaded to the application sectors (0x08080000 in this case). If a correct address is read, then the bootloader deactivates Interrupts, unitializes components and jumps to the start-address + 4.This handling works perfectly on my multiple other projects with STM32F4 and STM32F7 processors. Now with the STM32H7 this does not work. The system simply crashes after the jump to 0x8080000 + 4.I took care that the interrupt vectors are linked to the correct offset, have set SCB->VTOR to the offset 0x80000 and when I compare the flash memory with the hex file, all looks as exp

Hello, I am using STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.21.0 library version.I would like to implement USB mass storage device example along with SDIO interface. When I connect my STM32 device with the PC, I wish to see my SD card content on my PC.I made some configuration in the cubemx. However it is not working.Could someone share a working copy ?Do I need to modify the content of the "usbd_storage_if.c" file ?

I'm a beginner. I'd appreciate your help.

When I compile and download the code. I see a USB problem. What could be the possible solution ?

Hi Everyone,I am Using the L6MSDL chip for my application (connected to a STM32L4) in FIFO Continuous Mode and I am having some troubles understanding the FIFO pattern that we can read in FIFO_STATUS3 register. I configured the LSM6DSL The following way :-         Accelerometer ODR = Gyroscope ODR = FIFO ODR = 413 Hz-         No decimation-         Only accelerometer and gyroscope data sets are stored in fifo-         BDU Block Update is enabled-         FIFO Is in continuous modeI read periodically what is stored in FIFO. To know how much data is stored, I read the FIFO_STATUS1 and FIFO_STATUS2 registers. I make sure to read a multiple of 6 data sets each time (3 gyroscope data and 3 accelerometer data)I read fast enough so no data is overwritt

hey there,I bought me STM32 ST NUCLEO-L432KC for getting more into ProgrammingMicrocontrollers. In School i have already Programmed an ARM Coretex M3 Development board. There i had a Manualwith descriptions of the Controllers Registers, and how they are to use.I searched for such kind of document for the Nucleo L432KC but didn’tfound anything witch helped me.So now I’m a little bitt confused. Is there existing anything like this, or is it common to Initialize themodules with the help of CubeMX and only using the Functions of the core libraries?or maybe I’m just to stupid to understand the documents I have found :P.

Posted on January 15, 2017 at 23:06Hello I am reporting a bug generated by cubemx in the file stm32f4xx_hal_sd.c.Please read the thread: https://community.st.com/0D50X00009XkfctSAB , https://community.st.com/0D50X00009XkeRpSAJ Here is the thing:1. Pack version: STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.13.0, Cubemx 4.16.1. The uSD card I tested is 1GB made in japan.2. The lib for microSD and file is generated by cubemx wizard.3. I tested the microSD on the chip STM32F405RGT6 . . 4. The problem I confronted is that initialization of sd card always fails, but everything goes through smoothly if I reset the chip(via nrst). Weird? Make the story short. Initialization of SD card fails in the function: SD_PowerON(SD_HandleTypeDef *hsd) with error code SD_COM_CRC_FAILED. Note the function is defined in the file: stm32f4xx_hal_sd.c5. I moved the HAL_Delay(1) to after clock_enable in the function SD_PowerON , everything is working well.I am not su

Usually with STM32 development boards I am able to see a virtual com port/serial port when I hook the board up to a computer via USB. This board, the F0308-DISCO, seems to have the TX/RX pair for UART communication between the target MCU and the ST-LINK MCU, but no such port is visible on the computer. I am using macOS and have updated the debug probe to it's newest firmware version using the STM32CubeProgrammer tool. Is there a special driver needed for this board (seems unlikely as the boards seem to have a common implementation of the ST-LINK probe), or some other reason why the VCP will not show up? I have come to rely on this functionality quite a bit in my development process, as the semihosting print capability is extremely slow. Thanks in advance.

Hi,I am using the X-NUCLEO-NFC04A1 and I am trying to write multiple types NDEFs but only the latest one is read by my phone. Is there any way that I can write some NDEF records? Thank you very much, Best regards, Duy

Is have support this chip in flashloader?

I implement a SPI slave protocol on a STM32F0 board. After the master as transferred a command to the slave, it polls in regular intervals by reading one byte off the slave until the slave sends a start byte of value 0xFF.in the attached screenshot, the bottom channel is pulled low immediately before the call to HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA (flag A1). Shortly thereafter (20us) the master pulls the CSS line low and transfers one byte. However, it appears the shift register is overwritten during the transfer, leading to corrupt data (value 0x7F instead of 0xFF) transmitted. It would appear that the DMA transfer to the SPI peripheral does not take the BUSY flag into account. Is there a fix a or a workaroung for this issue that ensures data integrity? Since the slave has no control over when the master initiates a transfer, how can I ensure this kind of error does not occur?

I can't find an svd file for the STM32F415 https://www.st.com/resource/en/svd/stm32f4_svd.zip does not contain a svd file for the STM32F415 series is one of the contained ones 100% compatible?  STM32F401.svd*  STM32F405.svd*  STM32F407.svd*  STM32F410.svd*  STM32F411.svd*  STM32F412.svd*  STM32F413.svd*  STM32F427.svd*  STM32F429.svd*  STM32F446.svd*  STM32F469.svd*

Hello,I am trying to debug STM32F072 chip using ST-LINK on mb1076 Discovery board. STM32F072 is on custom board. It is powered from 3.3V except Vddio2 pin which is powered from 1.8V. I am able to program chip but when I try to debug it I get output Remote debugging using 127.0.0.1:20090x1fffcc28 in ?? I am trying to calculate the matching network for my project. In the Antenna Matching document it is mentioned that the incoming signals at RFI pins must be limited to 2.5Vpp. So my question is how to design this voltage divider network? Tool gives me 10pF and 150pF values, but how can I confirm this? It would be very helpful if someone can post a detailed answer about the voltage divider network. Also, the matching network I calculated comes out to be 210pF and 41pF whereas the tool gives me 199pF and 41pF. Is this tolerance acceptable? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!! :)

Greetings, I'm using an STM32L496. I have a peripheral connected to PE11, which I have configured as an interrupt on the rising edge. I have another circuit connected to PA11, which is normally an input. So far no problem. In order to do a self test, I briefly configure PA11 to a rising interrupt as well, then when the test is over I switch it back to an input. This has the side effect of also disabling the interrupt on PE11. I have to explicitly reconfigure the GPIO settings for PE11 to get the interrupt working again. It seems like there is an issue in the HAL driver that is failing to handle the GPIO port correctly. Has anyone seen this behavior?Ricardo

Hi.I wonder if it is possible to disable the I2c interface via CTRL REG2?in 7.7 in the datasheet it seems to be possible, but specification for bit 3 seems strange:[3] I²C enable (0: I2C enable;1: SPI disable)Is above this correct in the datasheet? it shouldn't be:[3] I²C enable (0: I2C enable;1: I2C disable) ?https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/dm00066332.pdf(I know CS-signal is used to use SPI/I2c, but I want to know if it is possible to completely disable the I2c-part)For LSP25HB it looks different in the datasheet for this bit....Best RegardsFredrik

im using STM32F030R8T6 (nucleo F030R8 board)i tried to enable SPI2 peripheral clock, but i cant find any line in stm32f0xx_hal_rcc.h to enable spi2 clock, but there is macro for SPI1__HAL_RCC_SPI1_CLK_ENABLE()only few marcos for RCC_APB1ENR present in stm32f0xx_hal_rcc.h is there any reason for this.or iam i missed any configuration for stm32f030R8firmware: STM32Cube_FW_F0_V1.9.0

Hello all,I followed the reference manual to determine VDDA for STM32L476VET6, using the VREFINT measured value together with the calibration value using following code: if (HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1,100) == HAL_OK) {ADC_measure_VREF = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); ADC_cal_value = (*VREFINT_CAL_ADDR);VREF_VOLTAGE = 3000*ADC_cal_value/ADC_measure_VREF;sprintf(str1,"VREF_CAL: %u\r\n",(unsigned int)ADC_cal_value); sprintf(str2,"VREF_MEAS: %u\r\n",(unsigned int)ADC_measure_VREF); sprintf(str3,"VDDA: %umV\r\n",(unsigned int)VREF_VOLTAGE);HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t *)str1, 16, 100); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t *)str2, 17, 100); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t *)str3, 16, 100); }As result I get 3425mV - which is impossible...VREFINT_CAL is 1658, that seems right. VREFINT_DATA (measured ADC value) is 1425. This value also doesn't change with time. ADC clock is 32Mhz, Asynchronous clock mode with Prescaler 128 and I use 640.5 cycles conversion time. V
