I am trying to achieve read range of 10cm or more on an antenna attached to M24SR chip. I am currently getting a read range of 5.5cm How can I increase the read range?Thanks in advance.

I need to specify an RFID IC for bidirectional data exchange with an Android mobile phone. I will be using the NFC to update the firmware on an MCU in the system with a flash size of 32kB. The other application is the for the system to transfer up to 64kB of data to the phone. I'm finding it difficult to understand the differences between the ST25 chips, some use case examples would be helpful. Thanks for any advice.

i am using the STM32L4 Nucleo board L4R5ZI .i am trying to configure i2c to read time from the RTC DS3231.but i am getting only data as zero.what may be the issue.i have attached the code.kindly help..

I'm having problems to read my current sensor, which is located at the source leg of a power transistor. I'm using the sensor TLI4970This is my routine every 10ms:HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_5, GPIO_PIN_RESET); //Bring slave select low   HAL_SPI_Receive(&hspi1, (uint8_t *)&SPIRx, 2, 10); //Receive data   HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_5, GPIO_PIN_SET); //Bring slave select highHowever, I get random values even when the current is zero. I'm getting values like:0x88000x88030x88010xA7FF0x87FC0x97FE0xA8020xA8010x97FD0x87FD0xA8000xA7FEAccording to the datasheet, these are sensor status messages, but none of them are Sensor Current Messages. The hardware seems okay. This sensor is not so common I think. I haven't found much help. Am I doing something wrong in software?

Hello,I'm following this guide (https://mcuoneclipse.com/2015/08/22/debugging-stm32f103rb-nucleo-board-with-with-segger-j-link/)The board I am using is NUCLEO-L4R5ZI. I've connected the following pins to the 10-pin ARM connector: I've also tied the VDD_Target/VTref pin to 3.3V. When I launch Keil uVision5, I go to Project options and select the debugger. I am getting a "RDDI-DAP Error". Please do not suggest I use the built in ST-LinkV2 debugger as a solution. Thank you for your help!

I have F303RE.The pin config are:The ADC config is:The Adc init code is generated as well the Analog Gpios. That is not a problem.I want to read one after each other. I added a function to select to config, but I dont know what SHould I pass the rank or the channel (or both). Here is the Adc select channel or rank function.void select_adc(uint32_t rank_or_channel) { ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig; sConfig.Channel = rank_or_chammel; // ADC_CHANNEL_1; sConfig.Rank = rank_or_chammel; // ADC_REGULAR_RANK_1; sConfig.SingleDiff = ADC_SINGLE_ENDED; sConfig.SamplingTime = ADC_SAMPLETIME_1CYCLE_5; sConfig.OffsetNumber = ADC_OFFSET_NONE; sConfig.Offset = 0; if (HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel(&hadc1, &sConfig) != HAL_OK) {   _Error_Handler(__FILE__, __LINE__);   }   }    And here is how do I call it. int RORC=1; // PA0=1 PA1=2 PA2=3 while ( 1 ) { HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); select_adc(RORC ); if(HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, 1000) == HAL_OK) {

I have 3 of the ST25R3911B-Disco boards and they are working great with discovery gui version 1.1.22.0 on a windows 10 pro machine. I needed to set up a second pc and can now only get the gui version 1.2.2 when I try to connect to the new version I first had to upgrade my boards according to the new gui. But I could not do this using the version 1.2.2 it keep failing. I used my gui version 1.1.22 and was able to update the board with the 1.2 version firmware but when I try to use the version 1.2 gui it works a couple times then gives me a packet info error and drops out. If I connect the board with the 1.2 firmware to the gui with the 1.1.22 everything is good. Any ideas on what he issue could be? How can I get the gui version 1.1.22 since is seems to work better than the new version?

Why does STMCubeMX (version 4.27) not provide I2S configuration for STM32F3xx parts?I have inspected the underlying F3 firmware source (current version) and all the I2S registers for SPI2 and SPI3 are present however the HAL driver source is hard coded to force any SPI interfac with I2S support to always be in SPI mode.Is there an issue with STMCubeMX or is the I2S feature in STM32F3xx series MCU's broken and STM is preventing us from using it?... Hi. Can you help me to get last version cube mx under Windows XP. Thank you.

Getting this error when trying to install flash memory or eeprom emulation software from eclipse marketplace in spc5 studio. ver 5.8.0Thanks in advanceRegards:

I am using a STM32F072 microcontroller with a matrix keypad. The matrix pins are essentially bit banged, using ODR mask commands. When I set up a timer(doesn't matter which one) and I use the timers interrupt (update and a single capture compare) to toggle a pin (manually) it seems to be late processing some of the capture compare and update interrupts. This results in a waveform that looks like this:Even weirder it doesn't appear to have anything to-do with the speed of the interrupt, as I get the same result at 100KHz as I do 1KHz (as seen above).The code to setup the timer is as follows:CR1().UDIS() = true; //Disable updates CR1().CEN() = false; //Disable counter CR1().CMS() = 0; //Edge aligned mode CR1().DIR() = 0; //Up-Counting CR1().OPM() = false; CR1().URS() = true; //Only update on overflow or underflow or DMA request CR2().CCDS() = false; CR2().CCPC() = false;   auto const prescales = CalculatePrescale(System::SystemClock_t::Timer(), pFrequency); ARR()

I use STM32 workbench for previous project and TruStudio for new project, when I copy some source code to TruStudio, it is not align properly, is there any shortcut for TruStudio can do alignment easily?

I am currently working on a STM32 project which I generated for System Workbench for STM32 via CubeMX, and now I want to switch over to Atollic TrueStudio. Can somebody please tell me what changes should I make to my current dev env to work in Atollic Truestudio?

Hi,I have configured my Nucleo-64 board with the STM32F030R8 with the STMCube software.The HSI is set as system clock (no PLL) and measured over the MCO pin (PA8). I will attach the main.c.The measurement you can see below.There are breaks within the clock signal so the controller stops running.Do you have some ideas what's the cause?Thank you!

What's the easiest way to obtain a list of all STM32F446 hardware registers? Extracting them from different H-files or from the reference guide in pdf-format seems like a lot of work. Is there a more efficient way?

I am trying to convert a signal from accelerometer to a digital value. The output coming from accelerometer is in mv so I have added a non inverting voltage amplifier, then too I am getting a dc voltage at the output of opamp so I have added two capacitors to eliminate dc voltage in my signal. Here are my issues, When I tried have connected a potentiometer and tried, I didnt find any issues, ADC is working perfectly but when I am trying to connect the output from the capacitor to PA1 and ground, I could not able to get the reading from controller!!!! I mean the voltage across capacitor is dropping to mV . I have measured the voltage across capacitor in oscilliscope by not connecting to PA1 its working perfectly, peak to peak is coming at 4V when vibrating.. but the moment I connect the ouput from capacitor to PA1 and measure the voltage across PA1 to GND. its dropping to mV in which i cannot do the data acquisition.  Are there any hardware connections/ biasing I need to do for acq

I am working with the STM32F4 family. External interrupts have a register called EXTI->SWIER that makes it possible to generate external interrupt from software. Do the timers have something similar, a register that I can use to generate timer interrupts in software?

STM32CubeMX V4.27.0 release note states that STM32H7 uses firmware V1.4.0. Whereas in reality it uses V1.3.0. Is it possible to download STM32H7 firmware V1.4.0. I could not find it anywhere. Is firmware update planed?

Posted on April 07, 2018 at 08:49Hello,I'm having trouble setting up the SAI peripheral clock on an STM32L476RET6 using Stm32CubeMX (Version 4.25.0).I want to use the SAI2A as Master Receive on a MEMS MIC ICS43434 with I2S with FS = 48KHz. and SCK = 3.072MHz.FS = MCLK / 256So I put 12.288 in the field ''To SAI2 MHz'' and press enter but CubeMX suggests 12.235...12.235 / 256 = 47.79KHz would be a bit out of the way I want. So I put 12.288 * 2 = 24.576 and CubeMX suggests 24,571 which would theoretically give me a FS of 47.99 ... KHz which I think is good but when compiling on Keil (V5.24.2.0) and measure with my oscilloscope:FS = 58.7KHz insted 47.99 KHzSCK = 3.74MHz insted 3.07MHzMCLK = 15Mhz insted 12.285MHzthe microphone responds okay but obviously with an incorrect sampling rate for my application.I also configured another pin so that I could measure the clock generated by the HSI and measure 16Mhz as well as expected.on my board I have a crystal of 16MHz but when using it I have t

I have recently faced with problem that the real timeout and calculated aren't equal. The formula is described as in the screenshot below. But the WWDG initiates a reset when the counter (T[5:0]) changes value from 0x40 to 0x3F. Then we have only 128 - 64 (0x40) counts until a reset occurred. Shouldn't the formula be like t_wwdg = t_pclk * 4096 * 2 ^ (WDGTB[2:0]) * (T[5:0] + 1 - 0x40) ?
