Hi!I use an STM32F746 and I configured STM32CubeMX clock tree as is :I just use PLLI2S for the MCO2 output (for Ethernet purposes). I don't use SAI1, SAI2, I2S or SPDIF-RX, so the HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig function does not initialize PLLI2S:HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig(RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef *PeriphClkInit) { ... /*-------------------------------------- PLLI2S Configuration ---------------------------------*/ /* PLLI2S is configured when a peripheral will use it as source clock : SAI1, SAI2, I2S or SPDIF-RX */ if((plli2sused == 1) || (PeriphClkInit->PeriphClockSelection == RCC_PERIPHCLK_PLLI2S)) { ... // THIS SECTION IS NOT CALLED: plli2sused == 0 and PeriphClkInit->PeriphClockSelection is not strictly equal to RCC_PERIPHCLK_PLLI2S, although it contains it as a binary mask } ... }The workaround is to initialize it manually after the SystemClock_Config() call : PLLI2SInit.PLLI2SN = 100; PLLI2SInit.PLLI2SP = RCC_PLLP_DIV2; PLLI2SInit.PLLI2SR = 2; PLLI2SIn

Hello everyone ,I have my own PCB which its antenna connection is so similar to ST25R3911B-Disco - MB1325C-01 board , but my cpu is st32f407 , and base on ST25R3911B_DISCO_FW_v1_2_00 and also stm8_nfc05 I want to read UID at the first step .rfalInitialize() == ERR_NONE is ok and void EXTI9_5_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN EXTI9_5_IRQn 0 */   HAL_GPIO_EXTI_IRQHandler(GPIO_PIN_8); while( HAL_GPIO_ReadPin (GPIOD,GPIO_PIN_8)) { st25r3911Isr(); }   }is working fine .but I do not know what sequence and which commands should be send to do it .I have try in wakup mode by : st25r3911Initialize();find=iso14443AInitialize();        find=iso14443ASelect(ISO14443A_CMD_REQA , &card, 0); dispute that find=0 when Mifare card is there , but card.uid in incoorect and card.actlength =0 !!could you please help me in that issue ?

Can anyone please provide me document of the STM32F429IZT board full pin details and features and everything about the board.

Hello!I am working on a custom USB bootloader for a stm32F401VCT6.The communicatio with the host PC over USB is working. Also the erasing of the Flash memory is working. I am using the HAL drivers by the way.The bootlaoder sits in the first two sectors of the Flash memory. The problem now is, when I want to write data to flash, it goes into a hard fault error. The point where the hard fault error occurs is in the function: HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_DOUBLEWORD, startingAddress, dummy);more specific, in this function another function is called: status = FLASH_WaitForLastOperation((uint32_t)FLASH_TIMEOUT_VALUE);this function is called 2 times in the HAL_Flash_Program function. the second time it causes an hard fault. The type of the hard fault is: Bus, memory management, or usage fault. more specific: Attempt to execute an undefined instruction I tryed to disable the write protection. But still causes a hard fault when trying to write to flash. My write to flash function:static

I'm trying to get TIM4_TOGO output to start conversions on ADC3 on a STM32F7 DISCOVERY board.I've attached main.c. I use a GPIO output toggle with oscilloscope to detect code execution and timing. I can see the toggle from the TIM interrupt handler, with the correct timing I'm after. I don't see any toggle from the ADC Handler unless I use software start from the main infinite loop, but this is not from the timer. I've been looking at this for a few days and haven't made any progress, please help! (Yes, I have other things going on in the code, including an OS for a GUI on an LCD, but the TIM4 interrupt is working ok, so I believe that it is generating update events OK, and the A/D works when started by software. Just not sure how to connect the two via TIM4_TOGO).This first pic shows the output from the GPIO pin that is toggled from the TIM4 Interrupt handler. This is working perfectly. Not the timebase on scope is 100uS/div, and the toggle edges are a bit shorter than this. This is t

Hi Martin, I'm trying to implement an analog clock in TouchGFX. I've referred the example project. I couldn't understand how to setup rotationCentreX, rotationCentreY value. I couldn't see the clock handle in screen. void setupSecondHand (const BitmapId secondHandBitmapId, int16_t  rotationCenterX, int16_t  rotationCenterY

Hello,In stm32h7 I find examples/FLASH/WriteProtection example in EVAL folder, but the same example is missing from Nucleo folder.The protection is for the user flash (internal flash), so why is it missing from Nucleo ?(I rather do it in NUCLEO, so that if I get into unrecoverable flash, I will still have the more expensive EVAL board with me...)Thanks,Ran

Hi, I am using the IDW04A1 with an STM F401RE MCU. On my program I want to be able to read data from a socket client, so I can essentially tell my MCU to run certain tasks over Wi-Fi. The problem is, all the Socket Read API just return the status of the module (Success or fail, etc).When the Socket Read function is run, it does print out the message the client sends it on the terminal, but I can't find a way to actually save that data in a variable somewhere so the MCU can decide what to do when it receives that message.Thanks, Damien

I've got an issue that the STM32L432 on the Nucleo running a simple I2C I/F isn't working with a DHUT21 when exactly the same code on the 433 is fine. The same I2C code on both chips works fine with a BMP180 and many other devices. This is reproducible across some but not all Nucleo-L432 boards - some work OK with the DHUT21. The signals look fine except that the sensor is NAKing the address on the 432. Any ideas appreciated.

Posted on June 30, 2018 at 15:49Hi all:     Now I use stm32h743zi, using cubemx to generate LwIP project, but the LwIP option is gray. Dose anyone know that how to fix this. The following picture is the picture what I confige the cubemx project. Thanks.#stm32cubemx. #stm32h7-ethernet

Hi Everyone!I am using the STM32407IG and i am trying to send data to another mcu chip via USART RX TX Pins.The Problem is when i run it via USB FS i don't get the baud rate adjusted.How can i setup the Clock for a Baud rate of 9600?That's my clock so far: RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEState = RCC_HSE_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLSource = RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLM = 8; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLN = 192; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLP = 2; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLQ = 4; HAL_RCC_OscConfig (&RCC_OscInitStruct);Here i have the baud rate in my code: UartHandle.Instance = USARTx; UartHandle.Init.BaudRate = 9600; UartHandle.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B; UartHandle.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; UartHandle.Init.Parity = UART_PARITY_NONE; UartHandle.Init.HwFlowCtl = UART_HWCONTROL_NONE; UartHandle.Init.Mode = UART_MODE_TX_RX; UartHandle.Init.OverSampling =

I have a working prototype based on a STM32F746G-DISCO utilising TouchGFX. Since I need to control a stepper motor I have a nucleo-ihm02a1 shield connected to the discovery board. I'm using the X-NUCLEO-IHM02A1 drivers, which I have ported to fit the STM32F746G-DISCO board.Now everything works fine. My TouchGFX environment consists of 5 pages with a lot controlling/displaying elements.Now I want to port the project to a STM32F469I-DISCO board, because of the very nice display and the small board dimensions. Both boards are supported by TouchGFX.Is there a preferred or suggested way to do such a migration of the TouchGFX environment? Of course the HW based drivers/environment need to be adapted by me. But is there a possibility to "save" my TouchGFX pages with all control and display elements? Of cource I need to reposition or resize the elements. But I could do that one after another and not create everything from scratch.Would it work to create a new project for STM32F469I-DISCO and c

Right at the moment I have 2 software, Atollic TrueStudio & STM32CUBE_MX . I am pretty confused, which one to use for an STM32-Cortex M4 ? Is there any difference between Atollic TrueStudio & STM32CUBE_MX software? Which one is stable? thanks

Hi thereI'm working on a spc5studio project which one of my friends has worked on it. when I open the project in spc5studio, I get the following error message:Error: Unable to find component plugin named 'com.st.tools.spc5.components.platform.spc560bcxx'.Please try to install it from SPC5 market place.Neither can I generate application code nor I can compile my application via SPC5Studio.I couldn't find any plugin called 'com.st.tools.spc5.components.platform.spc560bcxx' in internet. what is the problem?thank you all

How to implement sleep and wakeup mode on SPC560P40?

Hello ,I am not able to build the example program, when compiled following build error recieved "Program "gcc" not found in PATH"Appreciate help

Hi ST experts,I started with SPC560B50L3 and I am using SPC5Studio 5.8. I have problem with eMIOS0 configuration (ch1-ch7) as PWM outputs.. I use PinMap editor and i configured the pins as eMIOS0 output (eMIOS0 ch1-ch7, eMIOS0 ch9-ch13 and eMIOS0 ch20-ch21).I can configure eMIOS0_group0 (ch9-ch15) and eMIOS0_group1 (ch17-ch23) but cannot configure eMIOS0 ch1-ch7 as PWM, why?I saw into RM0017 document on figure 250 channel configuration. How i understand it.. there are 6 PWM output groups.. 3 groups for eMIOS0 and 3 groups for eMIOS1, is not it? For package, which i use, i can used only eMIOS0 (LQFP100) and i need to use all three groups of eMIOS0 for PWM outputs.But via Low Level Driver configuration, i can configure only two groups of eMIOS0 as PWM output.I use SPC560B54L5 and i saw in document RM0037 (figure 357) very similar channel configuration as for SPC560B50L3. I used the MCU with SPC560B-DIS board and there is no problem configured all 3 groups of eMIOS0 as PWM output.Please,

I have data which i need to store in eeprom,but i am facing following issue:The data once written to one block of flash, not able to overwrite the dataThe other blocks not able to use during run time

size of elf file and hex file is different for same code hex file size is small so in true studio use elf file thats why i get error FLASH' overflowed by 156416 bytes C/C++ Problemif both file generate then also gives same error so only HEX file not ELF.

I want to know how to view the critical bytes of a .list file. Which byte above the location is critical bytes, is the one to be removed

file-> new-> convert C/C++ nature then build it gives error main.h no such fie or directory

I am trying to debug the program using ST link on the board STM32F0308-DISCO. But after adding a breakpoint the Truestudio don't stop at the break point

I have a CR95HF transceiver connected over SPI interface running at 2MHz. When I send the protocol select command I get the error 0x71 (EinternalError) .The IRQ_OUT goes after the 4-th byte low .Clock, MISO, MOSI looks ok.Send data 00 02 02 01 0dGet data 0E 71 00What means this error?

I have a problem on a STM32F071C board. The PLL will not reach ready state. I am using the HSI and in order to reduce current consumption I want to devide PLL from 8MHz down to 2MHz. This works fine on most board (18 out of 20) but on some the PLL_RDY is never set. Do I violate any requirements by using RCC->CFGR2 = RCC_CFGR2_PREDIV_DIV4?   /* Enable Prefetch Buffer and set Flash Latency */   FLASH->ACR = FLASH_ACR_PRFTBE | FLASH_ACR_LATENCY;   /* HCLK = SYSCLK */   RCC->CFGR |= (uint32_t)RCC_CFGR_HPRE_DIV1;   /* PCLK = HCLK */   RCC->CFGR |= (uint32_t)RCC_CFGR_PPRE_DIV1;   /* PLL configuration = HSI * 2 = 4 MHz */   RCC->CFGR &= (uint32_t)((uint32_t)~(RCC_CFGR_PLLSRC | RCC_CFGR_PLLXTPRE | RCC_CFGR_PLLMUL));   RCC->CFGR |= (uint32_t)(RCC_CFGR_PLLSRC_HSI_PREDIV | RCC_CFGR_PLLMUL2);   RCC->CFGR2 = RCC_CFGR2_PRE

Hi,We have developed a NFC reader design using the CR95HF-VMD5T chip. Our design is similar to the X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 development board, its just we have used a flex NFC antenna by PulseLarsen with part number W7001.The issue we are facing is that the board is unable to read a tag and returns error 87, with the firmware we have written.We have tested our firmware on the X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 development board and we are able to read a tag without any problem.We also probed the antenna pads of both our board and X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 using an oscilloscope just to see if we see any difference in the signal. What we noticed was that the X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 board was showing a 10V peak-to-peak sine wave at 13.5Mhz whereas our board was showing around 3.4V peak-to-peak around the same frequency.We wanted to know if this is the reason for our problem and a solution for that or if something else is going on that we're missing.I have attached the antenna's datasheet for reference.ThanksBrosnan GomesHardware
