How can I locate array in SRAM instead of DTCM RAM(128kB)?uint16_t array[320*240] is overflowed in H743ZI.Sytem workbench says <DTCMRAM overflowed by 25760 bytes>.I don't have any trouble with F429ZI.

I downloaded Yocto_SDK Software Version- 1.0.0 for STM32MP151C. The environment setup file name is - "environment-setup-cortexa7t2hf-neon-vfpv4-openstlinux_weston-linux-gnueabi". Does it mean that this SDK is tailored for Wayland implementation? We intend to use raw framebuffer device. As of now we have no plans of using X11 or Wayland. Can we use this SDK?

Hi,I have stucked trying to use hrtim pwm outputs on stm32f334r8.I use initialisation provided by CubeMX to start all 10 channels right now. I use exactly the same setting for every channel, but still have different results.It is not possible to fit init code here, but here the main parts://TIMER CONFIG START pTimeBaseCfg.Period = 0x0960; pTimeBaseCfg.RepetitionCounter = 0x00; pTimeBaseCfg.PrescalerRatio = HRTIM_PRESCALERRATIO_DIV1; pTimeBaseCfg.Mode = HRTIM_MODE_CONTINUOUS; //WAVEFORM TIMER CONFIG START pTimerCfg.InterruptRequests = HRTIM_TIM_IT_NONE; pTimerCfg.DMARequests = HRTIM_TIM_DMA_NONE; pTimerCfg.DMASrcAddress = 0x0000; pTimerCfg.DMADstAddress = 0x0000; pTimerCfg.DMASize = 0x1; pTimerCfg.PushPull = HRTIM_TIMPUSHPULLMODE_DISABLED; pTimerCfg.FaultEnable = HRTIM_TIMFAULTENABLE_NONE; pTimerCfg.FaultLock = HRTIM_TIMFAULTLOCK_READWRITE; pTimerCfg.DeadTimeInsertion = HRTIM_TIMDEADTIMEINSERTION_ENABLED; pTimerCfg.DelayedProtectionMode = HRTIM_TIMER_A_B_C_DELAYEDPROTECTI

In stm32l1xx_ll_rtc.h, generated by STM32Cube MCU Package for STM32L1 Series, v1.8.1, line 2110:__STATIC_INLINE void LL_RTC_ALMB_SetDay(RTC_TypeDef *RTCx, uint32_t Day) { MODIFY_REG(RTC->ALRMBR, (RTC_ALRMBR_DT | RTC_ALRMBR_DU), (((Day & 0xF0U) << (RTC_ALRMBR_DT_Pos - 4U)) | ((Day & 0x0FU) << RTC_ALRMBR_DU_Pos))); }The first argument of MODIFY_REG() should be RTCx->ALRMBR, not RTC->ALRMBR.I think :)

Does this processor have a max size limit on stack frames? (as opposed to max size of total stack). The stack frame size is the amount of stack space set aside when a function calls another function (this is mainly composed of local variables declared in the called function).

Hello, until now, all STM32 datasheets do not specify JTAG/SWD interface characteristics except for STM32H7: 6.3.33 JTAG/SWD interface characteristics. The JTAG/SWD interface characteristics should be specified.

When setting the primary slave address for I2C in cubeMX for the STM32F1xxThe generated code will be the address * 2. This created address is incorrect. The address should not be multiplied by 2.for example: Set I2c Slave address to 0x50Generated code sets the OwnAddress to : 160. which is (0x50 * 2)The st does not response to the address 0x50, because the ownAddress is set to another value.

I'm working on a low power driver for our project and want to put the mcu into sleep mode to be woken up by a timer. The mcu enters the Sleep mode but does not exit from the same. Since I have the Seggar J-link connected to over a JTAG port for debug, I can see that the RTC Alarm call back is being serviced and prints out the debugging information but the mcu does not exit the sleep mode. Here is the code. void PMODE_EnterSleep(void) { HAL_PWR_EnableSleepOnExit();   HAL_SuspendTick();   // Request to enter STOP PMODE with regulator in low power PMODE HAL_PWR_EnterSLEEPMode(PWR_MAINREGULATOR_ON, PWR_SLEEPENTRY_WFI); }     void PMODE_ExitSleep(void) { HAL_PWR_DisableSleepOnExit();   SWD_PRINTF("Exiting Sleep\n"); }   // .... A general power mode servicing module   void PMODE_ServicePower(PMODE_eOperatingMode_t eModeToEnter) { switch (eModeToEnter) { case PMODE_eRun: break;   case PMODE_eSleep: SWD_PRINTF("Sleep\n"); PMODE_Enter

We would like to use the embedded STM32 in the SPIN for calculation purposes if no Vm power supply voltage is available. But datasheet is mentioning that Vdd < Vm. And the circuit diagram shows connections between Vdd, Vdda and internal 3.3V.Question 1: Is it possible to use only Vdd and Vdda (both 3.3V) to run the chip ?Question 2: Under this condition which max. input current we would have to expect if CPU runs in low power mode ?NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. We are using the SPC560B54L3 MCU in our project. After initial testing we found that the startup time is very high (about 235ms from powering the controller to the start of the application main function). From the documentation it is not clear how much time it takes the controller to start typically. Our application is initializing all the SRAM on the target in its startup code. Any advice from your side?NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. Hello,I have a little confusion regarding FMC memory map. I hope someone can help me with it.Accoring to reference (stm32h743) FMC external memories are mapped as following:0x6C000000 -0x6FFFFFFF FMC NOR/PSRAM/SRAM 4 Bank1 (or remap of FMC SDRAM Bank1)   0x68000000 -0x6BFFFFFF FMC NOR/PSRAM/SRAM 3 Bank1 (or remap of FMC SDRAM Bank1)   0x64000000 -0x67FFFFFF FMC NOR/PSRAM/SRAM 2 Bank1 (or remap of FMC SDRAM Bank1)   0x60000000 -0x63FFFFFF FMC NOR/PSRAM/SRAM 1 Bank1 (or remap of FMC SDRAM Bank1)NOR is mapped to first bank (0x60000000), does it mean that we can access it only from 0x60000000 -0x63FFFFFF ?I see in NOR datasheet that it has 128M Bytes size which mean that only half of it can be addressed using this memory addresses above...Does it make sense ?Thanks you,ran

Is there a HAL method that allows you to easily set a transmit DMA interrupt like "HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(...)" but without setting the half transfer interrupt routine? Since the Tx buffer is full when this is enabled, I can expect the DMA to start transmitting right away, so I was wondering if there is a HAL method to disable the HTIE before starting the DMA.

We started developing using one of the boards from the MATRIX-M24SR board, connected to our own hardware (via I2C), and got it up and running also with writing to the whole NDEF file, with no problem. Then we developed a dedicated board including the M24SR64-Y. But for some strange reason, we can only write to the NDEF file within 16 byte blocks. E.g. Writing from address 0 – 15 works fine. Writing from address 4 – 14 works fine. Writing from address 16 – 31 works fine. Writing from address 10 – 17 don’t work. Writing from address 0 – 31 don’t work. I have verified that there is no password on the NDEF, but still, it’s strange that I can write to the memory in small blocks, but no in larger blocks (> 16 byte). We have tried replacing the onboard M24SR64-Y with one of the chips from a MATRIX-M24SR board, and then we can write with no problems to the whole NDEF file, so this shows that there are no problems with our hardware.

Hello. I use spc5studio and SPC582. i want use printf() using the UART for command line test. i alread tested serial. how can i setting  "stdio.h" header at spc5studio . please let me know code or seting.

Everyone, I would like to tell you. I will use the HAL library for the first time. What functions should be called in the main loop for write commands and read commands from I2C-Master? I am very happy if you can provide a sample source. I saw the source file made with STM32CubeMX, but I did not understand.

Hello, for Maintenance purpose, I made a .c library folder outside of SPC5Studio projectso I just linked the library folder under source folderbut my library didn't compiledHow can i add external library file into project?Thank you

for SPC58NE series.I know that Ethernet uses SPI protocol with MCU, but It's helpful if there're examples

I am using a SPC56XL70.

So I've just bought a F722ZE based board which is ideal for the projects I'll be working on, however I was hoping I could get this to work with the arduino IDE and save myself the trouble of learning the new platform, but this doesn't seem to be possible...What's the best free software available to get started with this board? Preferably with some examples, I've tried Keil but it's not compatible with the board I'm using. There must be something out there?

Thank you in advance.I am trying use two stm32f103c8t6 to do communication stuff. One is used to be transmitter and another is receiver. The code is simple but it doesn't work. Source code as follows:Transmitter:while (1) { uint8_t tran[4] = {0x21, 0x48, 0x59, 0x00};  HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, tran, 4, 10); HAL_Delay(100);}Receiver:while (1) { HAL_UART_Receive(&huart1, tran, 4, 10); HAL_Delay(100); }The baud rate is set to 115200 bits/s. I use usb-to-ttl to check the situation. The transmitter is working normally, but the receiver cannot receive the normal data as expected. Please help!!!

the MCU stm32L011F3 has only 8k flash ,and without standard peripheral library, only HAL and LL library, as i know, the Optimization of HAL is lowest all of them, and LL driver is little Readiness, can any one tell me, is that the HAL driver can execute successfully in stm32L011F3 ?thanks a lot!

Hi.I changed the debugging tool from IAR to trueSTUDIO for STM32.There is code that IAR created and completed the operation. However, the same code, but does not work in trueSTUDIO.An example of the code is shown below.int a = 0;void HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback (TIM_HandleTypeDef * htim){ a ++;}void example_function(){  a = 0; while (a <3) {    asm volatile ("NOP"); }}int main(){ example_function(); while(1) { }}I found the cause with a breakpoint in trueSTUDIO, and I can not get out of the while statement with the code below. asm volatile ("NOP");What is the difference between IAR and trueSTUDIO?What is the solution to this situation?

Need to generate a repeating waveform with external SPI 16-bit DAC.Using a table of values in memory, repeatedly loop through table outputting values to DAC.Delay between outputs is constant. No glitches at repeat!DMA only (no interrupts). What's the most effective way to do this with ST32F427?Thanks,Best Regards, Dave
