Solved

831/5000I've created a board using the STM32F405R6T6.I am experiencing some problems with the card, after I record the firmware on the microcontroller, withdraw the power and reinsert, the firmware only starts to run when I press the reset button. In the debug it works, I record during the debug and it is already running, but when I save the card in release mode there is a need to press the reset button.I thought it might be something related to the bootloader circuit, or even the proximity of reset capacitor, I've attached the circuits below, if someone has already gone through it or has a hint how could solve the problem, I'll be extremely grateful.Sometimes during recording it also gives the following error "error erasing flash with vflasherase packet". Sometimes the error disappeared when activating boot, but not always.SOLUTION: Thanks for the comments, I found the problem. I currently have a switched source (L7981A) that converts the input voltage. The time for the voltage to go f

With Cortex M0+ (BLE) running, how Cortex M4 writes data on flash ?The reference manual says during flash writes all acess are denied.

To implement something like iconview in emwin,I created a Custom container, consist of a image and textarea. name as a icon. Then, create 2 screen .The screen1 use SwipeContainer ,whitch add 12 icon.Q1:How do I determine which icon is pressed?Q2:How do I switch to screen2 by clicking the icon?

Hi, everyoneI am using the STM32CubeMX for the first time.I have a problem with clock configuration on it.But I do not know why the problem is occurring.I need help.Best regards,

Hello everyone, I configured TIM1 for pwm. I will use CH3 and CH4. CH4 works well, but CH3 does not work. Sometimes when I load program first time CH3 works, But When I turn off the power and then turn on power CH3 does not work. Is there anyone who has any information about this topic ? Thank you.

Dear Experts ,basically i am a embedded engineer but i don't have a knowledge in signal processing area, so i need your help for design UHF rfid reader for long range max 10feet is enough. anybody can help me to stay in wright track still complete the design. which is the best IC for my design?there is any example design, code for my need? How to start with out knowledge based on DSP.

Hello,I'm designing an application where a PCB with STM32F031C6 has to receive a minimum of 5 bytes via an half-duplex communication. Transmission is delimited by special character, ASCII is used. Ideally, the transmission would be composed by 3 data bytes and 2 delimiters (minimum).I don't properly understand if the HAL_UART_Receive_IT function suits my interest (i see it works with n° of bytes) and, more importantly, how the HAL_UART_Error_Callback is triggered. I don't understand the so-called "half transfer" callbacks too.The documentation is not helping me, i already read some PDFs...Anyone who understood enough to explain it to me?Thank you in advance,Mirco

Hello,an4013 Rev. 6 on page 21 writes:"The Counter Enable signal is generated by a logic OR between CEN control bit and the trigger input when configured in gated mode."while e.g. RM0351 writes:"Enable the counter by writing CEN=1 in the TIMx_CR1 register (in gated mode, the counter doesn't start if CEN=0, whatever is the trigger input level)."This contradicts and probably AN4013 is wrong and should read "logic AND"

Hi, I'm trying to use the STM32F7 to perform the FFT of a signal connected to ADC1 Channel 0 on my discovery board and I'm having trouble getting the TIMER 2 to trigger the conversion. When debgugging, it seems the DMA function isn't called at all. This is what my code looks like:void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); static void MX_DMA_Init(void); static void MX_ADC1_Init(void); static void MX_USART1_UART_Init(void); static void MX_TIM2_Init(void);   uint16_t uhADCxConvertedValue;   int main(void) { HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config();   /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); MX_TIM2_Init();   // Start Running ADC.   if(HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc1, (uint32_t*) &uhADCxConvertedValue, 1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } // STart Running Timer: //Enable and start peripheral counter if(HAL_TIM_Base_Start(&htim2) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler();

How does one convert:Raw angular rotation data to DPSRaw temperature sensor readings to degreesThanks

I would like to pilot ST25R3911DISCO with labview (8.6). I have imported ST25R3911DISCOComm.DLL to LabView and I use GetST25R3911 from the DLL to get the handle and to redirect it to checkConnection for example. The problem is i do not know the data type of the handle ( UInt32, Signed, Array ,string?, pass value or pointer to value ?), so impossible to run the VI without an error.Anybody could help ?Does it exist a DLL, and .H without handle, like for CR95 ?Thanks,Bernard

Posted on May 22, 2017 at 19:51 Hi guys, I am working with the STM32L486 using the CubeMX tool and running into some SPI issue that I can't seem to figure out (I am new to ST chipsets btw). Specifically the HAL_SPI_Transmit routine takes to long compared to the fraction of the time the data is transmitted, as can be seen in the scope image below with yellow being the clock, blue being the data and pink the test point PA0_SET I wiggle (code below). The scope shows that theHAL_SPI_Transmit takes up to 4uS, which is ridiculous. Any idea how to speed this up close to the time it takes for the data to transmit (around 1.44uS)? Thanks, ED PA0_SET; Spi.Status = HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi2,(uint8_t *) &DDS_Cmd, sizeof(DDS_Cmd)>>1, 2); PA0_CLEAR; #hal_spi_transmit Note: this post was migrated and contained many threaded conversations, some content may be missing.

Posted on June 08, 2018 at 11:07Hello everyone!I`m trying to get CDC VCP working on STM2F407VET6 chip. I`ve created a project in STM32CubeMX (the latest version available), where I`ve set up clocks, enabled USB_FS_Device and USB CDC middleware. All the settings remained default, except for VBUS sensing, which was disabled. After this, I`ve generated code for Atollic studio, compiled and run in without making any changes to code. When I plug my device into PC (Windows 10 Pro x64 with latest updates), device configures and enumerates correctly, no errors was reported, and COM4 port is assigned to device. However, if I try to open this port with any terminal software (like Putty or RealTerm), they are reporting connection error ('the parameter is incorrect' in RealTerm`s case). On the device side, in this moment hUsbDeviceFS.dev_state is equal to USBD_STATE_CONFIGURED, and if I try to call CDC_Transmit_FS, then it returns USBD_OK on first call and USBD_B

Hello:I am using the STM32L433 device. In CubeMX, I am using ADC1 channels 5,6,9 and 15. Other than the yellow highlights, there are no conflicts. Under ADC Settings, for ScanConvMode, it only has "Disable" in the drop-down list. Why is this? Another setting needs to be first changed?

Hi all! I've got a strange problem during writing data to a tag and inventory (sometimes). I have the Preamble error (-35). This is the result of gen2WriteWordToTag function or st25ru3993TxRxGen2Bytes function during inventory. Idesigned my own hardware based on the Femto v2.1 reader (AMS product). My settings: Tx one length = 1.83 * Tari, Tari = 6,25us, LF = 160kHz, long preamble, Miller8. Can you help me?

I want to read data from PT1000 thermistor. After succeeding in communicating with the TouchGFX model and displaying the content I wanted, I now want to be able to read real time temp. For this job I have PT1000 sensor. I have made the ADC to work, but the problem I'm experiencing, is, that the values I get are very inaccurate. I'm getting every second different values in the range from 17 to 24 degrees, which is pretty bad. I aim for accuracy of +- 1 degree or even 0.1. Now it is quite miserable. I have placed 10uF capacitor to filter out noise, coded to get average of 10 convertions (excluding the lowest and highest values), but nothing helped, I mean, they have improoved the amplitudes, but not with the margin I expected. Before it was worse than 17-25. I really don't know what the reason could be. I have read a lot and watched and everyone has steady reading (for example 1723-1727 (12bit value straight from ADC)), I get fluctuations like 1723-2023. Maybe there is something wrong wi

For the CR95, I found "AN4593: CR95HF C++ Library for Linux User", what is the name or a link to equivalent document for ST25R3911DISCOComm.DLL ?I search for descriptions of functions inside, and how to combine.ThanksBernard

For an application we are investigating this processor and have two questions,We want to connect an external chip to the FMC bus. It is somespecialized ASIC handling some real-time communication.I don't see the option in the STM32Cube to active the FMC in SRAM mode? But I see it in the reference manual. Is it available? Is the SRAM also accessible by the Cortex M4? What I understand from the refence manual is that it is supported.

Hi,I have succesfully built a image st-example-image-qt from the DISTRO openstlinux-eglfs.I have deployed the image on sd card, and played it on STM32MP157C-DK2.System is booting without a problem, and the splashscreen was shown. Then, I tried one of Qt examples e.g.:root@stm32mp1:~# /usr/share/examples/opengl/hellowindow/hellowindowqt.qpa.input: X-less xkbcommon not available, not performing key mappingCould not set DRM mode for screen DSI1 (Permission denied)Could not queue DRM page flip on screen DSI1 (Permission denied)Could not queue DRM page flip on screen DSI1 (Permission denied)Could not queue DRM page flip on screen DSI1 (Permission denied)...export QT_QPA_EGLFS_ALWAYS_SET_MODE="1"export QT_QPA_EGLFS_INTEGRATION="eglfs_kms"does not help! What can be the Issue here?

Hi everyone:We tried the MCSDK and deployed it in stm32f407. But we got a problem, for example: We use the motor control GUI trigger the motor to 20k rpm.We press the stop button. The motor go into free run status. When the motor speed decrease and not reach to zero , may be 10k rpm.Than we start motor again, wish to reach 20k rpm.But the motor speed is higher than 20k rpm. And the speed indicator of GUI is not correct .
