Hello,We try to test our Ethernet performance (STM32H7).We are using a udp echo with LWIP , and we inject udp packets from PC into STM32H7 .The performance is OK with most packets, but when decreasing packet size below ~300bytes, we start to get packet lost.My question is:Is there a benchmark document for STM32H7 showing the expected performance for Ethernet ?Is there a loopback application example using HAL APIs (without LWIP) ?Thank you,Ran

I have a custom board with an STM32F412re and a TLV320aic Codec, where the Codec is in Master mode and the I2S2 Interface of the STM32 in Full Duplex Slave mode.So far I have the I2S2 interface configured to send and receive the data over DMA.On DMA transfer complete Interrupt I copy the input buffer (uint16_t) to the output buffer. This way I have a passthrough of the audio signal. Now I also implemented the float32_t FIR example from CMSIS/DSP. I have verified, that the FIR filter works (amplitude shows low-pass characteristic). However I am seeing (and hearing) that the audio signal has gaps.(blue: Input, 1Vpp, 1kHz. green/pink: Line Out L/R)I suspect that this happens because I execute the FIR filter inside the DMA ISR - which is not the way to do it. The next step is to implement a buffering method to run the FIR-Filter not FFT (as in the comments) n the main loop. How can this be achieved? What is good practice? Is there an app-note or a white paper explaining how to implement a buf

CDC function run normally. But if MCU reboot(For example, USB connect to PC and reboot MCU), USB will not recongnized. It will return to normal if I remove USB then insert it again. So I want to add re-enumerate function to let device re-enumerate though USB always in PC.How to modify the code to realize re-enumerate function? I try to set PA12 low to high before USB init. Device cannot run. Maybe blocking

My code is little modified Nucleo NFC Sample code. But instead of using WriteURI I want to read URI from Android phone. Every time NFC returns success but variable used with ReadURI function has always the same value as previous. My snippet:int main(void) { /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config();   // Init of the Nucleo Board led BSP_LED_Init(LED2);   // Init of the M24SR expansion board initLED(); MX_GPIO_Init(); sURI_Info uri; while (TT4_Init() != SUCCESS); TT4_ReadURI(&URI); // Prepare URI NDEF message content while (1) { } } Anybody knows how to solve this problem?

HiThere seems to be something wrong with font compilation on my system after updating from 4.10 to 4.12.3. The flash usage of my project has ballooned by 400kB more now. I have traced this to the font generator. This is now including a lot of spurious characters that are not used as far as I can tell. The .txt files in generated/fonts seem to have the required subset of glyphs listed. But the .cpp files include a lot of strange extra code points like 0xE000-0xE14A ("private use" range). And U+0915..U+0963 ("Devanagari").This is when generating code from Designer which looks like it calls make -f simulator/gcc/Makefile assets -j10to generate the assets?I tried one of the stock projects and this does seem to work OK.Windows 10 is set to English/United Kingdom.Any ideas?thanksJohn

I'd like to only update variables, which are shown on the current screen. How do I get the current screen in a switch case structure, in the model::tick() function. I tried to alter the tick function to get the currentScreen parameter from the FrontendApplication.hpp as a variable, but this did not work

Hello,I'm trying to get LwIP working on a STM32F769I-DISC1 board but with the SBSFU bootloader.I started out with a basic project, generated with CubeMx, that sends UDP packets every 500ms (no operating system, just LwIP Raw API). This works, the board gets an IP address and I receive the data.I then changed the linker script and project settings to work with the X-Cube-SBSFU bootloader which builds and starts up but will not get an IP address. It just keeps waiting for an address. The changes I made to run with the bootloader are as follows:Changed STM32F769NIHx_FLASH.ld as attached (STM32F769NIHx_FLASH_bootloaded.ld)added includes to gcc settings in AC6 Systems WorkbenchMiddlewares/ST/STM32_Secure_Engine/Core2_Images_lwip/2_Images_SECoreBin/Inc2_Images_lwip/2_Images_SBSFU/SBSFU/App2_Images_lwip/Linker_Common/SW4STM32changed linker to gcc -z max-page-size=8add to linker libraries (-l) :se_interface_app.oadd to Library search path (-L) the path where se_interface_app.o can be foundadd t

Hi,I am working with the X-NUCLEO-NFC05A1 for testing and prototyping purpose. My goal is to detect and read RFID cards on two different card slots.I am able to read the RFID cards using the differential antenna mode with only one antenna connected at RFO1 and RFO2.However, since I want to read cards on two different location, I thought about using 2 antennas in single ended mode.I configured the IO configuration register by setting the bit Single (bit 7) and multiplexing the two antennas by toggling the bit RFO2 (bit 6) when needed as cited in point 1.2.2 Transmitter The antennas are respectively connected to RFO1 and RFO2 and both at ground using the Connector J300 on the eval board. With this configuration, I am not able to detect or read any cards. No inductive or capacitive wakeup IRQs occurs with this connection and configuration. I could not find more information in the Datasheet on how to use the single ended mode.Am I missing something important? What more should I modify? Is m

I am working with Mifare Ultralight Ev1 (Iso14443A Type 2 tag). NFC Reader is CR95HF.When I execute this command I get different answers. At first I only checked on if the answer started with 80, so they both succeed. However now I am getting in more detail on how answers work, and I see that sometimes I get a long response while at others I get 8000.Example:---------CR95HFDll_SendReceive strRequest:---------952008---------CR95HFDll_SendReceive strAnswer:---------8000---------CR95HFDll_SendReceive strRequest:---------952008---------CR95HFDll_SendReceive strAnswer:---------80085A734D80E4280000What causes this difference in response and what does it mean? -------------------------------------------------------------Also I am getting into CRC. I see that sometimes response ends with 280000, but it seems the command has been executed properly. Should I always retry unless the answer ends with 080000?

Hi,First of all I am really loving the ST25DV dynamic tags. I am currently trying to write sequential write of 200 bytes of data using I2C. I am able to write the the chip, but I was curious of how many write cycle is this considered. I am writing 200 bytes to the chip every 10mins and I want the device to last atleast 10 years. So I would like some information on the write cycles which would help me in calculating the life expectancy of the chip.ThanksAnish

For STPMIC1, when it is powered on by asserting the PONKEYn signal low, what would happen if the PONKEYn remains asserted low even after the initial POWER_ON trigger? Would it subsequently trigger a POWER_DOWN if PONKEYn long press turn off is activated? Or is the PONKEYn event triggered only when there is a HIGH to LOW edge transition (edge trigger) ?Thanks.Steven

I am not able to receive whole characters from the uart interrupt . if I enter "hello" thorigh command line , I gets h , e , o . I setted it by stm32cubemx, and just used ucpd1 as source, but it won't send source capabilities when connected the sink devices. I'm not sure it's the code or the hardware influenced it. I tested it in nucleo-stm32g071rb, and connected sink devices by ucpd1_cc1, ucpd1_cc2 and GND. And I try to use USBPD_PE_Request_DataMessage(port_num, USBPD_DATAMSG_SRC_CAPABILITIES, NULL); to send a source capabilites, but return USB_BUSY.

I 'm using Atollic TrueSTUDIO 9.3.0 with STM32CubeMX 5.2.1 and target MCU is an STM32F030F4P6.I 'm building my project but I get this error:Undefined referrence to 'ITM_SendChar'.In the second photo you can see that the folder that contains the file (core_cm3.h) that contains the 'ITM_SendChar' function is included in my project.(Properties->C++->BuildSettings->ToolSetings->C Compiler->Directories->Include Path)What have I done wrong?

I'm a relatively new user but am just about getting up to speed with STM32 family and STM32CubeIDE. I love that there is a gui that helps to generate code to configure peripherals, however I am learning to distrust some of the detals of the code generation :(One that just cost me a few hours of head scratching:I was setting up an STM32L4R5ZI (nucleo) board as a full duplex SPI slave, and had configured all the pins & settings correctly. Blocking mode HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive was working, but when I configured DMA and used the _DMA variant of the function, I could not get any of the DMA complete interrupts or callbacks to fire.I compared my code over and over again to an example, until I randomly looked at the initialization code that Cube had generated for me, which included this block: MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_LPUART1_UART_Init(); MX_USART3_UART_Init(); MX_USB_OTG_FS_PCD_Init(); MX_SPI1_Init(); MX_DMA_Init();I found that if I moved the DMA_Init line before t

I'm still using v4.10.I've read through the following tutorial and also looked at the example demo.https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018398832-Scroll-WheelNeither the item.updateText() nor the item.setIndex() functions are recognized. void Screen1View::scrollWheelUpdateItem(textContainer& item, int16_t itemIndex) { item.updateText(itemIndex); } void Screen1View::scrollWheelUpdateCenterItem(textCenterContainer& item, int16_t itemIndex) { item.updateText(itemIndex); }Can someone please shed some light. Thanks-Renier

I generated my code by stm32cubemx, and use ucpd1 as sink&dead battery, use ucpd2 as drp. But got USBPD_ERROR in USBPD_DPM_InitCore after execute " CHECK_PE_FUNCTION_CALL(USBPD_PE_Init(USBPD_PORT_0, (USBPD_SettingsTypeDef *)&DPM_Settings[USBPD_PORT_0], &DPM_Params[USBPD_PORT_0], &dpmCallbacks));"and USBPD_PE_Init success when just use ucpd1, why the added ucpd2 caused the ucpd1 USBPD_PE_Init error? thanks.

This is a documentation bug/request really, but I recently was trying out the HAL_SPI functions for the first time, and had set up the peripheral for 16 bit transfers. The documentation for HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive and related functions, for several of the families, across several documents and pdfs found on the internet and ST's site, all simply say that the size parameter 'Size: amount of data to be sent and received'I found a number of erroneous exmaples that use sizeof(buffer), as well as several question on this forum with incorrect information; for the record, from reading the HAL code, the size is measured in units of 16 bits (or whatever your SPI is configured for). while that makes total sense, I wish the docs made this clearer as it tripped me up - and many others. I was overrunning my buffer by a factor of 2, leading to bizarre behaviour, faults etc.took a while to unpick. For the DMA functions, I dont know yet if the size of the DMA transfer configuration (half word or word) m

Hi experts, I am designing a circuit using STM32 MCU, my application doesn't require strong MCU , so i decided to use 2 type of below MCU: STM32F103C8T6STM32F030F4P6But i want to load the hex file to chip via on board designed circuit by micro USB port. I Researched about ST-Link circuit, but it's too difficult. I don't need debug, is there any basic circuits to help me load Hex file to chip ?Thank you in advanced !Have a nice day :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes: !

I have a simple calculate#define VREF ((uint16_t) 3300)   float X = VREF / 2000;Why X result is 1? This happen with another calculate like xx00 / xx000Thanks

Dear all,I am in difficulty to adjust Timer 3. Let me explain with examples:Internal Clock is 72 MHz and it is used for also Timer 3 as an input clock.1- When PSC: 36 and ARR: 124 it should generate an interrupt every 62,5 us (we can assume it generates exactly every 62,5us because there is tolerance due to crystal oscillator and interrupt latency. One of GPIO toggles when interrupt services and the duration is measured by a scope. Duration is measured about 64 us. We can assume it is acceptable. (72MHz/36 = 2 MHz CLK --> 125/2MHz = 62,5 us, if I do correct calculation)2- When PSC: 72 and ARR: 77 it should generate an interrupt every 78 us (it is measured 79us with the scope)3- When PSC: 36 and ARR: 155 it should generate an interrupt every 78 us (it is measured 80us with the scope)4- When PSC: 18 and ARR: 311 it should generate an interrupt every 78 us (it is measured 82.3 us with the scope)5- When PSC: 9 and ARR: 623 it should generate an interrupt every 78 us (it is measured 86.5

I'm using an STM32F030R8T6 chip on a breadboard. Everything works fine with Atollic TrueSTUDIO, but I decided to download STM32CubeIDE and create a basic empty project. In the Device Configuration Tool, all I did was enable "Debug Serial Wire" so that I can debug using ST-Link. No user code in the main loop yet. After hitting the debug icon, this is output and I get a break point on HAL_Init()STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server.
