Hi , while referring to example file , in the file "rfal_nfcv.h" there is function declaration "rfalNfcvPollerLockBlock" . Need more understanding on this.Exactly Locking the block means what ? Once we locked the block than can we read data from that block ??? And can we unlock the same block. Also is there any type of authentication supported by ST25R3911B for Type-V cards while reading data ?

Dear community,I am totaly new and trying to get some idea on STM32F7...boardI've got opened an example project, provied within IDE. If I compile code and download it to MCU, everything works fine: 2 LEDs are blinking:This is the main code for LEDs blinking within main function:while (1) {   while (Buttons_GetState() & 1U);       /* Wait while holding USER button */  osSignalSet(tid_Thread_LED, 1U);       /* Signal LED thread             */  osDelay(100);                          /* Wait 500ms                    */ }It does blink, when no button is pressed.in order to get better under

Hi,I am currently working on developping a guitar digital looping pedal. I following my last post, I have starting looking into using the 32F746G DISCOVERY for my app, as it includes enough RAM to store audio data and has some interesting audio features as well. Since so far my project has been developped on Nucleo-F446RE, I'm wondering how I will be able to transfer what's already made. Precision on what my prototype would do:Sample the electric guitar signal with ADC, and reproduce it in real time with DAC On the 1st press of a button, sampled data is saved in memory, while still being reproduced through DACOn 2nd press of the same button, the saved audio would start playing in a loop, while being combined with what is being played in real time. Can erase/overwrite a loop on the press of another button. Here are my principal concerns:The F746G interfaces to an audio codec via I2C, while my current project uses the ADC/DAC embedded in the microcontroller. However, after searching f

Can I use STM32MP1 without an operating system?Linux is harder for me to master than a microcontroller. It would be convenient if the cube generated code hal for the processorIs there a similar feature planned? If not, is there a step-by-step instruction on how I can run custom bsp for Linux and compile it?

Hello all, I'm using STMCubeIDE to program an STM32F042K6-T6 development board. I'm attempting to set up an elapsed time interrupt, but it doesn't seem to be working. I am running my chip at 8MHz, and I want to try blinking an LED once a second using the HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback function. Here's what I set my configuration to: Prescalar and ARR give me 8MHz/(8000 * 1000) = 1 second periodI enable the HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT(&htim3) function, and then run the code, but the interrupt is never called. What's going on here? /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * <h2><center>© Copyright (c) 2020 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved.</center></h2> * * This software component is licensed by ST under BSD 3-Clause licen

I am designing a multifunction motor control board leveraging two STM32G431RBs (64pin BGA version of the entry-level STM32G4). In due course, I anticipate the 128K Flash / 32K RAM limit on these MCUs may well be a significant limiting factor of what this board can be used for. I noticed that the STM32G491RE (in the same MCU family / package size, with 512K Flash / 112K RAM) is announced for release in Q3 2020. Will it be pin compatible? When will its datasheet be released? We won't be manufacturing large scale until Q3, but we are starting layout (using STM32G431RBs) now. I am hoping there won't be too much rejiggering of the layout required when upgrading to the STM32G491RE?

I am using SPC560B microcontroller, I want to program in such a way that the module should produce a wakeup interrupt ever 0.1S once. What is the value to be loaded in RTCVAL field in the RTCC register for 0.1s interrupt.I have used a clock source of 128KHZ. So, to get the 0.1s interrupt the RTCVAL loaded 12800void ConfigureWKPU(void) { /* Enable WKPU PCTL */ SPCSetPeripheralClockMode(69, SPC5_ME_PCTL_RUN(2) | SPC5_ME_PCTL_LP(3)); INTC_PSR(46) = 7; WKUP.WRER.R = (1U << 1);                    // enable wakeup pin of:\n WKUP.WIREER.R = (1U << 1);                   // enable rising edge interrupt  WKUP.WISR.R = 0xFFFFFFFFU;       // clear interrupt flags that an external rs WKUP.IRER.R=0xFFFFFFFFU; WKU

@Imen DAHMEN  Still looking here for a small-footprint solution in the stm32g4 line with hardware SPI flash (QuadSPI) handling. The WLCSP versions of the STM32G4x3 and STM32G4x4 lines might be viable. They are slated to be released in Q1 2020 (that is, by the end of March). In light of the covid-19 situation, is this release timetable still accurate?

Hello,I am trying to make SPC560B54L5 EVB in low power mode that is STANDBY mode. The measured current in normal RUN0 mode is 143 mA whereas while keeping in STANDBY mode, it is around 92 mA. But as per the AN3316 Application note the max current consumption is 314uA. So am I entering into STANDBY mode correctly?Because I could see that USB is getting disconnected during waiting for the S_MTRANS to SET. while (ME.IS.R == 0U){  ; }How can I make sure rather SPC560B54L5 EVB is in standby mode or not? I am trying to setup the ADC channel on PA0. I have first set the pin mode to additional function. Then I have followed the examples provided in the reference manual. However, it doesn't turn on anything, either the calibration or the enable. It is not even selecting channel 0. Am I missing something or did something wrong? This is my ADC related code below:int main()   {   //Set PA0 to Additional function mode   GPIOA->MODER |= (3 << 0) ;   //Ensure ADC is Disabled   if ((ADC1->CR & ADC_CR_ADEN) != 0)   ADC1->CR &= (uint32_t)(~ADC_CR_ADEN);     //Start ADC Calibration   ADC1->CR |= ADC_CR_ADCAL;   //Wait for ADC Calibration to Complete   while ((ADC1->CR & ADC_CR_ADCAL) != 0)  { }   //Wait for TIM14 is Enabled //TIM14 is used as a forever interrupt loop in my while function as a clock while ((TIM14->CR1 & TIM_CR1_CEN) == 0) { }   //Select TIM14 by writin

Hi, I'm developing an application with freertos that starts from the address 0x08004000 instead of the standard 0x08000000, because at the start address I have a bootloader but I'm not able to debug the application. I changed the VTOR offset to 0x4000 in the startup file generated by the internal cubeMX, and I also added the following line in: startup - "Initialization Commands" of the debug configuration set *0xe000ed08 = 0x4000   set $sp = *(unsigned int*)0x4000   set $pc = *(unsigned int*)0x4004   tbreak mainI'm using jlink or in alternative stlink_v2 but nothing changes. The code is loaded always from address 0x08000000. Someone could help me? These settings are enough to debug a freertos application? Thanks in advance

Hi,I use st25r3911 ev board with rfal on X-NUCLEO_NFC05A1.First I tested below project in NUCLEO-401RE that I don't have any problem. But, I switched target board to NUCLEO -F429ZI that I have an interrupt problem. The problem that after an interrupt pin is not go low.As I know, after occurring interrupt and I read the interrupt register. And interrupt pin to go low.So, I insert delay for work around like below picture. And I add my project.

HI all, I am Ragu, and I need to flash SPC560b50l5 chip using SPC560b54l5 discovery board. I use PLS adapter setting in document as they mentioned but it not works?. Below I attached JTAG connection circuit diagram which I use. I probe the JTAG pins with CRO and I confrim that data transfer is takes place from spc560b54l5 discovery board but spc560b50l5 controller is not respond after flashing. I need to know why it is not works. I think it maybe not flash correctly, isn't it? I any one face this issue, Please help me.With Regards,P.Ragu.

Hi, I'm evaluating on the STM32F3DISCOVERY board using STM32CubeIDE but I'm having trouble interfacing with the onboard E-compass. In the Device Configuration Tool, I've enabled I2C1, since the user manual states that the MCU controls the E-compass via I2C. However, when I try to read data from the E-compass using HAL_I2C_Master_Receive(), it always returns HAL_ERROR. Furthermore, when I call HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(), the E-compass never returns that it is ready? Below is my relevant code: void I2CTask(void* argument) { uint16_t CompassAddress = hi2c1.Init.OwnAddress1; uint8_t CompassData[255]; uint16_t CompassSize = sizeof(CompassData); uint32_t CompassTimeout = 200; HAL_StatusTypeDef CompassStatus; init_printf(NULL, putc); // Wait for compass to be ready while(HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(&hi2c1, CompassAddress, 64, HAL_MAX_DELAY)!= HAL_OK); for (;;) { // TODO: Debug compass read error CompassStatus = HAL_I2C_Master_Receive(&hi2c1, CompassAddress, &CompassData[0], Comp

I am porting a code written for the stm32f4 to stm32l0. The code uses the ll diver to configure USART1 with the following statement:LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOA)The LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOA value is not defined for the STM32L0. Where can i found more information on the clock configuration?BRGilberto

Hello,I'm trying to connect SDRAM to STM32 for the first time and I'm having trouble understanding the specs. In the datasheet, it seems the FMC peripheral can support 32bit memory. But when I use the Cube MX setting, I'm only able to select 16 bits for the Data.Is there something that I'm missing in the data sheet?

I have a project based on an Stm32F767. If I load the hex file and then manually enable readout protection to level 1 with the STLinkV2 utility, the board fails to begin to execute code after reset. Why? What is the correct way to use this feature?

I have built a custom container (TextInput) where the user can enter a string of fixed length. It is relatively similar in structure to the existing Keyboard ContainerWhen the maximum string length is reached, a second custom container(TextValidation) becomes visible and shows the entire string, divided into several text boxes. If the user now clicks on a textbox, the TextValidation container should become invisible again and the substring should be available for modification in the TextInput window.Currently I have a public method setText in the TextInput class, which calls setWildecard. In the TextValidation container, after a button click, the getParent method is called, the drawable object is casted to a TextInput and from this the setText method is called.I am relatively new to c++ and probably there are much better ways to solve this problem. What is the recommend way to resolve this problem?
