Hi all,I generated code in STM32CubeMX for STM32L081CBTx controller with AES enabled.I built the generated code (without modification) in STM32CubeIDE, but it failed with warning:../Core/Src/stm32l0xx_hal_msp.c: In function 'HAL_CRYP_MspInit': ../Core/Src/stm32l0xx_hal_msp.c:94:5: warning: implicit declaration of function '__HAL_RCC_AES_CLK_ENABLE'; did you mean '__HAL_RCC_ADC1_CLK_ENABLE'? I've just started my first FreeRTOS-based project. In the debugger, when I pause execution, all I see is this stack trace:Thread #1 [main] 1 [core: 0] (suspended : Signal : 0:Signal 0) prvCheckTasksWaitingTermination() at tasks.c:2,488 0x800b4f4 prvIdleTask() at tasks.c:3,235 0x800b404 pxPortInitialiseStack() at port.c:214 0x00ba94In order to be able to develop a FreeRTOS-based project, I need to be able to see the whole program, not just the currently suspended thread.Is there a way, in CubeIDE, of turning on FreeRTOS debugging features such as those present in Atollic or Kinetis Design Studio? http://blog.atollic.com/how-to-debug-freertos-projects-on-arm-cortex-m-devices https://mcuoneclipse.com/2017/03/18/better-freertos-debugging-in-eclipse/

Hi i have configured adc in continuos mode as you can se in MX_ADC1_Init(); but it only reads on first time when goes in the while(1) and never reads new value.void MX_ADC1_Init(void) { ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};   /** Configure the global features of the ADC (Clock, Resolution, Data Alignment and number of conversion) */ hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV4; hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc1.Init.ScanConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.ContinuousConvMode = ENABLE; hadc1.Init.DiscontinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConvEdge = ADC_EXTERNALTRIGCONVEDGE_NONE; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConv = ADC_SOFTWARE_START; hadc1.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc1.Init.NbrOfConversion = 1; hadc1.Init.DMAContinuousRequests = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SINGLE_CONV; if (HAL_ADC_Init(&hadc1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } /** Configure for the selected ADC regular channel its c

Hi,I am using STM32MP1 and setup STM32MP1_artificial_intelligence_expansion_packages to run AI algorithm.Could you please guide me on: Is there any recommendation on which camera to use for AI application from ST side? Can I use Raspberry Pi camera or something like that with STM32MP1?Thanking you,Saurabh

Unfortunately I have already designed my PCB and am now hoping that I just forgot to set a jumper or whatever, but I could not find anything about it in the User Manual. Maybe someone can measure on his or her board to see whether I am mistaken.

Hello,I want to program (first time) an STM32F042K6 with STLINK-V3SET using SWD.When I try to "connect" with STM32CubeProgrammer, I get these informations : "Error : No STM32 target found!". Here is a screen :The connections are : I tried to run the µC forcing PB8(BOOT0) low and high, but I got the same problem.I have some ideas but I didn't find anything in the docs :1) I'm using STLINK-V3SET with MB1440B, it is an extension board provided by ST. Is there any jumper we need to add or remove (according to the docs, I would say no but...)2) Maybe STM32CubeProgrammer configuration is wrong ?3) It is the first time I program this chip, maybe I need to use the bootloader ? Thank you,Best regards,Valentin

Hi,I use HAL library to build code in CubeIDE. I use TIM1 channel 1 and 2 to output PWM.Channel 2 is changed pulse value to change PWM duty. When I repeat to set up this value. Sometimes, the register CC2P will be changed. But, I don't change polarity value. Code of changing pulse value is as below:void user_pwm_duty_ch2_setvalue(uint16_t value) { TIM_OC_InitTypeDef sConfigOC;   sConfigOC.OCMode = TIM_OCMODE_PWM1; sConfigOC.Pulse = value; sConfigOC.OCPolarity = TIM_OCPOLARITY_HIGH; sConfigOC.OCFastMode = TIM_OCFAST_DISABLE; HAL_TIM_PWM_ConfigChannel(&htim1, &sConfigOC, TIM_CHANNEL_2); HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_2); }static void MX_TIM1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END TIM1_Init 0 */   TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; TIM_OC_InitTypeDef sConfigOC = {0}; TIM_BreakDeadTimeConfigTypeDef sBreakDeadTimeConfig = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END TIM1_Init

Hello!Having some issues getting this to work, is it even possible with this setup?PB3 (connected to the JTAG connector) has been reassigned to "SYS_JTDO_SWO", and core clock is at 168MHz.A schematic of the EVAL-boards JTAG connector is available on page 6/24 in this pdf:https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/user_manual/11/80/94/38/c9/d5/4a/02/DM00075652.pdf/files/DM00075652.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00075652.pdfJP3 has been tested in both open and closed configurations.The ST-LINK/V2 documentation gives this pinout ( page 12/19):https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/user_manual/65/e0/44/72/9e/34/41/8d/DM00026748.pdf/files/DM00026748.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00026748.pdf In CubeMX, under the SYS tab, debugging is configured to "Trace Asynchronous Sw", as seen in the image below. JTDO (JTAG connector pin 13) is hence reassigned to SWO.The clocking is configured as:Debug settings in STM32CubeIDE is:And SWV settings as below:After

Dear all, dear stm,we ported our project from stm32F427 to stm32F765 because we needed more RAM.After this we noticed that our code execution time has more than doubled.We check all twice, ART, Cache, Interrupt, PLL, etc.We tested also the Overdrive with no effect.What could be the reason that the code execution from internal flash from stm32F7 is little more than two times slower than from stm32F4?We are using Keil ARM Compiler V5.06 update 6.Best regardsDirk

Is there any plan to provide Unique Device ID registers, together with second calibration point for Temperature Sensor in STM32G030xx?Initially, I expected these data being missing in stm32g030xx.h and DS by simple mistake. I really miss these 2 features. I tried to find some data in memory, but every access generates Hard Fault and I gave up.

I have a SPC584B-DIS discovery board, and I can see that on the Matlab website it's listed as being supported hardware for Simulink.I have been trying to understand how exactly it should work though. I can see that most (all?)of the Simulink blocks are for STM32, and require an .ioc file generated with STM32Cube in order to link the hardware correctly. I understand that STM32Cube doesnt have anything for the SPC5 chips, and so I am wondering if there is a different method for working with them, or if they are not really supported as advertised by Mathworks? https://de.mathworks.com/hardware-support/stmicroelectronics.htmlThis is the site im referring to. It does say "With the exception of the Nudeo and Discovery Boards, MathWorks does not offer an Embedded Coder Hardware Support Package for the devices listed on this page. " But again, I do have a discovery board and so I thought it would be covered. Can someone shed some light on how to approach this?

Hello,We are having trouble reading FUS version using STMprogrammer application.0x20030030 always returns 0.The interesting bit, is that SHCI_GetWirelessFwInfo() API does return 1.1.0 as FUS version as expected.FW version is 1.5.0.Its either issue with the documentation (address changed?), or with programmer application.Any ideas?./STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=SWD mode=UR -r32 0x20030030 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------- STM32CubeProgrammer v2.2.1 -------------------------------------------------------------------   ST-LINK SN : 31FF6B065248393731200143 ST-LINK FW : V2J36S7 Voltage : 1.82V SWD freq : 4000 KHz Connect mode: Under Reset Reset mode : Hardware reset Device ID : 0x495 Device name : STM32WBxx Flash size : 1 MBytes Device type : MCU Device CPU : Cortex-M0+/M4     Reading 32-bit memory content Size : 4 Bytes Address: : 0x20030030   0x20030030 : 00000000

Dear community,about a year ago i have bought a kit: 32F769IDISCOVERY and only now have started to get acquainted with it. Following the instructions in book by Carmini Noviello i have installed all the requered software (including CUBE as a programmer).I still have not got STM32 blinking with LED.As I started with evaluation board, there was original software on it for demonstative purposes (interacting with touchscreeen)Before I wrote my own first compiled program to MCU, I have read out the program from MCU and saved it as .bin file.My own simple program faild to run (another story) and I could write an original bin to MCU and it was running ok. However, after a certain time it stopped workking (upon writing it told me that CPU is locked up) (both programmators Cube and STMUtility). As one of the the first steps I am trying to find the original compliled .hex with demonstrating program (STM32769I-DISCO_DEMO_V1.0.0_FULL.hex) mentioned in internet and manuals.In manual it is stated to

Hi, I am developing a USBPD system with STM32G071KBU6N. This MCU has a USBPD port. I am trying to use it to build a PD SNK port to get a PDO 20V/3A, 12V,3A,, 5V/3A. However, the code was stuck in the Hardreset section. In the debug section, When the USB is plugged, it jump to Hardreset section.I can see the Hard reset status is USBPD_HR_STATUS_COMPLETED. Even the status is completed, the system still try to do the hardreset for a few times. After that, the notification message turn to USBPD_NOTIFY_POWER_SNK_STOP and then USBPD_NOTIFY_PE_DISABLED. Seems that the whole USBPD system is closed. Even I unplug and plug again the USB, the attach and detach event cannot be triggered.I checked again the USBPD negotiation AMS, in the hard reset section, the USBPD_NOTIFY_PE_DISABLED shouldn't be shown. is there any features I didn't handle in the usbpd_dmp_user.c/ usbpd_pwr.c causing this issue? As I didn't have the development tool, I cannot access to the USBPD GUI.

Hi , in ST25R3911B , as mentioned in datasheet in section 3.4 Electrical specifications, Table 10.1 , to enable the power down mode , setting following registers , will it make to power down mode ?"Register 00h set to 0Fh(no clock on MCU_CLK), register 01h set to 80h (3 V supplymode), register 02hset to 00h register 03hset to 08h, other registers in default state."I am modifying this registers as soon as we read data from card.And next time when we want to read the card , repeating all initializing sequence.Will this work or else we have to configure another registers.

Hi,I have an ST25-ANT and I'm trying to make it work on a Nucleo F070RB. When I send the I2C Start there is no problem the device is recognized but then I try to send the MSB of the address and a NACK appears, I don't understand why the ST25DV takes the start condition but nut the register address I'm trying to read . Here is my I2C configuration :And my read function :Any help is appreciated, thanks !

I am trying to learn the in and outs of the STM32 Nucleo. I made my own .h and .c files to control an LCD screen atteched to my nucleo. However in these files I am trying to use HAL_UART_Transmit to write to the screen. I included the HAL.h file but the uart1 instance is declared in the main.c file. Is there a way other than passing the instance to every function I'm calling to use uart1 instance?An example of what I am trying to do is included in a code snippet below.void Clear_Screen() { HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, clear_screen, sizeof(clear_screen), Timeout); }I get the error: "'huart1' undeclared (first use in this function)".Thank you

Hello,I am attempting to integrate the X-CUBE-NFC5 package with an existing project using a STM32F469II MCU and IAR. I have imported and setup the directories exactly as the example project , excluding the application files; however, I am receiving a significant amount of errors and I am at a loss on how to resolve the issues. I was able to successfully build the example project provided with the package for the STM32F401RE-Nucleo board.The main issue is with the rfalIsoDepInfo struct and the rfalBitRate enum in "rfal_isoDep.h"/*! RFAL Bit rates */ typedef enum { RFAL_BR_106 = 0, /*!< Bit Rate 106 kbit/s (fc/128) */ RFAL_BR_212 = 1, /*!< Bit Rate 212 kbit/s (fc/64) */ RFAL_BR_424 = 2, /*!< Bit Rate 424 kbit/s (fc/32) */ RFAL_BR_848 = 3, /*!< Bit Rate 848 kbit/s (fc/16) */ RFAL_BR_1695 = 4, /*!< Bit Rate 1695 kbit/s (fc/8) */ RFAL_BR_3390 = 5, /*!< Bit Rate 3390 kbit/s (fc/4) */ RFAL_BR_6780 = 6, /*!< Bit Rate 6780 kbit/s (fc/2) */ RFAL_BR_52p97 = 0xEB, /*!&

Hi,Kindly help me sharing the link or source of ST25RU3993 's library files for BUS, PROTOCOL, DISPATCHER layer. (Document UM2618 does not says about these layers, it is said as NOT EXPOSED LAYER).Thanks

Hi Everyone.Page 524, section 18.4.16 ADC timing of the STM32L476 Ref manual states.The elapsed time between the start of a conversion and the end of conversion is the sum ofthe configured sampling time plus the successive approximation time depending on data resolution:TCONV= TSMPL + TSAR = [ 2.5 |min + 12.5 |12bit ] x TADC_CLKTCONV = TSMPL + TSAR = 31.25 ns |min + 156.25 ns |12bit = 187.5 ns (for FADC_CLK = 80 MHz)This is almost exactly the same as, page 217 section, 11.5 Channel-wise programmable sampling time of the STM32F411 Ref manual.The ADC samples the input voltage for a number of ADCCLK cycles that can be modifiedusing the SMP[2:0] bits in the ADC_SMPR1 and ADC_SMPR2 registers. Each channel canbe sampled with a different sampling time. The total conversion time is calculated as follows:Tconv = Sampling time + 12 cyclesExample:With ADCCLK = 30 MHz and sampling time = 3 cycles:Tconv = 3 + 12 = 15 cycles = 0.5 μs with APB2 at 60 MHzHeres my problem. When I set up and run the “AD

Still learning H7 so apologize for a silly question.I want to use all Dx RAM parts on a single core STM32H743: D1, D2, D3.Now, in system_stm32h7xx.c , SystemInit there's following code:#if defined (DATA_IN_D2_SRAM) /* in case of initialized data in D2 SRAM , enable the D2 SRAM clock */ RCC->AHB2ENR |= (RCC_AHB2ENR_D2SRAM1EN | RCC_AHB2ENR_D2SRAM2EN | RCC_AHB2ENR_D2SRAM3EN); #endif /* DATA_IN_D2_SRAM */  RM0433 says about RCC_AHB2ENR_D2SRAM1EN "When set, this bit indicates that SRAM1 is allocated bu the CPU", and same about SRAM2EN and SRAM3EN. But wait, SRAM1 (does it mean D1_SRAM aka AXI_SRAM?) already is accessible by the CPU? And, if I have initialized data in D2 SRAM, is it too late to enable it, because initialization of data is in the .s startup file, before SystemInit is called?By testing it looks like D2 and D3 RAM can be read and written by the CPU even if RCC->AHB2ENR is 0. The question is, do I need to uncomment these lines in SystemInit? Are they actually inte

Hello,I have some preprocessors defined in my code and they're NOT greyed outThe problem is, the debugger is not accessing themEvery function under the definition is accessed OK.But if the #if condition is inside the function, the debugger ignores that codeI tried cleaning the project and rebuilding the index but the problem is still thereIf it's a function, it's OKIf it's a code inside a function, it's not ok

Could it only work with .out files? If so, how can I generate a .out file in CubeIDE?
