Hi,I am using multiple (40) VL53L1x sensors. Is it possible to let the sensors continuously range and updating measurement results in the register without clearing the interrupt with the full-API function VL53L1_ClearInterruptAndStartMeasurement? In the API documentation (UM2356) it says:"The sensor performs the ranging continuously and autonomously with a programmable inter-measurement period". Is it possible make this autonomous measurements be reflected in the data register? The goal is to obtain the last valid measurement result according to time-budget and inter-measurement period without clearing every interrupt of all 40 sensors. E.g. each sensor automatically start a new ranging after the inter-measurement period. Thanks for your help.

I'm using the template code for the STM32F7508-DISCO from the STM32CubeF7 repository with the only change being that I add a LED toggle and a busyloop to an infinite loop in `main`. The startup code and everything else is per the template. If I flash the device with `st-flash write`, I verify that the code in question runs fine (the LED flashes in accordance with my loop and busy-wait). However, if I power-cycle the board, or issue `st-flash reset`, or start `st-util` (which also resets the device), the device seems not to do anything (no flashing). This is hard to debug, as attaching the debugger resets the board into the bad state.Does anyone have any suggestions for what I could be missing? Again, everything works fine fjust after flashing the device. Resets, both hard and soft, fail.

Also, will the VBUS_EN_SNK pin get asserted (pulled low) in this case, allowing the power path to enable 5V from the USB 2.0 cable to power the device?

I want to make a simple device to taking only photo and make decisions based on the photo. I would like to use the STM32WB as it has internal bluetooth modul. The camera module supports DCMI. The device will run on battery. After a few days of searching for info about STM32 and DCMI and I found info that only a few MCU supports DCMI interface :STM32F2STM32F4STM32F7STM32H7STM32L4The above info may be old, and the STM32WB familly is new.So my question is, can I integrate the STM32WB and digital camera with DCMI interface to take a photo only.

Hi !What a trouble in new version of CubeMX 6.0 ?Why :1. CubeMX v.6 reset preemtion priority to 0 from any nonzero values in projects whth FreeRTOS when to migrate from old version? This is original setting:this is migrated to 6:2. Hello,I downloaded from your site the CR95HF EMI filter calculation tool. But the xlk (Excel backup) is linked, not the xls. Could you provide a link to the xls file?Best regardsRadek Kreczewski

I am using LSM6DS3 Evaluation Board to get the acceleration and angular velocity data through I2C. I have powered up both Accel and Gyro by writing to the respective control registers and disabled the FIFO. But, when I read the data from Data Out registers (0x28 - 0x2D) of Accelerometer, I am getting zeros along all the 3 axes in all the orientations.Any ideas on what might be wrong ?Thank you.

HiAs the title mentioned, I can't find relevant information in the datasheet.I get some problem when using UART. I have two chips, the master chip transmits packages to RS485 Bus line, and the slave chip receives it then transmits the respond(UART1), at the same time, every second the timer will transmit debugging stuff to pc by TTL(UART2), they should be mutual independent, however the UART1 doesn't work when UART2 is working, and the data is still transmiting to RS485 bus from master chip, so some of the data will not received by slave chip when slave chip is using UART2, after a while whole system on slave chip get weird (the timer is still working), I guess it is the FIFO overflow. So I am asking for function or ways to know the fifo size remain.Thanks.

Getting started with STM32H7, faced a problem. Ive worked for a long time with STM32F4 in Keil uVision (version 5.24.2.0), used a "classic" option, configuration via RTE_Device.h. Worked perfect. Now I dont have such option with STM32H7, only CubeMX, and adventures began.Created project with CubeMX, project building successfully. But when Im trying to add something i.e. filesystem, rtos, etc, it says that it is necessary to start CubeMX (again), and it starts complete different CubeMX project, a new one. Ok, fine, It adds a new main.c, stm32h7xx_it.c, etc. Obviously fails to build.Creating project with Keil looks makes a bit more sense, but still unable to build up a complete application, got the same issue ashttps://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009kHvWr/keil-mdk-and-st32cubemx-not-interactingIs there a way to not use CubeMX in any way?

Hello all!I'm attempting to convert the 14-bit acceleration data from the AIS1120SX/AIS2120SX. I'm successfully retrieving the data from the part with an acceleration command, and I'm able to view the value returned, but I don't understand how to convert the value to G.There is a table (Table 39 - Acceleration data example from section 5.1.1) in the documentation which contains examples of conversions, but the examples aren't helping me.Are some number of the bits fractional? If so, which bits? How is it that a value of 120.4 Gs is represented by b'01111111111111? The 0.015 G value almost makes sense if D0 (the least significant bit) represents 2^-6, but that is the only case in which that makes sense; it doesn't make sense for the other values. Thanks for any help you can provide!JD Scott

I am designing my own board using STM32H7 controller. I am trying to flash the code using STLink V3 mini cable(SWD) and STLink V3 cable is having Virtual com port(UART) also for communicating to the board to the Host PC. How this connection will look like? I mean the connector that is coming from STLink will fit to the MCU board. How that Pin out diagram will look like. I know how it will in the STLinkV2 but in case V3 I am clueless. Can someone help me on this?

Hi All,Can stm32f103 use C++? for programing not c.I'm using stm32f103 / truestudio / cubemx.I want to use some c++ grammer for programing.If there's way to use c++How i can use c++ in stm32f103?regard.

Hello everyone.I am modifying the distribution packages of 157C-DK2 and 157C-EV1 for my project. When I previously configured my rootfs using buildroot and debian-jessie, I proceeded as follows(other boards).Packages that can be configured using buildroot are configured, Debian-jessie is downloaded, and additional packages are downloaded using chroot, or the script under /etc/init.d is modified. And I organized the directories I wanted in the chroot, and installed my application in the folder. But I am not sure how to do it in this Distribution Package (or Development Package).I guess I don't know how to modify the configured Yocto System.I'm constantly looking at the Wiki Page, but I can't find a way.(It is difficult to me to proceed with the Wiki Page alone..)I need your help so I can get to know it little by little.I think the questions below are similar questions, but I don't know how.1. How can I further organize my desired directory in the area shown in the photo below?. I want

I want to a project from the scratch using the STM32CubeIDE for a STM32 Nucleo board. But I don't want to use the CubeMX feature of the IDE. I just to use the HAL libraries like we can do Ac6 workbench software. In Ac6 software, we have an option to use the SPL or HAL library to build the code, can't we do in this IDE also, with just the use of HAL library not MX thing.TIA.

searching on Internet I found the solution, that is to create a custom application template, but the link, https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002741432-Create-custom-Application-Template It still not available, so I'm looking for a new link with detailed documentation for create my custom application template

i am using STM32F103c8 MCU

I am developing an application that requires over the air firmware update, but my MCU's Bootloader does not support this Task (stm32f446re). So I was thinking to do this :1)My main appllication will be located at 0x0800 0000 on the flash2) At some point a newer version of the firmware will be received and that version will be temporarily be stored at 0x0802 0000(sector 5).3) After checking if the new firmware is vaild the applicatoin will call the program Flash_Rewrite to copy the new firmware at 0x0800 0000. Flash_Rewrite program will be located at 0x0804 0000( sector 6 of the Flash-Memory) .It must be a different program and not just a function of the main application because it will have to use it's own copy of all the necessary drivers.4) When Flash_Rewrite finishes the system shall restart with the new version of the application.PROBLEM: Although the Flash_Rewrite program works fine when its located at 0x0800 000(it performs just fast blink instead of copying at this early stage o

Hi folks,I'll try to keep it short. I'm working with an STM32F103xx MCU and an ST-LINK/V2 probe. I'd like to use it to program the MCU. I've been reading the ST-LINK_CLI user manual, and the STM32F10xxx programming manual. I have this question: How much of the programming sequence is handled by the '-P' command offered by ST-LINK_CLI? Do I have to manually reset the MCU by using the -Rst or -HardRst command, then unlock the flash by writing the keys to the FLASH_KEYR register? Or does '-P' handle such things?Thank you,Cole

Trying to read out a resistive touchscreen right now. To keep everything as simple as possible for testing I created an empty project in CubeMX just for testing this and set up all the pins in a static fashion (No reconfiguration at runtime)Measuring the ADC input with a multimeter I correctly see the voltage depending on where I touch, however no matter what I try, the ADC always either outputs a static number (Usually the max value of my configured resolution) or at random will (E.g. with 10 bit) Output a value like 0, 255, 512 or 1024.To eliminate the variable of the touchscreen I've also tried to remove the Touchscreen and connect a potentiometer directly which is connected between ground and 3v3 which made no difference.I tried pretty much all combinations of resolutions, sample times, Interrupt or not, its always the same result. I have also tried to use ADC2 / ADC3 instead of ADC1 with the same result. My code looks like this:HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&

Hi,I created a new project using ready HAL Libraries on STM32F3, I get an weird error (expected an identifier) on the following line in the file (stm32f303xc.h):  __IO uint32_t TR;     /*!< RTC time register,                    Address offset: 0x00 */Can anyone help?

In Windows 10 I visited www.st.com and accept the cookies and then all screen is changed to black and is not able to operate.I asked this question in Mac OS.

When I install the STM32CubeMX in Windows 10 it prompts requiring Java 1.8.0_45(64-bit), in fact there is Java 1.8.0_261_b12 in my computer and my computer is 64_bit but it can't recognize.

Hello, please be warned, I am ultra new to STM32 mikrocontrollers (student).I watched several hours of tutorials and now I am starting my first steps in programming. I am using the CubeMX to set up the code.Unfortunately, I can´t get the USART1 running. I do not know if I configured the pins in CubeMX incorrectly or if I forgot something in the code (most of the code was generated by CubeMX). I took some screenshots and hope they provide enough information for you. What does the warning "Partly disabled conflict with: PB3 mapped with SYS_JTDO-SWO" mean?Kind regardsRené
