Hi,I am writing an external flash loader for the STM32WB55RGVx using a Macronix 64Mbit QSPI NOR Flash (MX25R6435F).I have had some success following the "MOOC - External QSPI loader how to" youtube video series by ST and the example code for memory mapped QSPI available in the "STM32Cube MCU Package" downloaded from ST website.Using the example code modified to my custom board I am able to erase, write, and read memory-mapped from the FLASH.However, when I use the created External loader (based on the example code and video series) I am able to read the FLASH using the STM32 CubeProgrammer, but the first 2 bytes are always 0 even when the flash has been erased only.I also found that the Errata sheet for STM32WB (ES0394) rev. 7 lists some issues with the Quad SPI and I am wondering if there are some additional issues with the QSPI and certain FLASH memories.Has anyone had success writing an external FLASH loader for the STM32WB or experiences with QSPI FLASH that may help me?Any help wi

Hi, I apologize in advance for my English (I'm French)I'm begginer with OTA. So I followed instruction from AN5247. All of the following procedure uses file from STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.8.0 folder. I downloaded last FUS and BLE stack on my Nucleo board and my Dongle. I loaded the binary file of BLE_TransparentModeVCP on my Dongle, and loaded the binary file of BLE_p2pServer_ota on my board starting 0x08007000 (So this binary is already configured to enable OTA).After that, I have launched STM32CubeMonitor-RF, I have started communication with dongle thanks to the right port. I have selected OTA update from "device" menu. The searching for devices procedure works correctly and I find my board with the "OTA Enabled". The issue is following : I load image file path from my folder (HeartRate_OTA for exemple), and click on update, but after some seconds, it's print "No Response"...I don't understand why.Is someone have any idea ? Thanks in advance

HiI'm trying to generate a 64 kHz PWM with 50% dutycycle. I've configured the SYSCLK to use the HSE in combination with the PLL resulting in 64 MHz. Since I'm using TIM1, which is on APB2, I've configured the APB2 timer clock also to 64 MHz. However, if I configure TIM1 (no prescalers) to a period of 1000 and a PWM pulse of 500 the generated frequency is not 64 kHz but 32 kHz. Did I misunderstand something? Where is the additional division by 2 happening?ThanksRegardssecuresClock configuration:Cube generated code:void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInitStruct = {0};   /** Configure the main internal regulator output voltage */ __HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE1); /** Initializes the CPU, AHB and APB busses clocks */ RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSI|RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEState = RC

Hello,it seems cube 5.3.0 generates broken code for the ADC config.the ADC_InitStruct.Clock is never written to CFGR2, and CFGR2 is never written.Any suggestion why ? is this a problem from Cube code generation ?in adc.c : in adc.c : ADC_InitStruct.Clock = LL_ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV4; .. Hey,I'm using a Nucleo-F446RE and the STM32 Cube IDE.I want to start the Timer3 with a changing Edge at a GPIO Pin. Then the Timer should count till another GPIO has a changing Edge aswell. Now the timer should be disabled and the counter should be stored in the DMA.Has anyone an idea how to implement this?Markus

Hi,I have a custom board with a ST32MP157C and a 24AA025E48 on a i2c bus.In the U-Boot, I want to read the MAC address located in the 24AA025E48 on the i2c bus 1 at address 0x53 at offset 0xFA.When I can use the following commands it works (MAC Address: 80:1F:12:36:36:7B)STM32MP> i2c dev 1Setting bus to 1STM32MP> i2c md 53 FA 600fa: 80 1f 12 36 36 7b ...66{STM32MP> but when i use the i2c read it does not answer anything.STM32MP> i2c read 53 1 6 FASTM32MP> what is wrong with the command ?who can i do to store the result in a variable in order to change the board ethernet mac address ?Thanks.

Hello,I updated to CubeMX 6.0.0 and CMSIS 5.7.0 today. The code containing FreeRTOS and LwIP, which I previously created with CubeMX 5.6.1, is no longer working.FreeRTOS gets stuck in vPortValidateInterruptPriority () function in port.c file in about 2 seconds.I made the priority of my own cuts 5 because it says there is a problem with cuts. but it has not improved. When I activated FreeRTOS before, interrupt priorities changed automatically. therefore I cannot be sure that all interrupts are at the right priority.Does anyone have an idea how to fix the problem?

Dear all,I created an external loader for a custom board and I am using it on the STM32CubeIDE (copying it in the specific folder) to debug; everything works fine. How can I use the same external loader in the STM32CubeProgrammer? I tried to insert the stldr file in the programmer's folders where there are the other stldr files but then it does not appear in the external loader list of programmer.Workaround question: is it possible to use the STMCubeIDE program from the microcontroller from a hexadecimal file? If yes, how? Thanks in advance.

Hello,I'm developping a software where some timers are totally configured through STM32CubeIDE and others totally configured through registers. I'm getting errors concerning the register configured timers. Here is an example :../Drivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32F1xx/Include/stm32f103xb.h:649:31: error: expected identifier or '(' before 'TIM_TypeDef'I'm wondering if STM32CubeIDE code and register code is possible! Can someone help me?Regards,

Greetings.I've entirely stuck with this problem.MCU: STM32F407VGT6Realization: custom PCB and F4 Discovery board.Problem: Microcontroller can't gather information from encoders.Description:   There are three motors with built-in encoders that I want to control. These motors have a controller that power encoder and drives motor by a PWM signal. It works with the TTL voltage level(5V). I used a discovery board to make a prototype where encoders were connected directly to the STM32. Everything works just fine. I made a custom PCB where all inputs are isolated.   For motor controllers, I've used ADuM1402 isolators (Quad-channel digital isolator), where two channels are output signals (PWM and direction), and two channels are inputs from the encoder (CHA and CHB). After some tests, I realized that only one of three encoders is processing right, and I get only zeroes from the others.  I checked the voltage and signal on the pin and saw that maximal amp

I have a very simple question and I hope there is some simple answer. After creating translations in TouchGFX, we noticed that numbers can be display either using decimal points ($12,333,444.00) or using decimal commas (12.333.444,00€).When I change the language from say English to French, how do I change the values displayed to differentiate decimal point and decimal comma?

In the datasheet, it says the gyroscope in the LSM6DSO is 1LSb = 70 mdps at +/-2000 dps full scale. I'm curious how this is obtained. For a signed 16-bit number I get 2000 / 32768 = 61mdps.For the accelerometer, 1LSb = 0.061 mg at +/- 2g full scale, which I agree with. 2 / 32768 = 0.061 mg.Where does the discrepancy come from in my gyroscope calculation? Is it simply that the gyroscope is not sensitive enough to realize the ideal angular rate precision?
