If I tick the enable box in STM32CUBEMX the interrupt is enabled when MX_GPIO_Init() is executed. Since this is prior to the initialisation of FreeRTOS queues etc this turns into a disastrous mess.If I leave the box unticked then everything assoociated with this interrupt must be written manually. It's a shame that the interrupt can't be setup in the MX and then manually enabled when the appropriate FreeRTOS task becomes active.

Often I call the C function from the hardware in Model::tick() function. But how can I call the function of Model outside. If I add a member variable to get the Instance(this) of Model, is there any risk? I mean if Model writed by Singleton mode.

Thank you for helping.STM32 Nucleo-32 Schematics packI want to download it from the following, but I can't.https://www.stmcu.jp/design/hwdevelop/other/52255/If you are in charge of the manufacturer, could you please confirm?

I am using the MCU STM32H750VBT6 and I am trying to configure the ADC1 to take readings from a sensor, but I am not using DMA, only that the DMA is not returning the correct value to me, it would give me an example code of how to read a ADC1 channel? Also what settings are used?

Hello,I'm back with some new questions! Thanks for always being helpful... here we go.From within a class that I have extended the Container object, I am unable to simply use my object as such:application().getCurrentScreen()->getRootContainer().add(myObj);then my compiler throws this error:no known conversion for argument 1 from 'modalBase*' to 'touchgfx::Drawable&'If I try the same thing with a custom container that I created from within TouchGFX designer, I can compile just fine, and the code works as expected.I am extending the Container object just as TouchGFX does:class modalBase : public touchgfx::Container { public: modalBase(); virtual ~modalBase() {} virtual void initialize(); protected:   private: }

Hi,did anyone try to connect to the gyro (L3GD20) on F303Discovery board over SPI?I have a problem even with reading the WHO_AM_I register:My code is generated with Cube and I added the following lines:𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝟖_𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚_𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐚𝐦𝐢, 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬_𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐚𝐦𝐢;𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬_𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐚𝐦𝐢 = 𝟎𝐱𝟎𝐟 | 𝟎𝐱𝟖𝟎; -- set RW𝐇𝐀𝐋_𝐆𝐏𝐈𝐎_𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐏𝐢𝐧(𝐆𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐄,𝐆𝐏𝐈𝐎_𝐏𝐈𝐍_𝟑, 𝐆𝐏𝐈𝐎_𝐏𝐈𝐍_𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐓);--reset CS on SPI𝐇𝐀𝐋_𝐒𝐏𝐈_𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞(&𝐡𝐬𝐩𝐢𝟏, &𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬_𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐚𝐦𝐢,&𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚_𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐚𝐦𝐢,𝟐,𝟓𝟎);𝐇𝐀𝐋_𝐆𝐏𝐈𝐎_𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐏𝐢𝐧(𝐆𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐄,𝐆𝐏𝐈𝐎_𝐏𝐈𝐍_𝟑, 𝐆𝐏𝐈𝐎_𝐏𝐈𝐍_𝐒𝐄𝐓);--set CS on SPIHaving that the 𝐌𝐗_𝐒𝐏𝐈𝟏_𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭() is called before so that the SPI should be initialized correctly, but the problem I can't read the expected WHO_AM_I value (D4)

So I started a Project in CubeIDE with the standart settings and the resolving integration issues Video. All worked well. But now i enabled LwIP with standart Settings and I get the Error, that the SDL2/SDL_video.h File in the HALSDL2 Header couldn't be found. But shouldn't this File be excluded from the Build? How can it throw a Error in there? Also if i restart CubeIDE and build again, sometimes i get a lot of errors in the TouchGFX/Simulator Folder, which also should be excluded. If I disable LwIP again and restart CubeIDE it wil work again.Versions:CubeIDE: 1.0.1TouchGFX: 4.10.0MCU: STM32F746G-DiscoverySincerly,Kevin

Hi,I am a newbie on microcontroller but, I can read / write on the GPIO port and control a servo motor in PWM with a timer. Now, I am starting to play around with ST BLE for control the GPIO port and servo motor.I use: Nucleo-F401RE X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 board.To check my hardware and configation, I tested the demo programs and everything works fine. Now, I would like to create my application using the X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 board. To configure the Nucleo-F401RE, I use Stm32CubeMx 5.6.1.I installed :STM32F4 1.25.0 PackageX-Cube-BLE1 5.0.0 stack and sample applications for BlueNRG-MS module.I created a new project and followed the configuration procedure indicated in the document:"Getting started with the STMicroelectronics X-CUBE-BLE1 software package for STM32CubeMX"I fine this document here: C: \ STM32Cubeprojects \ Packs \ STMicroelectronics \ X-CUBE-BLE1 \ 5.0.0 \ DocumentationAt the end of the configuration procedure, in the "Project Manager -> Advanced setting" tab I should get this:Bu

I am working with the STM32MP1-DK2 development board and am trying to use RAUC to do image updates. I am using an SD card with two bootfs and rootfs partitions with one pair being active at a time. Currently I'm in the uboot integration stage where I need to create a script to change the active bootfs and rootfs, below is an example that rauc provides. I've looked at the uboot environment variables but can't seem to find which ones set boot and rootfs partition to use?I see reference to a scan that is done to detect a bootfs but not sure how to modify it. For this application the partitions are going to not change so maybe it's better to remove the scan all together and hardcode the values.uboot env:altbootcmd=run bootcmd android_mmc_boot=mmc dev ${devnum};run android_mmc_splash;run android_mmc_fdt;run android_mmc_kernel;bootm ${kernel_addr_r} - ${fdt_addr_r}; android_mmc_fdt=if part start mmc ${devnum} dt_${suffix} dt_start &&part size mmc ${devnum} dt_${suffix} dt_size;then m

Hello everybody,I need a power conversion DC-DC 24V to 3.3V. So I went to eDesign suite who recommendend me the following architecture:I reproduced it in my design: I produced the board, and when I apply 24V on the input, I obtain only 0.9/1V on the output.Someone have an idea why?Taking in account that I had to use a different inductor from the one recommended (same inductance, lower Isat). And there is another DC/DC converter after this one, supposed to convert 3.3V to 3.0V.Thank you.

Hi,I am not able to connect NUCLEO-L4P5ZG board to a PC and ST_LINK utility. It alway gives me "unexpected error". Detailed message follows:15:06:46 : ST-LINK SN : 066BFF343039564157205441 15:06:46 : ST-LINK Firmware version : V2J35M26 15:06:46 : Connected via SWD. 15:06:46 : SWD Frequency = 4,0 MHz. 15:06:46 : Connection mode : Connect Under Reset. 15:06:46 : Debug in Low Power mode enabled. 15:06:46 : Can not connect to the target! Could someone help me, please? The running firmware is the default one. I tried to program with my own firmware but I wasn't able to do it due to this problem.I've read this link but it didn't help (https://community.st.com/s/article/FAQ-Unable-to-connect-to-STM32H7-devices).Thanks.

I have a problem with launching both cores in STM32H745 in CubeIDE.I've set that configuration:connect under reset for CM7, with halt all coresCross Trigger Interface (CTI) , allow other cores to halt this core and signal halts events to other cores for both core 4 and 7different port numbers for first and second corein CM7 startup I added file *.elf from CM4 with option to download CM4 corein CM4 startup I don't allow it to download this coreI set launch group which starts both coresAfter starting I see that the LED on CM4 turn on only for a very short moment and then turn on only LED on CM7. Therefore, I can debug only with BOOT0 connected to 3V3. If it's not connected it's impossible to connect with ST-Link. I guess that it's not right but I really don't know what cause this problem. Maybe it also cause that core CM4 finishes working. Can you help me or give any link which could help me to configure debugger in CubeIDE or tell why I have a problem with connection without BOOT0?

The STM32F103 does not have a Synchronous Prescaler. and the Asynchronous Prescaler can be set to (2^20 - 1) in the MCU.But STM32CubeMX doesn't allow a number higher than 127. Not really a problem of course, just a bit confusing.

I had gone through the datasheet and user manual. I could not fined respective CAN_TX, CAN_RX pins on the board(Pin Number PA12(CAN_TX), PA11(CAN_RX)). These pins are not available on the Discovery board. Then how can I take CAN TX, RX data to the external transceiver? Can anybody help me to find those pins and how it has to be proceeded for building the CAN ?

Hi STCommunity,I have a project started in keil, configured through CubeMX via keil's "Manage Run-Time Environment" with RTOS2 RTX5 implemented, just as this guide shows: https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.keil.com%2Fpack%2Fdoc%2FSTM32Cube%2Fhtml%2Fcubemx_using.html&data=04%7C01%7C%7Cde618df5b527410658bd08d89298fd9c%7Ce369e0ccf38d406b876915438de2e3af%7C1%7C1%7C637420533809252717%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=cEhUmu%2Fy2t81Cfnj0qNkipiDSKpnWlhIIZviJTjtzlI%3D&reserved=0.From here I'd like to use TouchGFX designer to generate some GUI-software for a NON-touch LCD display for me to implement in my project, but even though ST’s guide claims that it's doable in several of your tutorials/guide (one of them: https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsupport.touchgfx.com%2Fdocs%2Fdevelopment%2Fdevelopment-introduction%23custom-hard

I am using stm32 cube mx and keil. I am trying it using i2s3 in master mode and dma but it is giving wrong inputs. Please help me.

HIUsing eDesignSuite I can not design more than 600mA Buck. Is it impossible? and I want to use Htype but eDesignSuite dose not support. Please explain about this problem.

Hey everyone,i need to find the app_conf.h somwhere but i cant see where. maybe that you guys can help me out??thanks for lookingbye.

Hi, NUCLEO-F303REX-NUCLEO-IHM07M1Maxon motor 496653 with 5.8:1 gear ratioMotor Profiler 5.4.4MotorControl Workbench 5.4.4STM32CubeMX 5.5STM32CubeIDE 1.4.0I have created a motor profile using the motor profiler and confirmed the hardware is working correctly. I have then attempted to create a position control project using the AN5464 as a guide. I have got to a stage where the motor doesn't rotate at all. I have tried to debug the code and I have realised that it gets stuck at the "while(MC_GetAlignmentStatusMotor1()!=TC_ALIGNMENT_COMPLETED){}" line of code. I have attached a PDF showing the value returned by the function. I have then tried to connect to the board via the monitor in the motor control workbench and it shows FOC duration and Software error as soon as the MC_StartMotor1() function is called. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks in advanceKind RegardsManpreet Singh

Hello,I am currently trying to run a Machine Learning application on the SPC584B-DIS MCU. I used SPC5Studio with the AI plugin to create the project and it compiled without an error. The board is connected to the PC by USB cable. When I try to validate the project on the board however, I always receive the error: "LOAD ERROR: STM32 - no connected board(s), invalid firmware or the board should be re-started."From the manual (https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/dm00532742-spc584bdis--discovery-board-stmicroelectronics.pdf) I understand that I need to set the jumpers in a certain way to enable the communication between the board and a host. I am fairly new to embedded programming however, so I don't understand how to set these jumpers properly so I can communicate with the board. Can someone help me understand?Best regards

I am using VL53L1X for indoor presence detection, mounted on the ceiling and looking at the floor, and it is doing great. However recently I tried it in a new location, and I have nothing but errors. I have several sensors there, and all of them are stuck with error type 2, and a sig rate at 0 for 90% of their measurements (using different ROI and different time budget. Usually I use 16x16 and 100ms and it is doing great, but here it seems nothing goes). It is not in direct sunlight, but one wall is open to the exterior, so the ambient light is partly sun, partly artificial light from neon light bulb. However the ambient rate doesn't seem to pike higher than I use to see in other cases. The floor is a bit dirty, its paint is dark but reflects light a lot. However errors are the same when an object is present, so the floor may not be the cause. Is it possible that an unknown source of 940nm could mess this up ? An IR CCTV for instance ?

Hi,i am looking to buy a couple of those for a project i just startet with.Is there any differents that is worth to mention between those 3 types?Just looking forward to which one i should buy. Regards
