Are the low level interfaces such as LL_GPIO_MODE available for STM32MP157C? If so, where can I find the headers? I created a project using STM32CubeIDE but can only see headers for HAL.

Hello,I'm trying to discharge the solid state thin film lithium battery EFL700A39, with a discharge current of 0.7 mA, in the aim of reaching a state of charge of approximately 20%. Actually, the problem is the significant difference of voltages when the battery is without load and when the the load is connected. In other words, for example, the no-load voltage of the battery is 4.152 V. When connected to a load extracting 0.7mA, the initial voltage of the battery changes from 4.152V to 3.85 V. Which is for me is kind of weird. So should I refer to the voltage with or without load ? any idea ?Thank you for your help,Georgina

The processor never wakes up from STOP1 mode and I do not know why.Reading RTC time and date works, so I know the RTC clock is running. With debugger (using HAL_EnableDBGStopmode()), I notice that the firmware is stuck in __WFI()I'm using STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.13.0static void deepsleep(uint32_t intervalms) { __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE(); // Enable Power Control clock   HAL_RTCEx_BKUPWrite(&hrtc, RTC_BKP_DR1, 0x32F2); HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(RTC_WKUP_IRQn);   if (HAL_RTCEx_DeactivateWakeUpTimer(&hrtc) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }   // clear wake up flags __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WU); __HAL_RTC_WAKEUPTIMER_CLEAR_FLAG(&hrtc, RTC_FLAG_WUTF); __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUFI);   uint32_t _time = (intervalms * 2314) / 1000; if (HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT(&hrtc, _time, RTC_WAKEUPCLOCK_RTCCLK_DIV16) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }   HAL_SuspendTick(); HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode(PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON, PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI); // Issue: remains

Hi, we're trying to port an application from a F7 chip to the STM32H7 mostly for the purpotedly better performance of the ADC on the H7. However, we've run into an issue I'm not sure I can explain. I'm using the H747 Disocvery board as a prototype at the moment. The signal coming into the board is a single ended signal from 0 - 3.3V centred at 1.65V. I'm using an example sine wave at with an amplitude of 0.5V as a test signal here. When I apply this offset to the input of the ADC, the signal saturates at -1.5V to +1.5V as shown below and a quick FFT (130kHz signal) seems to confirm that as well.  If I don't apply the offset and I let the signal swing from 0 to 0.5V, i get the expected output shown here:  I use HAL and I'm not sure if I'm missing a setting or something. This behaviour is not seen on the F7 board and I'm not sure what could be causing the spikes to occur here.Any tips appreciated

Hello,I have a custom board based on STM32MP151-C with an eMMC on the following pins:SDMMC2_CK PE3 (AF09)SDMMC2_D0  PE6 (AF07)SDMMC2_CMD   PG6 (AF10)I read that the ROM expects the the SDMMC2_D0 pin on PB14 so I need to change it by using values from the OTP. I found this link (https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AkQJiHSQW/how-to-change-emmc-interface) and did the same as the ST Support, just for my pins. Here are my results.OTP3 = 0x00000004    SDMMC2 (uses non default AFmux defined in OTP)OTP5 = 0x38745394SDMMC2_CK = PE3 (bits[15:0]: port0=5=GPIOE, pin0=3, afmux0=9, mode0=4=AF;pull-up;medium-speed)SDMMC2_D0 = PC8 (bits[31:16]: port1=3=GPIOC, pin1=8, afmux1=7, mode1=4=AF;pull-up;medium-speed)OTP6 = 0x000076A4SDMMC2_CMD = PG6 (bits[15:0]: port2=7=GPIOG, pin2=6, afmux2=10, mode2=4=AF;pull-up;medium-speed)Could someone please let me know if I calculated the OTP values correctly? So I dont brick the board.PS: How do I determine th

Today I have a project/board which uses the ST25R3911B NFC transceiver from ST, and it uses a dual layer coil (made of PCB copper traces) on the RF part. This coil is dual layer, that is, is a SINGLE coil made on the 2 sides of the board. But I have a new situation/project where I want to have 2 (TWO/DUAL) coils connected to the NFC transceiver, and these coils would be separated with around 6 centimeters apart (one coil reads each side of the thing). They would be placed connected in parallel with their pair of wires... Is that possible? Is there a NFC transceiver from ST which can drive/read 2 independent coils? What can be done engineers? Or do I need to use a pair of transceivers?Regards,Jeferson.

Hello,I'm developing an ultra-low-power circuit with LIS2DE12. I would like to have the accelerometer running with IRQ enabled, but serial communication shutted down.I can't understand at whitch power path the INT1 and INT2 are connected (Vdd or VddIO).Is it possible to have INT1 and INT2 output working if I power-up the LIS2DE12 only by Vdd?Thanks.

Can someone helps me how to use the LCD on the STM32F413H-Disco, I want to display a message on it.Have you got some suggestions please?thanks

Dear STM community and teamI'd like to try out some widget on the TouchGFX Simulator but since the png-data does not show properly on the simulation, it is difficult to do so. Any idea to resolve this problem?I have attached some pictures of the simulation. Temperaturebar and icons on the buttons is not displayed correctly.

Hi,I want to update the software of the STM32F746BGT via a USB stick or Ethernet connexion.Firstly, how can I use the USB stick to update the software inside the MCU ?How can I use the Internet connexion (via UART : Lantronix XPORT) to update the software inside the MCU ?Best regards

Hello All,I was wondering if it is possible to clock another STM32 MCU (STMF031) using the single existing crystal oscillator that is currently clocking the main MCU (STM32F334). It could really save me space, power, cost and another clocking source on the board. If yes, how?BRAsrar

I am learning on using the STM32L431CC FLASH memory to store data after the microcontroller loses power. I'm using 'stm32f103rc'.I connected the button to the GPIO PIN.If the button is still pressed, the HIGH signal will continue to occur. So, how do you detect how long the HIGH signal has been pressed?Because when the button is pressed for more than 0.5 seconds, you want to generate a specific function.I lack knowledge of hardware.

Hi,We are using STM32F746ZET6.we have to calculate input frequency on 5 pins from 40khz to 0.01hz.currently we are using 50 micro seconds timer and at every timer interrupt we are processing frequency calculation based on the polling of the pin status(high or low), with this approach currently we are able to capture the frequency bellow 1hz with good accuracy but for frequency higher then 500hz or more we are not getting proper results, currently for 20000hz(20khz) we are getting 20014hz.we can not use GPIO interrupt other wise we will get frequent interrupts as there are total 5 pins.currently we are capturing the input raising edge using timer capture mode but in this we are not able to detect frequency decimals points, as it only calculates raising edges then we read it at every one second so number of counts in 1 second will be our frequency.but this is not giving us frequency in decimals, e.g 5.5hz, 18.9hz.can we use timer input capture for calculating frequency without more inter

How do I obtain one? Cube isn't helpful -- this isn't a filter parameter. I need an MCU with built-in backup battery domain for the RTC. I don't want to build anything external and the design must not be capable of powering up the core from the battery, even by accident. The core must remain OFF for months at a time.

Hi, I have implemented a tilt and heading calculation using the simplified heading calculation that only works when the device is horizontal, and was until now ignoring the magnetic field value on the Z ax. Now I'm trying to implement a tilt compensated heading to be able to calculate heading when the device is not horizontal, and I was starting by trying to obtain the Z ax max and min magnetic field value to compensate its offset as I did before on the X and Y axes, and noticed that the minimum is with the board lying horizontally on the table, components facing up, and the maximum is with the board lying horizontally on the table with the components facing down, I never get close to these max/min values rotating the board in any other direction. I was rotating the board vertically and the Z value varies but its max/min value when it is in a vertical position is less than half of the value when it is lying horizontally on the table. Does it makes sense? For the Z ax It seems that the

Hello, I am very new to STM32 MCUs and hoping someone can explain to me the HardFault_Handler and possible reasons why my code is jumping to here? If there is a good resource which discusses this, that would also be very useful but I haven't been able to find anything myself. Thanks,Matthew

Hi everybody. When i open "SDK5x - STEVAL-SPIN3201 - BullRunning.ioc" file (that is pre-compiled example FOC motor control firmware provided by ST), "can't add: motorcontrol files not found" fault message appears on my screen. I already copied Motor Control SDK library file into CubeMx reposity directory. But it didn't work.

Hello,I used to work with IAR.In IAR call stack, if ever you break into an ISR, the call stack shows you where you were in the "main" code just before the ISR fired. Now, with STM32Cube MX, the call stack only shows the call stack since the root ISR function, but we don't know which function has been interrupted. How to read this info ?Thanks.Best regards,V.

I am looking for the source code of CR95HF.DLL.The project successfully implements bidirectional comms between CH95HF hardware (which is based on the DEMO-CR95HF-A board) with a M24SR02-Y in the target device. We use CR95HF.DLL V1.2 with various Delphi-developed applications. A problem has been observed when the applications are used in countries that do not use US English environments. The nul-terminated paraters used in the DLL calls appear to be an issue. Data appears to be modified IN the DLL with single characters appearing as two bytes (i.e. unicode representations)My feeling is that modifying the DLL would solve this problem.

Hello,I want to use MDMA on STM32H7 to copy data from ADC to DTCM RAM. But it is not clear to me how to set it up . From ref manual I asume that there is a connection with "standard DMA" DMA1 or DMA2, maybe I have to set up a channel there to, but there is no clear instruction. Even with CubeMX it is not clear. Where to setup source and destination address? What is address mask and data mask for? DMAMUX seems to be not available in CubeMX.Is there any application note or example code? Thanks for any helpMartin
