Solved

Doing the set up in MXI have four ADC channels on APB2 with PCLK2 at 84 MHz sampling 4 microphones.The recommended audio sampling rate stretch from 44.1 kHz up to 96 kHz, so initially I'm happy anywhere in that range for now. I have set the clock pre-scaler to divide PCLK2 / 4 so the ADC clock is at 21 MHzI have 12 bit resolution which takes 15 ADC cycles but then in the "rank" section of the parameter settings there is a pull down for sampling time for each channel. I'm guessing that the value I pass in the "rank" section is what I would use to get the final sampling rate.e.g. if I chose 84 cycles for each channel then I would have a sample rate of 250 kHz per channel giving a sample rate for all conversions of 62.5 kHz?Or do I add the sample time to the resolution time e.g. 84+15 giving a sample rate of ~212 kHz per channel?

I am using a UX_Device_Audio2.0-based project on H7. When I play a stereo file (actually dual mono), the right channel plays correctly, but the left channel contains a mix of left + right.When I play mono file, the right channel is much louder while the left is extremely quiet.Could this be a codec configuration issue (mixer/settings), a USB audio packet scheduling problem, or something else? I can't seem to find a fix yet.

I am trying to complete one – just one – ADC conversion without using DMA. This is sort of a one-off sampling after power-on, and subsquently the regular sequence conversion with DMA is to take over. But I don't get that far.I'm trying to sample ADC1 channel 15, but never get a high EOC flag. To be absolutely certain about how the ADC is set up, I've read these register values via STM32CubeProgrammer:ADC1_CFGR = 0x80000000In short: Injected queue disabled; contiuous and discontinuous modes off; hardware trigger disabled; DMA disabled.ADC1_CFGR2 = 0In short: BULB disabled; gain compensation disabled; oversampling disabled.ADC1_SMPR2 = 0x0003E000In short: Channel 15 sampling time 640.5 clock cycles; channel 14 sampling time 247.5 clock cycles.ADC1_SQR1 = 0x081C23C0In short: First conversion channel is 15. Number of conversions is 1. All other bits should be irrelevant.ADC1_CR = 0x10000005In short: ADC voltage regulator is enabled; ADC is enabled: ADC is converting (apparently)ADC1_ISR =

I work on the STM32U5G9J-DK2 and what I noticed, the RTC doesn't accepted properly hour value which is greater than 12. Than calendar doesn't work, don't actuallize and the hours going UP for example from 23 to 24 and from 24 to 25 and so on... It's really strange bcos on the STM32F407 it work flawlesly without any problem. The solution is using 12 hour format write and sign AM/PM by RTC_TimeTypeDef.TimeFormat value 0 = AM, 1 = PM. Then calendar is properly running and if anyone like me want use 24 hour time format it need realised by software.Or if anyone know for this MCU other method to use 24H format by hardware you could be posting below.

At present, as of the last Hal version as far as I know, obk cannot be used in a non trust zone project.FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_QUADWORD_OBK fails because the NS bits aren't set, among other issues.Is this by design, IE obk can't be used by non TZ, or is this just simply not a completed or fully fixed feature? Here is what I'm doingI've edited HAL_FLASHEx_Erase like#if defined (FLASH_SR_OBKERR) else if ((pEraseInit->TypeErase&~(FLASH_NON_SECURE_MASK)) == FLASH_TYPEERASE_OBK_ALT) { /* OBK erase to be done */ FLASH_OBKErase(); /* Wait for last operation to be completed */ status = FLASH_WaitForLastOperation(FLASH_TIMEOUT_VALUE); } #endif /* FLASH_SR_OBKERR */And my code is:int keyStorageSavePrivate(char* key) { uint32_t status; uint32_t len = strnlen(key, KEY_STORAGE_SIZE - 16); int ret = 0; static uint32_t FlashWord[4]; if (len >= KEY_STORAGE_SIZE - 16) { return 1; } len += 1; // Add string 0 HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); HAL_FLASHEx_OBK_Unlock(); if (len & 0b

Problem When i call * USBPD_PE_SVDM_RequestAttentionI get a OK message response but the callback never gets called.  * USBPD_VDM_SendAttention Curious to know if there's any good way to debug this?  Current debugging stepsI have a STM32G0-Disco board setup to capture the messages over USB-PD and display them with ST's USB-PD monitoring software.  So i know the attention pin is not currently activating.  I have a breakpoint to make sure that USBPD_PE_SVDM_RequestAttention is being called.  If i wait a few seconds and then trigger it to call USBPD_PE_SVDM_RequestAttention again i get a BUSY error.  So i figure it's trying to send it, it just can't?   My projectI'm using this as my base with a stm32G071- nucleo board.  I grab the CC lines from usb with a breakout board that passes the USB datalines through.  * https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeG0/tree/master/Projects/STM32

Initially a comment on the How to program an STM32 with another STM32 using an embedded bootloader Knowledge Base article.Moved to the forum for better visibility & discussion.STM32G071 --> STM32F072 Hello Mr Montanari,Thanks a lot for your article.I carried out the following test with Host: STM32G071KBT6 and devices: STM32G071KBT6 or STM32F072RBT6. In both cases, I encounter a problem when reading the Flash (0x4002200); the response is NACK (STM32G071) or ACK followed by NACK (STM32F072). Could you indicate potential solutions to resolve this problem? Thank you in advance.

Hello all,I'm facing a wired issue. After the IDE update in the Help menu there is no more the entry to log-in in myST.Do you have any suggestion how to reach the myST login from it?I'm running the IDE on Windows. Thanks in advance!

Dear community,I am currently working with the SPC58 E-Line processor placed in the mother daughter evaluation board.I am using the AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK with OpenOCD. The reference manual for the E-Line is similar o the G-Line. I have only found the SVD file for the G-Line, so I therefore thought, that using this SVD file could work. Sadly the peripherals remain blank and I cannot see any memories.I would be very happy if someone could tell me, how to get the correct SVD file or what do I have to change to get it running.Kind regards,Tassilo P.s I have used the attached manual, to access the peripherals: How to use the AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK programmer and debugger for SPC5 automotive microcontrollers - User manual

Hi, can anybody identify this MOSFET please? Google and ST search engine couldn't help me. Thank you in advance, István

Hello everyone, my programme on Nucleo-F767ZI do not run when I power ON by external power supply. I force to press reset button or power supply st-link by usb cable.I searched some solutions such as: BOOT0 to GND; or turn on bit POR = 1 in RCC_CSR, but nothing worked. I don't want to use external circuit to reset.Anyone can share with me some useful solutions to solve this issue?

Good day,I'm trying to get motor profiler running on an X-Nucleo-IHM17M1. The only compatible Nucleo board I have is a F303RE.To enable the motor profiler application, it requires the selection of 3 shunt current sensing. According to this link, it seems that both the IHM17M1 and F303RE support 3 shunt current sensing.Yet, when I try and configure the project, only single shunt is available. This is not the case for the other Nucleo boards.That said, I do receive the following warning when creating the project.Is there any solution for this, or should I use a different Nulceo board?

Hello!I have encountered a problem - I am unable to create a project for STM32F769I-DISCO board with both FreeRTOS using CMSIS_V2 interface and LwIP with NO_SYS parameter set to "OS Used".In old project that was setup with STM32CubeMX V6.14.0 using STM32Cube FW-F7 V1.17.2 I had no problem with setting both CMSIS_V2 and "OS Used" value.In new project that uses STM32CubeMX V6.16.1 and STM32Cube FW_F7 V1.14.4 I have to use CMSIS_V1 interface for FreeRTOS if I want to change LwIP's NO_SYS parameter to "OS Used".Did something change in recent updates, is it a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thank You for help in advance. Using FreeRTOS with CMSIS_V2Can't change NO_OS parameterCubeMX 6.16.1, Firmware F7_V1.17.4

Hi,Do we have sample code demonstrating continuous conversions for U545 ADC1 with GPDMA using "Standard Request Mode". The sample code should use two or more channels - say IN1, IN2. I am migrating a project from F105/F405 and am a little overwhelmed by the setting options to be configured with U545.The ADC_DMA_Transfer example at STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_U5_V1.8.0\Projects\NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q\Examples\ADC\ADC_DMA_Transfer  uses Linked-List Mode and only demonstrates a single ADC channel. Thanks.

Hello,I am unable to connect to TouchGFX version 4.26 to download or access the demo and example projects from the software download section.My system is connected to the internet; however, the application itself does not connect to the server.Please let me know how I can resolve this issue.

Hello,I have a question about the flash memory map in the Secure project.I’m using the following application as an example:STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.5.1\Projects\NUCLEO-H563ZI\Applications\ROT\OEMiROT_Appli_TrustZone\STM32CubeIDEIn the memory map, two flash regions are shown: - FLASH:              0x0c018400 - 0x0c01dfff - FLASH_NSC:    0x0c01c000 - 0x0c01c3ffQuestion:Should the FLASH_NSC region overlap the FLASH area, or should it be placed after the FLASH region?If it should overlap, what is the purpose of doing that? In this example, it overlaps.Thank You.

Hi,In paragraph 1.2 “Launch the provisioning script” I read that:Launch one of the provided scripts depending on your IDE:For EWARM or MDK-ARM: launch the provisioning.bat script.For STM32CubeIDE: launch the provisioning.sh script.I have Windows and STM32CubeIDE. Can I run the provisioning.sh script on Windows?Looking into the env.sh script, I found the following code:  echo ${OS} | grep -i -e windows -e mingw >/dev/null if [ $? == 0 ]; then echo "" echo " ==========================================" echo "| For Windows OS, please use .bat scripts. |" echo " ==========================================" echo "" echo " Press any key to continue..." echo read -p "" -n1 -s exit 0 fi  It seems that the script cannot be run on Windows.Could you please advise how to run the provisioning script for STM32CubeIDE on Windows?Thank you very much for your support.Best regards,Marco

As shown in the figure, when using one QSPI, the other becomes unselectable.

Hello, I would like to know if I can use FP-AI-Vision to design my own application, for example, to detect trees in a yard. Or is it designed only for the three applications: food recognition, person presence detection, and people counting?

Good morning,I would like to measure the supply voltage on an STM32H573RI. To do this, I measure VREFINT and then want to calculate the supply voltage.My approach (simplified):sConfig.Channel = ADC_CHANNEL_VREFINT; sConfig.Rank = ADC_REGULAR_RANK_1; sConfig.SamplingTime = ADC_SAMPLETIME_640CYCLES_5; sConfig.SingleDiff = ADC_SINGLE_ENDED; sConfig.OffsetNumber = ADC_OFFSET_NONE; sConfig.Offset = 0; HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel(&hadc1, &sConfig); while (!__HAL_ADC_GET_FLAG(&hadc1, ADC_FLAG_EOC)); return HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); Using the ADC value of VREFINT, I calculate the supply voltage as follows:static uint16_t Calc_VREF(uint16_t adc_value) { uint16_t vrefint_cal = (uint16_t) (*(uint16_t *) (0x08FFF810)); uint16_t vrefint_voltage = 3300; return (uint16_t)(vrefint_voltage * vrefint_cal / adc_value); } My ADC delivers a value of 1.562 digits for VREFINT, while the calibration value is 1.503 digits. According to my calculations, the reference voltage is therefor

Hi community,I am working with STM32H747I-DISCO Board(Dual cortex M7+M4)MP34DT05-A digital MEMS microphone is integrated on the board and issues are facing while bringup.Issues follows:As per the schematic there is one digital microphone connected to the MCU using SAI Interface with default connectionsI am trying to bringup it with the help of refernce document(Ref AN5027).When i am understnading this document a few questions have been raised. Those question as follows.1.There are two types of mode  mono modestereo mode       stereo modeIf we see the schematic:One digital microphone is connected to stm32 MCU and it looks like mono mode configuration But when I am following mono mode configuration process to bring up it then pins which are enabling while configuring is mismatching with pins which are connected to this digital microphone as per the schematic.Connection pins – (SAI4_CK1) PE2, (SAI4_D1) PC1 (as per the schematic)Enabling Pins :In stereo mode config

I am using STM32WBA5MMG in my design. This the development board schematic. Below image is from development board schematic.As per the constrains , SWDIO and SWCLK must be length matched. Also need to provide a shield.My questions are given below.SWDIO and SWCLK are not differential lines, why length matching is required for them.By shield did they mean routing SWDIO and SWCLK on top of a solid GND plane

Hi everyone,I’m trying to get the LwIP examples from the stm32-hotspot GitHub (this one: https://github.com/stm32-hotspot/STM32H7-LwIP-Examples) running on my NUCLEO-H723ZG, but I’m hitting a wall.The README is actually great and super clear, which is why I’m surprised I can’t get it to work. I’ve built the project and flashed it to the board, and I have it connected directly to my laptop via Ethernet.The docs say the IP should be 192.168.1.10, but when I try to ping it, I get nothing. I also took a look at the code and it looked like the IP might be set to 192.168.1.1 instead, so I tried pinging that too, still no luck.Am I missing something basic here? Is it enough to just build and flash the code, or do I need to tweak some jumpers on the Nucleo or change my laptop's manual IP settings to be on the same subnet?I’d really appreciate it if someone who has used this repo could point me in the right direction.Thanks!mpek29

I have a simple function with loop that checks RX pin state for 10ms, and if there was high level - breaks loop and exits. it works ok with -O0, but is broken with -Os or -O1 (-O2) or -Og - it loops forever.Here's code:uint8_t isModemOn() { uint32_t expire = uwTick + 10; while (expire - uwTick < 11) { // check RXD pin level, if low for 10ms - consider modem is off if (LL_GPIO_ReadInputPort(GPIOA) & LL_GPIO_PIN_10) { return 1; } } return 0; }and how it's appears in listing080003dc <isModemOn>: * @PAram GPIOx GPIO Port * @retval Input data register value of port */ __STATIC_INLINE uint32_t LL_GPIO_ReadInputPort(GPIO_TypeDef *GPIOx) { return (uint32_t)(READ_REG(GPIOx->IDR)); 80003dc: 21a0 movs r1, #160 @ 0xa0 //#pragma GCC optimize ("O0") // Error in -Os optimization uint8_t isModemOn() { uint32_t expire = uwTick + 10; while (expire - uwTick < 11) { // check RXD pin level, if low for 10ms - consider modem is off if (LL_GPIO_ReadInputPort(GPIOA) & LL
