Hello STM Community,I am facing a GPIO output issue on the STM32 NUCLEO-WL55JC2 board and would like some clarification.Test case:I am using the following line of code to set a GPIO pin HIGH:  HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_0, GPIO_PIN_SET); // LED ON Observation on different boards: NUCLEO-F446RE:Same code used.GPIO pin goes HIGH correctly.External LED connected to the pin turns ON.Multimeter shows ~3.3 V on the pin. NUCLEO-WL55JC2:Same code used.Code flashes successfully, no errors.GPIO pin does not show any voltage when measured with a multimeter.External LED connected to the same pin does not turn ON.Onboard LEDs (LD1, LD2, LD3) work correctly.GPIO configuration:Pin configured as GPIO Output (Push-Pull) in CubeMX.No alternate function selected. No pull-up or pull-down enabled.Board powered via USB.STM32CubeIDE version: v1.19Key concern:Even after calling HAL_GPIO_WritePin(..., GPIO_PIN_SET), the GPIO pin on NUCLEO-WL55JC2 does not show 3.3 V,

Hello ST Community,Based on a photo found on the internet of the LIS3DH chip and a comparison with the package information in the datasheet, I found a discrepancy in the footprint. The datasheet appears to show the pin-1 mark on the opposite side compared to the photo. I also found differences between two different online libraries that you recommend on your website.I am pretty sure that the correct position is as shown in the photo or in the Ultra Librarian library, but could you please clarify the correct location of the pin-1 mark, both on the top of the IC and on the bottom of the IC?Many thanks.Internet Photo:Datasheet page 50 (LGA-16 package information)SymacSys library ( https://componentsearchengine.com/ )Ultra Librarian 3D model (TOP, Opacity 25%)What do you think @Federica Bossi ? ;)

Hi Sir,1. Regarding Initialization (Absolute Orientation)In my application, I need to obtain an absolute orientation (Roll, Pitch, and Yaw) relative to the Earth's frame. Is my understanding correct that the Initial Quaternion must be computed using both Accelerometer and Magnetometer data (as per DT0058 Step 4) to establish the starting reference?Since the gyroscope only measures angular rates, is it true that a 6-axis (Acc+Gyro) initialization alone cannot provide an absolute Yaw/Heading reference?2. Regarding DT0060 Step 2 I would like to confirm the definitions and implementation of the mixing process:Q1 Definition: Is Q1 the "dynamic quaternion" that is updated via gyroscope integration in Step 1?Q2 Definition: Is Q2 the "reference quaternion" calculated from the accelerometer and magnetometer data, used to correct the drift of Q1?Weighting Parameter (alpha): For a handheld device, what is the recommended range for the alpha parameter in the formula Q = Q1*alpha + Q2*(1-alpha) to

Hello, I'm trying to use ODR-triggered to get data aligned with my clock. I'm sending a square wave 50% duty cycle period 2000ms over INT2 pin, yet when I poll the IMU every 50 ms the accel and gyro data changes, even though it should be aligned to the edges every 1000 ms.I've double checked the registers to confirm they are correct and have an analyzer attached to verify INT2 pin is being sent signals. // init.c lsm6dsv320x_block_data_update_set(&data->ctx, PROPERTY_ENABLE); lsm6dsv320x_xl_data_rate_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_ODR_OFF); lsm6dsv320x_gy_data_rate_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_ODR_OFF); lsm6dsv320x_xl_mode_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_XL_ODR_TRIGGERED_MD); lsm6dsv320x_gy_mode_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_GY_ODR_TRIGGERED_MD); lsm6dsv320x_xl_full_scale_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_2g); lsm6dsv320x_gy_full_scale_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_2000dps); lsm6dsv320x_xl_data_rate_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_ODR_AT_240Hz); l

I'm using STM32CubeMX for STM32N657x0HxQ controller. I would like to use ST ISP Library to handle MB1854 camera module. But I could not find the X-CUBE-ISP in STM32CubeMX Pinout & Configuration page, which is as follows. So I tried to import x-cube-isp.zip file downloaded from GitHub. But I came across the following error message. My STM32CubeMX version is Version 6.16.1 for Windows 11.

Hello everyone, I've finished my project with STM32WBA55 and now I'm going to design a small circuit board. I'm using Altium Designer. I can't access the CAD files for Nucleo WBA55. Can you help me? I don't understand if St.com has changed or is no longer available. I need access to the files shown in the image below.   CAD in this image

Hello, everyone! My project consists of creating a sensor system that works with NFC. It will be a TAG with the st25dv04k chip, which will power a set of chips through Energy Harvesting. The reader system consists of the ST25R300, chosen for its transmission power. Currently, for the first steps, I am using the development cores: NFC04A1 and NFC12A1. And the RFAL middleware with STM32CubeIDE.  My first steps were to use the library's polling example to do an initial anchoring test between the tag and reader, which worked well. My current goal is to expand the polling example to work better with Energy Harvesting, and thus achieve higher voltage measurements to consolidate the idea of powering chips with it.I made an improvised measurement on the EH pin of the x-core while it was running the polling example on the NFC12A1 x-core, to get an idea, and I reached 10 mV on the EH pin. What can I do to increase this to perhaps 1V, for example? Would it be possible to reach 3V in EH?Fr

Is this connection real?I don't think so. DCACHE implementation subchapter says:The DCACHE1 is placed on Cortex®-M33 S-AHB bus, and caches only the external RAMmemory region (OCTOSPI, HSPI, and FMC), in the address range [0x6000 0000:0xAFFFFFFF] of the memory map.Indeed, by placing a bus matrix demultiplexing node in front of the DCACHE1, S-AHB busmemory requests addressing SRAM region or peripherals region (respectively in ranges[0x2000 0000:0x3FFF FFFF] and [0x4000 0000:0x5FFF FFFF]) are routed directly to themain AHB bus matrix, and the DCACHE1 is bypassed.whereas the GFXMMU slave port is at 0x2400'0000.JW

Hello STM community, I am working with the STM32N6570-DK Discovery kit and trying to build a pipeline for live camera streaming over Ethernet using NetX Duo, ThreadX and FileX. I am currently using the inbuilt CubeIDE example project Nx_WebServer. My current setup is: STM32N6570-DKAzure RTOS: ThreadX, NetX Duo, FileXEthernet RMII with static IPSD card for web contentHTTP server using NetX DuoGoal: later integrate CSI camera streaming over Ethernet What works: The board gets a static IP successfully.Ethernet link is up.Ping works from PC.SD card is mounted correctly and HTML files are accessible through FileX.HTTP server starts without error. Issue faced: I am unable to move forward toward live camera streaming. There is no reference or example for CSI camera streaming over Ethernet using NetX Duo on STM32N6570.I also faced multiple issues with thread creation order and NetX initialization, which took significant time to debug. My question: Is there any recommended architecture, applicat

Hello, I am using SPC582Bxx controller. I want to configure software watchdog timer in my project. How to add that SWT. Currently I'm using autodevkit studio for software development. Please tell me how to configure that?Thank you,

Hello everyone, I am currently working on a lifetime estimation for a SiC-based power converter design. I am specifically looking for Power Cycling Capability data for discrete SiC MOSFETs in TO-247 packages. While power modules (like HybridPACK or EasyPACK) usually have well-documented Nf curves in their application notes, finding similar "to-failure" data for discrete SiC components is proving to be difficult. I am looking for an analytical lifetime model for discrete SiC devices, ideally using the CIP2008 formula or a similar approach with clearly defined parameters. Any insights, documentation, or links to technical papers would be greatly appreciated, Best regards

We would like to get spice model of STD10NF10T4 to do some simulation. Who can help me on this? Thanks. BRADeng

Hi, I have been looking at this newer ST87M01 as of here :- https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/st87m01.pdf and wondered does it support LTE-M or only NB-IOT? Thanks!

So i was looking at the 16-bit ADC characterisics in the datasheet of STM32H723ZG. Here it says for LQFP packages, values might differ. I have LQFP 144 , and i can't find any package specific datasheets. Where can i find the information for my package. I was trying to find the maximum adc sampling rate.

We have a STM32H725 and would like to use the RTC timestamp when entering/exiting standby but from what I understand from the reference manual this is not possible? I did run a quick test and the event doesn't seem to fire even though it works as expected when  we power it down externally so it runs only on VBAT.Before I give up and solve it a different way I came here to verify whether it was possible to do so? // Hopeful developer

Hello STM Community,I am working with the STM32 NUCLEO-WL55JC2 board using STM32CubeIDE v1.19, and I am facing an issue with external GPIO usage. What is working:Project creation, build, and flashing work correctly.Debugging and programming via ST-LINK work without issues.Onboard LEDs (LD1, LD2, LD3) blink correctly using GPIO output configuration.Issue description:When I connect an external LED to any GPIO pin (for example PA5, PB5, or other GPIO pins), the LED does not blink, even though:The firmware is flashed successfully. The GPIO pin is configured as GPIO Output (Push-Pull) in CubeMX.The pin is toggled in the code using HAL_GPIO_TogglePin() / HAL_GPIO_WritePin().Key observation:Onboard LEDs blink as expected.External LEDs do not blink on any GPIO pin I tried. The same GPIO toggle logic works for onboard LEDs but not for externally connected LEDs.Hardware setup:External LED connected to GPIO pin through a 220Ω–330Ω resistorLED cathode connected to GNDBoard powered via USBChecks alrea

Using the NVM configuration utility for the STEVAL-ISC004V1 seems to program fineHowever regardless of what I am writing the to the NVM, the source capabilities on the device dashboard never change and always show 3 PDOs for 5, 9, and 15 volts.

Hi,I would like to use the evaluation board STEVAL-IME014V1B to drive piezoelectric transducers for medical applications. Does the evaluation module include a built-in H-bridge for direct drive of ultrasound transducers? May I directly connect the demo board to the transducers?Regards

I'm trying to add the linux "gpio-poweroff" function to the distribution package. I've added the following to my device tree:gpio-poweroff { compatible = "gpio-poweroff"; gpios = <&gpioe 1 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>; timeout-ms = <3000>; };The kernel/device tree compiles OK, but the poweroff function does not work. The logs give the following lines about the poweroff:[ 1.482136] poweroff-gpio gpio-poweroff: gpio_poweroff_probe: pm_power_off function already registered [ 1.482174] poweroff-gpio: probe of gpio-poweroff failed with error -16So I guess openSTLinux already has some handler attached? How do I disable this?

Good morning,I'm developing a device with these requirements: STM32F446RET6 No internet (NTP) or GPS connection Real-Time clock, set manually (so, the less often a user has to set it, the better) Outdoor -20°C~70°C temperature range (most installations in continental USA) Ideally, we would like to get our total clock drift under 10 minutes/year (20 ppm) if possible. I created one prototype using an Abracon 32.768kHz crystal for the LSE, with two C0G 6pF load capacitors. To test the prototype, I routed the LSE to the MCO1 and measured the clock frequency as we swept the temperature from -20°C to 70°C in our temperature chamber. I measured that and compared the ppm deviation to the expected deviation given by abracon (ppm = (T-25°C)^2 * (-0.035ppm)): Time [wall clock time] Ambient Temperature [°C] measured MCO frequency [kHz] ppm deviation Predicted deviation (per abracon datasheet equation) 10:10 -20.9 32.76681 -36.3 -73.74 10:13 -20.6 32.76672 -39.1 -72.78 10:24 -11.9 32.767

Hi,I'm trying to generate a pulse of a fixed length when my application triggers it, on one of two timer outputs, depending on a boolean value. My problem is that it works only once. The first time I start the timer, I get a nice pulse, but the subsequent times I get nothing. The outputs stay low. My guess is that I need to "re-arm" the pulse generation, but I can't figure out how to do so – or if that is even the issue. My "triggering code" is here. Several code lines are probably unnecessary, but have been added out of pure deperation.void SetShutterState(bool State) { TIM15->CR1 &=~ TIM_CR1_CEN; // Stopping timer. I don't think this is necessary. TIM15->SR = 0; // Clearing status bits. Probably not necessary either. TIM15->CNT = 0; // Setting counter value to 0. Just in case - shouldn't be nevessary. TIM15->CR1 |= TIM_CR1_OPM; // Setting One Pulse Mode. I doubt that this is necessary every time. TIM15->CCER = TIM_CCER_CC2E | TIM_CCER_CC1E; // Enabling timer o

HI,I have been evaluating the DAC module of STM32H743IIT6 recently. However, the data provided in the data sheet does not specify the temperature conditions under which it was measured. When I conducted the high-temperature test at 125℃, the measured data exceeded the standards given in the data sheet. Could you please inform me of the temperature range within which the DAC values in the data sheet were measured? Looking forward to your reply!

Hi, I want to set up the Ethernet peripheral of the STM32H743 microcontroller using lwIP, but I’m facing a problem and I can’t get a ping response. I have reviewed some codes, but they don’t fully explain the cause of the issue. Does anyone have experience with this problem and can provide the correct configuration/settings?
