I am a PCB designer for a start up Medical Company. We are gearing up for our commercial launch, do to the current supply chain issues we are have trouble acquiring parts. we bought these parts from a company in Canada, they shipped from China. The text looks different than the ones we acquired 3-6 months ago. How can I verify they are good parts?

I've got custom hardware that needs a wireless stack upgrade to the latest stack, located here:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWB/blob/master/Projects/STM32WB_Copro_Wireless_Binaries/STM32WB5x/stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.binBut I do not know what the correct start address is to use. I have read https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00513965-st-firmware-upgrade-services-for-stm32wb-series-stmicroelectronics.pdf and I found the following: 2. Write the wireless stack image in the user Flash memory at the address equal to:– If new install (no wireless stack currently installed): 0x08000000+(SFSA x 4KB) - ImageSize – If a wireless stack is already installed: ◦ If new image size <= current image size: WirelessStackAddress - ImageSize ◦ If new image size > current image size: WirelessStackAddress - (2xImageSize – WirelessStackSize It is advised to perform a FUS_FW_DELETE operation before starting a wireless stack installation. (This is performed by STM32Cube

I used the:"STM32H743I-EVAL\Examples\FDCAN\FDCAN_Classic_Frame_Networking" example on my board.I can send and receive Standard ID message to and from my CAN BUS Analyser, but can only send Extended messages. Cannot receive them. I have attached the init code for both Standard and Extended.

I flashed my sensortile box but it stopped working after that. ( no lights blinking ).I did a reset on it using STM PRG. But still even when i plug it in still no lights are blinking. Battery is connected but there is no light.

I'am using 26M oscillator on stm32H750VB device, it's not working on rev V, but same configure is work fine on rev Y.

Hi, My objecive is to be able to communicate between two STM32FR302R8 thanks to I2C protocol. I've seen a code that should be used but I don't know which is the adress that I have to write: HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(I2C_HandleTypeDef *hi2c, uint16_t DevAddress, uint8_t *pData, uint16_t Size,uint32_t Timeout)Can someone help me ? ThanksHave a nice day

HiAccording to the datasheets, the STM32L4R9 LQFP100 devices should be able to support a multiplex hyperbus ram/flash device. (for example the cypress S71KSS12SCO)But in STM32CubeMX, I'm unable to select the multiplexed hyperbus mode. I notice that I can with other devices like the STM32H7Is this a problem with STM32CubeMX or am I not understanding the constraints and multiplexed hyperbus isn't supported on these devices after all?thanks

CubeMX lets you choose 4 voltages.Option/Value 0 should be 2.5V jnstead of the mentioned 2.048VOption/Value 1 should be 2.048 instead ogf the mentioned 2.5VProof: When you select 2.5V it generates 2.048 on the VREF output.

Hello,I tried to apply the step by step "Modify, rebuild and reload the Linux® kernel" form wiki.st .https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157x-DK2/Develop_on_Arm%C2%AE_Cortex%C2%AE-A7/Modify,_rebuild_and_reload_the_Linux%C2%AE_kernelEverything works fine from the first step of the "Getting started " until i uncoutered the error bellow.Unfortunately i am a complete beginner on these tools and don't understand whats happen.Thank you by advance for any help.@PC:~/STM32MPU_workspace/STM32MP15-Ecosystem-v2.0.0/Developer-Package/stm32mp1-openstlinux-5.4-dunfell-mp1-20-06-24/sources/arm-ostl-linux-gnueabi/linux-stm32mp-5.4.31-r0/linux-5.4.31$ make ARCH=arm multi_v7_defconfig "fragment*.config" HOSTCC scripts/basic/fixdep HOSTCC scripts/kconfig/conf.o HOSTCC scripts/kconfig/confdata.o HOSTCC scripts/kconfig/expr.o LEX    scripts/kconfig/lexer.lex.c/bin/sh: 1: flex: not foundscripts/Makefile.hos

dma don't work with adc. After first writing dma set flag TEIF. Value wasn't written to buffer. I ported example (adc dma transfer) from stm32h743 to 723, it have this error too.

Hi,I'm trying to configure manually OCTOSPI registers in order to implement Hyperbus protocol but when I try to write registers it has no effect...I'm using that command: OCTOSPI1->CR = OCTOSPI1->CR | (0x1 << 0);But the register keep it's value 0.

I am currently using a st25r3916 chip in my application (embedded) and downloaded the  ST25 Embedded NFC library (STSW-ST25R-LIB).All I want at this point is a proof of concept that the st25r3916 chip sends an interrupt to my application each time a rfid tag is detected. I don't need to read the tag id yet at this point. From the library, the closest example is demo_polling.c but is code-heavy.I would like to ask is the quickest and simplest way to get this working is:1) Call rfalNfcInitialize() and rfalWakeUpModeStart(NULL)? Is there anything else needed for initialization?2) Is interrupt already enabled after #1 (above) is performed?3) Does that mean that if I place a rfid-enable tag near the chip, I will receive an interrupt?4) After the interrupt, do I just call one of the rfal function (which one in particular?) to read the ID from the tag?Thank you all

I built a simple project that turns on a LED light. I would like to have the event trigger on the press of the button and not when I press and release the button. Is there a spot in the code where a simple change can make this happen?

When configuring SDMMC1 in STM32CubeIDE, I get a warning that it conflicts with LTDC (RGB888). SDMMC2 does also conflict. Can someone guide me, how to resolve this conflict?

I am using st25r3911b. I got the firmware package from ST website but the code is to heavy. It is sending data on USB or either UART but I don't want to use that. Can I get a simple code where I can get only interrupt and NFC TAG ID?

I am trying to boot from the QSPI on F7508-DK board.I followed the guide by ST mentioned at STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.16.1\Projects\STM32F7508-DISCO\Templates\ExtMem_BootBasically this needs to be flashed once, so the code can jump from 0x08000000 to 0x90000000.It is working alright for the examples provided by ST, but when I write my own code, the system clock fails to initialize. If I comment out the system clock config, even memcopy function is working well. But again, without the system clock, Other things aren't working.

I can find some difference from datasheet,The definition of B is "internal code".But there is no further explanation.

Am getting inconsistencies with every HAL_SPI_Transmit() of the same message in a for-loop. Viewed the result with a logic analyzer and the results are frustrating.Am just trying to send a Hello World! but on the Logic Analyzer, am getting dummy data. Am using the STM32F303k8. Here is my initialized code char* myTxData = "Hello World!";   int main(void) { HAL_Init();   SystemClock_Config();   MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_SPI1_Init();   // CSN PIN HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_4, GPIO_PIN_SET);   while (1) { HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_4, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1, (uint8_t*)myTxData, 12, HAL_MAX_DELAY); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_4, GPIO_PIN_SET);   HAL_Delay(100); } }   void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0};   RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSI; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSIState = RCC_HSI_ON; RCC_OscIni

Hi!I'm was writing C-code for the VL6180X because I find ST's own C-code library quite messy and I could not use it because I did not understand it. So I re-wrote a C++ library to STM32 C-code from https://github.com/pololu/vl6180x-arduinoHere is the code. (It's working now!)https://github.com/DanielMartensson/STM32-Libraries/tree/master/VL6180XAnyway! When I first tried to connect the I2C with the distance sensor.#define VL6180X_ADDRESS_DEFAULT 0x29 HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(&hi2c1, VL6180X_ADDRESS_DEFAULT, 10, 100);I get status = HAL_ERRORThat's weard because I can use the VL6180X sensor from ST's own .hex file and it works great. But when I trying to compile own C-code, then it won't work. It's nothing wrong at the Nucleo F401RE board nor the sensor. I have tried to connect a SSD1306 I2C LCD to the I2C as well, but then i get status = HAL_BUSYThis Nucleo Board came with the VL6180X Expension Board X-NUCLEO-6180XA1Can it be some issues with the firmare? stat

Hi,I am trying to implement a product that needs to swap between landscape and portrait mode of the same screen dynamically during run time. I am using TouchGFX designer 4.16.0 with the TouchGFXWatch UI template to do some basic tests. When I run the target in landscape mode it works as expected. If I change it to portrait mode, as shown below, and run it on the L4R9I_DISCOVERY I get unexpected results as shown below (which is the same result I get from my code base). From my understanding and from other forum posts- How do i configure Landscape orientation for STM32F429I-DISC1 (native portrait) ?- Issues with Portrait Orientation on STM32F746G-Discovery Kit- STM32F746G-Disco Bd, doesn't display correctly in portrait mode I should only need to rotate the images in TouchGFX Designer which the Display orientation radio buttons do.The change log for TouchGFX 4.7.0 mentions a "display_orientation_example" that I have not been able to find. Is there any documentation or example that co

I am using TGX v4.16.0. All of the work I describe with is with the TGX simulator in MSVS.I am building native C++ strings from C character arrays. I am then taking these strings and using them to update a single wildcard text area. Most of the text is displayed correctly but some of the characters are interpreted as the fallback character (?). I am using a standard English language font. The characters that trigger the fallback character are in the range of A - Z. I have verified that the C++ string is being built correctly and that the wildcard buffer is big enough to hold the string. Here is a part of the code and the result.Initialization of the text area:m_mfgInfo.setWildcard(m_mfgInfoBuf); m_mfgInfo.setTypedText(touchgfx::TypedText(T_MFG_INFO)); m_mfgInfo.setXY(150, 150); m_mfgInfo.resizeToCurrentText(); add(m_mfgInfo);Update of the text area: void MyView::SetData(MyData_t& data) {   Unicode::strncpy(m_mfgInfoBuf, data.mfgInfo->c_str(), static_cast<uint16_t>(d

Figure 6 shows the LPF2 is a function of the output data rate (ODR_G). I cannot seem to find in the documentation the bandwidth and phase delay introduced by LPF2 when HPF and LPF1 are bypassed.

In some other IDE for other micro controllers, you can have a window that shows the assembler code that is being executed as you single step through the C code in the debugger. I have used it to optimize my C code, because I can see what each line generates in assembler. There are many ways to code the same thing, and sometimes only one way is either the fastest or smallest number of instructions. Seeing the assembler as you step through is one of the easiest ways to hand optimize. I cannot seem to find that ability in the Cube IDE. Does it exist?
