Hello, did ST ever made a STE150N10 direct (Drop in) replacement?if so, what would be the partnumber? thanks

ADC3 is broken when using the LL interface.1) This is because it gets initialized with invalid resolution bits:CubeMX currently generates:   ADC_InitStruct.Resolution  = LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_12B;   ADC_InitStruct.LowPowerMode = LL_ADC_LP_MODE_NONE;   LL_ADC_Init(ADC3, &ADC_InitStruct);But this needs to be:  ADC_InitStruct.Resolution  = __LL_ADC12_RESOLUTION_TO_ADC3(LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_12B);This results in bogus values.2) Initialization delay is broken:   uint32_t wait_loop_index;   wait_loop_index = ((LL_ADC_DELAY_INTERNAL_REGUL_STAB_US * (SystemCoreClock / (100000 * 2))) / 10);   while (wait_loop_index != 0) {      wait_loop_index--;   }This is because the whole wait loop is doing exactly nothing and there is no reason for the compiler to not optimize it out. This can be easily fixed by declaring the loop index as "volatile

Hi ,After downloading the stm32f401 disco demo .hex file to the board, the accelerometer functionality is not working after pressing the user button as per the readme instructions. It means the LSM303dlhc chip is damaged.So to confirm that, will you take my demo.hex file & download(via st link utility) into your board to see the same effect? If the accelerometer functionality works there it means the chip in my board is damaged.After confirming this problem ,I will buy a new accelerometer module if possible.Satya

We have converted project which was compiled by Atollic True studio to STCUBE IDE. We got the message "Migration was successful but Manual settings may be required" Application_converter.log shows warning and other messages.Not sure that migration is successful . I have attached the log file. Please gives us the inputs on this observation

I've been doing a lot of research concerning Low power modes for the stm32 bluepill and I was wondering if i could power my board through VDD and execute a code through it and then right after going into sleep mode I would use a switch to only power the board through Vbat to save power , but the problem here is that the alarm wake up for the rtc won't be able to wake the board up from Vbat so my question is: is there a way to say store that rising edge from the rtc tamper pin and use it to switch back from Vbat to vdd?

I have a design which uses STM32G431C6T6 (LQFP48). In the MCSDK, it is possible to select only between STM32G431RB (LQFP64) or STM32G431CB (UFQFPN48).Is it somehow possible to configure/hack the MCSDK use some different MCU? This LQFP48 version of the STM32G431 is very close to the UFQFPN model anyway..

Hello,the documentation says that MBED TLS can be implemented without LwIP. If I enable LwIP usage in CubeMX, it only supports NetConn API and therefore requires also FREERTOS to be used...But I'd like to do it without FREERTOS using raw API for LwIP.I could probably add LwIP manually, but I need the way for CubeMX not to delete those files when regenerating project.Any solution, example, doc on this?Are there any other options for non-RTOS TCP protocol addition to MBED TLS ?Thanks in advance,regards,Bulek.

STM32L476VG is the MCU we are interfacing with ST25R3911B using SPI.what we have understood from some search is that we need RFAL (abstraction layer) to interface with RF HAL.Then once we integrate RFAL and RF HAL in our system workbench(ac6) project we need to build the integration then use SPI calls to read the register from RFID reader ST25R3911Bwe wanted to use ISO-14443A standard to be configured and read the values.where do we get the basic RFAL work space or code flow so that we shall use in our current project?Kindly guide us and let us know are we in right path?

I am using STM32L072xx module and I would like to use ADC4, ADC5 and ADC 17 (Vrefint) at the same time. But I want to use ADC4 with DMA of buffer size 500 or more. It is not necessary to store ADC5 & ADC17 in DMA.Can I use DMA only for ADC 4 and dump 500 samples and use the following API calls for ADC5 and ADC17?  HAL_ADC_Start( &hadc);  /* Wait for the end of conversion */  HAL_ADC_PollForConversion( &hadc, HAL_MAX_DELAY );  /* Get the converted value of regular channel */  adcData = HAL_ADC_GetValue ( &hadc);Is this the right way of configuring multiple ADC channels?

Hi,We are migrating our code from using M3_CryptoFW_RngHW_2_0_6 to using libSTM32Cryptographic_CM4.a. Our target is STM32F405VGTx. When compiling we get a linker error from the library itself (cmox init is part of the ST lib), not from a function our code directly uses. What are we missing here? any required configuration?.\Application\Application.axf: Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol cmox_ll_deInit (referred from cmox_init.c.o)..\Application\Application.axf: Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol cmox_ll_init (referred from cmox_init.c.o). Thanks!

Hi,I have ported RFAL library to ESP32 platform and have set up proper interrupts for it to function in capacitive wakeup mode.So the issue:We are using RFAL-HL ( higher layer ) in our project ( based on X-Cube-NFC5, but using the latest version of RFAL ) and while using it to detect NFC-A cards, tech detection is done successfully, upon moving to NFC-A collision resolution ( rfalNfcaPollerGetFullCollisionResolutionStatus ), the library always returns TIMEOUT_ERR ( 4 ) no matter how I place the tag against the antenna.The issue is described in this pic ( I've added debug commands to interpret it easily :( Any kind of help will be appreciated. Regards,Ayush

UART setting are shown in picture of both devices

I am trying to read the WHO_AM_I register in LSM6DSOX in that register value is (0Fh) and fixed value is (6Ch) but I am getting 0x00 I don't why can you help me regarding this

hi i am using STM32L071KZT6 chip in my board and using Cube ide for initialization and code development. in the datasheet it says KZT6 chip has 1 clock input and is configurable as HSE/LSE/HSI/MSI/LSI but in the Cubeide clock config page or System Core/RCC page, i cant select HSE external xtal option.

I have a problem transmitting a byte with SPI using DMA and asking for your help to solve this issue.Used uC: STM32F405RGT6Target: Display ST7789Project generated with STM32CubeIDEToolchain/IDE: Keil uVisionSPI 2 used/configured as "transmit only, master".When I'm transmitting in basic blocking mode then everything works fine (but slow):static void ST7789_WriteCommand(uint8_t cmd) { ST7789_DC_Clr(); HAL_SPI_Transmit(&ST7789_SPI_PORT, &cmd, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); while(HAL_SPI_GetState(&hspi2) != HAL_SPI_STATE_READY){} }But nothing works when I'm trying to transmit using DMA:static void ST7789_WriteCommand(uint8_t cmd) { ST7789_DC_Clr(); HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA(&ST7789_SPI_PORT, &cmd, 1); while(HAL_SPI_GetState(&hspi2) != HAL_SPI_STATE_READY){} }Silence on the bus, checked with scope.HAL_SPI_GetState always returns HAL_SPI_STATE_READY so program does not stuck into while loop waiting for SPI to finish transmitting.HAL_SPI_ErrorCallback shows 0x10 (HAL_SPI_ERROR_DM

Hello,There's a degradation in flash erase during BLE connection use-case between release 1.11.1 and 1.12.0.On 1.12.0 flash erase operation will cause the BLE client to disconnect (timeout).Same user code just the different FW version - 1.11.1 works, 1.12.0 does not. Its the same flow since the introduction SEM7 mechanism around 1.5.0 release.Tested on stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw (STM32WB55)I couldn't find a mention for behavior change in the release notes, nor in related examples (BLE_RfWithFlash) so I assume its an unintentional issue.Thanks in advance

Hi!I have a STM32F373 processor and I have 2 Encoders and 3 Input Captures.I have enabled DMA for input capture.Timer 4:Timer 19: And I have this code.My questions are:Can I use Encoder together with Input Capture if Input Capture has DMA?What will DMA store inside the arrays input_capture[2]? Is it the counter value? I'm assuming it will be some kind of a counted value, right?Will this work?static TIM_HandleTypeDef* tim4_handle; static TIM_HandleTypeDef* tim19_handle; volatile static uint32_t input_capture0[2] = {0}; volatile static uint32_t input_capture1[2] = {0}; volatile static uint32_t input_capture2[2] = {0}; static uint32_t pulse_count[4] = {0};   void STM32_PLC_Start_Counters(TIM_HandleTypeDef* htim4, TIM_HandleTypeDef* htim19) { /* Encoder - Prescaler does not effect encoder */ if(HAL_TIM_Encoder_Start(htim4, TIM_CHANNEL_ALL) != HAL_OK) Error_Handler(); if(HAL_TIM_Encoder_Start(htim19, TIM_CHANNEL_ALL) != HAL_OK) Error_Handler();   /* * Input capture

HelloI have encountered a strange problem. Actually I wanted to show a value in minutes human readable on the display (x days, y hours, z min). The value is then inserted on the display in a textarea with a wildcard. And it seems that this field has a problem with the letter d.Eg. (TTG is the textare with the wildcard)Unicode::snprintf(TTGValue, sizeof(TTGValue), "%d d",value/1440);With this only the value is displayed on the display eg. 6---Unicode::snprintf(TTGValue, sizeof(TTGValue), "%d days",value/1440);With this the displayed text is: 6 ays---In debug mode I can see, that the variable TTGValue is correct. I also tried to manipulate the string with Unicode::strncpy to add the d outside of the Unicode::snprintf function. Is this a bug in the Touchgfx library? I'm using the version 4.17.0Regards

I had several projects running, created with STM32CubeMX. Among them also the example H743ZI_LwIP_test1. Things were fine with firmware 1.3.0 and 1.3.2 but after upgrading to 1.4.0 , I can no longer connect to the network. No ping, no nothing. Currently I test with the NUCLEO-H743ZI board.I compared .ioc files and various code source, but couldn't find any Any help welcome,thanks in advancePeter

It is like DMA never starts.Any ideas?below is the code./* USER CODE END TIM6_Init 0 */ TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM6_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END TIM6_Init 1 */ htim6.Instance = TIM6; htim6.Init.Prescaler = 42-1; htim6.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim6.Init.Period = 10-1; htim6.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim6) != HAL_OK) {  Error_Handler(); } sMasterConfig.MasterOutputTrigger = TIM_TRGO_UPDATE; sMasterConfig.MasterSlaveMode = TIM_MASTERSLAVEMODE_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIMEx_MasterConfigSynchronization(&htim6, &sMasterConfig) != HAL_OK) {  Error_Handler(); } /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM6_Init 2 */ /* USER CODE END TIM6_Init 2 */}/** * Enable DMA controller clock */static void MX_DMA_Init(void){ /* DMA controller clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_DMA1_CLK_ENABLE();&n

I'm currently using the STM8L151F3 and implementing the SUMP open logic analyzer. In one part of my code involving with GPIO reading and send data to SPI1_DR. and to make a lots of the capture samples, I use the F-RAM as a external RAM for sampling memory. Since the F-RAM is really fast and practically almost no delay (SPI running at 8MHz). My question is can I use "mov" instruction to "copy" data from one peripheral address to another ? this part taken from my code at line 231. https://github.com/TiNredmc/stm8l_sdcc_template/blob/master/code/ComeNCapture/main.c#L231// Notice : SDCC compiler do{ __asm___("mov 0x5204, 0x5006");// PB_IDR -> SPI1_DR while(capture){

Hi!I'm trying to read Sigma Delta ADC for 16-bit. It works, but it seems that everything is reverse.For single Sigma Delta ADC I get 32767 (0x7FFF) when I apply 0 volt.For differential Sigma Delta ADC I get 65553 (0xFFFF) when the difference is 0 volt on both inputs.When I increase the voltage, then the ADC values....deceases. Not increases. Why?I want at 0 Volt, the single sigma delta should show 0 ADC and at REF volt, I want the single sigma delta so show 65553 ADC. If someone want to try out Sigma Delta ADC, here is the code.static uint32_t Channel = 0; static uint16_t SDADC_Single[12]; static uint16_t SDADC_Differential[5]; static float SDADC_Single_Calibration_Gain[12] = {0}; static float SDADC_Single_Calibration_Bias[12] = {0}; static float SDADC_Differential_Calibration_Gain[5] = {0}; static float SDADC_Differential_Calibration_Bias[5] = {0};   void STM32_PLC_Start_Analog_Input(TIM_HandleTypeDef* htim12, TIM_HandleTypeDef* htim13, TIM_HandleTypeDef* htim16, SDADC_HandleType

Hi all, I'm using a NUCLEO-G071RB board and I simply want to generate a variable frequency square wave. I started from project TIM_OCToggle found on the examples.My problem is that TIM1 channel 1 has a fixed frequency and even if I change it through the sConfigOC struct with HAL functions, and I see changes in htim1->Instance registers after my function SetOutputFrequency(), nothing seems to happen on the ouput PA8, I see only some periods ON or OFF with the oscilloscope. Where are my errors? Is there a simple way to do what I need without using HAL libraries (portability and readability doesn't walk together...) ? Thanks in advance, Emanuele.

Specifically the STM32MP157D Discovery KitTo avoid labour-intensive file copies I'd like to simply mount something on my server where I'm going to cross-compile things which will allow me to test a particular bit of functionality. I do not want to do any major re-builds just yet.But I see the DK1 as supplied seems not to have NFS support in the form of a mount.nfs utility though NFS is mentioned in /proc/filesystems. Or if it is there I have failed to understand it.I thought I'd be able to do something like apt-get install nfs-client or nfs-common but there's no such package.I see there's already a package called packagegroup-base-nfs installed which contains no files according to dpkg. kernel ouput also says "NFS: Registering the id_resolver key type" implying some part of NFS is present at least.This is the kind of thing I've tried and the error.root@stm32mp1:/etc# mount -t nfs -o ro,nolock 192.168.x.x:/home/jon/STM32MPU_workspace /mnt/STM32MPU_workspacemount: /mnt/STM32MPU_work
