Is there any function or library associated with STM32 Device to convert the UTC time to Local Time and Vice versa ?

I wanted to use RTC in both my cores M7 and M4. Is RTC a shared peripheral ? Can we use RTC to set or get time from any core asynchronously ? Please share any configuration need to be done for doing so ?

I'm configuring I2C4 as a slave receiver, using interrupt method. I noticed that when the I2C master (another MCU) sends the slave address, I2C4 detects an address match and sets the ADDR flag in the I2C4->ISR register. What baffles me is that at this point I2C4 holds the SCK line low and communication will not proceed. The only way I can avoid this 'stuck' situation is to enable the ADDRIE interrupt which will fire on an address match and I manually clear the ADDR flag.I'm familiar with I2C protocol, but this is my first experience with STM32 I2C peripheral, and I thought it's strange that an address match event must be explicitly acknowledged (by clearing a flag) by software. Is this the normal behavior of I2C slave in STM32H7? I'm using the STM32H723ZG Nucleo board.Below is my initialization code (for brevity I omitted the clock and pin configuration from the listing, they checked out all right). // Disable I2C4. I2C4->CR1 &= ~I2C_CR1_PE; while(I2C4->CR1 & I2C_CR

Hi,I configure the ADC as the following code; but sometimes(not everytime) the code will run to Line 70 : "Beer_Out_Dis(1);" ,and ADC will not work.Did I do something wrong? Thanks verymuch./* ADC1 init function */ static void MX_ADC1_Init(void) {   ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig;   /**Configure the global features of the ADC (Clock, Resolution, Data Alignment and number of conversion) */ hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV4; hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc1.Init.ScanConvMode = ENABLE; hadc1.Init.ContinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.DiscontinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConvEdge = ADC_EXTERNALTRIGCONVEDGE_NONE; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConv = ADC_SOFTWARE_START; hadc1.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc1.Init.NbrOfConversion = 7; hadc1.Init.DMAContinuousRequests = ENABLE; hadc1.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SINGLE_CONV; HAL_ADC_Init(&hadc1);   /**Configure for the selec

This is just a test. Has anybody else been unable to submit questions? I keep getting a red error message.

--The first error encounters while trying to connect the board (STM32H7A3ZI-Q) with STM32Cube Programmer at normal mode.--The second error encounters while trying to upload a code through STM32Cube IDE. However, when I try to connect the board with STM32Cube Programmer at power down mode, it successfully connect .Hence, being a naïve in this area, I hope everyone helps me out to find the solutions. Thank you.

RTC was set in Cube MX. (0y/0M/0d 0h:0m:0s)A backup register is used to store the date and time.For example, if you press the reset button at 0/0/0 0:1:1, RTC is activated from 1m 1s.But when I turn off the power and turn on the power again, it goes back to 0/0/0 0:0:0.And the backup register value is cleared.I checked that HAL_RTCEx_BKUPWrite() is executed again.I think it should work from the time the power is turned off.Does RTC backup return to Cube MX settings when power is turned off?Is the backup register value also deleted?static void MX_RTC_Init(void){  /* USER CODE BEGIN RTC_Init 0 */  __HAL_RCC_RTC_ENABLE();  __HAL_RCC_RTCAPB_CLK_ENABLE();  /* USER CODE END RTC_Init 0 */  RTC_TimeTypeDef sTime = {0};  RTC_DateTypeDef sDate = {0};  /* USER CODE BEGIN RTC_Init 1 */  /*&n

I have an STM32MP157D-DK1 board, and I'm trying to build a custom Linux image for it with the Yocto Project. I followed the guide here (https://forum.digikey.com/t/yocto-getting-started-with-the-stm32mp157/14074) to create a core-image-minimal.I’m trying to use the basic boot chain to avoid TF-A (for now). So, I formatted an SD card with the following (using fdisk):Disk /dev/mmcblk2: 7.29 GiB, 7822376960 bytes, 15278080 sectors Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes Disklabel type: gpt Disk identifier: A1B93A60-F8E0-CB47-88F9-E559CD43B510   Device Start End Sectors Size Type /dev/mmcblk2p1 2048 2559 512 256K Microsoft basic data /dev/mmcblk2p2 4096 4607 512 256K Microsoft basic data /dev/mmcblk2p3 6144 10239 4096 2M Microsoft basic data /dev/mmcblk2p4 10240 141311 131072 64M Linux filesystem /dev/mmcblk2p5 141312 15278046 15136735 7.2G Linux filesystemI also set the legacy

I am exploring Sensor tile Box in pro mode. STM32L4R9ZIJ6 is the controller in it. I tried to display a string using UART pins in the JTAG pin section. While debugging the code was working without any halt. But I didn't got any display in serial console.I am using STM32cubeIDE for programming the board and Tera Term to display the serial communication. Baud Rate I used is 115200.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------#include "main.h"UART_HandleTypeDef huart1;static void MX_GPIO_Init(void);void SystemClock_Config(void);static void MX_USART1_UART_Init(void);int main(void){ HAL_Init();MX_GPIO_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); while (1) { HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, (uint8_t *) "Hello", 10, 1000); HAL_Delay(1000); }}void SystemClock_Config(void){ RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInit = {0};

Hi guys,I am using an STM32L552ZET6 and I would like to extend the RAM using an external SRAM chip (23A1024-E/TS), that has an QuadSPI interface. I would like to know if I can use STM32L5 OCTOSPI interface in memory mapped mode with the above mentioned SRAM chip?Thank you for your answer.Cheles Dan

Hi,I couldn't find the pcb.doc of the 32F769IDISCOVERY board. Would you please send the PCB files ?Thanks

Hi all,I'm trying to implement manually the ST EEPROM emulation package.But I got stuck at a undefined reference: I included in the right build paths and in the IDE I can perfectly jump to the EE_Init() function.So the IDE does know where to look, but my compiler doesn'tWhat can be the problem here?

Is IIS3DWB data already vibration information, or is there some algorithm needed to convert to vibration data? https://www.st.com/en/mems-and-sensors/iis3dwb.html

Hi!I would like to store files on an SD card that are transmitted via HTTP POST (lwIP HTTP server). The files are correctly transmitted (hash calculating on both sides, the hashes are equal) and then written out to the card. But the content of the file is wrong: there is an additional byte before my content (and the last byte is missing, e.g. the file size is correct). I've checked the data in the HAL_SD_WriteBlocks_DMA method before write, and everything is correct. The cache maintenance (ENABLE_SD_DMA_CACHE_MAINTENANCE) macro is also defined. (And 1-byte offset bug cannot be by cache miss). Another interesting thing it seems to be somehow timing related. What can I check?Regards,

Can i replace the stm32f427vit6 with the f429vit6, f437vit6 or 439vit6 without changing code, and are they completely pin compatible?

I'm coming across a strange issue, and the documentation for the API isn't really helping much. I've got a small application to load some firmware using the CubeProgrammer_API, and it works perfectly if I point setLoadersPath() to "C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeProgrammer\bin". However, I'd like to include the FlashLoader files with my project so that STM32CubeProgrammer isn't required to be installed with my software. I copied over the FlashLoader folder and pointed the function to the directory the FlashLoader folder is in, but now when I call connectUsartBootloader(), it fails and returns -5: CUBEPROGRAMMER_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED. Any ideas? What exactly am I missing?

Here is the code in question:HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(ADC_HandleTypeDef *hadc, uint32_t *pData, uint32_t Length) { HAL_StatusTypeDef tmp_hal_status; #if defined(ADC_MULTIMODE_SUPPORT) uint32_t tmp_multimode_config = LL_ADC_GetMultimode(__LL_ADC_COMMON_INSTANCE(hadc->Instance)); #endif   /* Check the parameters */ assert_param(IS_ADC_ALL_INSTANCE(hadc->Instance));   /* Perform ADC enable and conversion start if no conversion is on going */ if (LL_ADC_REG_IsConversionOngoing(hadc->Instance) == 0UL) { /* Process locked */ __HAL_LOCK(hadc);   #if defined(ADC_MULTIMODE_SUPPORT) /* Ensure that multimode regular conversions are not enabled. */ /* Otherwise, dedicated API HAL_ADCEx_MultiModeStart_DMA() must be used. */ if ((tmp_multimode_config == LL_ADC_MULTI_INDEPENDENT) || (tmp_multimode_config == LL_ADC_MULTI_DUAL_INJ_SIMULT) || (tmp_multimode_config == LL_ADC_MULTI_DUAL_INJ_ALTERN) ) #endifSince ADC5 shares its multimode configuration regi

I've found a bug in the ENABLE_SCRATCH_BUFFER implementation for sd_disk_io when using fatfs.When this option is enabled, the code initially checks to see if the buffer is 4 byte aligned, and if it isn't aligned (quite often the case with fatfs) then the code is supposed to copy the buffer to align it to a 4 byte boundary.The scratch buffer does not appear to be initially set up anywhere, and the indentation for DMAing the scratch buffer is also incorrect.The complete SD_write function is a mess and needs to be reworked. At least 2 bugs that I can see.1) Indentation for using the scratch buffer is wrong, it's current executed when BSP_SD_WriteBlocks_DMA does not return MSD_OK2) Initial scratch buffer is not setup when buffer is not alignedCan anyone confirm this?CheersGlen.

I want to readout the STSS22H, without any polling or I2C clock stretching. I want to use the following sequence:Send soft reset commandSend one shot command Release I2C bus for other processes to useWait for the maximum conversion time of the one-shot modeGet the resultRelease I2C bus for other processes to useWait for a couple secondsRepeat from step 1Is this possible with the STSS22H, where can I find the maximum conversion time in one **** mode? This information is missing in the datasheet.

I am trying to test the ST25RU3993_Eval code and .ioc project with the ST25RU3993 Rain Board. I have uploaded the ST25RU3993_eval.bin through the firmware update option under help on the ST25RU3993 Reader Suite, but the board does not recognize it, and gives the error it isn't compatible. Why is this firmware failing, as it was my understanding this was a compatible firmware for the Rain Board? The project builds correctly within the STMCubeIDE, but the bin file produced will not work as firmware through the suite. Is there a way to get a hold of the .ioc files for the only firmware that works for the READER? The only firmware I get to work on the RAIN Reader Suite is ST25RU3993_FW_v3-0-0-0_Eval.bin.Thanks
