Hello after importing NFC project example (X-NUCLEO-NFC05A1) to chip "STM32L051C8T6" I get an error: "undefined reference to `globalCommProtectCnt'"I made import of the NFC project many times but never get this error. Only difference from other is that now I have the same interrupt function for EXTI0 and EXTI1. So, instead of "void EXTI0_IRQHandler(void){"I have now "void EXTI0_1_IRQHandler(void)".During importing the project I did:add rfal and ST25R3911 library, add path to this library, add USE_LOGGER to symbol, add demo, logger, platform, spi and usart files to Src and Inc folder, add "st25r3911Isr();" into the folder stm32l0xx_it.c,in platform file change "EXTI0_IRQHandler" to "EXTI0_1_IRQHandler" .Thank you for your time and help,Domen

I'm developing a project using the STM32H745 HSEM and found a couple problems with the svd file that make debugging more difficult. My contact with IAR suggested I share my finding with ST to see if a working version can be supplied. 1) The svd file for the M4 core, STM32H7x5_M4.svd has the wrong addresses for the M4 core for its HSEM_ICR, HSEM_IER, HSEM_ISR, and HSEM_MISR register (the M4 core svd file has the addresses for the M7 core for these 4 registers) as they are identical in the M4 and M7 svd file and they should not be identical. Accessing those four registers from the debugger for the M4 is accessing the registers that belong to the M7 core.2) The svd file for the M4 core and for the M7 core have definitions to read all 32 of the HSEM_RLRx registers. The act of the debugger reading those registers through the compiler registers view window results in all of the semaphores that were unused to be locked to which ever core debugger read them first. Given that the debugger cause

The FRAM chip I'm using is cypress. For details, here's a screenshot of my chat with Cypress.Thank you very much.

I am currently experimenting with programming flash memory. I want to figure out how many sectors to erase before writing data into memory. I came across the following snippet uint32_t Flash_Write_Data (uint32_t StartSectorAddress, uint32_t *Data, uint16_t numberofwords) {   static FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef EraseInitStruct; uint32_t SECTORError; int sofar=0;     /* Unlock the Flash to enable the flash control register access *************/ HAL_FLASH_Unlock();   /* Erase the user Flash area */   /* Get the number of sector to erase from 1st sector */   uint32_t StartSector = GetSector(StartSectorAddress); uint32_t EndSectorAddress = StartSectorAddress + numberofwords*4; uint32_t EndSector = GetSector(EndSectorAddress);   /* Fill EraseInit structure*/ EraseInitStruct.TypeErase = FLASH_TYPEERASE_SECTORS; EraseInitStruct.VoltageRange = FLASH_VOLTAGE_RANGE_3; EraseInitStruct.Sector = StartSector; EraseInitStruct.NbSectors = (EndSect

I was going through embedded flash programming documentation of STM32F7 . I came across a term called "data read width". can some one explain this term ?Flash memory single bank organization (256 bits read width)Flash memory dual bank organization (128 bits read width)

ip4_addr_t remote_ip; struct netconn *clientConn; IP4_ADDR(&remote_ip, 192, 168, 0, 11); clientConn = netconn_new(NETCONN_TCP); if(clientConn != NULL) { conn_err = netconn_connect(clientConn, &remote_ip, 8789); if(conn_err == ERR_OK) { netconn_write(clientConn, message, 22, NETCONN_NOFLAG);  } } netconn_close(clientConn); netconn_delete(clientConn); osDelay(10);Ping works, TCP/IP Server also works, but the Client returns ERR_ABRT from the netconnect function.Since the netconn API Server code worked without any problems, I think there will be no problems with hardware and settings. So I'm looking for an example to refer to.I found examples of non-netconn APIs and examples of netconn API Server, but I don't think there are examples of netconn API Clients. (I've seen a few, but they look the same as the code above.)

I have a bug in the I2C bus where sometimes a glitch causes the BUSY flag to be setI found that the only ways to clear it is either by SWRST in I2C->CR1 or by resetting in RCC->ABP1RSTR->I2CxRSTRMy question is, is there any difference I should know about between these 2 types of resets or they're exactly the same?Thank you

Hi,Can SPC5-UDESTK JTAG debugger support  SPC584Bxx family ?The databrief specifically mentions SPC56 and SPC57 product family, but not SPC58x. Best regards,Sreejith

I am using 12V motor, all the phase I measured 12V, its look like it stuck at brake.what can be the problem?I am using motor 1028m012b - FAULHABER

I recently purchased some secondhand ST M27C128B-12F1 online and am trying to program them correctly. The main information I am looking for is the Device ID, Vcc for writing and verifying (both), and Vpp. I was able to find a datasheet for the M27C128A but am not confident these parameters are the same.Thank you!

How many sectors does the flash memory of stm32f446rc has and what is the size of each sectors ?

I haven't been able to find a recommended footprint (PCB pad layout) for the VL53L5CX, either in the datasheet or anywhere else. When will that be available? Or did I miss it somewhere?

I am using stm32L412CBU microcontroller and I am using both ADC units. The code generation generates this line of code:PeriphClkInit.AdcClockSelection = ADCCLockSelection; which is incorrect according to the structure RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef for this controller, you will find that this member is disabled for this particular controller.

I have designed a board with four seemingly identical motor drivers. The four L6472 are connected to an STM32-MCU via one SPI-interface, chipselect is handled by GPIO. They share a common reset signal, also GPIO. Because of the pull-downs on /STBY_RES the L6472 will only leave reset when the MCU pulls the GPIO up. I have verified with different boards (different production runs/board revisions) and motors that U702/U703 "Wash-Selctor Valve Driver / Dilutor Valve Driver" consistently power up or leave reset with output bridges active, resulting in high current fed into the respective motors. On the other hand, U602/U603 "XY-S-Motor-L/R" always power up as expected - with bridges in HighZ.I can't explain this behavior from the datasheet. Would you have any recommendations? Thanks.

Hi, I am attaching a simple .ioc configuration file with which I generated a new project using stm32 cubeide which when compiled generates a footprint of about 12kB.Frankly, it seems excessive to me, to the point of making this platform unusable for projects with limited memory resources. This problem has escalated in the latest versions of stm32 Cubeide. Is there a way to have greater control over the resources used?

I'm using an STM32F767ZI, and am programming it in C without any additional libraries (bare metal).I believe there is a memory leak somewhere as a memory allocation that typically would work seems to fail after the program has been running for some time.I'm familiar with tools such as dmalloc and valgrind, however an embedded environment is (obviously) very different and adds complications. Are there any reliable tools, similar to the two named above, which could help me to track down memory leaks? Since the system is intended to run indefinitely, it would be preferable if the tool offered functions which can be called from within GDB in order to analyse the currently allocated memory. If not, what is the best way to go about making something like this myself which can give useful info about where exactly the memory was allocated? From searching around, I've come across a variety of (unhelpful for my use-case) answers, including suggesting that dynamically allocated memory should be entir

I am porting some code from the STM32L432 to the STML496. The STM32L432 had a macro that would allow you to stop the USB clock on APB1 (_HAL_RCC_USB_CLK_DISABLE), but the bit in the RPB1ENR1 register used to do this (RCC_APB1ENR1_USBFSEN) doesn't seem to have an equivalent on the STM32496. Is there an easy way for me to functionally recreate stopping the clock?

Hello, I accidentally connected Vcc to the interrupt pin in an X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1, now I don't get any interrupts. Is it terminally burnt or can I configure an IRQ from somewhere else on the board?

Hi,I've come across what seems to be a Designer bug which I don't know how to solve or how to avoid it in the future.I added an animated image to my project that consists of a few images. Afterwards I deleted the animated image and proceeded to remove the images the Designer's images screen. Then, to my surprise, when I tried to compile through the CubeIDE I received the following error message:make: *** No rule to make target 'C:/TouchGFXProjects/FirstApplication/TouchGFX/generated/images/src/image_FullPallete.cpp', needed by 'Application/User/generated/image_FullPallete.o'. Stop.make: *** No rule to make target 'C:/TouchGFXProjects/FirstApplication/TouchGFX/generated/images/src/image_FullPallete.cpp', needed by 'Application/User/generated/image_FullPallete.o'. Stop.If I re-add the images, it works fine. If I try to delete them again, the same thing happens. I don't want these images and I don't know how to get rid of them. Thanks in advance!

HII am a beginner on using touchGFX. I did some tests with an evaluation board and everything works, I was able to do some tests. Now I ask you how should I do to create a new project with a hardware built by me? I haven't found a tutorial explaining how to set up IDE and GFX from the start.
