Hola, i have been succesfully using DMA+ADC in stm32f072/f103/f105.ADC in Scan+Continuous mode. (15 channels enabled)But now im trying to use stm32f207 (NUCLEO-f207zg) , the DMA works one time(first channel) and dies. DMA interrupt IRQ is only triggered 2 times (mid transfer and transfer completed of the first adc channel) What am i missing , what is different in stm32f207?

We built a system based on application notes and evaluation board schematics and design. It consists of the MCU (stm32f407), RFID reader ST25RU3993, and some RF-related stuff. ST25RU3993 is clocked by an external 20MHz crystal oscillator.Datasheet for ST25RU3993 says that you can select frequency by selecting reference frequency (25, 50, 100, or 125 kHz) and multipliers *33 and *32 - register A and register B respectively.So, the final formula for the Frequency is F = Fref * (REG_A*33 + REG_B*32).Also, they packed in 3 registers, namely PLL MAIN REGISTER 1, 2, 3 (addresses are 17h, 18h, 19h).We observe the strange behavior of our system, mentioned in the main question of this message. I used a "signal hunter" device, which is actually an air spectrum analyzer, in order to evaluate, which is actual frequency emitted by the system. And it differs from the requested one. Namely, we requested 865.7 MHz, but the frequency analyzer detects a signal on 865.8 Mhz (see picture: center is on the

Hi @Martin KJELDSEN I just updated to 4.14.0. Now I get the linker as I got them in this thread (the problem was the short enums/wchar settings) https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AlgbG2SQI/arm6-compiler-supportI can see that the armclang lib that comes with 4.14.0 is smaller than the version you provided in the thread.Any thoughts?Cheers /jimmii

Hello,I've made several bootloader in the past without so much problem in the past with F2, F4, F7, but this time, I have some serious troubles with a STM32H743BI :)The bootloader (using the first sector, 128kb) reads a bin file from the SD card and program the rest of the flash sectors.Everything works well if : I have flashed the main application one time minimum, thanks to my j-link debugger. Entering the bootloader erase the main app sector, then flash the .bin code, then jump. No issue at all.But if the main application has never been flashed with "manually" with j-link, the jump fail (no error/hardfault, the uC is just lost after jump). Also, when everything works (first case), if I flash "manually" the main application starting on the first sector (VECT_TAB_OFFSET = 0, instead of VECT_TAB_OFFSET = 0x020000) : after a bootloader erase/flashing, same issue = jump fails.It looks like flashing "manually" does configure some hidden registers, and after that the bootloader is able to

Is there a model to replace VND830LSP ?

After studying the datasheet of M24LR, I am not sure if I implement two 3v button batteries, the M24LR could send back some massage (like UID) to the reader with a stronger signal than other passive tags. Here are my questions: 1: Will the signal strength be better after I use an external power source to VCC?2: Can I achieve a protocol that the M24LR sends back the massage instantly after receiving a reading signal from the reader?

I need to use FDCAN to send CAN messages. Since I want to receive each message (without filters) I do this :sFilterConfig.IdType = FDCAN_STANDARD_ID; sFilterConfig.FilterIndex = 0; sFilterConfig.FilterType = FDCAN_FILTER_DUAL; sFilterConfig.FilterConfig = FDCAN_FILTER_DISABLE; sFilterConfig.FilterID1 = 0; sFilterConfig.FilterID2 = 0;   if (HAL_FDCAN_ConfigFilter(&hfdcan1, &sFilterConfig) != HAL_OK) {   return CO_ERROR_HAL; } else { // nothing to do }   if (HAL_FDCAN_ConfigGlobalFilter(&hfdcan1, FDCAN_ACCEPT_IN_RX_FIFO0, FDCAN_ACCEPT_IN_RX_FIFO0, FDCAN_FILTER_REMOTE, FDCAN_FILTER_REMOTE) != HAL_OK) {   return CO_ERROR_HAL; } else { // nothing to do }Next, I want to activate callback for every new messages, so I do this: HAL_FDCAN_ActivateNotification(&hfdcan1, FDCAN_IT_RX_FIFO0_NEW_MESSAGE |FDCAN_IT_RX_FIFO1_NEW_MESSAGE, 0)But when there is a new message neither HAL_FDCAN_RxFifo0Callback nor HAL_FDCAN_RxFifo1Callback is called.So my answer is: how c

I have my I2C bus connected to an STM6524, and I see that my rising edges are slowed down a bit more than expected. What is the input capacitance of these inputs? Thank you!

I have a swipe container with multiple pages. On each page there are a few buttons (children of their respective pages). Swiping in empty areas within the container swipes the container left and right, as intended. However, if I swipe left and right on top of the buttons, the button is pressed in and no container swiping occurs.I understand that click events are passed to the topmost visible element. However, is there a way to detect if a drag has occurred/is occurring and if so, pass that event to the swipe container instead of the button?Thanks!N.B.:The same issue occurs with scrolling containers.This issue occurs with any ClickListener, not just buttons.The desired behavior is modeled after most smartphone menus where a drag after a press will cancel the button click and scroll the window instead.

I am trying to use DMA to capture data in the background (from ADC) while I use PWM to control 2 motors. When I use DMA to capture the ADC values from my sensors it works fine. When I only use my PWM timers (without DMA in the background) the PWM works as expected. The problem is when I run both at the same time it breaks my PWM. Sometimes only 1 channel will turn on, other times no channels will turn on. When I debug the program and step through the code the program halts sometime after DMA is turned on. All the initialization has been set up through CubeIDE software.DMA Configuration:DMA Request: ADC1Stream: DMA2 Stream 0Direction: Peripheral to memoryMode: CircularData Width: Half WordADC Configuration:Channels: CH4, CH5, CH6, CH7, CH8Scan Conversion Mode: EnabledContinuous Conversions: EnabledDMA Continuous Requests: EnabledNumber of Conversions: 5#include "main.h"   /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */

I once read that when waking up a microcontroller from any low power mode, it will start as we have pressed the reset button, but, the reference manual says this: "After waking up from Standby mode, program execution restarts in the same way as after aReset (boot pins sampling, vector reset is fetched, etc.)."There is no other reference of the low power mode that says that when it wakes up, it will start as a reset. If no, at which point does the microcontroller start when it wakes up from the low power mode "sleep mode" and then wakes up? Thanks for your answer.

I try to start RTC in my STM32F429 (I do not use HAL libraries and I want not to use it). I use registers directly or with use of libopencm3. I want to run RTC and Wakeup timer with LSI source now and the RTC_TR is always 0 and RTC_DR 00002101h (and doesn't increment. What I do wrongly? Can you please help me? I try THIRD day run RTC without success :-(. Here is initialization code:static void enableRTC(void) { rcc_periph_clock_enable(RCC_GPIOC); rcc_periph_clock_enable(RCC_GPIOA);   // unlock RTC_WPR=0xCA; RTC_WPR=0x53; PWR_CR|=PWR_CR_DBP;   // reset RTC settings RCC_BDCR|=RCC_BDCR_BDRST; RCC_BDCR&=~RCC_BDCR_BDRST;   // enable RTC without LSE uint32_t tmp=RCC_BDCR; tmp|=RCC_BDCR_RTCEN; tmp&=~RCC_BDCR_LSEON; tmp&=~RCC_BDCR_LSEBYP;   // enable RTC from LSI tmp&=~(RCC_BDCR_RTCSEL_MASK<<RCC_BDCR_RTCSEL_SHIFT); tmp|=RCC_BDCR_RTCSEL_LSI<<RCC_BDCR_RTCSEL_SHIFT; RCC_BDCR=tmp; debug=RCC_BDCR; // for display purpose 8200h in reg

Hello Dear Friends,I am looking for using multiple ADC channels on STM32f429IGT6, but the problem is the code I have generated so far only converts its first input and the rest of the channels are not converted. I hope experts here can help me. Here is the project.Your help is really really appreciated.

I have 7 binary variable that I want to continously send to uart with the DMA.I do not want to use ascii format, I want to send binary data.If I use multiple DMA transmits in a row, just some are beeing send due to the fact, that when the second is triggered the first is still beeing transmited.How can I create a 20byte long variable in which I can store the data and send it with one command?It is easily possible to send a 20byte sentence so it should be possible to create a 20byte variable.Or am I overthinking it? can I construct an array and send the array at once.I want to use DMA because the amount of data is getting bigger in the future.

Let's say you're loading the SAI 32-bit ADR or BDR data registers. Using 24-bit data size, I2S protocol. More concretely, what values do you load for 0 amplitude, max positive, and max negative?Do you center it? Eg map 0 amplitude to 2^32 / 2, max positive to 2^32 / 2 + 2^24 / 2, and max negative to 2^32/2 - 2^24 / 2? Do you map 0 amplitude to 2^24 / 2, max positive to 2/24, and max negative to 0?

The site https://www.stm32-c2c.com/ as far as I can tell is no longer supported.

@Enrico Poli I downloaded all the software you sent me Motor Control SDK,Motor Control SDK,Motor Control SDK.Then I opened in motor control workbench the six step sensorles exaple for st spin3204, and generated the code but then I do not know how to run it properly?

We are using battery Litium ion one-cell.Voltage of cell is between 3.3V to 4.5V.We want to calculate battery voltage.Is it possible to put 4.5V to pin of MCU (STM32L452) ?

We need some receive only UART/USART on STM32H7/STM32F7.In MX I can select Half Duplex, but that seems to only disable Rx pin.Even when I select [Data direction = Rx Only] still shows only Tx pin.Even when I select [TX and Rx pins swapping = enable] still shows only Tx pin.Is this only a bug in MX?Is there a limitation in STM32H7/STM32F7?How can I free the Uart Tx pins for other assignments?Paul

Hi everyone, hope all of you are doing well.Posting here again about the ADC. I finally got the ADC out of that over run situation and now ready to acquire data!The way the ADC is setup is by having 4 channels using Pins setup as continuous scanningPC2 = Channel 0 for ADC 3 Rank 0PC3 = Channel 1 for ADC 3 Rank 1PF9 = Channel 2 for ADC 3 Rank 2PF7 = Channel 3 for ADC 3 Rank 3and internal temperature sensor = Channel 12 for ADC 3I am essentially polling for the DMA1 Stream 4 Transfer Complete 4 flag, once this is done I know that the ADC has done all 5 sequential reads, however when I get into the array or even the data there's either nonsense data or zeros. The channels that read zero I have tried hooking up those pins to VDD and it still reads zero. I notice in the ADC3->DR there's a lot of activity going.What I have tried thus far is, changing DMA to one shot mode, behavior is the same. I am not sure what's going as it seems to look like the DMA is not transferring from ADC3->DR

Can someone tell me when I useuint16_t temp; temp = __HAL_TIM_GET_COUNTER(&htim2);the above why temp doesn't equal the TIM2 CNT register in the debugger? I've also triedtemp = htim2.Instance->CNT;

I am sending some data on UART, When I enable Transmitter TE bit in USART_CR1 register, a pulse is observed on Tx line ( as shown in figure). That's fine but I am observing some 190nsec pulses on Rx lines though I am not sending anything to it! I have simply connected Tx/Rx lines to logic analyzer.What is possibly causing these pulses?

Hi Almighty Internet & STSo huge learning curve using MCU STM32G030J6 with ADCLearned the hard way you cannot use pin 4 for ADC as this is shared by NRST and there is no way to turn off MCU resetting because the bit registers which exist in STM32G031J6, don't exist in STM32G030J6Don't get me wrong, you can get ADC to work but the moment you push the voltage down below the threshold for NRST the MCU will hang or reset. Because NRST has to be held high to prevent the MCU from rebooting, the ADC reads what the MCU's output voltage is for that pin! kind of makes ADC pointless?!?!Anyway, I digress a little, it seems there is also residual voltage on pin 7. With the pin having nothing but a 10k ohm resistor shorting the pin to ground, there is obviously a voltage coming from the MCUThe pins I can utilize the full range of the ADC is pin 5 and 6 as there is no residual voltage coming from the MCU.ST, can you provide light on this issue? Can the full range of the ADC only be used on pin 5
