I could not find it anywhere, nor in the datasheet and I need it for an ATEX project.

Hello,I have a nucleo-nfc06a1 board that I would like to use for wireless charging and communications to a st25dvi2c tag. On the tag side, I have a rectifier bridge that supplies a battery charger. The resonant frequency of the tag antenna has been set to 15MHz and has an inductance of 1uH, as was suggested by STMicro. On the reader side, I am able to swap the impedance matching network components for ones that will provide maximum power. I can use a VNA to ensure that the system impedance is resonant at 13.56 MHz for a given impedance. I can snap off and solder on another coil with higher Q and higher inductance if needed. The registers on the ST25r3916 have been set according to the st25r3916 disco board register readout for NFC-V configuration. In the past I have tried the following:-Setting the internal regulator to 5V (as opposed to the auto-regulator setting)-Replacing the coil with a 200 Q, 3uH antenna (5cm in diameter)-Setting the impedance matching network to be resonant at val

Hello.I'm going to purchase a round AMOLED display to be used with a STM32F469 Discovery board. This is my current candidate: PV13904PY24G. This display has a resolution of 454x454 pixels. TouchGFX says STM32F4 is usable for displays up to 450x450 pixels. Is this display too big? It's driven by RM69330, and I have the datasheet of this IC.Before buying, I'll ask if they manufacturer has any kind of code example for any platform, so that I have some reference.Do you see any problem in what I plan to do?What will I need to propertly use this display with TouchGFX on the STM32F469 Discovery board? Will I need or should I use other hardware to interface the display to the Discovery board or to get to know the display before actually connecting it to the board? Is the touch data transmitted on a different interface? This is my first experience in embedded development. Thanks for advance for any advice you would like to give me.

Hello, I just started working on my first project utilising the STM32 family of processors - STM32wle5 to be exact, but I've ran into some issues. While setting up LORAWAN middleware in CubeMX v. 6.5.0, I've found no options related to RF switches. For the hardware, I just have a single GPIO Output line that is either HIGH or LOW signalising RX/TX and for the RF switch i have this IC. Does this have to be configured outside of CubeMX or is there somewhere a hidden option?

First the GUI is all screwed up. When I look at USART2 It gives me the choices forGPIO output level,GPIO mode, GPIO Pull-up/Pull-downMaximum output speedUser Label,it is missing Fast Mode. I click down to USART1_TX and the list is different. It hasGPIO mode,GPIO Pull-up/Pull-downMaximum output speed,Fast ModeUser LabelThis one is missing GPIO Output Level. And it says it is "Modified" I told it to revert to the default and it is still "Modified"  This is a known problem, but it does not help me that it is known. Here is the code generated. /** * @brief USART1 Initialization Function * @param None * @retval None */ static void MX_USART1_UART_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END USART1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END USART1_Init 1 */ huart1.Instance = USART1; huart1.Init.BaudRate = 115200; huart1.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B; huart1.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; huart1.Ini

I have spent hours trying to find bugs, and when I report them I am told they are "known problems". And the ST employee points to a number, that is internal to ST only. Companies publish Errata sheets all the time when the chip does not work as advertised with workarounds. Why not have one for your software tools?

Hello everyone, I currently have devices with a specific FW released on market. In this FW there is a structure saved in internal flash memory (with "const" and defined areas on linker file). In the new version I am working on, I need to expand an array placed in the middle of this structure. The problem is that data next to this array will change location by doing this, what I would like to avoid. Is there a way to add the new data of the array at the end of the structure ? Or any other idea ?Thanks a lot for your help !

Hello,I have a problem with the ST25DV04KC-IE.In the datasheet the register MB_WDG (000Eh) must have a factory value of 0x03 but my chips have 0x1a. Bits 3-7 are RFU in the datasheet. Do you know why there is a difference? The real problem is that I tried to change this value to 0x00 through I2C to disable the WD. When I write 0x00 in this register, the I2C become "broken" and answer NACK to each read/write command. I have this problem on 2 boards so my two boards are bricked.I try to change this value through NFC and the ST25 app without any success. I can change the register 0Dh but I've an error with the register 0Eh. (Error 01 10 (ISO15693_BLOCK_NOT_AVAILAB...)).How can I reset my board to the factory value?Thank you.Edit: With the ST25DV_discovery_ANT_C1 (ST25DV04K-J), I can set MB_WDG to 0x00 and I can change the MB_WDG register through NFC.

Hello community!I use a custom motorcontrol PCB with the STSPIN32G4, using the µc's internal OPs with external resistors to setup the gain. I use the same resistors as EVSPIN32G4 only with 0.5mOhm shunt instead of 5mOhm (see picture). With this configuration, I should be able to sense currents of up to 450 Amp. When no current is flowing through the shunt, the measured voltage on the OP out is 1,65V which is correct. The problem is that at 15A flowing through the shunt, the OP output is at 2V already. So the gain is far higher than what I enter in the workbench (gain in workbench is 7,333 and with the observed voltage output at 15A I calculate that the actual gain is around 48). There seems to be something wrong with the gain settings. In the changelog of SDK 5.Y.4, it says, that in version 5.Y.3 standalone mode for STM32G4 could not be processed by cubeMX: So I thought maybe this is fixed in the new version, but apparently there is still something wrong. The OPAMP settings are as

Hello,We currently have a desktop application based on C# for communicating between ST25R3911B-DISCO board and ST25DV dynamic tag. The application itself is similar to ST PC software for ST25R3911B-DISCO board but with limited functionalities as currently we only need Fast Transfer Mode for communication. My PC software based on C# is able to perform inventory discovery successfully, and is also able to read the data from mailbox (verified by writing data to mailbox using ST software and reading data by using C# software). But issue arrives when i try to perform Mailbox write operation, the error returned is invalid command code for write operation. I looked at the ST25DV datasheet for RF commands and frame formats also the logs of the ST PC software to understand how the write operation data frame is transmiited but that's different from the data frame that's sent from my application. There are files in my project which adds the protocol header to data frame. So can anyone please help

May i know in what library used for push button or the example code for push button?

I am using ST25DV. Access from RF must be restricted.I'm trying to use RFSwitchOff / RFSwitchOn for this purpose, but NACK is returned. Before using these, I changed the I2C_CFG setting in the System register to 0x3A (I2C_DEVICE_CODE: 1010, I2C_E0: 1, I2C_RF_SWITCHOFF_EN, 1).I got the value of I2C_CFG of System register and confirmed that it is 0x3A.And I use the following address.RF SwitchOff: 0xA2(Slave address + W(0))RF SwitchOn: 0xAA(Slave address + W(0))Start condition + RF Switch Off or On->NACKPlease give me some advice to solve this problem

Hello,I am currently interfacing ST25DV with STM32L073 MCU using lower level drivers for I2C instead of HAL drivers. I have successfully configured and tested the ST25DV FTM mode. Now i want to use the user memory region in ST25DV to store product information. So what should be the steps to write and read from the user memory (EEPROM) ? As per the docs, i have to disable the mailbox to have access to EEPROM. So i disabled the mailbox using dynamic register. Than opened I2C session by passing password. Using i2c write function tried writing a single byte to 0x0000 address but write function failed. When i try using HAL driver it gives me error code of 1. So can anyone please tell me the step for writing / reading from the user memory EEPROM in ST25DV04K.

Hi im trying to develop a bit of error management in my canbus driver.I noticed there is an ErrorCode inside the canbus structure. That error code could have any of these values:  But it turns out the hcan.ErrorCode is always HAL_CAN_ERROR_NONE, even if the canbus is not plugged to anything wich should give any of these://#define HAL_CAN_ERROR_EPV (0x00000002U) /*!< Error Passive */ //#define HAL_CAN_ERROR_BOF (0x00000004U) /*!< Bus-off error */  //#define HAL_CAN_ERROR_ACK (0x00000020U) /*!< Acknowledgment error */Am i missing something out here? maybe something needs to be enabled somewhere in the HAL to get errors¿

Hello Developers,I am currently working on a project that includes NFC communication using ST25R3911B-DISCO board and ST25DV NFC tags. The project also includes development of custom GUI application similar to STSW-ST25R001 software. Currently i am using STSW-ST25R001 PC software to communicate with ST25R3911B-DISCO board. But can any one let me know is there JAVA source code available for STSW-ST25R001 software ? And if yes please share the necessary links.

Hi, I am using the STM32CubeIDE version 1.9.0 Code Generator feature (via the CubeMX graphical interface) and wanted to generate the 96 MHz sample clock for the I2S codec. Unfortunately, I found that the code generated under sub "void SystemClock_Config(void)" missing the I2S clock setting which supposed to look something like below://all these are not generated by the CubeMX code generator RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInitStruct = {0};   ... PeriphClkInitStruct.PeriphClockSelection = RCC_PERIPHCLK_I2S; PeriphClkInitStruct.PLLI2S.PLLI2SN = 192; PeriphClkInitStruct.PLLI2S.PLLI2SR = 2; if (HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig(&PeriphClkInitStruct) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }My question is:1) Am I missing anything while setting the CubeMX?2) What will be the way out other than copy the code above into my project main.c file?NOTE: I am comparing my code with respect to sample code given by other person then I know that the CubeMX Code Generator of my work lack of the above c

I am using the timer interrupt and currently, it has priority 3 once I get into the ISR then I want to change the priority to 2. I have used like below but the priority not changing.NVIC->IPR[6] |= NVIC_IPR6_PRI_25 & 0x22222222;__dsb(0);In above, __dsb(0) or __dsb(1) I am not getting?I am using the Keil environment.

Hi Team ,Please teach me , How to wakeup the device using NMI ?Please provide any sample code for SPC560P40.Thanks and RegardsThilak S

When I configure a SWV data trace comparator with a variable name, it's working properly. If, instead of the variable name, I use its address (extracted from the map file, so I know it's correct), it doesn't work, I mean no data is printed out in the SWV Data Trace window and SWV Trace Log doesn't show any activity related to this. For this simple example, it would be fine to use the variable name but, for other situations, using the address is required as the IDE is not able to resolve the variable address.I'm currently using v1.9.0, I don't know if previous versions are showing the same issue.Any clue about that?

I have an STLINK-V3SET connected to a Seeed Lora-E5. I also have a Nucleo L476 developement board with on-board STLINK. On the Seeed board I am able to connect STM32CubeProgrammer and have loaded a file. I cannot connect however STM32CubeIDE as I get an immediate failure to connect due to GDB server ....On the Nucleo I have successfully connected the STM Utility and downloaded a file but once again I cannot connect STM32CubeIDE. I downloaded all three of these apps today so they are the latest....CubeIDE is 1.10.0. The IDE was working just fine as I have flashed Nucleol476 and NucleoWB boards but somehow I have corrupted it's ability to use the GDB server. I deleted the debug and .launch but to no avail....Please help here as I no longer have the ability to use the IDE ????? UPDATE:removed 1.10.0 IDE and went back to 1.9.0....Below is the message received as I tried to load the application and run it on a NucleoL476....it got farther than it has but still some sort of issue???? Fu

Dear all,I am using Cube MX to generate a template code for my new project. In Advanced Settings page under project manager tab, Init sub-routines order is not correct and I also cannot fix it. DMA is used in ADC1 and it should initialize before than ADC1_Init. However Cube MX puts ADC1_Init function before than DMA_Init. MX_ADC1_Init order also cannot be changed because order change buttons are not active. There is a problem with RCC section as well. I reported previously and ST said it is known issue and will be fixed. (https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001Xuay2SAB/adc-clock-setting-in-st-cube-mx-for-stm32h742vgt). However I may find another problem. I genereted a template code using Cube MX and I realized some peripherals clock and PLLs are not set in PeriphCommonClock_Config subroutine. I am not sure whether it is a mistake but I believe it is. There is only settings for PLL3 and SPI123. I am using PLL2Q and some USARTs. Do you think it is a mistake and cube mx should gene

Hello, we are having trouble with our application binary size. Inspecting the binary, I noticed that TouchGFX frameBuf is stored in .data section, meaning that it takes about 150kB of flash space in addition to RAM space. Is it possible to store frameBuf in .bss so that flash space is not used? If I understand correctly, it could be initialized to just zero? According to documentation:> Use the section "TouchGFX_Framebuffer" in the linker to specify the placement of the buffer but I have not been successful trying to modify the linker script

I just downloaded both STM32CubeMX (windows) and en.stm32cubef4_v1-27-0.zip.When I try to install the F4 package, it ask me for confirmation of license, checks license, churns mightly for a long while, and finally says "Problem during Unzip".I confirmed I can unzip the file AOK and downloaded a 2nd time just to be sure.I tried letting CubeMX download and install the file, with same result. What's going on???Thanks,Best Regards, Dave
