Hello,I'm new to RFID and I have troubles with the RATS command of the ISO-14443 standard. I am currently working with a CR95HF (reader) and a ST25TA02KB-D (tag). The uC driving the reader is an Arduino UNO, this part is working fine so far.My issue is that I can't manage to have an answer from the tag when sending the RATS command. The error I get is the 87 : "Frame wait time out" according to the reader datasheet.I found similar issues and the main culprit seems to be the Frame Waiting Time :Link 1Link 2Link 3But even with this parameter set to 10ms I can't get a valid answer to the RATS command. Here is a capture of the data exchange between the Arduino UNO and the CR95HF until the RATS command :Protocol selection (FDT = 10ms) :>>> 00 02 05 02 00 00 21 00<<< 00 00REQA :>>> 00 04 02 26 07<<< 80 05 42 00 28 00 00ANTICOLLISION (there is only one tag in the reader field) :>>> 00 04 03 93 20 08<<< 80 08 88 02 E3 00 69 28 00 00SELECT :&

I create the TouchGFX program. Then I browse the folder, open the project with double click. If I download the program to my board (F469I-DISCOVERY) it works. I can modify the Model, Presenter and View files as well. But if I want to configure an SPI channel in the CubeMX part then I save this and I download the code (there aren't any errors) the display stays black. First I tried to add a new task to the project and I tought that it's my fault because I don't really know the FreeRTOS. But it's not about the task. As I mentioned it doesn't work if I add a GPIO or SPI channel.I already spent months to solve this problem but unfortunately I can't.I would be grateful if somebody could help me!Thank you!

I'm starting using SPC5 familly and I discover chips and tools.I would like to first start with a low cost solution and then (second generation of product) to have my project ASIL-B certified. I understand that I will have to go with a STM 3rd party like EB tresos, isn't it ?I would like to know if there is a difference between low level drivers included in free SPC5 studio and those included in certified MCA ?And , for my understanding is MCAL interface just above low level driver ?Thanks in advance,Christophe

Hello,In the annex video it is mentioned that the project archive is available for the Nucleo board project with X-NUCLEO-IKA01A1, however when I download the materials archive it appears to be missing.Could you confirm this is the case, if so would it be possible to make this project available for download also? Many thanks,Anthony

Hi,The vl53l5cx_api.h file contains information about interesting functions to enable or disable the internal VCSEL charge pump:/** * @brief This function is used to disable the VCSEL charge pump * This optimizes the power consumption of the device * To be used only if AVDD = 3.3V * @param (VL53L5CX_Configuration) *p_dev : VL53L5CX configuration structure. */ uint8_t vl53l5cx_enable_internal_cp( VL53L5CX_Configuration *p_dev);     /** * @brief This function is used to disable the VCSEL charge pump * This optimizes the power consumption of the device * To be used only if AVDD = 3.3V * @param (VL53L5CX_Configuration) *p_dev : VL53L5CX configuration structure. */ uint8_t vl53l5cx_disable_internal_cp( VL53L5CX_Configuration *p_dev);Unfortunately, I cannot find other usefull information about this topic in the documentation. What is the default state of the internal charge pump after initialization (ULD ver. 1.3.4)?What is the expected power consumption delta when ch

My project uses LTDC as application tick source and two frame buffers. I am trying to understand:1. What the current frame rate (I understand this is same as vSync frequency) is. I know it can be measured by monitoring vSyncFreq GPIO. But I want to see where it is in code.2.What are the steps to change frame rate? I would like to see it in code please. If frame rate is change is achieved by changing the pixel clock, what is the relation between two.  I appreciate your help.

Okay, thread number 371982 about the STM's UART... - but maybe not?I recently found that I'm using some blocking printf / UART version, so I wanted to change that to non-blocking via DMA.So far so good, works flawlessly.Until I start "firing" the printfs, then it looks like parts of the previous strings are overwritten by the following printfs.I think that I wait for all the right flags before starting a new DMA TX (I know that if the DMA says it's finished that there might still by a byte in the peripheral) in _write(), and the single printf (or more with some pauses) shows me that it's generally working. So this works:printf("string1");... do other stuff...printf("string2");This doesn't:printf("string1");printf("string2");So after having checked UART and DMA again, could it be GCC's printf memory handling? So that rapid printfs use the same memory space, and older data is overwritten by newer printfs? Here's my _write() function:Note: if I put the DMA transmit before the while loop, ev

I'm trying to setup STM32F429I with TouchGFX, but during the debug this message appears:How can I enable it?

I want the STM32H75x, but it's hard to find in my country. That said, I don't want to write clones of "anonymous" companies.I wonder when production will be back to normal.

The reference manual states that the STM32L452 should be able to use an TIM3_TRGO as a trigger for ADC conversion:Though when I try to setup the "External Trigger Conversion Source" in STM32CubeMX there is no drop-down option for Timer 3, only TIM1/TIM2/TIM6/TIM15:Am I doing something wrong? Can I just ignore the STM32CubeMX and insert the appropriate EXTSEL-bits in the code myself?

TL;DR What's the magic sauce for connecting to an STM32F7 with SWD on ST-Link?Hello everyone. I am perplexed because I have been unable to program my custom board based on the STM32F765VGT6. (Hardware Eagle files + pdfs, Logic data captures, and some screenshots attached for reference)When I try to program my board with ST-Link I get the error "Error in initializing ST-Link device.Reason: (4) No device found on target."But I can't find a lot of information on what that means. My problem seems very similar to the unresolved thread here:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkXslSAF/stm32f103rbt6-error-no-device-found-on-targetAs suggested in that thread I have confirmed that:Reset is pulled highBoot0 is pulled lowVCC is stable at 3.3V and appears at all desired pins of the board (according to AN4661, https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/application_note/b0/5c/ba/b2/cb/10/41/dd/DM00164549.pdf/files/DM00164549.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00164549.pdf)GN

Hello,I am trying to port SBSFU example project on STM32L433RC board. I followed getting started and integration guide to integrate STM32L432KC SBSFU 1 image example project(after modification) on STM32L433RC board. Below is the image where it gets stuck and waits for New user firmware. I ran scripts from MOOC workshop. It just uses UserApp.bin to download on board. Not sure why the code is trying to ask to download new user firmware. Can anyone help in pointing out if I am doing something wrong? Thanks!

Specifically, when T_VCC is not supplied, what state are the pins in for the STLINK-V3SET? We are using the SWDIO, SWCLK, and JTAG pins on the STDC14 connector CN1.

Hi Guys, first time poster here and kinda a noob in deployment of Models, so sorry if i forget to mention something. My Projekt:Currently i developed a ML model in python, which is working and takes as Input float numbers. Now i wanted to deploy it on an STM32H747I-DISCO Development-Board as training with the STM32Cube-AI component. The validation per "validation application" was fine, so i wanted to write an manuel code so i could do pre- and postprocess the data. Therefor i used a dummy dataset, where i know the results of the inferenz and wanted to do an inferenz with the following code. It gives me no error, but the results of the inferenz are wrong/ not defined. The result of the inferenz should be ~1, but it gaves me the following:The Definiton of the input is for one float four ai_i8, which together gives an float number 1 (which mantisse, exp and sign) and in the code it looks like that: It would be great if someone can explain me, how i should give my Input to the ai_network_run

After writing a NDEF message to the M24SR02-Y NFC Tag the Chip doesn't work anymore. If I scan it with a NFC app I can see that under technologies NDEF isn't listed anymore. Before the writing process it was listed. Does anybody know a reason for this?

Hello,I'm trying to understand the LIS2DE12 behaviour. First, there is no AN (Application Note), thus I used the one for LIS3DH which seems close enough. What I want is that my accelerometer wake up my stm32. This works. After that I just want to read 1 sample to know the current acc value. But the FIFO system seems a problem for me. In the doc, it says the sample I get is the oldest one in the FIFO and that if I don't read fast enough data will be overwrited.I just want to read one sample for Z-Axis when I need in my code. Do you have any idea or clue? Thanks.Best regards, Simon

Hi,I try to make stm32l496 as a video camera device. I use Ov5640 sensor. The aim is that taking photos and send them to the host device directly (like a webcam). The challenge is that when I try to use high resolutions, due to I don't use any memory, how I can handle it and send the data through otg? I want to use WVGA resolution (800x480) with JPEG format.

For a project, I could grab a few STM32L4R5ZI-P µC and am not sure what to connect to the 2 SMPS VDD12 pins when I do not want to provide external voltage but use the integrated LDO.The datasheet is not quite clear on this scenario.I have no augmented power saving needs, so the internal LDO will be fine for me.So, can I just leave pins 70 & 142 floating, or do I have to apply some decoupling capacitors?Cheers,B.

I tried following this tutorial (https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000BYnQt6/sensortilebox-not-connecting), but it looks like DfuSe is obsolete, and I should use the new STM32CubeProg tool. I couldn't seem to find any information on how to use the STM32CubeProg tool to restore to defaults. How do I use STM32CubeProg to restore to defaults?

I am using STM32H7 General Purpose Timers TIM2, TIM3, TIM4, TIM5 and their respective external trigger ETR using combined RESET and TRIGGER modes and I am configuring and starting Channel4 for each to generate One-Pulse output . All the configuration and startup steps followed, Base counter started, Channels started but It does not work. All the One-Pulse examples I found in STM app notes and on-line examples show only one case of the Timer slave mode for One-Pulse generation: using the TI1FP1 or TI2FP2 inputs from the channel pins. Not ETR, not ITx examples , but only those two.I suspect that only these inputs triggers are allowed for the Timer One-Pulse mode but the user manual on One-Pulse Ch. 39.3.13 fails to mention that.User guide for STM32H7 One-pulse mode Ch. 39.3.13 states:Starting the counter can be controlled through the slave mode controller. No limitations have been mentioned regarding the trigger choice for the Timer slave mode , although Chapters on Ge
