Can't enter into the debug mode on the development branch, but when I switch to master branch I can normally use the debugger. Difference between master and dev branch is minimal, and projects settings and debugging configuration is the same. I've tried to restart the CubeIDE, clean the project and remove all live expressions, restart the PC, but nothing seems to fix it.

Hello,Is it possible to use bigger pressed button image than released button image? How can I achieve it?

Hi everyone,Something weird happened while I was uploading to my board. The upload crashed half way through and now the USB STLink interface isn't recognized. I think I should be able to upload a working ELF file in UART mode, but to do that I need to boot into bootloader. The user manual indicates that BOOT0 is tied to GPIO B12 (PB12), but I can't find that on the board anywhere. There is a solder bridge for the purpose as well, but I would much rather just use the GPIO. Does anyone have experience with this board who can tell me which pin I need to bridge to get into bootloader mode?

Hello,I am currently using STM32WLE5CC MCU, which has a great feature of RTC with 32-bit sub-second wakeup counter, But I need a low cost MCU for my other non lorawan project, which also need this "RTC with 32-bit sub-second wakeup counter" feature. Please suggest MCU in Ultra low Power with RTC with 32-bit sub-second wakeup counter, and if this sub-second counter underflows, then it generates interrupt.Thank You

Hello,I have a X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1 suite. When I used this hardware and the FOC algorithm(PWM frequency is 8kHz) to drive a BLDC motor. Then I found that the overcurrent protection was always triggered, but I didn't know why it was triggered and how to solve it. Can someone help me?In my control algorithm I am using only the next pins of L6230 chip:- EN1, EN2 and EN3 (for enable the whole bridge),- IN1, IN2, and IN3 (on that pins I generate PWM signals, without dead time),- 3 pins for reading currentsAlthough the motor can rotate, it has the strong vibration and the l6230 chip is seriously hot, as the same in this problem community.st.com/s/feed/0D50X0000AeXo70SQCI use 24V DC input. Here are three oscilloscope waveforms. In the first figure, yellow waveform is a PWM input of the l6230, and the blue waveform is the out1 output, It is obvious that the out1 output is discontinuous. The second is a magnified version of the first picture. The third figure shows that the yellow waveform is the wav

I inherited a lot of NOS chips and would really like to know what these are. A datasheet would be perfect, but every other information about them is welcome.

Hi i want to access remotely my stm32mp157c-dk2 with graphical interface. I am running openstlinux-20-02-19 from starter package. I installed tigervnc (apt-get install tigervnc and apt-get install xauth) and start it by typing "vncserver". But when i connect to it (from vncviewer) only terminal shows up, nothing else. I tried to start some desktop session from this terminal by typing (weston / weston-start / dbus-launch weston-start / weston-launch) but nothing works. I also tried to modify ~/.vnc/xstartup and changed to :#!/bin/shunset SESSION_MANAGERunset DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESSexec dbus-launch weston-startBut after this change, only black screen shows up : /I am new to wayland/weston and vnc configuration. I hope somebody with more experience can help me with this.

Hello,I used the default .IOC configuration by TouchGFX. My intention is to add ETH to the project that was automatically generated by TouchGFX. PA0 was mapped to: VSYNC_FREQ by the default TouchGFX configuration in the IOC. This signal is used for performance monitoring, removing it is ok!Combining ETH/RMII and QSPI is different:I look at the IO’s and OCSPI1 are connected to PD & PG6 (via AF10 for port G)  GPIO’s on the schematic, RMII is connected to PA, PB, PC and PG13 (via AF11 for port G). ( DS13312 Rev 3 datasheet P110) Is it correct to conclude that the IO layout of the board does not allow me to combine QSPI via OCSPI1 and Ethernet communication as both have other requirements for GPIO port G alternate function selection?  Best Regards,Johi.

Hi,I use STM32H7+LWIP+FreeRTOS. With using STM32IDE and this forum I can now ping to my board from PC and get answer - perfect. Now I want to send and recieve some UDP packets - I can browse the code and try to understand how it all works (how to TX/RX). E.g. Is there any callback UDP_Packet_Recieved(..).. ?But is there any documentation for this combo of LWIP + STM32 + FreeRTOS? Or example how to send or recieve data? Thank you.

HiDo we need to calibrate every sensor in the production line, or we just need to make the calibration once to the standard product?Sensor: VL53L1X.Thanks

Hello Community,I want to connect my STM32U5 ( B-U585IOT02A ) using mqtt to local broker which is running on ubuntu system.I found one example running mqtt in STM32U5 ( B-U585IOT02A ). STM32CubeU5/Projects/B-U585I-IOT02A/Applications/NetXDuo/Nx_MQTT_Client at main · STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeU5 · GitHubBut this example demonstration runs mqtt with tls and test broker test.mosquitto.com But in my case I just want to share sensors data using mqtt to mqtt broker running in ubuntu system over same wifi network. Can Anyone can tell me where should I do changes in the example to achieve connection to local broker. Thanks in advance for you valuable answer.

Hello, I am going crazy, I always get the error that the structure Lcd_Ctx is not declared, while it is clearly declared (by including "stm32h750b_discovery_lcd.h"). With F3 I can find the structure declaration. If I change the file from .c to .cpp the error is gone...See screenshot below:

Hi. When debugging stm32l476rgt6 on NUCLEO-64 __WFI instruction has no effect. My question is simple: is it possible to enter stop mode while debugging? I know that it is possible to stop dbg clock during clear DBG_STOP bit. But after awake debugger detach from MCU. So, how can I enter stop mode while debugging? Maybe there is some specific configuration of clock?

Hello,I want to test some code (including the exception handler for parity error) that kicks in when a parity error gets detected by the micro. But how can I induce a parity error? The processor is stm32f0x8.

Hello,A PDSO14 type component with the marking EZ9Q706 (ST Microelectronics) is on an electronic board. Would it be possible to have the datasheet of this components? Thanks.

Hi,After installing and running the latest, OpenStLinux discovered a problem with M4. Firmware is loading fine, but the system doesn't create /dev/ttyRPMSGx channel. I'm trying to make my custom STM32WB55 board.Recently, I succeed to start programming the STM32WB55VGY6TR but the advertisement of custom Bluetooth low energy does not start. I tested programming the Nucleo-WB55 board with the same coding and it was successfully coded and advertised custom Bluetooth. So, I can conclude that there is no problem with the code.I checked what is happening in the microcontroller using USART communication, but there is no wireless firmware version (It was 1.0.0 in the Nucleo-WB55 board) and no message regarding starting advertisements like below.  Is there any possible reason it does not work?My RF structure in the custom board looks like below.

Hello,I have read the reference manual but the terminology used in the .ioc file and the reference manual do not align, so I am getting confused. I am using the STM32H7B3I-EVAL evaluation board, which uses a STM32H7B3LIH6Q MCU. According to the datasheet, that has a clock frequency of 280 MHz. I am trying to configure the CAN protocol's baud rate and I need to determine what to set the parameters to. Specifically:NominalPrescaler/DataPrescalerNominalSyncJumpWidth/DataSyncJumpWidthNominalTimeSeg1/DataTimeSeg1NominalTimeSeg2/DataTimeSeg2Based on what I've read online, I used this website to do my bit timing calculation:http://www.bittiming.can-wiki.info/I want to run a 500 kBit/s baud rate for my example. I would like to verify my steps:Step 1: Determine FDCAN clock frequencyFor this, I went to the .ioc file and it says the FDCAN clock is 280 MHz (Proof: Picture FDCAN_Ex)Step 2: Use bit timing calculation website: Step 3: Define hfdcan1.Init parameters in code: Based on this, h

As I have been developing a printer, therefore I need fast external ram to store all the data at once and then retrieve the data from the ram to the printer board. I have used the FIFO memory but that's not enough for the data. As I need a minimum 64 Mbit ram. Can somebody suggest to me the ram or SRAM or any other type of ram that can be easily configured by the stm32 microcontroller and fast enough in reading and writing data, at least 6 mhz retrieving data speed.

My issue is I had to do a re-install of W10 and now Toolset43 fails on the last hurdle with "Cannot change C:\DumpStack.log.tmp to non read-only" Have tried giving permissions, running as Admin, deleting the file (assuming it would be re-created) but all to no avail. It installed flawlessly 12 months ago but simply refuses to complete now. The error message suggests I check the installation drive (C:\). Suggestions would be helpful.

Hi all,I'm using STM32F429 on a custom board which is running a TFT LCD and RTC is running slow compared to the computer clock. 8MHz crystal is connected to HSE but currently, LSE is using an internal clock. My question is: Can I connect the external crystal to LSE pins to get accurate RTC or do I need to connect the second crystal to it? Please see attached pictures.Any other suggestions will be very helpful, I'm badly stuck here.

Hello everyone,I am now working with LoRaWAN_End_Node on Nucleo-WL55JC1 and I found no place to change configuration such as BW, TX power, Spreading Factor, etc. in this example (Probably, I found at wrong places). Is it possible to change those factors in this example and if not, is there other example from MX I can do that?Kind regards,Huy Nguyen.

Hi, I've got a x-nucleo board marked shield-m24sr-adv and I'm unable to find any docs about it. Well of course its a NFC reader board but.......

Hello,In our project, we are using a STM32H7B3ZI, LQFP144 package. We are using a simple 24v, 33k/2k7 voltage divider to sense a voltage and expected a voltage at this pin ~1.8V. The signal is connected to PA4, evaluated by ADC1CH18, no PU, no PD.Furthermore, we are using the temp channel of ADC2.We use CubeMX for configuration, version 1.10.During initialization, everything is fine, the signal has something around 1.78V. As soon as ADC2 is initialized, the PA4 pin will be pulled down to 0.7V. This is not expected behavior, as PA4 is not connected to ADC2 in any way and the input impedance should way higher than ~2k.We can reproduce this bahaviour with serveral PCBA. Furthermore, we unsoldered the package pin,and voltage divider was fine. Same bahavior after deleting flash of uC.Could you please explain this behavior? Are there known issues?Thank you,Florian
