When I created the TouchGFX project, I set it up to 800 *480.However, the LCD has been changed, so we have to change the things we have worked on so far to 854*480.I am trying to change the resolution in TouchGFX, but the setting part is not allowed to be modified.We need to change 800*480 to 854*480. If anyone knows how to do it, please ask

I wanted to use STM32CubeIDE with the NUCLEO-H753ZI and to my surprise there are no examples in the list to pick from. I there a !:1 compatible board? I was able to make my own example but would like to see some ST demo solutions.

Hello together,I'm using Nucleo-32 board (with a STM32G431KBTx) and have got some problems...In my project I'm using:-> UART (here I'm using RX-DMA and interrupt with an IDLE-flag)-> ADC, one channel-> I²C with an EEPROM (no DMA, no Interrupt)Problems and attempted solutionsProblem 1: if I write some bytes to EEPROM (I'm using HAL_I2C_Mem_Write(...) for that), and wait 5ms after the writing a page, the MCU stucks in HAL_Delay forever. After some googling I found a solution for this, increase interrupt priority for SysTick_Handler. Okay, all my interrupts have 0 as "preemption priority", so I've configured priorities like this:After that fix, reading/writing from/to EEPROM runs like a charm.BUT:The uart communication broke. That means, I request some data (exactly 70 Bytes) from MCU by sending a character (i.e. an V), but I get just 65 bytes, or 67 bytes, or 70 bytes, or 64 bytes... so it's not deterministic, but in 98% the requests I get less then 70bytes...If I set all the pr

Hi all,I have a project running on an STM32F427VI that makes some specific use of the dual-bank flash, both for storing certain configuration parameters and for a custom bootloader. It's great, but I don't get anywhere near using the full 2MB of flash memory, so given difficulties in finding chips I'd like to be able to use the STM32F427VG chip, with 1MB of flash, instead.I see that if the DB1M option bit is set, I can use the flash of the 1MB chip in dual-bank mode with a layout similar to the 2MB chip, which is perfect.So I got a 1MB chip and soldered it to the board. For fun, I programmed it with my existing bootloader and application and ... it worked?This is surprising, because the bootloader process uses flash that is beyond the 0x0810 0000 (1MB) boundary. If I connect to the chip using ST-LINK, it correctly shows the 1MB flash size, and if I go to "Erase Sectors ..." it correctly shows the 1MB single-bank flash layout. But in my code, at various times I erase flash sectors >

We will be using this part to drive 6 automotive contactors. Supply voltage is 12/24V.

I'm trying to run a 4-stage dc-dc converter using the NUCLEO-G474 board.For this, the MCU needs to execute 4 parallel controllers at 200 KHz. I am aware of how to set up a single filter/controller by looking at AN5305 application note, but is there some way of setting the FMAC with 4 filters simultaneously? (assuming those filters have 4 feedforward taps and 3 feedback taps each)

I want to reduce the output voltage of the GPIO pin by programming. So, I'm finding a way to reduce core voltage.Is it possible? then where can I do it?If not, is the only way to change fixed LDO physically?For example, using 2.0 V-output LDO.

Absolute Newbie here trying to do my first project. I haven't figured out how one gets to write their code and where. I take it we are to use Keil for that part and I do have it installed from other uC work a couple of years ago. Was this supposed to be added to some sort of toolchain during software installation so that it pops up automatically after Code Generation is executed ? If so, can I add it now ? Thanks.

Hello,I have just "finished" the ethernet interface for a STM32F7, now we think about also using the USB high speed interface (yes, it needs an external high speed USB PHY), that would be for data streaming, as an alternative for using ethernet, as many laptops these days don't have a direct ethernet connection, even less so with PoE.We need an ultra-reliable connection, running for hours / days / weeks, probably as a "mass storage" device (which uses USB bulk transfers, we prefer this compared to isochronous audio class for several reasons).Data rate will be about 50 Mbit/s max.Can anybody please report about their experience with similar use cases with the F7?Thanks!Edit:I almost forgot - how's the (windows) driver side handled by ST / with ST devices?In an old product we use a Cypress FX2 chip plus its win driver.

Hello community,now that STM32F767 + lwIP / TCP is working well, I found that sometimes it takes too long for streaming that the other side gets the data (some other network traffic, or delayed ACKs, or whatever Windows does), and the STM32's internal SRAM buffers are not big enough.Right now I'm using about 350 kB, but at the highest streaming rate of about 50 Mbit/s, that is enough for only about 50 ms.So now I'm looking for some small package external SRAM.The problem I see:size / serial vs. data rateWhen using external SRAM as kind of FIFO, it needs at least double data rate of the 50 Mbit/s = ~7 MByte/s, in case of a serial solution even much more for addressing.For now I have only experience with parallel SRAM (connected to an FPGA), so I'm looking for some advice!My best guess for now would be to look at QSPI, or OctoSPI, and I'd rather have some input from people who already used this and have some experience concerning handling and throughput.

I have used MX up to this point to configure my peripherals. Even though I've manually configured these for most of my career, I'd prefer to keep using MX for this project since it's been successful up to this point. For some reason it doesn't show me the baud rate for SPI2 like it does for SPI3, however (even though it's greyed out due to being constrained). Is this just a bug, or would I discover something specific to SPI2 that's a problem if I try to configure it manually?

Hello everyone.I'm trying to work with STM32CubeMonitor to implement an industrial machine Life Test JIG using 12 ST-LINK v2 probes connected to STM32 microcontrollers by SWD protocol, but I'm facing very strange and anoying issues.This post will focus only on CPU critical allocation on V1.4.0.When acq node is started (only after receive start acquisition order) the process allocate 100% of one CPU core.As shown on the picture below, I'm using at the moment and for development purposes, only two ST-LINK probes, that's why "only" two cores are at 100% allocation. This does not occurs on STM32CubeMonitor V1.3.0 According to V1.4.0 release notes the multiple probe acquisitions was improved. Windows 10 pro has the same behaviour on V1.3.0 and V1.4.0Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop has also been tested and verified.All installation recomendations defined at wiki have been meet.Question: Is this CPU allocation expected/known and it's a true improvment relative to v1.3.0?

Hi everyone.I'm trying to secure STM32CubeMonitor Editor and UI as defined to Node-RED, but is not possible secure STM32CubeMonitor.After define a user and password at settings.js (even only for STM32 CubeMonitor) the editor and UI breaks and are simply useless.  This is a critical issue nowadays, not been able to secure a webserver that can be exposed to remote access, to provide REST API's and so on...Tested STM32CubeMonitor v1.3.0In other hand, this features works perfectly on native Node-RED instances.There is a known workaround to secure STM32CubeMonitor editor and UI with user-password login?

When creating project using Board Selector, Nucleo-C031C6, the incorrect MCU pinout definition is created with two errors: I2C1 is activated and pins are assigned for it and USART1 is initialized using PB6&PB7 instead of USART2 with pins PA2&PA3,which is the default hardware config.The generated code for USART2 with DMA has incorrect initialization order (USART2 is initialized before DMA, so DMA doesn't work). It's NOT possible to change the init order using Project Manager - Advanced Settings tab. The only way to get it in order is by editing the main.c but of course re-generating the code restores the original incorrect order.

Hello,This is a mixture of a C question and a CAN communication question, as I want to find the simplest solution for what I'm trying to do. I have an 8 byte CAN message that I successfully receive and store in an array (uint8_t RXData[8]). I am sending part of this data (RxData[0 to 3]) to a display on the STM32H7B3I-EVAL evaluation board. I want to store the data in a single uint32_t variable (since RxData[0 to 3] represents a single piece of data. Specifically, a voltage). So storing it in pieces of an array makes it difficult to do arithmetic on it (scale the 0-65535 range of uint32_t to represent a voltage range of 0-60V). What is the simplest way to do this?

I used to send AT command to a module with HAL_UART_Transmit():void send_uart(char * buffer) { uint16_t buffer_size = strlen(buffer); uint8_t CRLFbuff[] = "\r\n"; HAL_UART_Transmit(&hlpuart1, CRLFbuff, 2, 0xFF); // ok HAL_UART_Transmit(&hlpuart1, (uint8_t *)buffer, buffer_size, 0xFF); // ok HAL_UART_Transmit(&hlpuart1, CRLFbuff, 2, 0xFF); // ok }and receive answer with HAL_UART_Receive_IT() byte per byte: HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&hlpuart1, &Rx_data, 1);   void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { if (huart->Instance == LPUART1){ // Current UART if (Rx_indx + 1 > rx_buffer_size){ Rx_indx = 0; } if (Rx_data != 0x0A){ // If received data different from LF Rx_Buffer[Rx_indx++] = Rx_data; // Add data to Rx_Buffer } else { Rx_indx = 0; Transfer_cplt++;//transfer complete, data is ready to read } HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&hlpuart1, &Rx_data, 1); //activate UART receive interrupt every time } }And this is working we

I have this really weird problem that has something to do with the RTC Backup data registers. I was testing the bootloaders ability to fall back to previous version of the firmware by letting IWDT reboot the device. Bootloader has a counter that uses RTC backup register, which is zeroed in the main-program when it starts, and if it counts to three as an indication that the main-program never runs, bootloader falls back. There is also another RTC backup register in use to save the reboot reason flag. I commented this zeroing out in main, to let the bootloader fall back. But when i tried to run the program it now fails to the previous rtc backup read function on the second boot cycle. This can be reset by full power cycle, i mean it does the same thing every time after power cycle. If i comment out the RTC backup register read function, everything works fine.This is my firs post here, so i will be modifying this. This posting-interface is really un-intuitive for me. Lets see how this pos

Hi there,I am using TOUCHgfx_4.19.1 and STM32CUBEIDE 1.9.1 to customise my STM32F429I-DISC1 board (E01 Version). I built a very simple button press project from Touchgfx, however, press cannot be detected on this touchscreen after I debugged and loaded this code in STM32CUBEIDE. I did many attempts including loading the demo firmware back to my board to check whether problem occurred due to the board damage, but touchscreen functioned perfectly when I it through TRUESTUDIO (Original code doesnt have CUBEIDE version). I converted this demo project version from TRUESTUDIO to STM32CUBEIDE, it still can be deployed on board successfully and touchscreen worked functionally. Therefore, I concluded that my board wasnt damaged. I also suspected whether it's because of the version mismatch between two software: touchgfx and cubeide, so I tried different version combination and found:Touchgfx 4.20 works fine with cubeide.1.10.1, however, my demo code converted by TRUESTUDIO cannot be run.Touchgf
