Please support on following:I am using the STM32WB55 as a BLE client (central). As I understand there are several types of descriptors. How do I know the characteristic descriptor I discovered is a Client Characteristic Configuration Descriptor(CCDA), and can be written? I am using :aci_gatt_disc_all_char_descThat generates ACI_ATT_FIND_INFO_RESP_EVENT.But the event does not hold a 'type' for the descriptor or a field indicating if it can be written. As according to AN5270 it holds : connection handle, format, length and data which i don't believe can help me that much.I took a quick look into your example for BLE_p2pClient. I see that the descriptor is found using the ACI_ATT_READ_BY_TYPE_RESP_VSEVT_CODE to discover the CCDA. But this doesn't help me because I do not know the UUID of the CCDA in advance.case ACI_ATT_READ_BY_TYPE_RESP_VSEVT_CODE:   ...   if(uuid == P2P_NOTIFY_CHAR_UUID)   {   #if(CFG_DEBUG_APP_TRACE != 0)   APP_DBG_MSG("-- GATT : NOTIFICATION

Hello, I'm having some problems with UART1 in STM8S001J3. I'm using the simple code below (the compilation is ok), but when I try to programming the MCU in STVP, a error happen and the MCU doesn't work anymore, even though I try to programming with a funciotonal firmware (like only GPIO port set). Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Or if there is another way to use UART1 in this MCU.If I put this contidion in DISABLE, the programming process works normally, but UART doesn't work.CLK_PeripheralClockConfig(CLK_PERIPHERAL_UART1, ENABLE);#include "STM8S.h"void clock_setup(void);void GPIO_setup(void);void UART1_setup(void);void main(void){   unsigned char i = 0;      char ch = 0;   clock_setup();   GPIO_setup();   UART1_setup();   while(TRUE)   {      if(UART1_GetFlagStatus(UART1_FLAG_RXNE) == TRUE)      {&nbsp

Hello! I am trying to set up CAN for a custom hardware, but right now I am just trying to get CAN running by itself on a STM32F3Discovery. I attached the full code below, but from what I can tell, it goes as far as sending the message out, but all i read from the bus are error frames. A Kvaser USBCan Light 2xHS is used as the other node. I have tried so the bus works by connecting hardware I know is properly set up, and the Kvaser is able to read it. All nodes are set up to a Baudrate of 250k bit/s. From searching for this problem, the error indicates that the Baudrate is wrong, but from what I can tell it should be 250K, so it makes no sense to me. Since a message tries to be sent out (since the error frame happens at the same time as we try to send a message, it seems the configuration for CAN peripherals is correct.Let me know if any more information is needed!Best regards!

Hi everybody,I'm working on a nucleo-L476. I'll like to write some data in NFC tag M24SR64 (I'm using a dev board ANT-7-M24SR).First, I developped functions to read into ndef memoru on ESP32 dev board. It works well (I can read my message with ST app on cell phone). So now, I try to transfer my code on STM32 platform.First, I send byte 0x52 to select I2C mode. Then I send bytes to select NFC app and the problem is when I try to read M24SR answer, it always send me a nack answer. My code : /* kill RF, select I2C */ HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c2,(NFC_ADDR_7BIT | WRITE_NFC),selectI2C,sizeof(selectI2C),TIMEOUT_NFC); HAL_Delay(1);     //select NFC app HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c2,(NFC_ADDR_7BIT | WRITE_NFC),selectNFCApp,sizeof(selectNFCApp),TIMEOUT_NFC); HAL_Delay(1); HAL_I2C_Master_Receive(&hi2c2, (NFC_ADDR_7BIT | READ_NFC), tab_nfc, 5, TIMEOUT_NFC);I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what. If you have some ideas.Thank you

Where do the "Fast channel" and "Slow channel" texts belong to? To *pins*, or to *inputs to ADC*? If former, why are they not unambiguously on the left hand side of picture, next to the pins names? If latter, why are they only on every other input to ADC?The highlighed line appears to be closer to "Slow channel" below it, but the 'L431 DS says PA1 is fast. I suspect, ADC6 is fast as long as it's used as single-ended and slow when used as differential (as that then involves PA2 which is slow), but why can't this figure or some text say this out explicitly and clearly?JW

Hello,I got some old running fine applications (TouchGFX 4.13, CubeIDE 1.42, CubeMX 6.01) on a C:/ drive.I installed the updated the tools chain on a D:/ drive as a precautionary measure to keep the originals intact.I tried to import the projects but some items are different from an app created with this new tool chain.Especially the STM32CubIDE folder does not show up with the IDE blue icon and its properties does not show the usual Builders, C/C+ Build&General, CMSIS-SVD, Project references settings. More over some C:\ path are still in the .cproject that can be corrected manually to point to D:\ drive. What would be the best way to have those projects build on this new tools chain ?Thanks in advance.

Hi,   Can we use a DDR3L from Winbond with part number W634GU6NB-11 (Speed bin 1866) with STMPU STM32MP1ADD3. As STM32MP1 datasheet suggest that it can support up-to 1066. So using above part from Winbond will have any interface issue ?   Thanks.   Hi @Community member  can you please share your input on above issue.

Hello everyone,I wish to generate Pulses after a certain delay. I already have generated two Asymmetric PWM waveforms which are phase shifted. Now I wish to trigger another timer in One Pulse Mode. How can I achieve this?I am not able to figure out how to set or trigger the one pulse mode of the timer. I am new to timer programming in STM controllers.

Edit: This error is fixed in STM32CubeProgrammer v2.11.0. Just update.I have written a custom external loader for our H7 board. It can access QSPI flash that is connected to an H7 MCU that is connected with SWD to an STLink. Most seems to work, but read from the external flash is limited to approximately 100 kB. The same problem can be replicated on STM32H735G-DK. I use STM32CubeProgrammer v2.5.0.I have used this command to read the external flash:STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=SWD -el /usr/local/STMicroelectronics/STM32Cube/STM32CubeProgrammer/bin/ExternalLoader/MX25LM51245G_STM32H735G-DK.stldr -u 0x90000000 0x30000 ./temp.bin -vb 3It initializes the external loader to enable memory mapping and reads:r ap 0 @0x90000000 0x0001B000 bytes Data 0x00000025It reads only 0x1b000 and not 0x30000 that I wanted. Without verbose it shows a percentage and then success. The resulting file is 0x30000 big, but contains only 0x1b000 of data and then is filled with zeros. If I read another chunk with an o

Hi AllI switched form a STM32L412CBU6 to a STM32L452CEU6 MCU and created therefore a new project. The enable of the Internal Wakeup with RTC is not generated anymore into the rtc.c file using CubeMX Version 6.6.1. (I'm using the option seperte .c/.h file in the code generation setting tab).

Hello,I try to synchronise 6 PWM outputs for an BLDC controller.I use 3 timers :My target is STM32F446RET6 and I'm using STM32CubeIDE.I read that I add to use master/slave mode. I'm not sure it is the best way, but I configured TIM2 (slave) as follow :I chose TIM1 for my master timer : For now, the PWM outputs don't start.I think I'm missing something. For example I chose ITR1 but I can't find in datasheet where does it come from. Thanks for your help,Best regards,Valentin

can u help me fix this issue? sometime it gives alert when there is no noise

In a custom design using a STM32H733vgt and a USB3318 phy, operating as a virtual com port device, full-speed works but high-speed doesn't work. If full-speed works but high-speed doesn't, what do you think would be the culprit?I'm using virtual com-port code, with USB_DEVICE Middleware generated by CubeMX. A similar project setup for STM32F723E-DISCO works ok in high-speed mode and one significant difference is that the F7 on the DISCO has an internal USB high-speed phy whereas my custom design based on an H7 relies on an external phy connected via an ULPI interface.I can successfully run the high-speed phy in full-speed mode using`hpcd_USB_OTG_HS.Init.speed = USBD_HSINFS_SPEED;`It enumerates successfully on Windows as a com port and sends its Hello World message in response to a character received. This implies that several aspects of the design are functional: firmware, the ULPI interface, the phy chip and the connection to the USB device-side connector. To switch to high-speed

Question: Interface two seven-segment LED displays to Port C of STM32F4 MCU that mustincrement and show the rolling of two digits from 00 onwards, to a max of 99, when aswitch SW1 (PB0) is pressed. And must decrement when the user is pressing SW2(PB1).the issues we are facing is there is increment and decrement happening but then increment is not happening after it is decrementing till 0the other issues which are being faced are mentioned below 1) the system is operating even when both the both the switches are off to the topmost mentioned conditional IF loop let it be increment or decrementThe conditions which are to be satisfied for us are 1) both on nothing should be done2) both off nothing should be done3) xor operation it should do increment/decrement(one OFF one ON combination)4) after 99 in increment it should halt and not go to 05) after 0 in decrement it should stopthe proteus desgin we are testing on is mentioned below //program starts from here   #include

Hello Support Team,Currently, I am working with FreeRTOS and using STM32cube IDE.I have created two tasks in my FreeRTOS-based application.I need to require the below data using STM32 cube IDE when both tasks are in a running state. Both tasks are running in CORE-M7.i)   CPU utilization(for particular CORE-M7)ii) RAM Usageiii)FLASH usageEx. In Linux, we easily view the particular process CPU usage and memory.  Could we do the same thing for a particular CORE-M7 in STM32 cube IDE?Let me know how to achieve this in STM32Cube IDE for FreeRTOS.Or, Required any plugins for this give all steps for how to add plugins and use them.Hardware and Software Details:1) Hardware :  - STM32H745 Discovery board.2) Software :  - STM32cube IDE Version: 1.8.0 - OS - Windows OS(Windows 10)Thanks In Advance..

Hello,How can I rename the project-name in STM32CubeIDE ?If I right click on the project(name) and choose rename I get the following error, see attached screenshot.Thank you

Hello, I have an IPM10F and try to switch on the gate, so I can measure a current on the Output U. My Problem is I measure nothing.I put a constant 3.3 Voltage to the Gate-Pin A-High. On the Output (U) I connect a resistance to override the LOW-Switch. After that I tried to measure with a multimeter. I linked one end to the resistance and the other to the ground, like normal. Thank you

Hi ExpertsI used NFC Tap App to transmit data(use FTM write message cmd), transmit 10 byteAs my analysis below the last 4 byte should be the CRC(4 byte)，I think it's use CRC32 method, but I can't calculate the result as same as the App Results by using on-line CRC calculatorCould you please verify this for me? thank you very much!

Is there a rule where to put code into main.c so that it stays there permanently? It happended to me now a couple of times that I added an interrupt callback function which suddenly disappeared. Are there areas in main.c where to safely put those?

Hello,I am working on nucleo-h745ziq board.Interface the usb as custome HId. I try to install the USB HID Demonstrator but it throws error .There is another terminal so I can use ? Please help me

helloWe are using STM32MP157A-dk1 evaluation board. To this we are writing bare metal code in SEGGER Embedded Studio.Actually, We have enabled group and set enable registers for respected SGI and PPI interrupts in GICC and GICD registers. By this we are able to generate SGI and PPI interrupts for cortex A_0 but unable to generate for cortex A_1. what might be the issue ?regards srikanth

I need to transmit data over usb with minimum 1 Mb/s from device to host, I configured my mcu (stm32h732zg) as an audio device to get a large packet transfer.the function that transfer the data USBD_AUDIO_DataIn is empty. and USBD_CtlSendData i'm using cause the usb descriptor request failed.
