Hello, I found the altium files including layout for X-Nucleo-NFC08A1? I saw the Altium files for the X-Nucleo-NFC06 but nothing for the newer board. On the web there are the gerber files posted but they're for the X-Nucleo-Out08A1, not the same board. Having the raw Altium files will make it much easier to determine exact location of components. Thanks

I want to make Websocket Client in STM32CUBEIDE and I am using STM32f407 Discovery Board, I have completed the Program with Ethernet(MII, DP83848) with LWP(DHCP enabled) along with FREERTOS. So kindly help me in giving support for the same....

I have the STM32H745I-DISCO board for tests.I want to achieve a simple thing: play 1KHz sine wave over the speaker output of the board. As I researched the subject I found in the documentation:"Two external speakers can be connected to WM8994ECS/R via JP5 for the rightspeaker and JP2 for the left speaker"Good. Then, the WM8994 chip can be accessed via SAI / I2S.I've seen https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7/tree/master/Projects/STM32H745I-DISCO/Examples/SAI/SAI_AudioPlaybackI don't know how to run it. The example requires IDEs I don't have and I'm not familiar with. However, looking at the sources, I see it uses PDM2PCM Middleware.I just tried to add it to my STM32CubeIDE project. Of course, the CubeIDE failed to generate the configuration dumping mx.scratch file.Looking at the file I figured out I need to add following include paths:../../../Middlewares/ST/STM32_Audio/Addons/PDM/Inc../../../CM7/PDM2PCM/AppAnd the link to CM7\PDM2PCM\App and Middlewares\ST\STM32_Audio direct

STM32G473CCT uses the HAL library for writing flash pages.i have constructed some code to use the last FLASH page as NV memory.bool eeprom_write8(uint16_t address, uint8_t data) { return eeprom_write(address, &data, 1); }   bool eeprom_write(uint16_t address, uint8_t *pdata, uint16_t size) { static uint8_t ARRAY_ALLIGN(PageData,FLASH_PG_SIZE);   __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_PGSERR); __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_SIZERR); __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_PGAERR); __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_PROGERR); __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_FASTERR); flash_status status = FLASH_OK;   if((address+size) > EEPROM_SIZE){ return false; }   if(eeprom_page_data_changed(address,pdata,size)){ // data changed -> // store page content in ram and do a page clear eeprom_storepage_and_erase(PageData); // update the data with the new data for(uint16_t n=0;n<size;n++){ PageData[address+n]=*pdata; pdata++; } // write the updated

This is my first STM32 project and I am using an STM32F030C6T as a MODBUS slave device. I used the STM32CubeMX V6.6.1 to create a project template and STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.10.1 Build: 12716_20220707_0928 (UTC), along with an STlink interface. When I build the MX project using HAL driver under project settings/advanced the project builds correctly but when I download into the target device it crashes as soon as it tries to initialise the USART and other devices. If I comment those drivers out so only the GPIO is initialised I can get the GPIO to run for a very short time before in triggers the HardFault interrupt. If I rebuild the project and change to using the LL driver interface, the code builds and downloads and runs without issues. I can then add my 5 lines of code for a blinky light.Seems to be an issue with the HAL setup or my environment, any suggestions welcome.Footprint for the LL interface is  HAL footprint

I found a strange mismatch in the reference manual for the OTP memory size:Accordingly to the manual page 78 (https://www.st.com/resource/en/reference_manual/rm0385-stm32f75xxx-and-stm32f74xxx-advanced-armbased-32bit-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf) the start-address of the OTP memory begins at `0x1FF0 F000` and ends at address: `0x1FF0 F41F` (in AXIM mode) and is declared as a memory area with the size of 1024 bytes. But if I calculate `0x1FF0F41F - 0x1FF0F000 + 1` I get a total of 1056 bytes OTP memory?!Is this a typo in the manual or is my calculation wrong?

I bought STM32F0Discovery. However, I cannot write the program with STM32CubeIDE. It says that ST-Link firmware update is required. When I try to update it says ST-Lijnk is not in DFU mode. Can anyone tell me how to put STM32F0Discovery into DFU mode?

Hello,I created a new project in STM32CubeIDE for my STM32MP157A by using STM32CubeMX. In it I enabled UART and FreeRTOS on CMSIS-RTOSv2 and that's all. I use the auto generated code. Then I wanted to use TraceAlyzer on top of FreeRTOS however, upon including#include "trcRecorder.h"In the FreeRTOSConfig.h I got a strange error:/Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/CMSIS_RTOS_V2/cmsis_os2.c:154: multiple definition of `SysTick_Handler'; ./Core/Src/stm32mp1xx_it.o:   ./CM4/Core/Src/stm32mp1xx_it.c:160: first defined hereThe SysTick_Handler is defined in both files, here are the implementations if it may help:in cmsis_os2.c :/* SysTick handler implementation that also clears overflow flag. */ void SysTick_Handler (void) { /* Clear overflow flag */ SysTick->CTRL;   if (xTaskGetSchedulerState() != taskSCHEDULER_NOT_STARTED) { /* Call tick handler */ xPortSysTickHandler(); } } #endif /* SysTick */In stm32mp1xx_it.c :/** * @brief This function handles System tick timer

How can I connect external ram to stm32h743vit6? I need at least 2 MB of external memory for the display (800x480 16 bit color). SDRAM unfortunately this microcontroller does not support

We've been using the LSM6DS3 for several years, and are considering a switch to the LSM6DSM. It appears they are pin-compatible, and a superficial look at the register descriptions indicates they could be software-compatible as well, i.e. I could swap the ...DSM onto the same PCB and it may work out of the box.Sadly, my SMT reworking skills aren't yet up to the task of swapping the ICs on a board, and I'd prefer not to spend half a day comparing the datasheets line by line, so I'm hoping somebody can answer the question off the top of their head: can I swap out the LSM6DSM on this board and expect it to work without changing my code at all? I'm not doing anything fancy with it, just setting ODRs, ranges, and using the FIFO.EDIT: I *did* manage to rework a board, and I2C communication appears to be working, but the data isn't yet flowing. It's possible that the INT line somehow isn't connected while the rest of them are.

How do i find an extensive example for read/write value in flash of STM32H7, for store of data to keep after powerloss or reboot? Thanks

Hi! I'm searching a way to exit from the builtin bootloader after having successfully programmed my flash from USB. Is it possible to jump to my program in flash if I continue to hold the boot0 pin always high? I have done some attempts using STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe specifying the start address (option -s from command line) to my ResetHandler function which is in flash at address 0x8000970. It seems that this doesn't work and it needs to switch boot0 pin at a low level to make it works.Just to explain my setup: I'm using the STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe program as following:STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=USB1 -w myprog.bin 0x8000000 -s 0x8000970Do you have any suggest? Thank you!

HelloI developed prototype of wearable device using STM32WBMMG, and planning to acquire FCC certification.STM32WB5MMG already has FCC ID; YCP-STM32WB5M001; however, it is the certification of the chip itself. When mounted any kind of devices(PCBs etc.), another FCC certification for device is required. At this point, for device certification, the Bluetooth antenna should be able to connect or disconnect. However, STM32WB5MMG is integrated with MCU and Bluetooth module with antena. Is there a way to connect or disconnect only the antenna? Thanks.

I'm using the latest API version (1.2.8) available from the VL53L4CX product page.In my project I have implemented an interface to set configurations or run calibrations.I am also using this driver for both the VL53L4CD and VL53L4CX, since the driver seems to be universal for all VL53LX parts. Correct me if I'm wrong.(Problem 1 )I noticed the function VL53LX_PerformOffsetPerVcselCalibration(~) would hang seemingly at random calls.Below is the block of code with the issue and a potential fix. After I changed it, I've had no issues running it.while ((Status == VL53LX_ERROR_NONE) && (inloopcount < Max) && (inloopcount < OverMax)) {   Status = VL53LX_WaitMeasurementDataReady(Dev);   if (Status == VL53LX_ERROR_NONE)   Status = VL53LX_GetMultiRangingData(Dev, &RangingMeasurementData);   pRange = &(RangingMeasurementData.RangeData[0]);   goodmeas = (pRange->RangeStatus == VL53LX_RANGESTATUS_RANGE_VALID);   ics = pdev->ll_state.

The product's part number is "VNL5030JTR-E". They had different levels of ecopack. One is ECOPACK 1, another is ECOPACK 2. I found the website shows the product is Ecopack1 in May 25, 2021. But now the website shows the product is Ecopack2. Coul you provide the product change notification ?

Hello @ST_community,I am Trying to program STM32-H7A3ZI-Q Nucleo board.I couldn't debug the board attached the images for reference. Also Attached the log file for reference. Please let me know how to debug. Thanks,

Hi all,I'm doing some research about STLs. What is different between STM's X-CUBE-STL offering and ARM STL Libraries ? Why would you use one over another ?Thank you, best regards

Hi all,i'd like to know the typical resource requirements (mainly required computing power / DMIPS value) of running the TouchLessControl library (STSW-035) library on a host MCU. The GestureEVK-UM.pf mentions a typical RAM and FLASH footprint :I know that the library is also availble for Cortex-M0...But I can not find maximum usage of (D)MIPS, required to run the STSW-035 SW stack.Even if its may hard to give an exact value due to mapping of DMIPS to real world algorithms -  There are interrupts, DMA, peripherals, RTOS, .... - an indicative DMIPS range would be quite helpful.

Dear Sir.I migrated the code of TSV_BasicAcquisition_Interrupt to my board .The IO rae different than the exampleExample Custom Board,PC7 PB6PC6 PB5PB13 PB12PB14 PB13I keep getting HAL_TSC_ErrorCallback,How can I tell the source of the HAL_TSC_ErrorCallback .I ist possible to calculate the capacitance of the TKEY ?. Please Advise.

Hi,FDCAN is not available.I am using STM32G474RE.I want to set the baud rate to 1MBps in classic mode.  I often stumble on if (HAL_FDCAN_Start(&hfdcan1) != HAL_OK){ Error_Handler();}.I don't know what causes it to fail.I think having a bad setup.Thanks.

Hey!I am having trouble with my ADC readings on my STM32G071RB.I am currently using 2 ACD-s for testing. VREF is set to 2.048 V. On 1 ADC, I give the input of 1.65 V directly from an external PSU. On the other ADC, I use the boards 3.3 V and run it through a voltage divider to also get 1.65 V.When I measure the voltage with a multimeter, the voltage on both cables going into the MCU is about 1.65 V . The result from the ADC that measures input from the PSU gives me a reading in the range of ~3360 which calculates to about 1.68 V. But the result from the ADC that measures the input from the voltage divider gives me a reading of about ~2890 which calculates to about 1.45 V.Where could this difference come from if the actual voltage going to the ADC pin is the same? Tried swapping the ADCs, calibration on/off but the result is the same.

CubeMX (version 6.6.1 and others) generates this code. /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_USART3_UART_Init(); MX_I2C1_Init(); MX_UART4_Init(); MX_UART5_Init(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); MX_USART6_UART_Init(); MX_USART2_UART_Init();The purpose of MX_DMA_Init() appears to be to configure the clocks for the required DMA peripherals. I don't see this being done anywhere else.If DMA is being used for the UARTs, the MX_UART*_Init() functions call HAL_UART_Init() which calls HAL_UART_MspInit() which calls HAL_DMA_Init() which attempts to write to registers of the DMA peripheral(s).Unfortunately, in the case of USART3, UART4, UART5 and USART1 in the example above, the clock for the DMA peripheral has not been enabled at this point and so the writes to registers of the DMA peripheral fail. The UART then does not operate as intended. The workaround seems to be to explicitly call MX_DMA_Init() before this sequence. /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ &nbs
