ST25R3911B and Compliance with ISO15693

Hello all,

I am trying to understand how to configure the  ST25R3911B to comply with the ISO15693.

In particular I do not understand how to set the Low/High Bitrate.

Looking at the datasheet of the ST25R3911B the Bit Rate Definition Register lowest achievable value is fc/128 while the ISO 15693 goes fc/2048!

I cannot find much of information how to setup the ISO15693 on the datasheet. Is there some other reference, or instructions on how to do so?

But it seems that ISO15693 is not inherently supported... So I wonder if it should be mentioned in the specs as it is more like a custom protocol implementation with coding/decoding performed in the external logic and not within the ST25 device among all.

Hi,

yes the ST25R3911B does internally implement all of ISO15693-2. Bit coding/decoding and framing needs to be done in SW. ST provides software showing 1of4 high data rate using one subcarrier - e.g. inside X-CUBE-NFC5.

Low data rate is also possible but not supported by this software. More RAM will be required and decoder logic needs to be changed.
