Sorry, my fault. I might have removed the wrong jumper. By removing the jumper of the signals SWDIO, SWCLK and NRST, no more reset is issued and the program continues normal execution. Closing the issue.

It was jumper JP8 position 9-10. I'll check both NRST and the voltages and give feedback.

It is LPUART1 which is tunneled by the ST_LINK through USB to my laptop.
