i think i have the same problem.External loader is working perfectly via SWD, but not via USBI was using STM32CubeProgrammer v2.15.0

the built-in way only works, if there is only one way to arrive at a specific screen.If there are two ways to arrive at a screen you need to remember the id/index/... of the previous screen, so that you know to which screen you should go to.
