How to program external flash memory and debug？

I use w25q256 and have stldr file of stm32cubeprog. I would like to ask, how to directly use vscode to program external flash memory and debug？
How to download the program to the external flash and debug it?

I am using qspi to connect w25q256, I have a stldr file suitable for stm32cubeprogrammer. I want to know how to use STM32 VS Code Extension to program and debug external flash.

I had the same problem and I tried to install Cortex-M Debug Extension, but it didn't work
