STM8S Firmware Library

Hello, this is my first post here and my first attempt in programming an ST MCU. I today bought STM8S discovery board and it should arrive shortly.

I was looking for some pointers as to where to get the firmware library I read about at most online websites, which can help me get started. I have downloaded Cosmic compiler and will use STVD IDE to get started.I will appreciate any help and also if someone can recommend any book to learn by looking at simple projects done in STM8S using cosmic and stvd.Thanks
