Hello Marco,

option bytes programming is alike EEPROM programming.

Chapter 4.6.5 of RM0016 (STM8S microcontroller family Reference Manual) explains the details.

To enable option bytes programming you must set OPT bit in FLASH_CR2 and execute the EEPROM programming steps.
