Just a note,

Starting from version 2.1.4 ChibiOS/RT includes support for the STM8L family. A demo for the STM8L-Discovery is also included. Giovanni ---

Hello Stefan,

I would like to try the Cosmic compiler with Eclipse. I have managed to built the project according the steps you wrote. But I am not able to flash the device with error:C:\Cosmic\gmake.exe: Nothing to be done for `flash'.Where exactly shall I write the lines ''flash : ...'' into the makefile?Debug  is described quite briefly - would it be possible to write more detailed description of debug configuration?I want to stop using STVD because of debug - it is enormously slow and whole IDE needs restart after several debuggings. Therefore possibility of debugging in Eclipse is very interesting for me.Thank you a lot in advance.Tony

How about updating that comparison. It currently doesn't even mention the IMO best two compilers for the STM8.
