I was told by the maintainer of the STM32 2017 Wish List that it is closed for new postings. I guess we just post to the STM32 community.

Well, I have to admit that they worked hard to offer Low Layer code generation for all their STM32 microcontrollers in STM32CubeMX software (I needed that for STM32L1). Probably, they need a vacation and after that, they will start offering SDCC code generation in their STM8CubeMX, but I don't expect to have bit fields for the device files this year. Well, it would be a pleasant surprise, but I guess is too much to ask right now. Although, a parser/generator may not be so hard to make to generate those device files.
