Is it possible to get DfuSe 3.0.6 work after STM32CubeProgrammer Install?

After installing the cubeProgrammer, Dfuse software is not recognizing the STM devices. STM32Cube programmer is OK. But we have customers that uses Dfuse and already documentated how to update devices via Dfuse. Is it possible to work properly again with Dfuse programmer?

Dear @istepne ,

Good question. Indeed when installing our STM32CubeProgrammer ,it forces the Windows driver of the DFU enabled devices - bootloader or others IAP/DFU aware having the Our VID and PID = 0xDF11 to a new Driver that comes with the STM32CubeProgrammer and replace our STTube3.0.sys which is custom. If it is really required and DfuSe is still used, We fully understand the concern : you can just go the Windows Parameters and select that driver and update it manually from the old legacy DFuSe3.6.0 directory.

it is time for our old DFuSe Software to be replaced and no more maintained, However we provide all sources code to our customers to maintain as they wants. That tool is designed, developed and released in 2002 !! 18 Years ago, at that time we do not have STM32 and 32-bits MCUs are not famous as today, so we used old Technology such as Microsoft Visual C++ 6 and then we maintained to support our customers. Thank you.

Cheers,
