can't update STM32 Cube Programmer

Hi,

when starting STM32 Cube Programmer (W64) or checking for updates I get this message

There is "No Proxy" set in the Proxy settings and the Windows PC has internet access (browsing www works).

Any ideas?

I've tried different proxy settings (both "No Proxy" and "Use System Proxy Parameters").

I clicked on check connection, and I got the green check instead of the red cross (as shown in the figure).

However, when I click on software update, the connection error occurs (as shown in the figure).

I've used STM32CubeProgrammer to create partitions into micro SD cards in the STM32MP157F-DK2 development board. An error occurred and the STM32CubeProgrammer stopped working (as shown in the figure, log file attached).

[Problem solved] The image can be downloaded to the target board and booted successfully via STM32CubeProgrammer

I got a hint from the webpage "Populate the target and boot the image."

Hint:
STM32CubeProgrammer v2.14.0 is recommended for ecosystem release v5.0.0

Hence, I tried to use Ecosystem v5.0.0 and chose the "FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157F-dk2-optee.tsv" file in the Starter Package.
It works. The image was downloaded to the target board and booted successfully.

NOTE: [Filename inconsistancy]

The tar.gz filenames of the starter package stated in the webpages "Populate the target and boot the image" and "STM32MP1-Ecosystem-v5.0.0 Starter Package" are not the same.

It is "en.flash-stm32mp1-openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23.06.21.tar.gz" in the webpage "Populate the target and boot the image"

Hence, the command "tar xvf en.flash-stm32mp1-openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23.06.21.tar.gz" shown in the webpage "Populate the target and boot the image" cannot be copied, pasted, and used directly.
