Hi everyone,
I am encountering an issue with the "Access to MCU Selector" feature.
The Problem: After installing X-CUBE-AI packages version 10.2 (or any version later than 10.0), the MCU Selector fails to open. It gets stuck in an infinite loading loop. Additionally, the "Output" view remains empty, showing no error logs.
Troubleshooting: I found that if I uninstall the versions newer than 10.0 and revert to X-CUBE-AI version 9.0.0, the MCU Selector works perfectly fine.
Has anyone faced this issue? Is there a known workaround or solution to use the 10.2 version without breaking the MCU Selector?
Thanks in advance.

Hello @DwD666
I just performed a test using MX 6.16.1 and after installing the X-CUBE-AI packages version 10.2
the "Access to MCU Selector" feature is still working correctly.
So let's try follow those steps: close MX then delete the following folder
And start MX again and retry.

Hi @DwD666,
If you uninstall X Cube AI does it solves your issue?
Does the other option: "Access to board selector" works?
Do you get a small window opening when you click on either option that download some files?
I have never seen this issue and I cannot reproduce it.
Could you try to maybe reinstall cubeMX?
I think more of a proxy issue than a X Cube AI issue...
Have a good day,
Julian

Hi Julian,
Thanks for the suggestions. To answer you: uninstalling X-CUBE-AI did fix the issue, and the "Board Selector" was working fine the whole time.
I actually found the solution: I uninstalled the package, opened the MCU Selector, and then re-installed X-CUBE-AI (>10.0.0) from the "Middleware and Software Packs" tab inside the selector, rather than using the main "Help" menu manager.
This method downloaded some missing MCU-related files that weren't downloaded previously. After a restart, the problem is resolved.
Thank you!
